Affordable oil change, but the tech said he couldnt figure out how to turn the maintenance light off on YouTube, so youre on your own and also didnt do a tire rotation because they could find the wheel lock key (fun fact as they went through the entire car, inside glove box and all compartments, they should have found it with the spare) They also dented the front bumper, only to say that I cant prove they did it so if I wanted to take it to small claims I could. Bottom line, really just go somewhere else folks

I came here on a Friday morning and there were about customers total in the store. I came here to purchase an octane booster for I got bad fuel at some gas station. I found what I wanted but had to wait for the only two employees to ring people up 15 mins per person instead of opening another register. It doesnt take two people to ring someone up, he wasnt even training. I will not be coming back to this Pep Boys anytime soon.

Don’t go there for anything! They can’t even do an oil change right. I took my truck there to do a simple oil change and a few days later I noticed my truck was leaking oil all over the driveway. They left the oil filter loose and somehow they stripped the oil plug, and to cover this up they put some blue liquid rubber stuff to stop the leak.

I would have a negative rating if they had one. If your a fellow Veteran, AVOID this place at all costs. If you a senior citizen, go here at your own risk! They WILL discriminate. The service manager, Douglas bullied my disabled elderly mom...despicable!!!

First time here and first time restoring 13 year old Scion tC headlights. Paid for a headlight restoration via advertised coupon ($39.99) and was surprised how quickly they serviced the vehicle -- about 20 minutes once car pulled into shop. Wonder if they performed the restoration as written thru their advertised service such as taping off the area around the headlight and sand the surface off, etc..I didnt expect the headlights to be restored as if I just bought a brand new vehicle. Although I was told the whole process would take about 2 hours by another local Pep Boys that I would need to make a formal appointment.Pretty good human interaction with store representatives, but service actually rendered vs. advertised questionable.

Had an appointment for an oil change at 9am showed up at 8:30 to be early. 10am comes around and my car is still where I parked it! Asked for my keys back and drove 8 miles to a valvoline where I was done within 15 minutes of arriving. This was my first time at this location and wish I could give less than 1 star.

You know i hate Part Stores because well they usually always mess up my order and put the blame on me.But, Heres PepBoys.The staff as of 10/26/2020 is one of the most helpful and friendliest staff that i had ever dealt with. They are truly looking out for the customer and have a helpful team.Would recommend.

I am a DGS fleet customer and made an appointment for 9/25/20 at 9:00 am. for an oil change and inspect the tires. There was no mention of a wait time and no customers in the service area. I waited until 1249 and contacted them for an update. The service manager put me on hold for 10 minutes and I hung up and called again. Spoke to the service manager again and he said he would call me right back. After another hour, I called him back. He said he hadn’t started on my vehicle!! He apologized and said he couldn’t guarantee when it would be finished! Oil change and tire inspection?? CAUTION: DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!

This place is awesome, first off at another tire store they claimed that we needed all four tires replace and also an alignment, went here today saying we only needed the front ones replaced with no alignment needed. I would rather be at a place where they do not lie to their customers for more money. Thank you for being honest hard-working people.

The website is the hardest to navigate Thur and I see no point on asking what car do I have because the website dose not narrow it down to only the parts for my car it is general for example I input my car’s details and then went to the search bar type pcv valve and it brings up all the pcv valve that they have for every other car except mine I scrolled Thur 3 pages just to find not one of them is for my car this was a waste of time. It is better off to go to another parts store then this one

Went to this pep boys a while ago to get my coolant system checked. I did leave some expense sunglasses in the car as it was not sunny that day. When I got the car back I checked the next day and sunglasses were gone. Do not recommendFollow up 9/2020: was getting emails through corporation and was told to speak with the locations managerWhen I explained the situation the manager was very rude and not concerned states “so what do you want me to do about it?” After, I was done not going to give my business to pep boys again. Just wanted a refund for something that shouldn’t be touched in customers cars

Honestly I dont come here very often because its so far from home, but I will say this for this specific Pep Boys they always have the part Im looking for. They also have a tired center which most auto part stores dont have much anymore. Customer service is wonderful in all areas, from the parts department to the cashiers. Definitely a great auto parts store to check out....

