For being a small, local business youd hope to get some quality service and customer care. Brought a riding mower in as PTO wasnt engaging.. $300 later I bring mower home to have it break down while using it. Called owner who said it wasnt his fault.. well.. come to find out, the belt is too large.. which will cause me additional expenses. This company is a joke - CONDESCENDING AND RUDE. Read the other REAL reviews before you take anything to them.

Left mower to get spindal replaced. Got a call from them saying that they charged me for an oil change, 2 new blades, a battery,and belts on top of the spindal. On top of that I the repair broke the first time I used it. When I took it back the owner blamed me. I will never return there. Im going to C & C dist. Off Speedway Dr.

I have had my 2 mowers repaired here they were very fair and done the job in excellent time. I take care of a ball diamond and they made sure I got the mower back in great time. Very polite and friendly.

I can’t begin to express how disappointed I am with the customer service I received. Growing up on the South side of Fort Wayne, I strive to give back by supporting small local businesses in the area. My initial dealings with the gentleman, I believe to be the owner, went without incident. However, the customer service I received from a woman who answered the phone when calling back to check the repair status of both my riding and push mower, leaves me in disbelief that they are in business at all. I could provide a detailed description of the rudeness I encountered during my phone conversation but to keep this review short I am going to close with this; I think it’s safe to say that the majority of us put in a hard days work for the money we earn and when we give our money to someone else in trade for a service, that establishment should be friendly, show respect and be grateful for the business we choose to give to THEM. Based on the customer service I personally received from this woman, it has been clearly expressed to me that Marks Garden does not treat their customers with respect or friendliness and shows no gratitude for the hard earned money you choose to give. If you care about these things, I encourage you to take your business elsewhere.

Marks Garden Shop recently did a repair on my snow blower and I wanted to comment on how good the service was. The responded quickly to my needs, had a very fast turn-around time, were friendly, courteous, and responsive, and charged me much less than I had expected. I look forward to doing business with them again.

I called with an issue with my cord not pulling on my Brute lawn mower. The woman i spoke with was outstanding and knowledgeable. She asked me to try a few things before i brought it in. She was right!!! Outstanding customer service. All other shops just said bring it in we will have back to you in about 4 weeks. I will continue to use Marks garden shop. The repair was done right and the price was reasonable.but when I first dropped it off they told me they would call me in a week to give me a price and estimate a finish time. Well I called them back after two weeks of no phone call.they said it was finished and to come pick it up.so basically I was trapped paying them any amount because I was never called for approval of the price

Had to rent a Uhaul and easy to do business with.

Ive taken several machines to them and they have never actually fixed them. Three were warranty issues and they refused to look at them as such. They treat me like an idiot and try to get me to pay for warranty issues out of pocket. I wouldnt mind paying if they had better attitudes about it. Maybe its because I look young, or because Im Hispanic, but they have never actually helped me. I wish them the best of luck, but Im not going back there ever again.

I got no call after my power washer being there 2.5 weeks for warranty repair after being told it should be ready in two. The lady was rude during the whole conversation like I had wronged her. After cutting me off during the entire phone call, she said it is not under warranty and you owe me for looking at it how else do you except me to pay my employees. The audacity of this lady would not have me recommend them to anyone and I couldnt get paid enough to deal with her condescension again.

Only place in Fort Wayne that services lowes lawnmowers for warranty repairs takes them forever to get your equipment back to you and they dont fix everything that is broken I would not take anything there again Ill pay out of pocket for mutton power or Lees to fix my mowers so I get them back in a few days as apposed to a few months

This place is great, the staff here really seem to be educated. They have helped me numerous times on many different repairs on my equipment. They also have beenable to get my parts in a very timely manner. They do have a very good selection in thier inventoty.

Because we ask about what is going about our riden mower, they disrespect us and they said they gonna called cops on us. We have been their customer for years. Now, they treated us like an animal. What a shame!!

A friend had a Toro snowblower that wouldnt start, so they replaced it and gave me the problematic one. I took it to Marks, and they fixed it in about a week, and the price was reasonable ($100 to clean and tune it and to replace a few missing and worn parts). So I took in my Craftsman string trimmer that would constantly stall, and had to cool down after 20 minutes of use before it could be started again. They had it done in three days. I started it once, trimmed almost my entire yard (30 to 40 minutes) without having to restart it, and thought what a great job they had done, when it quit on me and couldnt be restarted. After a bit, I realized I had run out of gas. :-) I refilled it and it started on the second pull. I finished the whole yard with never a stall. It ran and sounded better than when it was new.

Rude, attempted to upsell me after one of the products they service failed to work during the first day of use. Recommended that I buy a replacement part, repair the unit then sell it at a garage sale. I have thick skin but this was simply insulting.

Odds and ends and locally owned small business are great reasons to support this shop. Bought some replacement parts for my chainsaw and later had my mower in for carborator repair.

Took my blower in to be repaired. After two weeks they asked me to call them back. The line was busy all three times I tried. Finally got through the next day and they told me it was unsalvagable. SUPER rude and condescending about it when I asked for further explanation.I dont recommend this place.

Guy was a rude on the phone after trying to charge me 20$ more for a part that i could get in a smaller town for less. im sure you would not be hard pressed to find another mower store with some real customer service, and better prices.

I dont understand any negative reviews. I watched him for hours give free solutions to situations he could not fix himself while offering his services for what he could do.

Paid $130 to have my Toro lawnmower issue diagnosed and repaired. They claimed to have fixed it but the issue still persists. Dont let these hacks rip you off too. Take your business anywhere but here.
