After signing up for an upgrade with our Xfinity service we were prompted to make an in store appointment. We arrived and checked in from the car as prompted. When we were called for our que, we were told to wait for an associate. One came, then proceeded to assist a different walk in customer after acknowledging us. Then a whole boat load of people walked in for walk in appointments and we were told we had to wait to get them checked in before we were helped.Needing to change my last name on the account, and despite having both my new and old IDs was still told I needed a marriage certificate to prove change of name. The lady was short with us and rude from the beginning as were the other “greeters” in the store. Apparently making an appointment ahead of time doesn’t give customers their due priority. I’ll be going elsewhere for my Xfinity needs after this experience even if it means wasting gas to get there.
The guy who was working at the store had me wait over 25 mins with my 5 mo. old daughter simply to return equipment. There was only one other person in the store and multiple associates. 👎🏼
Tatiana was very helpful did everything she could to help with my issues. I love Comcast.
Switched from AT&T to XFinity (Home, TV, Internet & phone). We had an awesome deal with XFinity. We really disliked our experience with AT&T. We would like to give a huge shout out to Spike. Our XFinity mobile rep, Spike was very helpful, making our mobile switch and setting our new phones. He made everything so easy and seamless. We even bought 3 new cases from him. He even helped set up our daughter’s phone in New York! Thank you, Spike!! We are happy customers of XFinity mobile.
Manager Matt was amazing help and Justin went above and beyond to help get new router!!
This Comcast location was extremely disappointing. They lack some serious customer service not to mention respect. It’s not hard to be kind to people. I walked through the door without a mask and was asked very rudely to put one on. I mentioned that I didnt have one and Alex, a store employee walks away from me with out a word and comes back holding a mask up to me. I grabbed it and put it on immediately and proceeded to tell them my reasoning for stopping in. Alex had a crazy attitude and acted like it was inconvenient that I was even there. This was super uncomfortable from the moment I walked in the store. I received many dirty looks the entire visit up until I left the store. I am left super disappointed in how poorly I was treated. I wouldn’t recommend this location in any way. Some employees are very unprofessional, however I went back in today to finish my transaction and the man that helped me was very kind. I guess it’s hit or miss with these types of company’s
2 visits in one day to fix what supposed to be an easy equipment issue
Nice store. Limited staff. I booked an appointment online and they were about 8 minutes late with another customer, but they had it all ready so I was out within a few minutes of the rep becoming available. I also believe the greeter was running interference managing the drop ins vs. appointments which I really appreciated (I would have been ticked if I had to reschedule entirely because they were helping customers without appointments ahead of me!). All said I was out within the initial 15 minutes predicted!
Alex lies, I went in to buy a phone. He told me I had to have internet service with them in order for the phone to work. Fair enough what do I know. He then told me after 12 payments of $16.66 the phone would be mine. When I went in to pick up my phone, the 12 payments had now gone to 24 payments. Their manager is a nasty piece of work, really got into my face for not keeping a 6ft distance. Should have walked out then and there.
There’s bad service then there’s Xfinity.Comcast covering up under a different brand.
Quick, friendly, and i got my bill lowered
Ther is no direct number to call their store. 1 star.
ONCE AGAIN COMCAST IS NOT WORKING,THANK GOD PHONE HASPLRNTY OF TIME ON IT,BUT NOT GOING 2 WATCH HULU ON A 3 INCH SCREEN
Very accommodating to my elderly parent. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Make an appointment before going, otherwise youll be waiting a bit. Staff was polite and helpful.
Worst experience of my life. They strung me along for 6 months trying to get cable to my house while all of my neighbors have cable. Theyd never return calls, return emails, the construction manager would never call despite them saying they would tons of time. Eventually, they finally just changed the status of my address on their website to unavailable because they didnt want to run the cable line literally across the street.
5 workers standing around while there are 4 customers waiting to be helped. Terrible service.
