Our first bedroom set worked out so well that when it was time to upgrade the guest room, we went straight back to European Sleep Design and found our our next bed with the help of Kyle who was just as informative and helpful as when we purchase our first bed with his help.The one thing I would like to point out was the customer server we experienced on delivery day. The delivery crew kept in good contact with me so I could plan around their arrival. Unfortunately, the lawn sprinklers never got the memo and clicked on prior to the crew’s arrival leaving a watered down path to the front door. Without a mention from me, the delivery crew set up a path of clean walking pads from their truck…to the front door…and then through my home to assure no water was tracked it onto my floors during the setup. They also made sure all the hallway corner walls were protected from any contact. The move-in and installation went so smooth and they left no trace behind. The whole process...from the the selection and purchase of the mattress in the showroom through to the final setup in the Customer’s home was so well run and stress free. Some months after our purchase we are delighted with our bed, although it was comfortable from the first night. Mr. OBrien had us try different variations until we were pretty sure of our choice and was unusually helpful. The delivery men were also excellent, and there was no smell at any time.

If youre looking for a latex-based bed or a bed that uses high-quality materials, you definitely should check this place out.Itll be worth your time - I spend at least 4 hours a day on my bed, its important to get something thats comfortable and will support the body properly. I have two mattresses, oxygen pillows, a bed frame and bedding from European Sleep Design and couldn’t be more happy with my experience. The sales staff is knowledgeable and friendly without being pushy and the products are a great value (my 13 year old queen bed is still perfect - like sleeping on a cloud but incredibly supportive). I also have the sleep wedge which I am currently using through my second pregnancy and it is a sleep saver - helps with my acid reflux and allows me to sleep both on my back and side and breath more comfortably while this baby is pushing up on my diaphragm. I’ve sent friends and family members here and they have all been very satisfied. I highly recommend ESD!

This bed is a life changer - should have done it years ago. And surprisingly more affordable than expected. No more waking up achy. Now I wake up well rested and refreshed. One of the many bonuses is no off-gassing of the superior, natural components. My friends make fun of me because I love my bed so much. There is no way I could have gotten the right mattress/bed by guessing and buying online. The in-store experience was relaxing and the staff super helpful and knowledgeable. I have since gone back for a bedroom set, oxygen pillows, camel hair duvet, wool blankets, sheets and gifts for others. Fantastic products and experience.

Beautiful furnishings and comfortable beds but most of all exceptional customer experience. We came in a little grubby from kayaking and were treated as well as if we were in haute couture. We are looking forward to our lovely new bed in a few weeks.

We purchased the entire ESD system about three years ago— mattress, pillows, m&p covers, topper, and flexible slat foundation. We couldn’t be happier with our purchase. Besides comfort, there’s zero movement transfer and it was also important to us that the materials are all natural, no chemicals or off-gassing. There is no pressure on any part of my body (such as hips) with this bedding. We sleep so well with this bedding!

I had the pleasure of visiting ESD in Folsom a couple weeks ago to look into their line of products and experience comfort tailored specifically for me. Despite arriving near to closing time, I was greeted by the extremely kind, knowledgeable staff and was treated with the utmost in customer service. After finding a bed similar to the one I currently sleep on, the staff fit me for a new Oxygen pillow. Now, after 2 weeks of sleeping on this pillow, I can definitely say that it is a game changer. I tried sleeping with my old pillow for a night and couldn’t even make it all the way through without switching back to my new pillow from ESD! I never realized how important it was to match your pillow to the stiffness or softness of your mattress. I don’t normally write reviews, but the service I received and quality of the product certainly warrants one. I highly recommend visiting the store if you are in the area to check out their products!

We spent the day being “fitted” for a new bed. Who knew??? In my 22 years as a Chiropractor, I never knew there was such a thing as having a bed custom made to fit YOUR body. One of the owners, Jill Huckaby, also my co-Aunt (we share 2 nieces), spent the afternoon with us testing out different beds, looking at spinal alignment, even fitting us for new pillows. We decided on a King size power adjustable bed with individual firmness levels and separate remote controls. This should be fun...can’t wait for it to arrive!!! I highly recommend the drive to Folsom to make the most of your night time rest, a good nights sleep is so important!

