Last evening (October 5th) my wife Barbie and I spent our anniversary evening dining at Cafe Vino in Ft. Collins, Colorado. Three years ago we were married there in the room to the left as you walk in the front door. It was amazing then and was amazing again last evening. Owners Richard and Jennifer and managers Mark and Darin and all the staff there were so friendly and accommodating, and made the evening so special for us. They even let me come in a few hours early to set up the table by the fireplace and kept it reserved for us.The food was outta this world amazing. You have to try their Spinach Mushroom Truffle Pizza (a favorite of my wife, and now mine too) and their Cafe Vino Salad was so delicious. We finished dinner with a Toffee Date Cake with Coconut Ice Cream. The food was fantastic.Thank you so much everyone for your wonderful and gracious hospitality! I dont think there was a single staff member that didnt come by our table and say happy anniversary during our evening. You all made our anniversary one to remember! On August 27th we had dinner at Cafe Vino, what a treat! We started with the bacon wrapped dates, if youve never tried them you should. We were both going to have the lamb although the chef, Ryan Smith, came out to greet us and suggested to also try the ravioli and pork belly. Oh my goodness my mouth was doing a happy dance! We shared bites from each others plates, the lamb melted in my mouth exploding with flavor. Honestly, it was the best meal Ive had since I moved here from Maui 3.5 years ago and I typically go out to eat between 1 to 4 times a week. Ryan came back out to ask about our meal, we both toasted him with our wine. Desert was excellent as well. The best dining experience, thank you Cafe Vino for a memorable evening!

Cafe Vino was our go to place before COVID and we were excited to go back. I was disappointed on how limited they made their new food and cocktail menu. One of the great items were their pizzas and now they have one. Their wine menu is still wonderful with a lot of great wine to choose from, just no food menu to support it. The food and service was still good. Im hoping they will change the menu out more often or increase it.

Saw “Prime Rib” lit up on a sign outside and was drawn in. I was pleasantly surprised by the interior. It was clean, modern, and inviting. Incredibly friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. Chef Ryan Smith, I’m told, was evidently brought in as part of, or around the time of, a remodel of the space around the end of quarantine. I never experienced the previous menu, but tonight the food was on point. The homemade burrata was delicate, fresh, and creamy and came accompanied by heirloom tomatoes, a unique peach and apple gelatin, micro greens, an infused oil of some kind, and finished off with balsamic pearls that added a fun texture to the dish.As, I said, the flashing “prime rib” sign drew me in(this is not the type of restaurant that has a flashing neon sign in front of it, don’t be deterred), but they had a bone marrow burger special served topped with crisp onions, white cheddar, and spring greens, and accompanied by confit potatoes, and a pickled salad. The burger was decadent to say the least, almost creamy, and the acidity of the pickled salad contrasted this nicely.I will definitely be back again, there was a pork belly ricotta ravioli dish that sounded out of this world. Horay for a good restaurant in Fort Collins!Decent wine selection, saw some nice bottles in the fridge behind the bar not mentioned on the wine list. if you’re looking for something special def ask about this stock.

As a Chef I appreciate and I am critical of restaurants and their food especially if my friends are the Chefs. However, Chef Ryan and his staff are on point. Richard the owner has reinvented this restaurant and staffed it well providing a great combination of food, wine, and hospitality. I highly recommend a visit.

My partner and I just visited Cafe Vino for our anniversary. I let them know a head of time that it was a special occasion and from the moment we walked in the doors the staff went above and beyond to make our evening perfect.We were greeted by the hosts up front with warm congratulations and we were immediately placed at a more private, romantic table towards the back. Our server Josh also offered us a congratulations and was so affable and wonderful throughout our dinner. He made perfect suggestions regarding wine and dessert and he really enhanced our dining experience. At the end of our meal we were able to speak with the GM and he was so personable and charming.I was disappointed when Cafe Vino had to temporarily close due to Covid but I’ve been frequenting this establishment for over ten years and I’m happy to say they are back and better than ever. I’m so happy we came here to celebrate our special night!