I was so impressed with the knowledge and helpfulness of Cory H. He helped to answer my questions and find my best deal.I couldnt get connected to a person through the phone or the xfinity chat in the app. He made up for the awful customer service I encountered during the previous week.
Associate very helpful
Worst customer service ever
Comcast is no longer at this location. Came here on January 8th to return some equipment and its gone.
Fast service even when there is a line. No hype or attempt to over sell. Courteous and knowledgeable sales reps who own what they say and will give you direct contact and their card.
Just all around rude . Alex likes to lie to folks, the manager I forget his name doesn’t even bother to listen and this whole you need a mask it’s the law is rediculous .
From start to finish, Christian assisted us, and he was Top Notch!
If you are thinking about getting xfinity or comcast as a provider, dont. Even with spending the most I possible can for the best internet around Im getting 4.16 download and 3.74 upload. What a great way to waste $2k on a router and $400 a month for service.
I’m having trouble activating my new iPhones. One of my numbers was dropped. The representative Whom I purchased my service from was supposed to call me back but didn’t even though I had an appointment set up. I called customer service then I waited on hold for an hour. Then I finally started talking to a Punjabi lady whom either hung up on me or dropped the call during the start of our conversation and didn’t have the courtesy to call me back. Now I’m waiting on hold another hour! I’m angry because I paid a lot of money to switch over to xfinity and I’m already regretting my decision.I hope I get better service going into the store because telephone service is excruciatingly regretful!
I wanted to get an Xfinity Mobile account set up and get new phones. When the order was complete they told me they were sending two iPhones to an address on file that is actually a vacant house. This address was somehow tagged as my primary residence. It was a house I was flipping and they never bothered to ask. We cancelled the order and started over. This process took three hours. Then one of the two phones I received via FedEx was wrong, I took it back to the store for an exchange and they had to place another order. I left the phone at the store and the next phone I received was wrong...again. I went back to the store to return it and was told that the phone I wanted was out of stock and if I waited till the new year I would’t be able to take advantage of the current promotion. So I settled for the larger phone, which I am growing to like, by the way, so it wasn’t a bad choice. Now I received an email from XFinity Mobile that the window to return my phone is now passed and that I’m going to be charged $958.33 to the card on file. This is absolute BS as it’s all due to the incompetent employees of the store who was responsible for returning the phone. Now I have to take more time out of my day to go back to the store and to get this resolved. All in I have six hours invested of just time in store, not to include the trip I have to make today or the time it takes to get there. Consumer beware and make sure to get a receipt. On a positive side, Ryan, The assistant store manager, took good care of me the last time I was there. I just think that it’s a bit excessive for me to have to make four trips to the store because of mistakes made either at the store, or at the distribution level. And now my credit card is going to be charged because of their mistakes. I find that completely unacceptable.
I love comcast, but when you want to call to talk to someone in the store - youre given a 1 800 number. Then it asks you your account number, but I dont have an account, and I want to open one!!!...anything to avoid a real person, and direct you in an endless loop!
Very helpful concerning our cell phones. Love Xfinity cell service. We were with Consumer Cellular for many years and love them, but with Xfinity, Verizon network and $12 a month plus a couple of $ for taxes, etc. cant be beat!!!
Evelyn at the Folsom store is amazing. Super helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you Evelyn.
I’m a new Comcast customer because I did not have a choice in internet providers in my area. I set up my account and everything over the phone, and I was told that I just had to go to the store to pick up my modem. I waited for over 30 minutes to just pick up a box.... it took less than 30 seconds to get me out of there once my name was called. Maybe it would be worth looking into a more efficient way to sort line order!
