This pharmacy is staffed by two kinds of people: friendly, well-intentioned customer service types & judgmental, even cruel managerial types. Avoid this place if you seek compassionate service from the top down, not just a friendly face at the counter rendered ineffectual by the cold dismissal of human suffering demonstrated by those in power.

Extremely Rude and Judgemental

While the prices are better than Safeway, they are still higher than the Rite Aid website price and the prices at other stores. I paid $13 for Breathe Right strips that are $9.44 online. When I opened the box, there was a coupon that expired nearly two years ago. I dont know if the strips expire, but if they do then I was sold expired strips. It seems as if many products here do not sell so they just sit. The only reason for the second star in my review is the staff that was very friendly.

Pharmacy has a tendency to get very backed up during peak times. Very clean store for small town America. They also have a hand scoop ice cream service they have kept since the early days of the original pharmacy.

I have mixed feelings about Rite Aid. Even with the club card its difficult to keep track of sale prices. Unless its changed, you need to be a certain level to use some discounts or sale prices. The MoneyGram setup is awkward. A phone is setup near the registers where you call MoneyGram to do the transaction. The phone is difficult to hear, any mistakes result in starting over and there is no privacy for a call involving your personal/financial information.

I had a worker come up to me and very rudely ask if he could look in my purse because ha found an empty package close to where I had been standing. For one I didnt take anything from the package and I didnt put any thing that had not been payed for anywhere besides my basket I was shopping with and I wasnt even done shopping nor was I even close to the doors. I was very offended and didnt even care to give my money to their business at all after that but I proceeded to check out anyways and made it clear to the checker that I was not pleased with the rude employee who wrongfully accused me of stealing

They have a good pharmacy and ice cream!