Treated a friend for belated birthday meal. We went at happy hour and decided to do a shared 3 appetizer meal and red wine. Service was as excellent as the food!

Great food, great service, a little pricey for the market, but will be back.

I am so happy to have found this wonderful restaurant. I thought it was new but it is an established Fort Collins restaurant that has reopened after an extensive remodeling.The new decor is elegant yet very comfortable.Nothing, however, surpasses the fabulous food. I have been three times since they reopened and will return next week.Treat yourself & go.

This is a lovely restaurant with an upscale feel. The food presentations were beautiful. Everything was delicious, but portions were small.

COVID-19 conscious site. We dined on the patio but dine in was also available although setup for social distancing. Our server was great, he communicated well and stopped by our table adequately, he was also well versed in the method the food was prepared,the chef would be proud of him. The food was delicious and well presented. I had my 4 year old and we shared plates and they were sizable portions. I will definitely visit again. Oh and yes the bacon wrapped dates are scrumptious.

Pretty pricey but service was friendly, and food was good. We decided to do a sort of tapas approach and ordered a bunch of things for the table. We got the Artisan Cheese Board (with 3 added meats), side of veggie chips (which turned out to just be those Terra chips you can get at the grocery store), Gorgonzola Pear Ravioli, Bacon-wrapped Dates, and the Seasonal Signature Salad. Everything was delicious! They have a beautifully appointed inside with rooms for large groups and events, and a really nice outside dining space too.

The food and service was good. We enjoyed it. The atmosphere of the place was nice as well. The only down side was the portion size and the price. I think we could have larger portions for that price.

We had the best meal at Cafe Vino tonight! Everything beginning to end was on point. Service was exemplary and food was 5 stars. The lamb Osso Bucco meltedIn your mouth and the triangle potato side dish was a great compliment to the meal. I cleanedMy plate before I remembered to take a photo.

By far one of THE BEST dinners we have ever had. We started with the veno meatballs, the marinara was spectacular. I had the pork belly ravioli and was not disappointed. My wife had the lamb osso buco and that was fall off the bone fire! Unbelievable. Then ended the night with the campfire smores, carrot cheesecake, and date cake, and Im telling you all were absolutely amazing. If you havent been here then make it a point to experience one of the best places we have dined at. Thank you to Chef Ryan, and the entire kitchen/dinning staff for making our night one to remember.

Best restaurant in Fort Collins hands down. The ambiance is amazing, servers very attentive, food is quick and delicious. Below we have a picture of beef tartar, delicately served, perfect temperature. Also had bacon wrapped dates, and mushroom pate. Not pictured was the gorgonzola pear ravioli and scallops, which were pretty salty, but still well above average.

Our food and desserts were amazing. The Banana Bourbon Bread is swoonworthy! Our server, Zach, was wonderful and gracious.

I love Cafe Vino for the food, beautiful patio and yummy cocktails. I just wish they would stop serving plastic, disposable straws and plastic drink stirrers. Bamboo stirrers and either reusable stainless steel/glass/bamboo or 100% paper straws would be much more sustainable!💚

Small menu for a place that serves different items for lunch and dinner, with some gluten free options available for the pizza. Cool patio but passing cars make it a bit loud. Could definitely improve, four was generous

This is my wife and my favorite restaurant in Fort Collins. It is amazing that their dinner service runs to midnight for the extended date night or a late dessert run. Recently order the cold smoked salmon and it was beautifully pairs with a horseradish cream sauce. All the the shareables come in multiple sizes so you can order to fit your groups needs. The carrot cake was the most delicious end to an amazing dinner. This place has always provided an amazing culinary experience.

We had a lovely dinner on the patio. Enjoyed the wine flight option and the bacon wrapped dates were a pleasant and flavorful surprise. Our waiter (Tom, I think) was the best I’ve had so far during our visit to FOCO. I will be back.

