I am an original owner of a 2002 Bluewater 2350 and have been part of the Bluewater Boats family since the early days of the Bahamas Rendezvous. I live in the Keys and use the boat often. Other then to repower, the boat has held up exceptionally and remains flawless. I recently had an issue with the fuel fill cap and tube and had a hard time finding a replacement. One call to owner Paul and bam, he had one in stock from the ole days and shipped it free of charge. Those interested in buying a Bluewater and reading their motto, Once you own a Bluewater youre a member of the family, is never more true. When you can have a conversation with the owner of a major boat building company, that says a lot about their integrity and professionalism. Buy the damn boat...youll love everything about it! ☆Weinerboyz☆ Respectfully, Vin Weiner
Best boat builder, period. I have had 2 and they are the best boat available.
I just bought a 89 bluewater executive series boat and cant believe how well it was made. The hull disign is great, holds nice in tight turns and does a great job deflecting the water away from the boat. The more time I have had in it the more I like it.
On my second Bluewater. 2550 and now a 2850. Great boats and great service.
Unfortunately I looked at a brand new 2550 Bluewater this past weekend just to see how it looked. Was very disappointed at what I saw. Having had a number of boats in the past and being a serious fisherman...my prior knowledge of BW was they made really nice boats. Well....this 2550 was a shock...batteries were located in the bilge (which was difficult to access with all the foo foo bench seating etc etc) at water level!!!! How in earth could they do that? This also had fit and finish issues that leads me to believe that it was never really inspected before leaving their plant. There were obvious chaulking problems and some of the hardware in the transom such the bait prep area where screws had come undone etc etc. There were some nice things about the boat such as the forrward fishbox/storage compartment that had room to store rods. But fishing was an afterthought on this boat for serious anglers and it looks like BW is only after more of a novice boat buyer/family person.Shame...I have had several friend who owned BW boats years ago and they were well made...I even fished on a few of them. There is no room to fish on this 2550...bench seats in the bow just dont give you room to fight fish.
