The Culture of College Ave - The Bean Cycle is a melting pot of coffee, art, kombucha, and consignment. The asthetic here is absolutely wonderful and pairs perfectly with your morning grind. The staff is more than friendly and theres plenty of room for your study group, not to mention rentable art studios for all of your creative needs.
I tried both their house blend and Brazil coffee roast and loved them both. I definitely recommend this shop for your coffee drinks.Hubby and I always have the espresso, no sugar or additives and this gives me a very good idea of the beans quality.Ps: I got a book, a bday card (photo) and a felt ornament in the store inside the coffee shop. Such a pleasant time inside this place!
Really cool coffee shop, styled with a whole bike history museum. I mean literally, they have some of the coolest historical bikes on display to look at while you sip down really good coffee. They do a lot of community outreach, so local art is always on display and for sale, and sometimes you can watch them work too!Coffee is really good too - the cortado I had was excellent, and the locally roasted beans have been making pleasant coffee. Fresh juice and smoothies is made to order, they have a variety of mixed coffee drinks which are really interesting (root beer coffee anyone?), and theres even Kyoto cold brew machine.Masks are required!
An absolute gem coffee stop while in Ft Collins. I got a smashing pumpkin oat milk latte - before you judge, tremendous. No syrup or artificial flavoring. Master crafted.Enjoy.
Love this coffee shop.. very spacious and cozy. Though they could have more food and drink items but other then that I love this place.
What a great coffee spot! There are several coffee places in the Fort Collins Old Town area, so its tough to compete. This spot has really tasty coffee and nice, simple pastries to go with it. I stopped off here when I needed a place to sit down and hang out for a while with a cup of joe. The parking wasnt bad since I came early morning. They were doing social distancing, but I found a small table in the back and it was perfect. The coffee was hot and perfect. The chocolate croissant with cream cheese drizzle was light and slightly warmed (she offered). The space is not very large with the pandemic conditions, but Im sure it would be larger when they open up the upstairs portion and get some more tables going. Ill be back!
I really like the bean cycle great place to relax with awesome, friendly service. Great coffee
I love drinks with a strong espresso flavor, and this place really delivered. I got a special, and my wife got an ice latte. We stayed and enjoyed our drinks in the shop, and loved the atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Always clean, always friendly, and always something new and fun on the menu! This is a great place for light studying or catching up with friends. The little local artist boutique in the front is worth checking out, too. Always happy to give my dollars to a local place than a major chain up the street.
Coffee artistry as well as art of coffee at its finest. An authentic representative of our town.
Great coffee drinks and nice service. Have reorganized their store making the coffee shop part cut off from the front and less interesting and busy. Still great drinks but at least on this visit didnt seem to be the place to hangout as before.
I would give 0 stars if I could. So after waiting here today, my daughter and I were twice ignored so the server could help the white men instead. We walked out, but I dont think the batista noticed. We will definitely never be back.
Probably one of the better places, if not the best, when it comes to quality. The customer service however is both aggressive and leaves you feeling like you were a giant inconvenience. I ordered a latte, this is one place in town that can properly froth milk and it’s always amazing. When I ordered it, I got the largest eye roll I have probably ever been given. Normally I don’t leave reviews, but it’s been this way for the last handful of visits. It costs nothing to be kind, do better.
Amazing customer service locally owned and operated. Got a cappuccino it is one of the best cappuccinos Ive ever had. I talked with one of the owners they were super nice and knowledgeable about their products and they roast their own coffee. Definitely check out this place and give them your support.
Very rude barrista (woman with blonde short hair), treated me and my party like we were an inconvenience, cannot reccomend....
The coffee is nothing more than fine. The last two times I’ve been here the barista is wearing hardly any clothing (no, tattoos don’t count as clothing) and it has made me extremely uncomfortable. We get that you’re cool and I’m all for body positivity and confidence but it’s a weird flex and inappropriate to wear just a bra and shorts to work in the middle of winter for god sakes!! I shouldn’t be forced to stare at someones stomach while they take my order.Almost seems like this place gets off on making its patrons uncomfortable and Unwelcomed. Won’t be coming back and don’t recommend
This place is my guilty pleasure. The coffee here is better than anywhere in foco, espresso, drip, lattes. However the staff low key treat you like Garbo. I come here all the time cuz the coffee slaps but staff can be pretty rude.
Need a pick-me-up? Boost your morning with a Black Eye coffee!! And if youre into history and nostalgia, they have some of that too! I encourage you check it out!!
Best coffee place in Fort Collins. Clean, upbeat vibe. Fast service. Friendly staff. Delicious items.I love the R2CBD2, americano style (espresso, hot water, butter, CBD). They also have a fun rotation of unique, seasonal drinks developed by staff. We love trying these unique concoctions. Plenty of space inside to sit, cute crafty items and art to browse or purchase. Free WiFi. Ample parking.
