For several years, Garrick and Thomas, have provided excellent service. My last contact with them was probably in June. At that time they were busy restructuring their company to a mobile service. It appears something went awry. They have no internet presence and cannot be reached by phone or email. I hope that should they read this, they will make an effort to reconnect with their old customers and once again provide the kind of service we had come to expect.

The business phone is shut down. Very concerned about Garrick. No reply to multiple calls/emails since 09-17-21. Last word from him he was recovering from an injury and nothing since then. If anyone knows more, please share. Hes the best.

I left my computer with them 2 months ago and never got it back. They dont answer phone calls either. I dropped by their location and it is empty. I guess my computer and all my photos and documents are gone forever.

Garrick provided top-notch service. I am not the most techy kind of person, and yet he never made me feel like he was talking down to me, nor did he make me feel uncomfortable. He is a good listener, and he educated me in a humble way, about some details of laptops for which I no knowledge. He helped me find a used laptop that would meet my needs, and did not try to up-sell me something more than what I needed. He offered me the option of upgrading some of the features, which I accepted. I wanted to be done with MS, so I asked if he could install Linux Mint for me, to which he agreed. For a very reasonable price (about 1/2 of what I was expecting), I am getting a great refurbished laptop, that I expect to last for many years. He offers a 1 year warranty on the parts for a computer he refurbishes. BONUS! He is the best computer repair I have found in Folsom, and I HAVE tried the others. Garrick is extremely professional, delivers on time as promised, and makes working with him a piece of cake. He is just an all around nice human. Check out his business!

Shopped Bestbuy, Staples and Offimax for tech to set up my new HP Windows 10 desktop. Found Garrick at BitWise very personable, helpful with a high degree of experience and technical expertise. He set up my computer, data transfer etc. without a hitch along with timely responses to my questions...the business phone accepts texts! He was very busy with jobs, but did make time for me to even pick my machine after hours when working late if necessary.

I took my MacBook Pro in originally because it wouldnt turn on, and an Apple Genius had said that it was because of the hard drive. It wasnt, and after testing every component of my computer Rob finally found the real problem. He endlessly troubleshooted it for me but was very fair about the price, and offered to keep testing different parts of the computer that most people would have charged extra for. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating. I couldnt have asked for a better experience at this place. I originally went in just to have them take the hard drive out of my computer because I needed to send it off to a very expensive data recovery facility. Garrick is the man, he recovered the data himself saving me hundreds of dollars, and wiped the computer after thus saving me from dealing with the lovely folks at Dell. Awesome place.

Hes worked on my ancient HP Pavillion along with external drives, recovered a MAC laptop that my daughter had soaked, a MAC desktop, and any other peripheral connection you can think of. Had an unexpected hard drive crash that brought my business to a stand-still! Bitwise consulted me on the phone with great information, had the parts in-stock to do the repair, did the repair in the time frame they quoted and for a very fair price. I would recommend this company and will use Bitwise if the need arises again in the future.

Being a women looking for a computer repair person is tough. I liken it to going to a new car dealer. The sharks are all around just waiting for a single women to walk in so they can pounce. Computer repair can be the same expereince. They can take advantage of her she wont know what we are talking about. So Im very happy to report that as not the case at Bitwise computer. I found their service to be fast, super friendly and Rob was very understanding to my needs and actually listened to what I had to say. How freshing is that? Bitwise is the best. Rob Barrie has worked on my MacBook Pro, and my iMac 27. I had issues with both computers. His prices are fair. He has outstanding followup. I have had to phone several times on some issues (my fault), he was patient and resolved my problems. I highly recommend Bitwise.
