Its my habit to get competing estimates from auto repair shops when faced with a repair that I know is going to cost a lot of money. Performance Tune has won my last three estimation contests - by not only coming in at the lowest price, but also providing full and detailed explanations about what needs to be done and what various repair options are. They are trustworthy, professional, and thorough. At this point, I will no longer worry about getting competing estimates. I have an 07 Saturn Vue that recently shredded the serpentine belt. The diagnosis was a locked up A/C compressor that to replace, would have cost way too much. I brainstormed with Pat and we discussed the idea of finding a shorter belt that could possibly bypass the compressor or at worse, remove the compressor (the a/c hadnt worked in several years) entirely. Pat and the crew put their heads together and found a suitable belt that could bypass the compressor. The car runs great and it saved me a bunch of unnecessary expense! Thanks Pat.

I was extremely disappointed with all aspects of this shop. I had scheduled an oil change and brake inspection that was quoted at $116. I took my car in and when I came to pick it up the quote had changed to $133 so I asked why it was changed and I was told that they had to use more oil than expected, which makes no sense because I’ve gotten a full oil change before there and they had no problem looking up the correct amount of oil before. I took my car home to my sister’s house (which is only 5 minutes away) and her husband, who is also a mechanic, decided to check out my car because it was leaking oil by the time I got home and he found that they didn’t even change the oil filter, the oil was still dirty, and the drain plug was leaking. They hadn’t even wiped anything off. When my sister called the next day to explain the situation and ask how they were going to fix this, the girl at the front desk immediately gave her attitude and tried to argue with her and then she handed the phone to another front desk worker, named Jordan, who told her she didn’t know what she was talking about and that he should probably just talk to her husband, which was extremely sexist. And then when her a husband called, Jordan told him he was holding my old oil filter in his hand even though he’s not a mechanic and didn’t even touch my car. He then also refused to let him speak to the mechanic who actually worked on my car. Oh! They also tried to charge me over $1000 to just change my front breaks (rotors, pads, calipers, and brake fluid flush) when I was able to get the parts for only $200 and my calipers were completely fine! This was honestly some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I would not trust them with your vehicle at all. They will overcharge you and lie about what they did to your vehicle.

I had driveline issues in my 2001 Cummins and they not only took care of it but I provided with a listing of the services my truck needed prices so I could decide what to fix first. I was also able to get a ride to and from my house while they worked on my truck for a few days. Their diesel mechanic is highly certified and did a great job for me.

I met the owner (Pat) through a networking group and decided to give them a try when my car needed an oil change. Friendly, fast and saved me at least $20 off what I usually pay for oil changes! Its close to where I work, less expensive and quality service makes me a customer for life!

I needed a clutch replacement. Performance did a good job. Issue came up post repair around the clutch. Pat and his team worked to fix the issue and he did a great job explaining what the issue was and how it needed fixing. I appreciate Pat and his crew. They are knowledgeable and do a great job.

These guys are definitely my new go-to! I initially decided to go there because the place where I purchased my pre-owned Jeep Cherokee (Crossroads Hyundai) had failed to fix a lurching/jerking problem with my Jeep on numerous occasions since December. Google told me these guys know something about Jeeps...From the first moment I called, I was greeted with kindness and professionalism. The shop was closing soon, but I was assured that someone would be there to not only take in my Jeep, but also give me a ride back home--the owner himself drove me.The initial repair was done quickly and I was able to pick up my Jeep the very next day. Though the problem was not ultimately resolved by this fix, I would still recommend them 10/10 times. Why? Because, after I told them that the issue was still happening, they told me to bring the vehicle back in, free of charge, so they could diagnose it. They found that the issue was actually within the engine and did the warranty research for me! The warranty would not allow their shop to perform the engine repair, but they were more than happy to direct me to a place that they trusted to get the job done.I will ABSOLUTELY be back to Performance Tune Auto Repair for all of my vehicle issues moving forward. These guys there are kind, professional, funny, generous, down-to-earth, HONEST folks and, even though my vehicle was not ultimately repaired at their shop, I definitely trust them with any vehicles I have moving forward.Thank you, Pat, Jeff and Dane, for everything!

