Nice little coffee shop. A few tables outside which is great during our covid-time. Staff super friendly. I got a regular coffee which wasn’t all that remarkable considering the on-site roasting efforts. Considering the lack of coffee in this area of Fort Collins though, it’s great to have where it is.I think the layout is a bit awkward. For example I love getting a treat along w/ my coffee but I didn’t think they had any offerings. Only after I ordered I saw some muffins behind me (and IMO suggestive selling would have sold one too) And in general something about the ambiance felt like there was too much going on - I hate trying to figure out how a new place works, what products are offered, etc. Could be more intuitive in that regard.Worth checking out though, it’s a cool spot overall.

Though I dont live near (1500 miles away in fact), I really enjoy this place. Have stopped in for coffees a few times over the last 4 years when travelling in the area, and never disappointed. Great coffee, good pastries, friendly workers. Next time Im near, Ill be in again. Highly recommend.

My first time at Harbinger and I am not disappointed. If youre into coffee and want to experience some seriously different, deep, rich and intense flavor, you need to be here. And I cant wait to grind up a cuppa my take-home selection of Ethiopian plum, violet and bergamot while beans. Its gonna be a flavor explosion, I just know! Harbinger coffee is absolutely unlike whats served up at the well-known National chain (You know who I mean! No need for me to include the name). Many people say that the other guys coffee tastes burnt and thats where their flavor profile comes from. Well, true or not, this is not the case with Harbinger. Their coffee is genuinely uniquely flavored. Youll know what I mean after the first sip. By the way, dont expect to find breakfast sandwiches, cookies, muffins, bottled water or scones here. This is strictly COFFEE! Enjoy!

I hosted a bridal shower here and I can not express how great an experience it was! Jonathan was so great to work with during the planning, and he and Sean were great help during the set up and rest of the party as well!! Overall, would absolutely do it again!

Baristas were so friendly, my latte was delicious, and absolutely love the vibe and I will totally be returning to hang out in their great seating.

Amazing spot. Great selection of coffee that rotates frequently. They have small snacks (mostly croissants which are stellar) and several vegan options that change (donut, granola bar). The coffee is great and even the lattes are winners. Usually Im a black coffee guy, but they got me with the homemade vanilla latte with oat milk

Staff wasn’t super interactive and there were not a ton of options, but the marshmallow treat was so delicious and the coffee was good.

Good service. I enjoyed a Panama gesha variety from Sweet Bloom. (Sweet Bloom is one of my favorite roasters.) They brewed it well. Delicious. They also roast themselves; Ill have to come back to try theirs.

Most expensive coffee in CO. Good but human bean and ziggy’s is better and they always have snacks. Not the case at Harbingers

Their coffee is fresh and brewed the way coffee should be. You can tell they know their coffee and care about the craft.

Decreasing cup sizes and growing prices. In the last 3 months theyve someone managed to go from a small being a 8oz to a 6oz aka large Dixie cup. Kindly asked the barista if theyve changed their sizes and she got really defensive.

** It is 2020. Time to start carrying skim milk or 2%. **My biggest complaint is that they only carry whole milk and non-milk options. This isnt a preference - I cant consume high fat products and prefer low fat milk over soy or oat.Still leaving 5 stars because their coffee and service and location are great.

I like the fact they have non-coffee drinks as well. Local establishment! It is a little more expensive than most coffee shops though.

Great atmosphere and always great coffee here. Sitting inside is a super nice place to be, I also like sitting out on Harmony and watching things happen with an espresso and kombucha :)

Its a cold day and hardly anybody in here. The male behind the counter with glasses cant even be bothered to look up or say hello. Its extremely upsetting when you go into a place of business and the immediate vibe you get is youre inconveniencing them by wanting to spend money in that establishment. Coffee was pretty good but I wont be coming back here. Its reasons like this I really feel that brick and mortar shops are closing. Really disappointing. Maybe Ill try the other location and see if the service is better before I say no completely to harbinger coffee.