Friendly staff and excellent pour over. Great local art and some interesting shirts available as well.
Really good coffee and great atmosphere. Big fan
The coffee is amazing!! It might have been an off day, and the pandemic has been ridiculously hard, but the barista seemed very bitter :/
Love this great coffee shop with the great cappuccinos and friendly service. Only wish that so much great sitting place wasnt taken up by the store next to the window...
Very nice atmosphere with a nice collection of vintage bikes. There coffee is flavorful and they have great smoothies
Bean cycle is easily the best roaster in town, and one of the best in-state. The cafe itself has a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and beautiful coffee. Never had the food personally, but in my opinion there isn’t a better place in Fort Collins to relax and drink a cappuccino
A great place to hang out. Quite, pleasant, spacious and clean. Great coffee, bakery with large tables and good wifi
Awesome service and amazing coffee!
Great coffee . No respect for people using WiFiThey dont like christians and will lie to you.
Our drinks were decent. The staff was not super- friendly but the drink titles were awesome!
I just go here for their fresh roasted coffee. It is ridiculously delicious
Great place to grab a coffee, prices are really reasonable!
I love the space and the vibe, but the espresso is always sour
Probably the best quality espresso in Old Town. OK customer service. Milk alternatives are very pricey here.
Even though this place is known for their coffee I actually really enjoy their tea blends. I am looking forward to trying their coffee someday, I just usually like frozen blended coffees and they don’t have those sadly.
I’m sure their coffee is great too, but I went for the juice and smoothies and they were pretty tasty. I would highly recommend the 14 carrot gold. But it would be cool if they had a few more options, but I totally understand if it’s just a side part and they focus more on the coffee! Anyway a cool place all around and I would imagine a great place to hang out and study.
I came into this store when the beautiful smell of coffee lead me in. The espresso is like the nectar of the gods and I will always come by when in the neighborhood.
One of if not the best places to get espresso in town. Friendly staff, tasty baked goods and great atmosphere. Pass on their coffee beans though, lots of better roasters in town
Enjoyable coffee, interesting atmosphere. ALOT of cool things to look at. A little political polarized artist sell their wares sometimes, but nothing to over the top and still enjoyable to go there to study.
The epitome of a Fort Collins coffee shop. The coffee is stellar and the baristas are great humans. I will say the pricing for juices is a bit high, but everything else is a pretty good deal.
Wonderful open location with seating on two levels. They roast the coffee beans locally. I had a smoothie which was fantastic! Best part, they serve their drinks in glasses and ceramic cups when you stay. Unlike some unnamed coffee locations, they put into practice a sustainably-conscious business plan. Friendly staff and calm atmosphere. Lots of people chatting or on their laptops. Very welcoming.
High quality coffee and espressos. Good service, great cups, and nice overall vibe. The unique flavors and drinks are subtle and compliment the coffee, instead of gimmick specialty drinks like some places try
I come here often. I like the employees and the general vibe. The coffee is good, but itll take a few minutes. Not the place if youre in a hurry. Otherwise, its a cozy and quiet shop!
Very comfy atmosphere. I personally wish there was a slightly bigger selection of juices/smoothies, but the ones that they have are good. Great place to meet up with friends or study, and really fun decor - definitely take a moment to look around.
I love the Bean Cycle! The coffee is absolutely amazing. Whether you want a drip or a delicious latte, the Bean Cycle serves quality in every cup. The place is big with lots of seating. Its wonderful to read a book or open a laptop and crank out some work. Easily my favorite coffee shop in town.
Great coffee. Nice roast chain breaker
Great place inside and loved the tea I had! Place is the bomb. A must see!
My new favorite coffee shop in Ft. Collins!
Great place for a coffee. It’s a place where the younger crowd go. Music was good, the staff was friendly with laughter and jokes going around. I came in with my grandsons for some cakes and drinks.
Great coffee, good atmosphere with some comfy couches available. Barista made a delicious pour-over despite seeming annoyed to have to make one. Seems very community centered, and awesome, eye-pleasing goods for sale! Oh, and smoothies too!
The atmosphere is amazing!!! Great for doing work and people watching. Love how they have books and a spot for kids, comfy couch, and even a sweet loft. Their food may be okay but the coffee is terrible - so come do some work get a snack (but bring your own coffee).
Great atmosphere. Its quite busy right now, so Im grateful for the loft, which is a little removed from the bustle below. A good place to perch with my book. The espresso is acidic for my tastes but clearly of good quality, and Im sure Ill return for more. I think Ill try the drip next time.
