Becoming a production boat company... In my opinion, many other better quality boats out there for the money... This is not your grandfathers MBG boat manufacturer.... Its all about production...
Very poor Customer service, Ray Ayres as he is a representative of the Maverick Boat Group, Cobia Boats. After Spending $200,000.00 on a boat you would expect better quality control for Cobia, and then Have them tell you Looks like a normal install, you might have to add a couple pieces of weather strip gasket to it I was very dissapointed with the email reply that Ray sent to me, Please review the pictures that I am enclosing. I am sure that Rays front door is not hung out of square as my dive door is, Marine Connection sent 2 representatives to look at the problem But Ray sat on his fat A__ and did nothing!! He could have called Marine Connection to verify the problem or called me to discuss it but he chose to take the easy way out and sent me a email and hope that I would give up.. Wrong I will make sure that this post is blasted on every social medial possible and then to the Attorney General of the State of Florida, as well as Consumer Affairs, and NBC Television.. Ray Ayers you messed up and i will follow up till your Ears Ring!!

One of the best fishing boat builders anywhere. They have the facility dialed in. Efficient and up to spec with the latest greatest building technique. They probably makes more fishing boats than any company in Florida.
I have a 2016 Hewes Redfisher that has 100 hours on the motor and Ive had electrical problems since day one. Ive had a professional wire guy come out a dozen times or so and he cant seem to locate the problem. The boat is a great fishing platform but the service is not so great. I have replaced a trolling motor, Garmin, many lights, charger, live well pumps and the issues continue. I called Ray at MBC and told him all of these things, his response. Your guy would be able to diagnose it better, we just wire at our facility. Keep in mind I just told him what I wrote above and that there is a fire hazard with this boat. I take clients and my family fishing and this has to be resolved. He continued to tell me that this boat is no longer under warranty, really just trying to push the problem to someone else because he didnt want to deal with it. Asked to speak with someone above him and he says he is in charge. At the end of the call he advised I could drop the boat off at the end of May. Two months later and that they couldnt guarantee the issue would be resolved. I will never purchase another product from MBC. This is my second MBC boat purchase but never again.
Great company. Nice people, who love what they do, and it shows in the boats that they make.