First visit review:* Three guests - 2 lattes and 1 cappuccino with two chocolate crescents $ 28 plus tip.* Crescents couldnt be warmed and only had a small piece of chocolate in center.* Cappuccino was only warm.* Staff was lukewarm at best.While we were there two groups left due to slow service. One of which a group of 5 were in front of us and were still waiting after we had finished our food. We are all ex-restaurant staff with decades of experience. They need to revamp staff, review pricing and implement better quality control and customer satisfaction feedback, otherwise they will not be open in a year. Just some suggestions. Good luck...

Best coffee in town! Its a must!

By far my favorite coffee shop/roaster in CO. I live in the Centennial area, but make the trek up here when I can to grab a bag of beans and an oat milk latte with their house made vanilla. Stuff is slammin. And all the employees are super nice. Could not recommend it enough.

My first visit to Harbinger Coffee may have been one of the most life-changing events I have experienced in the last ten years.I dont drink coffee. Or at least, I never have. But today a friend took me to Harbinger Coffee to sample a variety of coffee from Central America, South America, and Africa.The barista, SB, treated me with kid gloves after I explained I am not a coffee drinker. She walked me through the different coffees, the different flavors they each were known for, and gave opinions on other coffees I might like based on my reactions.Who knows if this experience will lead to me drinking more coffee, but it was enjoyable either way.Harbinger Coffee: Super nice people, a great atmosphere, a good time.

Quiet, sunny spot with outstanding coffee. Lots of tables to work at or have coffee with a friend. There are also breakfast foods like pastries available. Super friendly staff. The coffee is amazing! I was so happy to find this gem right on Harmony Road!

First time in and a bit of a rush. Very friendly staff. The barista made my cappuccino quickly. I noticed special care exercised to get the espresso just right. Tasted great.

Asked for a large iced coffee. Was charged 12.00 and they handed me a large steaming hot coffee in my cold cup, and a little plastic cup with ice. I was confused, as I asked for a large iced coffee. They said my order was confusing and instead charged me ONLY 8.00 for a small iced coffee, which I then poured into my large cold cup. My bank later showed a charge of BOTH 12.00 AND 8.00. The coffee tasted awful, by the way. I will NEVER go back, and will tell all my coworkers. I have 700 of them, and we work directly across the street from this shop. Terrible.

Second location with same great coffee and​ service. Excellent curation of coffees from roasters and soon to be roasting in-house. Espresso is top notch and among the best in Fort Collins with knowledgeable and caring staff and ownership. Harbinger often collaborates with other local businesses and shows they care about their customers and the community. Prices are fair for the consistent, quality coffee they offer. This location is comfortably quiet and relaxed with ample seating inside and out. Highly recommended and if you ever were to have a problem/concern, they are caring and appreciative of feedback.

I normally doctor my coffee quite a lot, but not when I come here. Their coffee is some of the smoothest tasting I think Ive ever had. Despite that, it is also a kick in the teeth as far as waking you up. Worth a try for anyone else with a major caffeine addiction.

Phenomenal! Im constantly trying new coffee and I cannot believe I hadnt been here. Everyone was helpful, friendly, kind, and professional. Atmosphere is great. They roast everything in shop, and every drink I tried was excellent. Top notch coffee from top notch people!

A lot of places claim to have quality espresso and coffee, but this place truly does. The depth of flavor that comes in a cup here is unmatched in the area.***Came back again in July of 2018 and it’s still terrific! Max served us this time and he is another top notch barista at Harbinger.

I have always loved Harbingers Coffee. Ever since only had the pop up stand. That was when I tried and found out that I enjoyed straight black coffee because it was good quality coffee that isn’t over roasted like a lot of coffee is. I did try their Chai Tea and it’s not strong as I’m use to having. It’s still good for being their own recipe.