Outstanding and friendly customer service, especially Liz,and Kyla.Alex very good at explaining the equipment to set up my t.v.and internet.Would have liked to personally talked to store manager and compliment them.Phone number impossible to obtain. Thanks John Maglietta
This is probably the best Comcast store I have ever been to. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. The only problem is they work for Comcast whom cant help you over the phone with more technical problems with your service when there is a problem. Within 2 days and 8 hours on the phone with an ignorant rude staff, that hangs up on you when they dont know what to do, I am switching to AT&T and Direct TV. I can only hope that they will be able to provide me reliable service.
Worst service ! Non-educated staff who have no idea what they are talking about, especially Micheal or Mike. Employees need to be taught better customer service. They were flat out rude. Because of my experience there I cancelled my mobile service and went to T-Mobile for half the cost and got brand new phones! Get a clue Comcast- without customers you dont have a business!! Maybe you should treat us with respect and common courtesy and then maybe you couldve been the next biggest thing for mobile technology, but instead you offer poor service and incompetent staff! You caused me so much stress and made a customer do all the work, and cost me countless hours of being on the phone and still my issue is not resolved. Not to mention the high dollar price tag every month. Xfinity -Comcast flat out sucks! Run in the other direction and go with the other guys. Youll thank yourself later that you did.
The newly opened store is by old navy .very modern look and awesome people
Wait time was nominal, I think my service is what it should be, Christian was polite, knowledgeable, and he gave me his card if I have more questions. The only downside is that I have to schedule a call with the billing department to try to get charges reversed on services that were discontinued.
The staff at the store were very helpful but were unable to solve my account issue due to incompetence of the sales person who sold me my current contract. They did solve the technical issue with the device that was not working. I just have a tremendous dislike of Comcast the company, not the technical staff I their stores.
Bf and I went to get service and thought it would be easier in store because we can grab and set up at home. Well, no go because it needs a professional install. Guy literally only takes our address and bfs name. Then, after discovering we wouldn’t have anything for 14 days because a drop line needed to be installed, we try to expedite and nothing. We go into the store again to cancel and he tells me it is all canceled. He said “I promise” and used my name. He was working at the front left station. Yes. You. You jerk.Next morning. I get an email about the progress of my service THAT I JUST CANCELED. So I have to call them again for the 5th time this week and I think it’s finally taken care of. Maybe. Who knows.
Very helpful staff...short wait when you first get there
Comcast has come a long way. With a few new stores open, the waits arent as bad as they used to be and I was pleasantly surprised.
I came here to drop off a cable box and look at alternatives for my monthly service. I was helped right away, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely visit here again when I need to do business with Comcast in person.
Understand, nowadays it doesnt matter what cable, dish or whatever service you use. Everything is automated, you are always talking with someone in a call center, and they are ALWAYS have issues! What there isnt is CUSTOMER SERVICE! Anywhere. So what does it matter anymore where you go?
It certainly is there in the Bel Aire Center but I used my GPS to find it. It is not very visible. As I had completed 90% of my business over the phone all I had to do was drop off my old and pick up a new cable box, I was in and out very quickly. But it really was not much of a test of their service. A friendly lady waited on me immediately and had no difficulty completing my transaction.
What I dont like about them is the Price Increase whenever they want, however much they want, just because they can. They recently increased my bill & gave the excuse that it is their Yearly Price increase (Mind you, Ive had the service for 5 months). I do not like the fact that I was not made aware of these increases ahead of time. The 12 month contract is actually bullsh*t. Last time I checked A contract was an agreement for a certain amount that you have to pay for a set period of time. As a business, theyve made up their own rules. I know exactly what you guys are doing. YOU ARE GREEDY!!!
The guys that work here make working with Comcast very transparent. They make it easy to be a customer, far different than what Comcast is known for. I recommend visiting this store in person over trying to call any help lines.
Such helpful employees at this location. Answered all my questions that I had. Would ask for Nick or Spike, both were really helpful when I went in to get my new Galaxy S9. They were informative on everything and helped me choose the best options available to me.
Got a great deal with Xfinity Mobile! Really happy with it after 3 weeks and the people there were very friendly and helpful.
