I had tires that I had purchased from Amazon mounted and balanced here. I also had a 4 wheel alignment. Service was done fast, and at a reasonable price. One year later the alignment is still good, and the car rides like new!I had heard that Sears at this location is closing. I hope that the Auto Center remains open if Sears decides to close the main store.
I bought a brand new car in March & have had every service completed by Sears. My oil change is usually under $30 because they send me coupons in the mail to keep me coming back! I love this place, i am so comfortable. Alex is always here for me, he gets me in & out within an hour (usually 30 minutes). The location is awesome as well because you can shop at Edison while waiting for your car to be done.
Great place to get tires just wait till they are offering the $300 in points on shop your way when you buy $300 it like getting free tires. Also the guys at the tire shop are knowledgeable and helpful.
This morning at 8 am, I went in for my scheduled appointment to get 4 new tires mounted and installed. When I pulled into the bay and gave the Sears rep my info, he told me that the tires they had quoted me were not what I had asked for and I would need to buy a lower quality tire which would be the same price. He was very unapologetic about them having lied to me (or being incompetent) and me making a trip in at 8 am on my day off. Luckily, Rick Johnson Auto and Tire is right across the street and they honored what they had quoted me. Rick Johnson has a new client and I will never buy from this Sears again.
Sears is NO LONGER SEARS. Stay away from this place! No longer accepting American Express. Does that tell you anything? Steer clear. Service is questionable. Prices are way too high. Bankrupt. They’ll be gone in 6 months.
Purchased a die hard battery from sears at Edison mall in Fort Myers Fl less then 18 months ago battery is dead and store has closed down. More stores to close folks. Find a different repair shop cause now we have to jump through hoops to get a warranty claim and all this is nonsense.
The store employees were very good. Bought a fridge there, in Sept, it work well for about 2 weeks then a loud humming noise would appear and would not only be annoying but would wake you up at night. Sears came once to fix it said it was a shield. The noise stopped for about a week and is back with a vengeance. Talking to Sears is like talking to a wall. We want a new replacement fridge as of today no luck they just seem to ignore you was told January 11th they will send a repairman out again. We bought 4 new appliances from Sears as we bought a new house. Guess they forgot what customer service is. Very sad.
There are hidden charges. In the website the high mileage oil change price is shown around $36.99. But when I went to the store they add extra service charge, filter changes charge, tire rotation charge. Im surprised and went to other store. I do not recommend this business.
I came in for a pair of tires and an oil change. Locations in Ohio and Pennsylvania are competent and pleasant, not here. I wont be back ever.
I took my car in for service on March 17th, went in for an oil change, tire rotation and alignment. My car has never been the same since! I realized when I left Sears the sticker they put on the top left corner said alignment issue needs further attention although that’s one of the reason I took it in for. I also realized my car was shaking and now had a vibration issue which never had before, the following Monday I took it back to have it rechecked and supposedly nothing was wrong. I have a 2010 Rogue with 30,000 and it drove beautifully. I was helped by Kevin both times I took my car in and he seemed to be clueless of my concerns. Now I’m forced to take it to the Naples Nissan and am now stuck with a bill over $400 for repairs that were caused by Sear of Fort Myers located at Edison Mall. I went to Sears again to demand my money back and they only gave me $50. I will never return to Sears as they have totally messed up my car that had no issues previously. I don’t recommend anyone to spend their money or time going to Sears unless you don’t care about your car.
Went for an oil change and to get my car looked at to see what it wasnt starting. They checked battery and alt. and said everything was fine. Oil was changed, but they didnt clamp the air filter closed when finished. Later that day my car wouldnt start at a gas station. Luckly, a good semaritan came by and showed me that it was the connection between the wire and the battery terminal that needed to be cleaned. If they would have taken another minute, they would have seen this too. A little more care would be nice.
Went in because I had a bad tire which I purchased from them 3 years earlier. Only 18K miles on these. They blamed it on poor alignment, which I knew from the last time they told me I needed an alignment and took it over to Toyota and they said no alignment needed. I agreed to buy four tires but they blackmailed into being able to use the tire warranty by having to buy an alignment. I told them I already bought a package of alignments from the nearby Toyota dealership and would take it there. They said they couldnt give me the special price unless I got the vehicle aligned through them. I hesitantly agreed but it changed the price in my favor by about $400. I also wanted the two good tires thrown in the back since they still had some mileage left on them. I thought if down the road I needed to replace only one tire, I would have it already.I set an appointment, got their early, and was told they could get started in about 15 minutes. Over 3 hours later, I still didnt have my car. After telling them I needed to be somewhere my car came out about 30 min later. My service ticket was punched 45 minutes before I got the car so it would look to corporate that they they got the car out by the promised time. Two days later, I noticed that the center wheel caps went missing. Apparently they broke them on removal but just shoved them back in anyway. I returned and was told that they would order me some new ones. The gentleman was very helpful. It is now over two weeks later and still no caps. They also did not put my 2 used tires in the back. Didnt even bring it up since I figured they were long gone by the time I saw this.I will say that the people seem to be very friendly, but try to get you to pay extra for things you do not need. Even use it against you as some other posters have noted. I would also check any special requests. It just seems like there is too much for the consumer to do here. Wait times are very long. Would probably try somewhere else next time.
Always good, honest service.Have two cars that get regular maintenance and tires there. Never a problem. I have learned to trust these guys.
Dont ever come to this place to get anything done on your vehicle. I just replaced a part on my vehicle and want to get an alignment done. I have an alignment warranty until April of 2017. Apparently, the warranty expires if you change a part on you car on your own. Its ridiculous. If youre looking to have something done on your vehicle I would suggest going elsewhere.