Classiest restaurant in Fort Collins. Always an intimate affair, weve never had to wait more than a minute or two for a table. Their wine selection is extensive and flights are always thoughtfully curated. Beer selection is arguably just as thoughtful. Food menu hasnt changed much over the last few years, but thats no bad thing. Ahi tuna and sticky buns are highlights of a consistently delicious lineup. Patio is one of the best in town too, with front row seats to the absolutely adorable spectacle that is College Ave cruisers on Friday and Saturday nights. Keep reaching for the stars, boys!

Every single time this place is amazing. From the wine selection to desert, I am blown away by every portion of my meal. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Have been here several times and have always had a good experience. The location feels secluded and cozy. The food is great and the drinks are also pretty decent. The service has been consistently good each time we have been here. Get the carrot cake. Trust me.

Not a wine drinker. They have 20 (?) great beers on tap! Have never had a bad dish here and have ordered many off their large menu. Delicious. More upmarket than we are (or dress), but they let us in regardless and treat us like family.

Even in CovidLand some of my favorite places have stuck around, integrated a safe setup, and stayed amazing. Cafe Vino is exactly that! Like everywhere they have a smaller menu than before, but what they have is still amazing.

Great menu options. Ill have to visit here more so I can try all the food! The atmosphere and decor is beautiful and fancy but still warm and inviting. The staff was friendly and seemed happy to be there. Service was quick. I had cheesecake for dessert, YUM! The prices are higher here but the environment and every bite and sip are worth it.

Cafe Vino was perfectly wonderful. Pizzas were varied and among the best I have ever eaten--we shared, so got to try four different toppings. Ambience beautiful, not hurried, staff very professional. They were even at the door with my purse which I forgot in my hurry to get to the CSU Arts Center. Good location for meeting before or after a show.

Cafe Vino is a favorite of ours. The food is consistently excellent and the vibe is great. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. My only complaint is it seems the kitchen is getting slower, and slower each time we visit. My advice: plan for an extra glass of wine, and dont go if youre in a rush. ♥️

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING DINNER!!! The best Pork Chop Ive ever had in my life and the 3 people dining with me said the same thing! I ordered the Sakura Pork Chop and it was out of this world! The service is AMAZING, the atmosphere is cozy and I was so impressed with the food! We will definitely be making Cafe Vino a weekly ritual!!!!

An interesting and inventive menu, with dishes that are well-prepared and presented. The rooms are inviting and comfortable. Service is attentive but not intrusive. Good selection of wines and mixed drinks. Worth stopping by.

Happy hour menu was surprisingly disappointing and deals are only honored if sitting at the bar. Amount of wine options was impressive yet priced unreasonably high. The beer flight option for $7.50 wasnt a bad deal but the beers I chose were served uncharacteristically flat. Chill atmosphere with a fireplace and comfortable seating.

Nice place. Friendly. High-end food n drink menu at reasonable prices. Try the pizza or Sicilian wrap. Close parking but watch the signage carefully or Maps your way into the lot your first time in.

We have been coming to Cafe Vino for a few years now. We had our Rehearsal dinner there in there banquet room- absolutely incredible food and service for such a special evening. We have our anniversary dinner there, and always bring friends to enjoy that visit us from out of town.This past New Years Eve we had a dinner reservation for about 10 people, including 2 kids and a baby along with some friends from out of town. Will was our server and he is THE BEST EVER. He took such good care of us even though it was a busy evening of celebration. Not only was the food delicious, but Will was amazing. Good service in this town is hard to come by. Will stands out with his calm, friendly demeanor and attentiveness. He had wonderful suggestions for champagne and wine, and always had our drinks filled and our table cleared. We left with our bellies and souls happy as we rang in the New Year. We look forward to our next visit and sitting at his table in the near future!

Went in for a brunch and was totally blown away! Their baked goods are amazing! Bottomless mimosas were dangerous, so good! The place was relaxing, very refreshing for Ft Collins, and the staff was great! Will definitely be back again soon.

