The flea market was about half empty of vendors when I went. However, their variety and freshness of fruits and vegetables are better than any farmers market anywhere. You can find varieties there that are impossible to find in stores, even high end ones. I was told they are closing down so maybe you can take advance before it closes.
Multicultural area of sales. Its really popular on Sunday. Alot to see and buy. Like walking at the park😁. I enjoy it with my family.
Prices are way to high on certain things. Its has many, many choices in fresh fruit and vegetables. Fresh herbs 🌿 😎 👌. I dont love it but neither do I hate it 😬 They also have a food truck in the way back of the market that sales fresh oysters and all other fresh seafood dishes 😋 absolutely delicious and worth the price 💯
Lots of walking around in an outdoor mall. Very high prices for item founds elsewhere. Better off shopping at indoor malls. My humble opinion.
Lots of produce, and leather. Not too big, spent maybe 20mins to walk the whole flea market. All the vendors were nice to us and spoke English to us since no one in our group spoke Spanish.
Party goes down Sunday at the Pulga De Ortiz! Best seafood in Fort Myers! Vuelve a la Vida, try there oysters preparadas! Sooooo good your mouth will still water even after! As a vendor for the first time, I should be out of inventory next Sunday. No contracts no fees. Walk in walk out with cash in your hands! Everyone is family.❤
Predominantly Hispanic products and services. Great place to buy fresh and inexpensive produce. Highly recommend the food and fruit stands. Saturday is a good day to avoid the crowds, but it gets very hot very quick as there is hardly any fans or AC to cool you off.
A good place to buy food, clothes, tools. They sell almost everything you need.
This is a wonderful flea market! Colorful clothes, lots of tools, toys, leatherwork, flowers, and animals. The fruits and veggies are plentiful and every variety you can imagine. Music is playing everywhere and the smell from the food vendors is amazing. We noticed that no one was smoking here.Recommend this market, if you do nothing more than put in steps and enjoy the walk.
I have being coming to his place for over 15 years and every year it gets better organized, the variety of produce is very good, and the vast of services available is very impressive. The improvements and cleaness are very noticeable. I visit here ever other Saturday. I recommend this place.
Its a great place I had a lot of fun great food good food the seafood lady
Nice little pit stop. Mostly clothing shoes and fruits vegetables. If you are looking for a fancy dress for quinecera (spelling) this is a great place for that! They also had several food options there.
Had a pleasent experience with the food vendors. Was walking through the clothing vendors and decided to stop and ask him much a pair of shorts were in English. I had just bought another pair which had a embellishments in a different Spanish store in Lehi for $8. So she looked at me and said $20 and I looked at her and I guess must have given quite the reaction on my face and I asked her to repeat it and she said $20 I said no but thank you and my husband and I walked off and as we did so her and all the women back there started laughing. Im not sure if it was because of my face when she said the $20 or the fact that she tried to get one on me. Either way no problemos. 😂😉🤣lol
Great place to eat and a great place to find a deal of a lifetime. Flea markets are great.
Taco bus had really good food. Not much else for us but fun going through.
Amazing shops they have everything here from delicious foods authentic mexican experience speaking Spanish is recommended but not required they have beautiful shops and one in particular is amazing its a small shop with pinatas above they sell the most amazing dresses and decorations for weddings babyshowers sweet 16 quinceanera and birthdays overall best shop in the place there are bathrooms here and there is also free parking
Great fresh fruits and vegetables. And the people are very friendly staff
Great fun...lots of good food! The produce is great and very inexpensive and you can find any and everything in the flea market section. A great place and will definitely be back.
You can find all kinds of new and older stuff here
Went to the seafood food truck, was amazing! Incredibly Fresh a little pricey but they serve a lot in a dish.
Huge place but mostly dealers with same products. Outside the indoor was a vegetable market with reasonable prices and good looking fruit and vegetables.
Good ol mexican ppl.. great food.. great deals on all type of items
Other then being hot...they had what i neededPots and pans
The merchants were very friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed and the prices were very reasonable.
Pretty busy great food and vegetables but everything else you might as well get at mall or Amazon there the same price
A really cool place to check out especially if youre visiting.
The site is well organized with lots of very nice things. The whole site is geared towards hispanic items.
I love this flea market. It has great food, produce and bargains. I love staying in touch with my roots. This flea market is predominantly Latinos. Lots of goodies from Mexico.
With a wide variety of shops, from used to new products. Great offers for all sorts of stuff, dont forget to bargain for better deals.
Very hot every where you go, then again you are in Florida, the prices are more expensive then out side stores.
Good produce, great smells, wish I had been hungry I will go back to try the food stands.
Flea Market of Ortiz is a wonderful place to visit lots of stuff to look at you will never leave this place without buying anything great deals always.Vendors are super nice friendly. Thank you for a wonderful experience
Amazing bought new box spring and bed set a lawn mower washer and dryer and got everything for less than$300
Boots and fruit. More of a farmers market.I was hoping to find more Mexicano artwork and mosaic pottery. All the designs were in the boots and there were every kind.
Awesome place to visit and shop.
Nice spot without the rain.
Super fun, variety of items being sold, food looked wonderful, parking was my only complaint
What place to shop.the people there are diverse items for sale. Loved the fresh vegetables, flowers and plants. Great hot corn on the cobb and tried chichirron which was a crispy tortilla with cabbage, tomatoes, cheese, avocado, lime juice and chile. There i@ an array of New and Used items and even animals for sale.