Needed a new modem. Customer service not only got us out of there in under 10 min, but he even recommended we buy our own modem since we already have our own wifi router so we can save money. No pressure up selling, great personality. Good customer service from Comcast, who knew.
I went in one day to exchange a remote that was no longer working, and the guy who helped me was very pleasant and helpful. I described an issue I was having and was told that if I brought in my router and box they could be exchanged for updated, more powerful equipment. When I went in to do this this, a woman helped me who seemed annoyed with my questions and told me, I just said that! I also found out that my helpful guy neglected to tell me there would be an additional monthly fee for the new equipment. It was a very unsatisfactory visit.
People are nice but the store is always busy and they don’t hire enough staff to cover that large of a store. And yes Comcast has plenty of money to hire as many people as they need.
I arrived at the store soon after they opened so am I experience may be different from yours if its busier. I came in to return my Comcast cable box because I switched plans and I only need internet. The gentleman was very friendly and helpful. What I appreciated was that he wasnt pushy or salesy when it came to him telling me about the cell phone plans they offer now. Thats really good because I dont like pushy salesmen but he was not pushy is very professional and appreciated my time very good place I would make the extra drive just to go here
I needed to return my equipment it was helped with in 5 minutes his service person was extremely helpful and extremely fast I was in and out of there in under 10 minutes really appreciated be noticed as soon as I walked in the door
Fantastic service and friendly staff Went to folsom to get a new cable box and new Remote control.
You may want to think twice about Ggoing from Comcast to AT&T. I just did that and it was one of the biggest mistakes I have EVER made. After 12 days with AT&T, I switched BACK to Comcast, lost my phone number due to AT&Ts bumbling, and they are STILL trying to Bille me for $685.00. Besides, not too many of the employees I spoke with DO NOT speak very good English! Do your research. and its not really cheaper.....considering!
We have had some issues with our cable service for awhile and were never able to get it resolved over the phone. We decided to visit our closest Xfinity store to see if maybe that was the answer. We waited about 10 minutes to be helped, exchanged some equipment, and began to explain our frustration. The clerk was the most helpful person I have dealt with at Comcast. In fact, he was probably the most helpful we have dealt with anywhere in quite some time. He listened carefully and explained our options. Then he set about resolving the issue for us and had us back up and running in less than 15 minutes. Customer Service like that is what saves this company as, most often, their call centers are not up to par.
THOSE GENTLEMEN 8N THAT STORW,ARE,VERY WELL MANNERS AND USE PEOPLE SKILLS VERY WELL.
I know, I know - its Comcast / Xfinity. Theyre horrible. Not so much. At this location Ive actually had far more good experiences than bad ones.It really seems to depend upon who you get here. The handful of times the first person I spoke with was unable to help me they called in a supervisor who was able to remedy the situation to my satisfaction.A few points off because it can get *really* busy here at times. However, they expanded to being open on Sundays and I havent needed to stop by since then. Its highly possible that cuts down on the crowds that can form on Saturdays.By in large the staff is friendly, have excellent customer service skills, and are very patient. The only real cons are the long lines and the fact that they can only really help with billing concerns or swapping out defective equipment. If you have any technical problems youre still at the merch of phone or chat tech support which is always very hit or miss.
Now THAT is customer service. Came in on a Saturday at 10:30am for a modem swap. Even though there were 15 other customers in the store, they greeted me, swapped my modem and sent me on my way in 5 min flat. Thank you for not wasting my time.
They always try to uograde your system! I only went in for a new router and to discuss connectivity issues. Left with an appointment for a tech to come out and a new box. Good service and friendly staff.
