Weve taken our boat/motor to St Lucie Outboard for years. I went there this am to pick the boat up as it had a hydraulic issue. Everyone is so nice and goes out of their way to help you to get in & out w/no problems! A pleasure doing business with them!

Terrible! I purchased an engine from this place a couple of years ago and service was questionable then but now it is awful. The woman could be the rudest most awful person I have met is the last decade and she is positioned at the front door! Sadly there are no other Honda dealers close to Ft.Pierce. I would drive across the state to avoid dealing with this company!

First of all I take great pride in my Boat as I dont let anyone do any work on it .unfortunately it had a warranty problem with oil psi alarm. So I had take St Lucie outboard for the warranty work. Well it still cost me $300.00 and I found out that the warranty from Suzuki was a insurance policy! (JOKE) So I downloaded the information from the insurance company and found that I paid for something that was covered. So bud did make that right . Now my second trip out on my boat i got stranded 4:00am NO POWER! YES ALL THREE BATTERIES DEAD! YES I found that when they pulled the power head off to replace the oil pump they did not plug in the power lead that comes from the motor to charge the batteries. Its a big gray connector that has a positive snap that you cant pull apart!NOT VERY HAPPY ABOUT THIS!I understand not everyone is not going to do perfect. But this is something that should have never been missed! It just goes to show that it was not checked out after the work was done!You could not of done the final diagnostic tests without seeing that there was no charing.It was a few months ago but in my defense I took it for a test drive after the work was done and then covid19 hit. I always charge my boat a day before with the built-in charger. So Tuesday we were out in it and that night I parked and left on only my 360 led light. At 4:00am I got up and noticed no light!I started checking out things with the electric and found the pink wire with the gray connector not plugged in. It took me about 20 minutes to find the other end. By that time Boat US showed up with a jump box. Thank God I was not 215 miles out as I was supposed to go to green turtle cay! I dont mind paying for work done but this was not done because you should have done a diagnostic test after all the motor topend was completely off. My boat very well COULD HAVE WENT DOWN! SO DONT YOU DARE TRY TO BELITTLE THIS!

Dropped my boat off for routine scheduled maintenance on my Yamaha outboard. Overall great experience. Staff was friendly and courteous. Boat was dropped off on Friday and was ready to be picked up the following Wednesday. No problems. A+

Wonderful folks,great knowledge,and always helpful

Brought my boat for a simple recall fix. Now my transom lights are blown and my trim and tilt sensor doesnt work. the boat is 3 years old. The response I got was we will have to bring it in and charge you for the diagnostics. Thanks a lot 700$somewhere else and still having issues since I brought my boat here stay far AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This place is the definition of sketchy.Just to add after the childish response. You are right they wouldnt cause those problems 10 months later. They caused them immediately and I called immediately and this review was about the response I received. RUDE and almost like I was bothering your company to work on my boat. You can come on here and put things in caps all you want truth is I wasnt even gonna leave a review but im glad I did now thanks for nothing

Very nice people, but had some repairs doneour trailer. Had our boat for 2 weeks. Also rubber roller was supposed to be fixed was not. My husband does not want to bring the boat back. They will order the part my husband will fix it after we paid the labor.

This is the way a business should be run. Reliable, my boat was finished when promised. And they were able,to troubleshoot a serious issue the dealer was unable to repair. Great company.

I want to start this review by saying, it is summer-presumably their busiest time of year. Im sure they are dealing with more boats and more impatient people than usual. However the service I received here was very, very disappointing to say the least.My husband and I took our boat here on May 31, 2017 and just today picked it up on JULY 12, 2017. Our boat is pretty small with a 48 hp evinrude motor. We brought it here because we needed a new lower unit. We contemplated attempting it ourselves with the help of family and friends who have some engine knowledge. But because my husband is a band teacher at a local school, we wanted to make sure it was fixed right and QUICKLY, so he could be out on it as much as possible during his WELL DESERVED summer! St. Lucie Outboard has a first come, first served method when it comes to looking at and developing a plan of action for each boat, which they estimated to be about 9-10 days. After 2 weeks went by with no call, we called and they gave us the information. (Did you get that? WE called). We gave them the go ahead to order the part, they said it would be ready in a week (on a Friday). A week and a half goes by, WE gave them a call. They told us the part they ordered was no longer in stock so they ordered a new one, it should be ready in a week (on a friday). Another week and a half goes by with no phone call, so again WE gave them a call. They said the part they ordered was incorrect, so they ordered another one, it should be ready in 2 days. 5 days later, it was finally ready. This could happen to anybody, which is exactly the point- we could have ordered the wrong thing 3 times, Joe Schmoe could have ordered it wrong 3 times, but we brought it to PROFESSIONALS so that this wouldnt happen. Meanwhile our boat is sitting out in their yard exposed to all the Florida rain and sun for A MONTH AND A HALF, while it is garage kept here at our home.At this point, my husband now has one week of summer left before he has to go back to work. But because we were just happy it was ready, we were going to let all of this NONcommunication and wrong part ordering go, until we saw the boat. Now the lower unit and engine looks beautiful, started right up (hence the 2 stars instead of 1). But our seats are rusted and wont move, and the boat is filthy. When we asked why our seats are rusted and how we can undo it, he replied oh, just get some Blastr and it should just fix it right up. If it is so simple, youd think doing that and at least wiping our boat down would be the least they could do.LONG STORY SHORT:We chose a family/local business because we thought we could trust them more and that they would go above and beyond, and they DEFINITELY did not. I personally would not recommend them to anyone- while Im sure they could fix any engine, communication and efficiency are huge priorities when it comes to my valuable and beloved boat. If you can stand to go without those two things, then by all means go ahead and bring your boat to them.

I went there to buy hose clamps, got 2 for $6.00 . The man at the counter knew what he was talking about . Friendly person helpful no issues

No stars if it were possible. I asked them asked to check the engine bc it seemed to run a bit rough. They insisted the motor wouldnt start and therefore needed a carb rebuild. First of all, how would they know it was a carb problem (not a fuel system problem) if they hadnt actually been able to trouble shoot with a running engine ?!?! Got home. Battery was dead. Engine started on second crank after a 5 min charge... ? They really tried to pull one on me. Suggested carb rebuild would be 4 hrs labor @ $100/hr, which seems a little long. Maybe so for these monkey wrenches...