Id like to give it five stars but there is still some room for a little improvement. The coffee is great! Pricey but great stuff. The main issue is the unpredictable wait, and no other food offerings than pastries. The latter does not bother me as much, but it would be a nice touch.It is a nice little walking distance from the tech area just across the street and makes for a nice break. However, it only takes a group of 4-5 people in line before you to transform the wait to a good 10 minutes in order to get to the counter and order. I have to say though that when it is not as busy, the experience is friendly and the place cozy.

If you haven’t had Harbingers coffee, you don’t know what you’re missing. Someone else said this in a review, and it really is true. This is life changing coffee. Cool atmosphere too.

The chai tea was pretty watered down, and I was only able to taste some of the flavors towards the base of my cup. The environment was bland (hipster without the charm is the way Lauren put it). But the people were friendly enough and the shop was clean. The process of how they pour their coffee was petty cool though. Best of luck to this place, I know theyve done well elsewhere!

Pretty decent place, but I felt like it was really confusing.. especially with where you pay/order.. it was a tiny little area that was hard to see.

Somebody once said go not where you are tolerated. But go where you are celebrated. Went to this place downtown so I was excited to see one across the street!Until I went in. Last time. Go to the Starbucks in King Soopers, theyll help you with a smile on. Dont really even like the coffee they just gave me but forget walking back in there. President Washington once didnt hire somebody because of his face, saying something like a face like that will effect you. Watch your countenance. ESPECIALLY at work where your supposed to be a professional. The tall dude was nice.

I will never go back there. The staff was not friendly at all, it was over priced and the chai and a shot of espresso had coffee grinds in it.

Always great coffee and really chill quiet atmosphere. Its hard to find a favorite between Harbinger and Bean Cycle, theyre both so good.

My mom thought it was the best coffee in town and shes very very particular on her coffee. I really liked that they offered Naunce Chocolate in some of there drinks which is also a high quality product. I was sad to see not many bakery treats though but I also stopped by around 4pm

Pumped that theyre going to start roasting! Great new space and much easier to get to than the downtown location. Quality is consistent between the two. Love it!

We went here at 4:50pm today and asked if they had anything brewed they said no and asked if they could brew something... the guy looked annoyed and said im closing soon. I turn and look at closing time it was at 6:00, so I most likley wont be returning here again.

The only place where I can get a coffee without loading it full of sugar and creamer and it tastes delightful.

Once coffee beans are roasted they have about 2 weeks before they start to go stale. These guys roast their beans in house weekly, so they blow other shops out of the water. Delectable coffee.

Such a smooth but slightly nutty cup of americano! Highly recommended from a non-Starbucks fan, as the roasting didn’t stress the flavor.

Autmosphere was a bit dry and plain. Everyone was working on computers so not a social place to hang out with friends. Its great that they roast their own beans but my husband and I thought the breve and drip coffee were just good, not amazing. The latte art was the best thing. We sat outside but there arent great views. Overall my experience was ok, not as amazing as people talk this place up to be. Although its great to have another coffee place other than Starbucks and I hope they do well but I probably wont make a trip to come out here again.

Way overrated. Coffee is just ok, brewing at home tastes better. I would have given 3 stars except for the insane amount of hype I hear about this place. Nowhere close to being the quality people suggest it is. Neat fancy designs in coffee, and neat contraptions around the place for roasting and brewing, but for all the pizzazz around the place, the main focus should be *coffee flavor,* which is certainly lacking.

Fabulous NoCo location for a coffee/networking date - easily accessible for people from Fort Collins, Windsor, Loveland, Timnath. The in-house roasted coffee smells (and tastes!) awesome. The staff is friendly and helpful and they dont mean-mug you if your meeting begins before youve ordered a cup of joe.

I ordered a RedEye w/ 2 shots, medium. It was $5.60. It was the weakest RedEye Ive gotten so far in Fort Collins, and at least $2 more than everywhere else.I felt taken advantage of.Location and atmosphere are ok

I dont really know what this place is like because I havent been to it yet, but I hear its pretty sick so I give it 4 stars. However DC Oakes right nextdoor is pretty sick if you enjoy quality food and fine woodworking.
