Tires were very expensive, even though they say the gave me a deal also they replace the front rotor and brake pads also expensive and the the rotors are rusting already, the previous one never rusted in 3 years.

This place is not good when it involves repairing your vehicle. I had been here twice to get tires they were always nice to me. So I it my car in for a minor repair. That was not a good idea. They charged me triple the cost it costs to repair. Also I still have the issue so they have not fixed it but basically scammed me out of my money. It’s they’re loss though because I have 3 cars if they had done me a good job I would have been a good customer with lots of business for them. But they will lose lots of business because of when the word spreads around how they will cheat you. Just never go here for repairs . Tires yes. But repairs Noooooo! Beware .

My first experience here was so wonderful I keep coming back even though I live downtown.I had gotten a flat tire while driving a friend to the airport one evening. I had the car towed here because it was within the five mile towing range my insurance covered. The shop was closed when I dropped it off so I left a note with my phone number on the car. They called me first thing in the morning. They gave me the options of a new or used tire for unbelievably inexpensive prices. I had just gotten a couple quotes for a new tie rod from places where I live in Lincoln park. Their price was about half. I also had them do an oil change. They did a fantastic job, since then I have brought my car back every time I’ve needed work done.I always get another quote from the car shop I formerly went to just to compare. It’s always almost half the price. It’s well worth the 40 minute drive. The staff is so friendly and honest. They show you what is wrong before they do the work. They are very professional and knowledgeable. I’m am so grateful I found this place.

I stopped in for a quote on some tires and was offered a great price on a set of 4 tires for my SUV. While I waited, the gentleman that helped me pointed out how bad my brake pads and rotors were. He was not pushy and was very polite and courteous. I agreed that I could use new brake pads and rotors and within 2 hours, my truck was ready to go.I was extremely impressed with the level of professionalism and courtesy given to me as a customer at Chicago Discount Tire. Not to mention the great deal I received!! The quality of work done and the parts and service were top notch!!! Anyone looking for honest work from a repair shop that offers quality service and parts, look no further. These guys are great!!!I will definitely refer more friends and family here!

I absolutely love this shop. Everyone is always nice and they tell you and show you what is wrong. Never had an issue with anything that I had done in the shop.

PLEASE SHOW YOURSELF&YOUR CAR SOME LOVE&RESPECT!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP, EVER!!! ANYWHERE ELSE IS BETTER!!!I dont think I ever had a worst experience at a car shop ever. They took my car in for the day to fix a check engine light on and a kicking feeling when gearing up, it cost me $700(supposedly a sensor issue in the transmission).Picked up my car, seemingly running good until 7 days later when the light came back on and the kick worse than before. Car goes back in the shop, Sam(man in charge) claims a part they replaced was defective so they need to call The Company (no name) to order another part. Ok, no problem. The car spends a night there, no update on the next day so my bf calls the shop and they tell him theyll call him back(yesterday). They never did so he calls again and again and again, no answer. Finally this morning he called again and hes told theyll call back in 10 min. They never did so he went to the shop and the car is not even there and nobody had seen it. He asked if they have worked on it today or yesterday but it seems nobody had seen the car. So he called the cops, not even 5-10min later Sam shows up with the car yelling and screaming that nothing is wrong with the car.. my bf asked where was the car for the passed hour (or better for the passed 2 days)since he arrived in the shop, Sam claims he took it for a test drive (absolute nonsense if nobody in the shop ever saw the car all day) They never did anything on my car and took the money, car is still there and I cant wait to get it out of the shop. Im afraid theyll do more damage to it than repair. THIEVES & LIARS!!! They take only cash and give only hand written receipts with no legit warranty for anything they do. Absolutely unprofessional, very hostile and rude to customers! GO ON YOUR OWN RISK!!!I shouldve read the comments before I let all that happen. Pray for my car 🙏 and possibly me when I get in the driver seat..***UPDATE***Only a week after all that the same thing happened to my car so I took it to another mechanic who was very honest and told me the code he sees is P2716 which means its electrical and it has something to do with programming. He suggested I take it to the dealership. After few hours at the dealership they determined they had to replace the ECM and finally my car is running good. It took them exactly 2 hours to do that. Another$900+ ot of my pocket but worth it. I wish I could get my money back from SCUMBAG Sam for lying to me, he did not replace anything at all and took $700 for nothing.

ALL BEWARE !!! These people are thieves and they will promise to fix your car and then cheat you and take your money without fixing anything. They lied to me, took my money and wasted my money. Don’t go there. I just reported them to the police, to my credit card ans to the village of Franklin park.

Chicago Discount Tires is a good place to have your car worked on. The work is great and the price is just right. For a small/midsize garage they get the work done right. You will get treated with respect and leave there knowing your car was fix right and for a good price.

We had a flat tire off the interstate and we called while on the side of 294 to see if they had our tire in stock, they did and they gave us a towing company to call. When we got to their business, they were SO KIND. They got us in and out within 30 minutes, made sure we could ask questions, and had everything we needed. Everyone was so generous. Highly recommend!!!

We went in an hour before closing, and still got helped rather quickly. The place felt very friendly. My boyfriends tire had been flat for a few days (I know, we should have fixed it sooner) and these guys replaced it rather quickly and painlessly. No haggling, and I didnt leave feeling cheated. I was referred by my brother. He said he had a good experience here, so I went it for a new set of tires. I received nothing but professionalism and hospitality. I wasnt made to feel like Im just another invoice number. After all was said and done, left with a set of 4 brand new tires and a free wheel alignment! Great experience!

DO NOT COME HERE ! They said they were going to fix my car to come the following day around 5 pm . I never got a phone call for an update . I called before coming in and they said it wasn’t going to be ready and that they would call back, again I never got one ! I went the next day But when I got there it was closed. Four days with out an update . When it was ready they told me the problem wasn’t fix . They were simply guessing . I paid $750 for nothing !! I took my car to a bmw dealer and they told me it was the oil filter . Prior to that I brought it here for an oil change, they messed up my car and ripped me off ! DO NOT DO NOT COME HERE !

Long unrealistic waiting times

I went in for new tires to several places. Firestone said my Mercedes needed new tie rods, wheel alignment and a few other things they made up. After all, they gave me an estimate of $1400!!!! I went into Chicago Discount Tires; they were very professional and attentive. They had my car insoected, all I needed was new tires and an alignment. They gave me a great price on a set of new tires and they threw in a.free alignment!!! I SAVED MORE THAN HALF!

I life saver. Having a bad week and returning home to S. Ohio from Minneapolis I got a flat tire right at OHare on 193. Told to go see Marwan at Chicago Disc. Tires on Mannheim and he would take care of me. It was close to closing at 7p and without hesitation he was able to help. Didnt quite have what I needed but offered a solution that would meet my needs and budget. Many places would probably have taken advantage of the situation, but not here. Thank you for being a gentleman with integrity, cant tell how much I appreciate it.

Discount my @$$ ..... Really horrible business and they are liars. First they talk you into this great deals they have and doesnt even follow up to it at the end. They are waaaay to overprice. Better off going to firestones. There is no camera SO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A WITNESS AND VIDEO TAPE WHAT THEY SAY... DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CAR UNSUPERVISED. THESE PEOPLE CANT BE TRUSTED..... Cause they will rip you off once they get you to agree to the first deal and doesnt honor it. I tried to get my tired back but they said they already got it taken away.. So youre forced to pay the new rip off expensive ones because its their word against yours. If i would of know i was gonna be charge for an arm and legs i would of been prepared or just gone to firestone, other than that their deals are complete rip off... Dont fall for it.... And if you dont car about being rip off then this is a perfect place for you
