Tha ladies are great but I was told after my transition lenses stopped work,,, they only work about 1000 times not true . No replacement, Also my husbands pair the lenses look like spider webs now. Would be better to back the products better .

Lost glasses while visiting Ft. Lauderdale without a backup pair. They were more than willing to hook me up with a trial pair of contacts as long as I provided them a current script from my hometown Dr.Super accommodating and I cant believe how easy they were to work with on this. Kudos to this level of service.I reached out to Oakland Optical Center after Vision Source was going to make it a hoop jumping exercise.

They immediately realized that I needed to see a specialist and, seeing my distress, took care of booking an emergency appointment for me and even contacting my insurance company on my behalf. My family and I have been going to Oakland Optical Center for several years now. The staff is warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Schachtman is just wonderful. The optical selection is vast and trendy. Oakland Optical Center is my family’s eye care center of choice.

The associates were extremely helpful, informative, and patient, both on the phone and in person. The doctor was Extremely thorough, moreso than any optometrist I have ever seen in the past, and he took the time to explain details throughout the entire visit, and to answer any questions I had. I give them my highest recommendation, and I researched quite a number of other facilities in the area before choosing this one.

What a great place. This is the only eye store I have ever been to that had my glasses the next day! Unbelievable!!! Prices are great also. Go, you won’t be disappointed!

These guys did a wonderful job for me and my wife. We were visiting from The Bahamas and only had about three days left of our trip when we came. We informed the team there of our situation and they sped up the turnaround on our lenses. We got our glasses on the day we were leaving.The staff was friendly and courteous and on top of everything else, they delivered.

I had previously gone to a large eye care center that couldnt keep anything straight. In fact they forgot to order my contacts 3x! The employees at Oakland Optical are experienced and friendly. Ive been going here for 5 years and I wouldnt go anywhere else! (even though I moved 2 hours away, still worth the trip!)

I used to get my glasses here 20 years ago. It was always a great place. Then I had LASIK. Now Im old and need glasses again, and went right back. This place is still doing business the old fashioned way. Still owned by the same guy. Extremely friendly, courteous and prompt. Awesome selection of frames from what I can tell, i grabbed a pair of Oakley right off. The girls at the front counter are awesome, as is the Optician. Im glad I remembered them . Looking forward to another 2 pairs of glasses a year like the old days...

Ive been trying to find a good eye doctor ever since I moved to Florida 4 years ago. Im SO happy with this place! The doctor is very professional and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

I used to like this place but not after today. BUYER BEWARE I bought a pair of Silhouette eyeglasses on March 30th 2017. I purchased these glasses because I was told they came with a 2 year repair/replacement warranty No Matter What: scratch em get new lenses, break em get new frames, new prescription you get new lenses. I paid $488.00 because of these warranty benefits. I went in today Sept 12th 2018 with a new eyeglass prescription and was told that would only covered in the first 30 days of the purchase. That is not be a selling point! Who gets a new prescription, spends $$$ for news glasses and then goes and changes the prescription in the first 30 days? The lady today told me your eyes change. No one in there right mind pays almost $500 and then gets a second prescription in the first 30 days. I only bought these expensive frames because I was sold a new prescription change was also part of the warranty. Maybe the girl who sold them was new and misspoke, they should honor what I was told. To say that is not what I was told means that your calling me am a liar. I know what I was told when I purchased these frames, why else would I pay for a new prescription and walk in there today believing just that?

Went here for a eye exam last week, Im 40 and have never needed glasses before. The staff was so helpful and knowledgeable especially since I was completely clueless as to what was wrong and what I needed.Im not looking forward to having to wear glasses but Oakland Optical sure is making it easier for me.

Came to Oakland Optical while on vacation from another state. All we needed was a repair of Rx glasses that had broken. The staff was friendly and efficient even though they knew we probably were not going to make a big purchase. They got us back on the road in no time and now we can see all the palm trees!

After a week of shopping around for an optician, I ran across Oakland Optical Center. I had an eye exam and obtained a prescription for both eyeglasses and contact lenses. The doctor was extremely thorough and professional, and I was genuinely pleased with his services. While there, I purchased a pair of Carrera eyeglasses at an incredible price, as well as 2 boxes of contact lenses.
