Great high quality work. I got and engine rebuilt here and they did a great job!

Its time to retire, worst and most expensive experience with an engine in my life. Had to bring it back at least a half a dozen times, last time blow up into the first pull on the dyno, no one torqued rods one and two. I will say Gene helped make it right $$$ but it still cost me 3K, Gene has a great reputation. Unfortunately I did not see any of that with my engine work....no attention to detail. The problem to much work not enough experienced help. My advice if your building a high dollar race motor Do Not Bring It There. If you need your lawn mower engine done take it there. Gene Super Nice Guy. But its time to be at the cabin.

This place sucks!!!!Had a shortblock machined and assembled here. price was fair but during the break in oil change two oil sprayers had fallen out due to improper tourqueing/not using thread lock.Weight matched wiseco Pistons, eagle rods and cylinder wall were damaged.He replaced the sprayers, honed the block, but SANDED THE SCRATCHES OUT OF THE PISTONS!!!!! He also tried to weasel out of buying new rod and main bearings after he had taken the block apart.He reassembled the block and gave it back. apon first start it smoked bad from burning oil. I gave it a week still smoked and had low compression in every cylinder!! So that tells me he put the old rings back in a freshly honed block. Any engine builder knows you CANNOT REUSE PISTON RINGS!!!!!Don’t bring your project here to be destroyedAnd defiantly don’t pay to get it destroyed!!!!!