My absolute favorite lunch in Fort Collins. I adore the Cafe Vino House Salad. I have it every single time I dine here and that’s been over 10 years! The mussels, tapas, pizzas are fabulous, as well. In fact, a friend said to me this week “Should we go to Cafe Vino for your favorite salad”? Yes please!

This place never disappoints, i have lived in Colorado since 2008 and never gave it a shot until recently. I have a great appreciation for homemade desserts that aren’t frozen. It’s little things like this that make a wine/dessert place for me. The carrot cake was the best and the drinks were completely worth the money. I’m now a frequent visitor at least every other weekend.

Menu offerings are delicious and creative. I found the staff to be extremely helpful and detail oriented. We had our company holiday party here and would do it again.

Cafe Vino is amazing! They have some of the best Italian food in town. The atmosphere cool, and romantic. The service is exceptional and of course the food is delicious! My food is always hot, the drinks are always full and strong and the bartenders are very tentative and never make you wait for a refill. I love this place and highly recommend it!

A wonderful spot. The decor was beautiful, enjoyed the atmosphere on the patio and it was a great location to do a medium sized group get together. The service and atmosphere were great. I didnt snag any food on this trip, but I will be making a trip back in the future to do so.

My husband and I love Cafe Vino. Its our go to spot for special occasions. Their brunch is great as well as their regular menu. Ive never come away disappointed in the food or drinks. The service is top notch too. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Solid vibe. Some meals are 10/10 while some are 4/10. Would recommend you come with a group whose willing to share and youll be fine.Would rate 7/10 probably closer to a 6 than a 8 but definitely a 7.

I have been here several times since moving to Fort Collins and the food and service is always amazing. So far the salmon has been my favorite, and I always try a new wine each time. The atmosphere is very relaxed and upscale. Its a great excuse to get dressed up and have a nice meal out.

Flavorful, fresh, made to order style food. The Potato soup had actual chunks of fresh cooked potatoes and the Quiche was light, airy, and had the perfect crust. A definite revisit restaurant

The presentation of the food was spot on. I love the details of little things like mouthwash in the bathroom and they even have a discrete way to alert them if something needs tidying up I found clever. The salad I had was delightful.

Very nice place to take a romantic interest. Good lighting, nice environment, very accommodating staff. The food is delicious, locally sources, and some of the dishes are really unique. Their drink list is extensive and offers whatever you could possibly want. The desserts are top notch too. If your willing to pay 100$ for two, you cant go wrong.

So this is actually the third time Ive brunched at cafe vino and the consistency of the food and customer service has made me a repeat customer. Every time Ive gotten a different waitress and they have all been amazing and so great! Ive also tried something different each visit and everything on the menu taste fresh and delicious. This is the type of place I would bring my momma! Also, the bottomless mimosas sure dont hurt

Love this place! Was recommended by a local and they were spot on! We had the best Seared Scallops and Pork Belly over a Roasted Red Pepper Chutney the other night and I cant quit thinking about it! The chocolate ganache with mango-ginger creme was the perfect dessert to finish off a great evening. Was surprised to learn that Senator Michael Bennetts office is right upstairs. He certainly doesnt have to go far to eat well!

In the past it has been wonderful, today it was not so fun. Service was slow, didnt seem to care that we where even there..45 min to serve steak and eggs only after asking about when the food was coming, after watching everyone around us get served when they placed their order after ours. Excuses made by the wait staff we have a very full house. Plates finally came to the table Everything cold. Eggs, steak, ham on the eggs Benedict straight from the fridge. When I asked do you serve it cold, the reply was well it is shaved so it will cool very quickly, (the 1min it takes to walk it from the kitchen)...I explained how disappointed I was and asked to remove it from the table and ticket. Explaining I just prefer to leave. She then brought me a bill for the beverages $29 coffee, juice and Tea. No thanks not worth the wait... Im thinking I will not return...oh well who cares right?

The atmosphere is really cozy and the center brulee is the best Ive ever had. Every time i have it its an intense emotional experience its so good. Its unbelievable.