Great coffee in shop or whole beans to go. They also serve a selection of pastries. The vegan doughnuts are fantastic. The folks who work there are good people who take the time to be present with each customer. Wolverine Books shares the space and there is an excellent selection of local poetry and other books as well as some cards and locally made decorations.
Really good coffee though the service could be a little bit faster. Young vibe, definitely recommend.
Great spot to grab a coffee. Staff is friendly and they have great suggestions.
Havent been here in a long time. wonderful Americano I got! made my afternoon
Love everything about this place. Coffee is always excellent as is the service. Today I tried one of their juices for the first time. Had the tumerific. It was perfect!
Love the coffee and environment. Cant beat a better offer hang out than this spot in foco.
My Sunday morning latte was very good. My daughter and I also got a couple pasteries. Im a person that thinks just a few details can really make a difference for appeal -esp. with food. Id suggest putting a label next to the items in the case so we know what were looking at and what to ask for. (the coffee shop is loaded with art - add some of that flare to the food case) Simple fix that might generate more sales!
Great place with a warm atmosphere. Lots of seating and fair prices (cant beat a $1 cup of coffee).Internet speed is 16.6 down and 3.4 up
I had the single worst smoothie of my life. It was warm and separated into three layers within minutes. Pure bile and carrot juice. Furthermore, it cost over $7. Insulting quality, pretentious pricing, and a waste of space.
Great atmosphere. Great coffee. Cool little things in the back for sale.
Perfect coffee, perfect staff.
This is my favorite coffee shop in Fort Collins. They always have a pleasant staff and have the best coffee and espresso of the coffee shops Ive tried. Great vibe in the cozy, down town location.
Chill atmosphere, great staff and wonderful drinks. The food options change so it you are looking for tried and true youll find yourself on the coffee side of the menu more often. Need a legit coffee shop? This is it.
I love the atmosphere here. The couch is really comfy. The music is always great. My favorite drink is the Kerouac. So good!
The atmosphere was nice, and the latte was actually pretty good. But since they decided not to label their salt shaker next to sugar, I got a nice swig of salty coffee. 2 out of 5 for being too hipster to not label your condiments and put them all together in different types of shakers right next to each other.
One of my fave coffee and community spots in Fort Collins. They host or are the location for some of the best poetry slams and open mics in the area. You will want to go back here multiple times. They have great branding and a welcoming aesthetic. They whip up crafted specials like the Purple Rain which coincided with Princes passing. Not a huge food selection with only local pastries on hand. There is a library and book store inside! Yay, books should never be forgotten in coffee house history if you ask me.
Great cappuccino and alive setting. Interesting juice drinks some pastries. Right in the center of Old Town.
Taking a walk downtown and decided to stop in for a coffee. 0 people in line and maybe a dozen total in the shop. After browsing the menu for a minute I stepped up to the counter to be greeted or should I say completely ignored. Two workers were working behind the counter and looked directly at us and kept working. No we will be right with you, what can I get for you, nothing at all. After standing there for about 5 minutes without being acknowledged, I got the clear understanding that they didnt need or want my business, so we walked out.I will not be back nor would I recommend this business.
One of my go to coffee shops! I love the tumeric latte, fresh juices and smoothies! Also who couldnt love a coffeehouse bookstore?!
Some of the best coffee in town with phenomenal service
Such a unique, fun atmosphere. Great small bookstore in the back of the shop. They have a house specialty coffee I really recommend. They pull a Cuban Style shot and add a splash of steamed milk. Delicious!
Great coffee of all kinds, plenty of room for seating and located right in the heart of downtown Fort Collins. The servers are very nice and the place is always clean. Great place for students, business people or folk that want to get together. They have free internet available and a bookstore attached.
A tasty latte was all that I required and they delivered on that.
Great atmosphere and a friendly staff. Barista recommended to me a coffee that I ended up loving (I was not prepared for the 16 oz though, so I was there for a while). Great place for studying or just getting off the streets while walking around.
This place used to make some if the best coffee in town but these days there are a number of better places roasting and making much better coffee. Its still a great place to hang out though!
Great playlists always on when I go in. Good place to work or read. Lots of seating, friendly staff. Lady Chatterly is my favorite drink, highly recommend adding CBD to your latte. Light baked goods if you want something to eat.
Yasssssssss girl. This is my go to. I dont even like coffee black but I can’t say enough good things about how much I love it!
Great tasting coffee.. knowledgeable staff about the bean varietals... and a chill vibe. Everything you could want for a solid coffee establishment! :)
I had the special, cant remember what it was called but it featured a spicy pepper. Not super hot peppers, just enough to give the coffee a unique flavor.
Lovely little local place with book store. Cold brew and pour over coffee with some great beans. Local Fort Collins vibe with real mugs and plates.