Xfinity Mobile is the worst cell company I have ever worked with. They are friendly and courteous when they sign you up and take your money. It’s a totally different story when you try to get assistance. After my husband’s death in an accident I spent three hours trying to get the account changed into my name. I sent in the death certificate and completed paperwork ss Requested. After all that I found out I still did not have access to the account. When I tried to change back to Verizon I was given the run around by multiple customer service representatives on the phone and in store. So far I have spent 13+ hours on this over a period of 7 days and I still have not been able to complete the transfer.I can’t wait to severe my ties with them. Why did I want to change?Xfinity Mobile doesn’t support Apple PlayThe internet service is very poor outside of California. Traveling cross country I found myself using others hotspot. They don’t offer international connection, must connect via WiFi.And now obvious poor customer service.
Total trash. They cannot explain how we went through all our data in five days when we were working and not even home. Confirmed no one logged into our router and streamed in our place; their staff just talks condescending towards you and thats their version of customer service. If you keep pushing, they cant give you any details or information and just keep transferring you. Finally had someone promise to look into it and give us a call back; do you think we got a call back as promised? No. Meanwhile I have two Nest cameras for watching my babies, one whom is going through a sleep regression and Im losing sleep because I cant run the cameras off my home internet service and I cant see if the baby is ok so I have to go in every two minutes and make sure shes ok, which of course starts the screaming all over again. Been late everyday this week to work. All because Comcast is overcharging us and cant even tell us what theyre charging us for. So one star on customer service, one star on knowing their product, one star on actually doing their jobs.
You Get Xfinity! So does Everyone Else. Duh! Best way to go where the internet is Not Slow! Playing vid Games makes for an Even Flow... Customer service is Great Here, might as well slide a chair up and have beer! Fast Friendly Service Thats quick and Clear! Looking at my HD and not one little Smear! I got Xfinity lets all have a cheer!
Despite what many people say, this particular Comcast location is actually run pretty well. I expected to walk in, wait forever, and get sassed, but it was not long of a wait, and the staff there is pretty friendly. I visited 5 times, and all 5 times with different objectives were pleasant experiences
This is for Comcast Xfinity Placerville. We had new installation at our home and Randy our installer and his boss Jeff were fantastic. Great customer service, were retired and Im dealing with cancer and they worked around a medical emergency, to set up a new TV on a second call back. Thank you for everything.
Had a pretty decent experience here today. Staff was fast and nice.
This place is a joke. Comcast spent some damn money and FIX their instore equipment. Can pay bill not BROKEN DOWN kiosks
Was 13th in line for over an hour. Only two employees and they were both helping with the new mobile phone there needs to be separate counter for phone sign ups and those turning in equipment it took over an hour for a quick trade in
Worst service. Always changed things on my account and charged me more when I would call because my service speed wasn’t testing out to how fast it should’ve been. I’d rather deal with a cheaper price for semi slower service then be charged $100 for just WiFi and it be just as slow as the $40 service.
This place is absurdly awful with some of the worst, most deceitful salesman.. They literally lied to me about my new plan and company policy only to call and have a real rep correct it, credit my account and apologize. THAT could have EASILY been avoided. He should be fired and dealt with appropriately. He goes by Cam by the way. Avoid him like the plague
Fast service both times Ive been
In the past at this locations, the CSRs were awesome and helped with any issue or concern especially with upgrading/downgrading questions come the end of contract. For the last 5 years my roommates and I always preferred to go to this store due to how well we had been treated and our concerns expedited.Yet that all changed mid-December when our contract was up, and we were exploring options including upgrading and we walked into a surprisingly nearly empty store unlike in the past. The male CSR named Mike at the front had the most asinine of attitudes and did not want to help nor couldnt be bothered despite not having any other customers needing assistance. We ended up having to leave the store and contact the 1-800 number to get our concerns remedied. This store is night and day in comparison to other local company stores. I will never go here again after how poorly we were treated. Employees at this store might need some extra customer retention training. Ive seen overworked DMV employees treat customers better than CSR Mike.
The sales reps were very helpful, answered my specific questions and left me with a quicker way to call in. Im still deciding what to do for my internet services.
Comcast IS the best! Great customer service! Very helpful & pleasant staff.