I brought my car in with very little notice to diagnose a check engine light and a limp mode condition (after a bad battery jump /advice by a roadside assistance professional). In a little under 24 hours they had diagnosed my problem and had completed the fix (replace blown fuses/new battery). Did not over charge for the diagnostic or repair. Professional, courteous and very helpful. Will be back again, (especially as its within walking distance of my home!)

I went here for the first time about a year ago (? I have no sense of time) for an oil change. I was on the hunt for a new mechanic. My car has needed 3 major (major to me and to my bank account) repairs since then. 1. I had an electrical issue with a headlight that needed rewiring. 2. A throttle issue in the winter that my traction control triggered while driving (my explanation. take it how you want) they cleaned the throttle body and replaced my battery, my car was fine. 3. They just replaced the throttle assembly about a week ago and my car is running great. I have also been there for oil changes in between repairs, they never try to up sale me or pressure me to get things fixed or changed on my car. They are always professional and their updates are timely and informative. They keep track of any potential issues they see and we can always revisit them when I’m there the next time. They are great, I feel like they truly care about my car and aren’t looking for money. My car was finished a whole day earlier than expected in the 3rd repair. I will continue to take my car here and I will refer my friends and family. I found my mechanic.

Manager refusing to wear a mask during a pandemic - enough said!EDIT: I was there the other day when he was with a customer who had on a mask and she asked why he wasnt wearing his and he said because were both vaccinated, I guess he doesnt realize the vaccine doesnt prevent you 100% from getting covid, you can still get and carry it even fully vaxed, it keeps you from getting terribly sick and dying . He put himself and the other customer at risk and they could take covid home and spread it to un vaccinated members of their families. So I figured if he is too stupid to realize that then he isnt smart enough to work on my car, and I left and went elsewhere! The old manager guy was better!

I have taken my 1995 Ford F150 to Performance Tune twice in the last 4 months and they have been phenomenal! I had given my 2016 Honda Accord for regular service since I was tired going to the over-charging dealer in town. These guys got it done like clock-work! Immediately after scheduling my call, I got a text/email regarding the estimate and once I dropped off the car, I got it back in a couple of hours. I was traveling through fort Collins on my way to Utah, when I noticed a leak under my vehicle. I gave performance tune auto repair a phone call and asked if there was any way I could get my vehicle in to be checked out before continuing to trip. They said bring it in and they would get it looked at first thing in the morning, once I brought it in I was greeted by Jeff and Pat, both very professional and took my concerns seriously. The next morning confirmed my fears that there was leaked but actually found more repairs that were needed. I thought that their quotes were reasonable and fair. I was impressed with the high-quality work ethic and the time they put into answering questions and concerns I had.They took time to answer all of those questions as well as making sure that my vehicle was ready for the road.

Absolutely wonderful experience today at this location!! I would like to personally thank Jeff, Rick, and Kyle for their work and professionalism. I could tell that they really cared about me, my safety and the health of my vehicle. I took my new used vehicle in for their very reasonably priced spring maintenance special and Jeff took the time to talk with me about the history of my specific vehicle and general facts about the model. They even helped me diagnose an odd sound coming from my exhaust system and personally showed me what the issue was. Completely satisfied, I will be back!!

Friendly and quick, but very expensive. We paid $37 to have a tail light changed and I already had the bulb.

We have taken all of our vehicles to Performance Tune for several years now and have never been disappointed. Pat and his team are not only friendly and hospitable, they dont pressure you at all. They have started a great new system which sends an update to your phone giving you the time to read about what the recommended maintenance repairs are, what the price will be, and how soon that repair should happen, before you give them the go ahead on anything. As a woman, I have often felt talked down to or oversold on repairs at other shops in the past, but Performance Tune has been nothing but honest, respectful, and fair. I refer them to everyone I know!