Brought my car in for a oil change and tire rotation that is covered by my lease...after waiting over an hour I asked about my vehicle and am told it is still in line to be done.. I go outside and wait while my vehicle is in sight for almost another hour until I receive a call that the car is done, and am told that they cannot rotate the tires due to the treads being less than 2/32 as if I dont know measurements....I have over 3/16 of tread left on all tires...

Not sure if its poor management or whats going on, Pep boys seem to be dropping the ball lately, I ordered two parts that was supposed to be there that day at 5pm and they finally got only one part 3days later.Its important I get parts on time my customers are depending on me, I cant depend on Pep Boys anymore.

I called at 4:45pm to ask if I had time to have an oil change completed. I was told I could drop off and pick up my car at 7pm. When I arrived I was told there was only one mechanic. That I could drop off my car and return to pick up the next day. I asked why I was given different information on the phone and the service attendant just rudely shrugged his shoulders at me. I will find other businesses than Pep Boys for my future car needs.

Went today to get a sunshade for my chevy 2020 rstYpon walking in was great and asked if i needed help with anything i told the clerk what i was looking for and he walked me over to the display. As other associates walked by all asked if i needed help .it was slow in the retail area the service center seemed busy.Was a good experience as always is good to be a valued customer in todays market place .

Bad customer service. Place online order and proceed to the store to pickup the items. The lady at the counter, looks like it was really bother by having to deal with me. Tried to make a conversation but she just shut me off, remain quiet the rest of the time there.Another employee arrived and again I tried to make conversation and he just plain ignored me.Been going to this store for 3 years now, and just yesterday I stop going, I tried Auto zone at Sierra lakes and have a very friendly service, I guess I am going to Auto zone now.

Frustrating day! Made an appointment yesterday for 9:00 appointment today. Arrived today and 8:59 and waited in service line for 20 to 25 minutes. When at the counter Freddie said we were late for our appointment!! At first I thought he was joking but than found myself having to give him details of how we were waiting outside for them to unlock the door and how we were in line waiting for service so which made me feel we had to defend ourselves!! No apology from him for the wait (although the other service person apologized to us while we were waiting). Our appointment was for a Managers special which was oil change, tire rotation and 20 point check. He just wrote Oil Change on the paperwork. He said it would take about an hour. We left and then came back. Car was on the rack but they were hovering around it because they broke off 2 lug nuts. They said whomever worked on the car last cross threaded which caused the breakage, but they were the ones who worked on it last which was March of last year!! They charged me for parts but waived the labor which I wasnt too happy about but agreed to. Then 2 more hours later Freddie called saying the axle was broken and that we needed a new axle (he had also said we needed new front brakes). That is when I told him that every time I bring my car to them there is always something additionally wrong that needs to be taken care of and I get charged more and more! I can take my car to my other mechanic (who is not open on Sunday unfortunately) and he will look the car over and suggest what may need to be taken care of, but I get quick reliable service. When the car was eventually ready, Freddie said they would comp the axle and labor which I appreciate, but when I picked up the car and the guy asked how my day was I did let him know that from the get go it was not a good experience and this is why I usually do not go to Pep Boys anymore. The mechanic Mason came out to explain the situation with the axel which I appreciate, but I am still just kicking myself for taking my car there in the first place!! They were short handed, but wouldnt their policy of making appointments the day before let them know they need more mechanics on deck? Otherwise what is the point of making an appointment? I know Pep Boys has been under investigation before. Maybe someone needs to check this place out.

Came to get an alignment, they took my car in and did all the work. Once they were finish, they told me my car had frame damage and that they couldnt do the alignment. I had gotten into a minor fender bender like 2 months prior but nothing major. They still charged me when they didnt do nothing. Next day went to two different mechanics and they confirmed there was no frame damage. Got my alignment done at a different place. Wasted my money at pepboys and never ever coming back. Dont go here unless you want to waste your money

If I could give a zero I would. We were served fine first by an employee who tested the battery for us than someone who claimed to be the manager stepped in. So rude and downright disrespectable. I hope he gets fired, seriously. We took our business elsewhere. I dont think Ill ever go back to a pep boys again.

