Super friendly staff. Knowledgeable & been in business multiple generations... inventory is hard right now but more people are missing this hidden gem of a furniture store.... yall give it a shot! You might even get a deal....

My wife and I are moving and the one thing we pushed to the back of our schedule was purchasing furniture. Not wanting to deal with big box stores like Ashleys, Slaten was the only privately owned business we could find in our area. When we walked in we immediately saw the sofa and chair combo we wanted and bought them without much hesitation. The owner was super friendly and accommodating and even knocked down the price a little. Great experience all around.

Not People Friendly! Not Child Friendly! I dont even want to give one star, but zero is not an option. We were looking for mattresses. The store was empty and the owner was sitting in a chair. We make our way over to the very few mattresses they have. We have been pricing different stores for about a month now. So my 2 kids know the drill now they are only allowed on a mattress if we are laying on it to try it out. My 4 year old goes to lay on the first bed that we are looking at (I repeat LAY ON THE BED) and the man starts to yell at him to get off and stay off the furniture. At this point my husband and I are making a swift exit as the man is still shouting insults at us to teach our kids to mind. I have never been in a discount furniture store that is opposed to someone laying on a bed before deciding to purchase it. I will never shop there again nor recommend them.

Good quality furniture, at reasonable prices. Owner very knowledgeable.
