Poudre Auto Repair was recommended to me by a well-known auto mechanic with a shop in Fort Collins, who only works on foreign vehicles.I took my daughters (CSU Student) small Ford sedan for service: Brakes, engine warning light, and oil change.They also informed of a rear shock absorber, which was failing (leaking oil). In addition to the above service, I requested they replace the one shock, because I replaced the other-side a few years back when it went bad. Poudre Auto Repair was the only auto repair shop in town that would say Okay to just replacing just the one shock, which I greatly appreciated (due to being on a budget). All the work was done, to my satisfaction, in the one day and an explanation of these services were mentioned without my asking (again appreciated).Poudre Auto Repair is located on Link Ln. Just look for the NAPA Auto Parts Store, and you will see them on the East end of the driveway.I recommend Poudre Auto Repair to friends and family.

These guys did an amazing job on my OBS 7.3, Baby swamps, IDM, and upgraded turbo. They were honest and diagnosed my original problem quickly and correctly. My pickup runs like a dream now. Colin and Barry are awesome. I will recommend everyone with diesels to these guys.

Really a top notch shop. Poudre was recommended by a friend and now I understand why they have such a loyal customer base. While my Volkswagen isnt a high-end Porsche or BMW Poudre Auto Repair is clearly the best shop to bring any European car. (The shop was filled with some amazing autos when I walked back to discuss and review the work needed on my VW) Ive brought my car here twice now and I cant say enough about how thorough and honest these guys are. BTW I drive up from Golden to Fort Collins to have my car worked on here.

This is a family shop, Barry the owner and mechanic is straight up a good ole boy. He works very hard for every dollar he earns, Barry has replaced my transmission in my GMC Yukon XL and every other thing that has needed fixed, shock air bags, fixed leaks in my dads pick up that is now mineand has worked on my european vw, all of my kids cars. You will get an honest and fair quote for your repair. You just found your personal mechanic that you have been looking for, your welcome!