I was able to get my car inspected and fixed within 24 hours of calling and everything was completely free of charge. Pat offered great customer service and even brought me back to my place while the car was being worked on. Definitely my best experience with an auto repair shop!

We had an RV mishap at a gas station near Horsetooth Reservoir. We couldn’t drive without removing some of the damage from our vehicle, so we’re stranded there . Pat drove out personally with a ladder and figured out how to make our RV safe to drive. He quickly removed the damaged parts. Then he stuck around to help us stow the damaged parts. Throughout the experience. he was amazingly professional and helpful. He even helped cheer up the kids, who were a little shaken up by the accident. Fantastic service from start to finish. We can’t recommend Performance Tuning highly enough.

Throughout the process, the staff were communicative, respectful, friendly, and completely transparent and upfront about their costs. I really appreciate these guys. They did a great job replacing the tie-rods on my Subaru at a reasonable price. And, when I told them I thought my battery cables needed replacing, they DIDNT, stating that mine seemed to be just fine and only needed to be cleaned up (saving me an unnecessary cost). I asked Pat to replace the timing belt, plugs, and a number of radiator hoses on my wife’s 03 Lexus. It was more work than I was willing to do at home. The work was performed in a very professional and timely manner, And at a very fair price. I have also recommended a number of friends to Pat’s shop and I am pleased to hear back from them that they were also treated well. This is my go to shop.

I recently bought a 2001 duramax that had been serviced at performance tune by the original owner. I decided to book an inspection appointment on the truck to see what I thought of the shop. I was expecting to be handed a long list of needed repairs and recommended services, but was very surprised when I picked the truck up. They told me the truck was in excellent condition and needed absolutely nothing, I was very happy !!! The staff was very friendly and motivated to get me in and out of their shop in a timely manner. performance tune is highly recommended from my standpoint with their quick and respectful staff and services !!!

My name is Julie Paproski. If I could rate 10 stars I would. This company is the epitome of honesty, integrity and character. I took my 2017 car in for new brakes. Although I only had 33,000 miles or so on it, the front brakes were sounding and feeling horrible!! I was totally prepared to pay what I thought would be $800-$1000 for new brakes. Well they called me and gave me the bad news; I needed brakes, rotors and calipers!!! I gasped a little, but the tech told me they did some research, they took it to the dealer I bought it from and got all the work done under warranty!!! Plus, they wouldnt take any payment from me for their efforts. They could have told me it was under warranty and I would have to go through the dealer; but they did all of that for me!! Thats what you call service!! Pat and his crew are the best, they will be our go-to auto repair shop from now on!! Thanks guys!

He even denied doing some work on my truck because it was in decent condition and did not need replacing, even though I suggested it. He gently refused business because it would cost me more money. The next reason is because my friend had a Chinese scooter and had to take one bolt off with an air wrench. He called dozens of shops and no one would even take money to help him get one bolt off. Performance Tune offered to help him for free, as well as they sourced the other parts of his scooter that ended up failing later. The last reason I will share is that Performance Tune has supported many car and truck groups I am involved in and even let us use their parking lots for gatherings. Just ask for Pat, the owner, and he will genuinely give you the best service he knows how.

The technician was available at the appointment time. The work was done early, for the estimate price and the entire staff was polite, friendly and professional! Will be back, count on it.

Took my 2011 Hyundai Elantra in for consistent and loud engine pinging. After a day, they Pat and the mechanic were honest in that they didnt really know what the issue was but recommended a $2,400 timing belt--which I took because they said it might help. It did not. That same afternoon after picking up the car, I googled 2011 Hyundai Elantra engine pinging and bingo! Found the problem, verified by Crossroads dealership later, and a lawsuit. At 92k miles, a new engine at $8,000 recommended. Why couldnt the mechanics at Performance Tune have googled? I felt ripped off and taken advantage.