Had a great evening with friends sharing great small plates, (especially the bacon wrapped dates and meatballs). Our waiter Peyton was a true joy - friendly but not obsequious, recommendations but not pushy. The restaurant is employee owned and its clear they care about you having a good meal and great time.

Food is awesome and the wine is better! Nice little date spot. They also have a great little event room off to the side that is good for private parties. Bacon wrapped dates are pretty awesome...and dont leave without trying the meatballs.

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed Cafe Vino and the environment! We were lucky enough to sit outside and even luckier to have Marcy take care of us. She was absolutely delightful and super attentive (even though she had a graduation party inside). Highly recommend this restaurant for the food, wine and service!! Well be back for sure.

We popped in to warm up on a long walk home a couple of different nights recently and both times, it was wonderful. Lively atmosphere, great service, delicious cocktails... I had the duck fat sazerac and I loved it. The second night, we had a scrumptious flatbread, piled high with spinach, which sat atop a cheesy, garlic-y layer of deliciousness. Its been a while, but we have also enjoyed brunch here several times and it is not to be missed. This is one of our favorite places in town.

I had never been here before today, and it was great. Parking is nice, patio is *excellent* and I had steak and eggs and a mocha latte. Bathrooms are clean, and they had a nice bike rack out front that’s hard not to notice - encouraging locals to bike there is a plus. Thanks for a great breakfast!

What a great birthday present: an evening with family, great appetizers, a drink, an a steak that was cut by our forks it was that tender. My niece was, with her eagle eye and excellent memory for faces, recognized our waitress from junior high, more than a decade earlier. To add to the evenings pleasures the restaurant was beautiful and very, very much a birthday present in deed.

Great food! Great service! Great patio! Found a few mice joining me on the patio though... not sure if theres anything that can be done about that, but I would definitely check into it.

Its a nice place to go out for a celebratory dinner and get a bottle of wine. We had their Sunday 3 course w wine pairings special along with a couple other small plates -- having discovered that we get more enjoyment when we get small items to share and none or just one entrees and also that the servers are able to provide a quality dining experience of information and attention Sunday- Tuesday. They had a slump in quality (service and food) in 2017, and seem to be back on track, so I will change my 4 to 5 stars after a few more consecutive positive experiences.

Our server, Marcy was a pristine example of what all servers should be like at fine dining establishments. She was thoughtful and engaging while retaining a high level of professionalism. The women in our group were served first, and she politely “excused her reach” when necessary. With each course brought out, she frequently checked in to see how everything was for us. All our water glasses were refilled almost as nearly as they were emptied. The wine and champagne was served elegantly, with class. This service was truly genuine, not faked for a tip. Servers like this aren’t a dime a dozen. They’re something else.

Came here with my beautiful wife for a 4-course Valentines Day dinner paired with wine. Fantastic experience! Their wine expert was amazing, food was exceptional, and atmosphere was perfect. Had the best time and will be back soon.

This is a unique location with quite a large bar and plenty of seating with lots of big windows. This is a fancier dinner spot and the prices reflect that. Drinks are also a bit pricey but the staff is very friendly and helpful. Offering some plates you cant get any where else in town it is certainly not a tapas bar in any way. I honestly dont even see small plates offered, just two flavors of appetizers. (It is marketed for some reason as a tapas place).Oh my god. Ive been back. And I just randomly got delivery because a new dish looked too good. And it is. There isnt a place that does so many things right. Its just all really good. You will pay - but not the most in town and some of their stuff is the best in town. It was the Amish Chicken - awesome.

I love Cafe Vino! Despite being close to campus, its got a definite Grown Up vibe while still being laid-back and welcoming. Its probably the best tapas place in town, and the wine list is super affordable. Ive always enjoyed the food options though I cant say there is anything that really stands out. The cheese plate seems like its shrunk over the years, too. But its all high quality and delicious food, wrapped up in a cute little spot. A great option when you dont want the typical dinner date downtown. I wish they had live music!