On 9/5/13, my dad purchased a Platinum Diehard battery for my son for $265. On 9/30/13 - the car broke down, we were able to get it to Pep Boys - 1 mile down the road from Sears. Pep Boys said the battery was expired, and had a bad cell, and recommended I call Sears. So I did - they very rudely told me they couldnt do anything until I brought the car in. I told them we have spent THOUSANDS of dollars in repairs there since December. They didnt care. They wanted me to tow the car in first. So - rather than pay a tow truck - I bought a battery at Pep Boys for under $90. Fired right up. Drove a mile up the road to Sears - and they were closed. The following day - I brought the battery back - expecting they would replace it. I was WRONG. They tested it - and then told me they had to charge it first. I live really close - so I left the battery there - and told them to call me. They never called. This afternoon - my son went back again. They offered to replace the battery - but said that the newest one they had expired 10 months ago. They refused to refund the money - and their final offer was another expired battery - and a $40 refund. Will dispute the charge with the credit card company - but really - have NEVER had such a poor experience with a major company - drive the extra mile down the road to Pep Boys - they were GREAT!! They went out of their way to help me (when it wasnt really their problem), and were EXTREMELY nice. Youll also save yourself a BIG chunk of change.Hey - Sears??? If you want to sell overpriced crap to old guys who think that SEARS is a name they can trust - at least have the decency to back it up on customer service. If you are charging premium prices - treat the customers better. And - anyone thinking about getting a battery there? check the expiration before they put it in...
I was told on the phone that if I made it to the Auto Center by 5:30, theyd be able to put new tires on my car. When I arrived, a manager named Kevin was extremely unpleasant to deal with, basically telling me to leave because they close in 30 minutes when I had just driven 30 minutes to the location and was promised over the phone I could get my tires done today. He was extremely rude, short tempered, and insulting. My grandmother was with me, using her discount to by the tires (my grandfather worked for sears for 37 years) and Kevin would cut her off while she was talking and had a horrible attitude to us both. I had had enough with Kevins horrendous attitude and demanded to return my keys so I may leave. He replied with Its been a long day when I explained how insulted I was with his customer service, which stunned me since I was the one standing there with grease and tire marks on my arms from changing my flat on the side of the highway, and now having to shell out 700$ for new tires, which apparently they told me on the phone they had my tires in stock when they actually didnt when I arrived. I said that is ok but Id like the deal I was suppose to get on the Hancooks to be applied to the Bridgestones. Kevin smirked and said thats not happening. When he was taking my information, my grandmother asked if he in fact needed hers since it was going to be her paying. He cut her off and said with a sharp tone Do you own the car!?. Ive never experienced such blood-boiling, horrible customer service like this. Ill never return to SEARS as this instance explained to me why their company is sinking more rapidly every day, on the path to inevitably being bankrupt. I have contacted higher management with my experience with the so called manager Kevin.
Im so sad. Poor Henry and Kevins team.
They replaced a bad battery, still under warranty,in about 2 hours. They were courteous. No charge for replacement battery.I was satisfied with the service.
Recently I visited Sears Auto Center at the Edison Mall in Fort Myers. I have done business with Sears Auto at many locations for over 20 years, I encountered the worst customer experience in my entire life. Every time I bring my wife’s Acura to sears their machine tells me it needs to be aligned. I have taken it to Acura to verify this and am always told the car is in correct factory specs and Acura does not recommend alignment at this time. I went to Sears Auto with a nail in my tire (I carry road hazard with Sears) and at the time told the “salesperson” I only wanted my tire repaired and did not want my car checked for alignment or anything else as their machine always says the car is out of alignment. He proceeds to measure all my tires which appeared to be fine. He said I should replace 3 of the 4 tires (not the one being plugged). I said I was in a hurry and may come back but would shop around for my best deal as I did not feel I got the beast deal at Sears last time. My car was taken back and my tire fixed and I was then told if I did not buy 3 tires they could not put my tire back on the car. I asked the manager Kelsey Simmons if my car was safer to drive on the spare and he said no. This is like the old days of the Car Dealer who loses the keys to your trade in until you sign for the new car. Sears is a large company and I have been to other locations that treated me very well, however I will never be back. When I got home I opened my trunk a few days later to put in some beach chairs and they had damaged the inside bottom of the trunk. The “free” tire plug will cost way more than if I had just gone to Tires Plus and paid for a plug.By the way after leaving Sears I went to Tires Plus and my tires were deemed safe and my wheel put on at no cost as a courtesy. This is the kind of customer service people remember.
Stood in store for 15mins and no one showed up...you folks lost $1000 of my business today I was going to buy new rims and tires.
2 hours for a oil change and tire rotation with a appointment scheduled. I will never go back to this place and neither should you. The staff is nice but the office staff is very lazy, always sitting down watching tv in the lobby as the mechanics work, maybe if they helped out a bit it wouldnt take 2 hours for a oil change
I hope this location is one that is going to be shut down. I called to make an appointment early in the morning I was told I did not need to make an appointment just to bring it in I get there and Im told the wait is 3 hours for an oil change I should have made an appointment. Never again! please do not come here and waste your time!!! I hope they shut it down
Drone flying over the Pavilion.
I havent even gone in. I just called and spoke with a woman named Amanda who was very abrupt and rude. Ill skip that hostility and go somewhere else. SEARS you might want to re-think who youre employing. There are plenty of people out there in need of a job, if AMANDA doesnt like customer service she should go work somewhere else.
Had a scheduled appointment still took over 2 hours for an oil change.
Service very good and fast
It has shutdown
Friendly team