Thank you so much for your kindness when I brought in my remote that our Bulldog got ahold of! You are 10 stars to us :) .
The Internet service is quite good. However, I constantly had problems with quality and reliability for the Cable TV service and Customer service was below average. I switched to Satellite for the TV service.
The agents can be more courteous! They have tendency to raise their voice for no apparent reason.
We had Comcast Xfinity for 6 years. We moved almost 3 years ago,& have been unable to get that service in our new home in the same town. We are not happy, but can’t do anything about it. So, be grateful you have what I can’t get. Marie from Pollock Pines, Ca.
Very helpful staff, but service becomes way too expensive when you delete the premium stations.
Always a quick in and out place to pay my bill at the kiosk.
Our customer service rep was super nice and friendly. We were not pressed into buying anything other then what we came in there for. Also we were in and out of there in about 15mins!
They have everything for tv entertainment.Sports, movies, tv series, etc. All types of cell phones and accessories. Great customer service.
You can get your Comcast-related business done here. Only drawback is that theres usually a long wait. Great location.
The waiting times are over! Comcast has definitely increased their customer service! Not so much their pricing for TV services.
Very expensive basic TV service for very few channels. Anything worth watching is not authorized. Just havent gotten around to switch.
Employees are both friendly and knowledgeable. I dont go in often, but its always a pleasant experience.
I dont like comcast but its the only service that is good in my area. When cling their customer service is horrible. When I went into this store the service was good. Just took forever to talk to someone.
Really great and friendly customer service. We were in and out quickly and felt so much better choosing Xfinity.
I had to return some equiptment for an upgrade and accidently have them the remote for my television, I rushed back and the person that took my old equiptment was already off work buy thought enough to notify the other staff. As soon as I told them the situation they came back with my remote. I give an A+ for truth, and that to me means alot for a bussiness!!!!
Worst customer service ever. Kept adding costs to my bill and I would have to call them, wait, and argue with them to get them to remove extra charges. I think its called bait and switch. I will never purchase anything from xfinity or comcast again. I cancelled service and refuse to pay them a cent more than what I originally agreed to. This is a bully of a company, run away as fast as you can.
Nice store with a friendly, professional staff.
Tec told us he could not hook it up, yet others in our complex have it.. WHY? He said he could not reach reach the cable because he was to big and direct tv had spliced the cable,,,why cant you run another cable?
They are fast, friendly, and efficient! As a fellow customer service representative, I highly appreciate this.
I was in and out real fast. Good customer service.
Employees are always polite and friendly, wait times are short. That said 1 year ago we signed up for the X1 package and have still not gotten internet working. 100 Mb service delivers 3Mb. TV signal failed 3 times so far, had to wait for service all day each time, came at 5pm. Had to take these days off work. Was promised 2 times that needed equipment that was never installed was scheduled the following day, 2 wks and I am heading down there for the 4th time for this issue. Returned box 2 times.
Bill increases every month.Ok when you first start but then they jack the price up big time.
Calling Philippines. Background is distracting loud. Accent very strong.
Love that i can pay my bill with a kiosk its fast and convenient
Horrible!!! Went in to get new boxes and equipment and they brought out all the units cryovac in plastic, I ask them if they were new and he told me they were, when I got home and open them, they looked like they had been dragged behind a truck. two of the boxes didnt work and the one that did had burned out lights on the display.this is the 3rd time they have done this to me, if AT&T had faster internet I would move in a second. I hate comcast and every dealing Ive had with them.Chris T.
Confusing layout - if its busy, and theres a wait, theres no single place to form a line since there are multiple kiosks, so several of us were just milling around. The staff seem friendly enough, but on my last visit, I was told several things, in order to sell me on a particular bundle, that turned out to be untrue and required me to spend hours on the phone later trying to straighten it all out. Also, they didnt properly note on my account that I returned old equipment, so that was another thing to straighten out later.