Had to make an emergency repair to my car, so I pulled over and found this pepboys. I walked in and immediately was greeted by Rochelle. Im sure she could see it in my face that I needed help. I called the store in advance to make sure that I could get my truck serviced and not have to wait. Jose informed me that it would not be a problem and to bring it in. I literally got there in under 20 minutes, yet upon my arrival, Jose told me that his technicians were going to lunch and it would be an hour before they would begin servicing my vehicle. To say the least, I was not happy since he had just told me that it would not be a problem to get my truck immediately serviced. All Jose had to do was tell me about the wait and I would have brought my truck in another day or time. Or perhaps he should have done a more thorough job checking with the technicians. I will not be going back to the Pep Boys in Fontana again with this kind of poor customer service. And I will definitely be sharing my experience with others and suggesting that they not go to Pep Boys in Fontana.

General Auto Parts store. The stagg are very knowledgeable. I have never been abd they dont have something..often visited by my husband and but even when I go alone with instructions from the bunny they have never tried to take advantage of the lost wife. I traveled from AZ to CA when I got to my destination my hubby and I noticed water leaking from the bottom of the car. When he diagnosed my car we scheduled a tow truck to take it to get repairs, my 1st choice of course was the dealer but bcuz it was late on Friday, I had no choice but Pep Boys. Long story short it was taken to P.B. in Fontana, they kept it over the weekend and by Monday afternoon I was heading back home. I was so lucky to have had a professional technician work on my car. Its now been close to 2 months that the work was done and its running prefect! Thanks Pep Boys!

Hi my name is TONY VARGAS Im a PROUD NAVY VETERAN. We went to this PEPBOYS for some battery related parts. One of the sales associate who helped us. Not only was he very friendly and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to help us. We wanted to paint over some scratches on the car. We needed the paint that matches our car. So when he asked us for the number that tells you the code that identifys the paint which matches our car. We didnt know it or where to look. He said dont worry lets go to the car and Ill show you where its located. That was very nice of him to do. We got the right paint and where out of there fairly quickly thanks to David. So if anyone goes to this PEPBOYS, be sure to ask for DAVID. When people know Im a NAVY VETERAN, they say thank you for your service. Set up an appointment to get my car inspected for Lyft for a Saturday at 9 a.m. and once I came in to do the inspection they told me they dont inspct cars on the weekend,why would the Lyft set up an appointment and send me to you guys on a Saturday if you guys dont inspect on weekends you guys should really look into that cause I just wasted my time coming here for nothing,I just dont want others to waste their time either

This pepboys cant do alignments, took my car there twice and they werent able to do it. Went to another pepboys and they took care of business. So either the equipment there sucks or the workers are lazy, both times i went were close to close hours maybe thats why they didnt want to do it.

I used to change oil there monthly but today was my last time !They raised the amount $10 for no reason than Everytime I pay and the employee trying to convince me that I was taking discount in all my last 8 times !And he told me this is what we have do you wanna do it or no !Am rreallyshocked of how they are showing if an attitude suddenly ..the other staff in the morning was nicly and charge us different which is I dont know how till nowVery inconvenient !

I had a horrible experience.. I went into the store simply asking for spark plugs for my 04 cavalier. Instead of being helped, the guy tells me that my cables & wires are messed upand that I needed to bring in my car. He would not show me the sparkplugs I asked for, but only gave detail to how my car needed to be serviced. I left in the middle of conversation because my car does not use any sparkplug cables. He didnt even know!

I got a flat tire at 7pm, AND the temporary blew less than mile after putting it on. I have work tomorrow and no time to replace the tire and my job relies on my car. AAA towed us to this pepboys and arrived last minute only to see Josue, assistant service manager come out and fill out our forms to get our tires replaced tonight! Jose replaced both our tires and they took care of us tonight and helped us out hugely when other places just ignored the phone. Thank you guys, we will be back here for whatever we need done and pass the word about.

They mest up my hood and didnt want to pay for it. They changed my battery and the side that the battery was on was lifted about 2inches. After a couple of months of calling back and forth.