We recently went to ESD to purchase mattresses. Caitlin helped us and she was very informative and low pressure. She seemed to know when to let us be but was there when we had more questions or needed her input. They went above and beyond, even moving some mattresses around so we could feel them on the adjustable base we were buying. Excellent customer service. We have been sleeping on our new mattresses for almost two weeks now and we are very comfortable and sleeping great. I will definitely return here when the time comes.

I needed a bed frame and mattress in a hurry for a friend being released from a hospital for an apartment that we stay in part of the year. Without the time to buy one of the fabulous custom mattresses that we tried at the lovely store, I was worried that the least expensive option (that they had on hand) would be an inferior option, albeit a non toxic one. Our recovering friend reported that it was a fabulous mattress. Now, I am sleeping on it part time and it is better than any other mattress that I have bought to date. And I have bought excellent mattresses before that are non toxic as well (organic wool and latex, etc). So, the interesting thing is that their bottom line mattress is a really good value. The salespeople are wonderful as well.

We bought our first European Sleep Design mattress 10 years ago. We had gone through the trials of trying almost all kinds, including Tempurpedic and high end brand names. We decided to take a look at their mattresses as the mechanics of how they work just made sense. Well, it is the BEST DECISION we have ever made. So much so that we bought another one for our home in L.A.. We spend 1/3 of life sleeping on these things, and there is nothing healthier for you than sleeping well. At the risk of sounding dramatic, buying this mattress changed our lives!!!

The only place to buy a bed !!I have fibromyalgia, a knee and ankle issue.This is the absolute only bed I can sleep on.Tried numerous others, and had to rerturn them all.You may have to work a bit for your optimal comfort fit, however, the people at the Folsom store are great when working with you.Hope this helps someone.

Terrible management customer service!! Im very happy with the oxygen travel pillow I bought at this store, but while trying to buy a regular oxygen pillow in 2 more visits, I was helped by a lady that stated that one pillow I was trying looked good, but in fact it was the pillow she had just told me was too high. Based on her marginal judgment, I bought that one since the other was too soft to side sleep on. I used it one night and I woke up with my head feeling like I was lying on a square since oxygen pillows have a rectangle cut out for the head placement. I apologized for needing so much assistance during my buying experience, but in my opinion they must feel put out at this company giving customers extra help based on the response I got from the owner. I believe this may be a defective pillow and I complained to one of the staff on the phone about that since the square feeling on my head is not normal in a pillow. This is the email response from the owner Jill about my complaints. She didnt bother to call. I just wanted my money back!Barbara,We spent hours trying to help you over the course of several visits to our store, and we already ate the cost of one pillow. We explained the policy to you, each one of us, (more than once). Pillows/Bedding are non-returnable, but we allowed you a one time exchange. It is stated clearly on your receipt. You chose your second pillow. We didnt force it on you.I would ask that you refrain immediately from bullying my staff. I have changed my review to 4 stars for the customer service. ESD is working hard to resolve my issue with the bed motor, warrantied by another company. It is vwry dissapointing to have a 2 month old bed and have the motor go out after having a tech come out to tell you Nothing is wrong.Still love my bed but because of this situation i do not recommend the adjustable/massage base. We started out looking in the usual places for a mattress. While looking for reviews comparing two big brand names I ran across a forum talking about local mfrs and how to get not only better value for the $$$ but a better mattress as well. ESD in Folsom just happens to sell one of these lines. The product itself is great, but of course this is a business review.The staff at ESD is great. They absolutely take the time to work with you and figure out what you need. Unlike the big name stores, these guys really know what theyre selling. Not just the talking points of the features, but they actually understand how their product works and that helps them get you the right product if you decide to purchase. If youre in the market for a new mattress, you definitely need to put these guys on your list to check out.