Very much a Mexican flavor to this place. Great boot collection for men and many clothing shops. Not the most organized place.
A lot of good stuff! Everyone is really friendly and the best mexican street food!
Freaking loved this place and recommend everyone shops here! Great food too!
SO cool anf everything is so goooood
Excellent place to enjoy the day shopping and browsing. Great food court.
It has a little bit of everything, and the food is authentic and amazing. I ate at a couple of places in there.
Just left.. Very clean. Big variety. Worth the visit!! Fresh farm veggies. All good prices.
Was more then half empty. The ones that was open selling the same stuff. At high prices. Most vendors did not want to speak english.
Lots of things to choose from, good prices
To many open booths itbe due to the charges for locations (booths) in the market. Lowering the prices because of the pandemic might help the venders to return sitting property has no income only cost moneyA
People very nice and helpful
Best place to go to get fruits and vegetables a lot for a little bit of money.
Had a great time good for the family to go to
I highly recommend this place for anybody. I really had a good experience visiting this place LOVE IT so much.
Expensive... not like before, mostly new things for sale.. hardly any used.. no antiques.
Interesting Hispanic side culture
Tons of items for sale at great prices!
A lot of vendors are not participating due to covid-19. Not a lot of choices to pick from. It depends mainly what youre looking for. Worth a stop on your way to the bigger flea market down the road.
Very very dismal place and low customers for a Saturday. Not a place that needs visiting more than once.
Perfect place to be at on Sunday. Great food. Great people around you! The nicest vendor is the one close to the billboard with his fruits and veggies. Sells his products for a reasonable great price!
Great place to go get tools.
This is a good place to buy fresh vegetables
Cool flea market with a lot of nice stuff but you do get really hot a sweaty walking around.
Great mix of old and new items.Fresh fruit and veggies
Great finds as always. Marisco food truck was BOMB!
Most of what we saw were nice leather boots. Some of the vendors were nice & helpful, others not so much. If you dont speak Spanish you will have a very hard time at this place. I find it interesting that the other flea markets have things in Spanish as well as english. You are made to feel a bit uncomfortable here but they have amazing selection of vegetables & fruits.
One of my favorite flea market in Florida. Ilie to drive here early in the morning to get fresh vegetables and the price is cheaper than in the supermarket. They have all kinds of tropical fruit plants here also. We love this market.
Great spot to walk around and check out deals. New and used items there. Plenty of fresh produce. Men’s, women’s and children’s clothing/shoes. Children’s sports wear. Multiple food trucks that smelled great! Overall had a good time, found some good deals and will be going back.
Old fashioned flea market
Fresh produce at a fair price, support local small business
A good place to go for produce on the weekend. Always interesting to walk and watch the people perhaps pick up something you didnt realize you needed
Awesome food if youre brave. Great deals if you know where to go for your fruits and veggies. Its a fleamarket not a shopping mall.
First time visiting this flea market. I have recommended it to others staying at our resort. They have a wide selection of items and a great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables.
I call it the spanish flea market they have anything from fruit, livestock, jewelry very little traditional flea market old style spreads. They sell fruit cups sliced in spears with a little lime squeezed on it with chili powder its sweet sour and spicy all in one its amazing and everyone is very nice and communicating isnt an issue
Small but authentic Mexican flea market, you gotta try the Super Taco Truck.
Wonderful family environment great food lots to see
Old school flea market awesome to walk around
Its great! Family friendly ! Anything thing you. Need and then some enjoy guys
The have all kinds of things at very cheap prices, keep in mind though you get what you pay for. Some things are worth it some are not all depends on what you want. Very fresh produce available
So much fun at this flea market. Carries fruits I had never heard off. Also has Goats & chickens
Lots of fresh fruit and Latin style leather products (boots/belts). When I went, there was also a $5 pony ride and several turkeys for sale. There is also a stand which sells plants and trees.
A very good flea market in Lee county Florida. Here you can find tropical fruits and vegetables including rare or oddball fruits. Guava, mangoes, mamay, sapote, etc... Here you can find used items and animals as well. This is my go-to place for fruits and vegetables.
Always fun to visit.
It’s neat to see what you can discover here. Good place to buy fresh local produce at a cheap price
Good place to chill .
This place is awesome !
Excellent deals for fresh fruits and vegetables, numerous growers were there the day I went offering beautiful orchids.
People friendly, helpful and polite. Nice place to see other cultures. Good produce, good music, fun.
Absolutely love this place!! Numerous food vendors and its delicious food but there are so many stores to browse and then there are countless vendors selling everything from used furniture to used kid items. There are also numerous vendors selling fresh produce. This place is really worth the time.
Great buys, good deal, and the lunch was tasty.
LPS from a vendor! An international marketplace, mostly Spanish. Always love to visit for roasted corn and good buys!
This is the place to go if you want fresh fruits, veggies, and fresh juice. One of the main reasons I keep coming back. I really love the diversity of this flea market.
Great place to find..... tools, fresh vegetables etc. Gotta have some roasted corn and tacos.
Bathrooms are disgusting but understandable. You can find a ton of weird things like knives, homemade things, worn clothing, fake designer brands, etc. Fruit is everywhere. But still a nice place. They even have ice cream carts that are sold to anyone who wants any. (Ice cream)
Always shop there, I go all the time for honey from a guy who sells local honey every sunday
Its great. Go in the morning its the best time to shop and walk. Less people
