I have ordered from Serendipity twice (via Uber eats) and they dont disappoint!I got the The Curious Bear the first time, and was perfectly seasoned, a hint of smokiness in the cauliflower, and the Jony sauce was delicious. Simply amazing!This time, they were out of the French Toast, they substituted 2 waffles. I was blown away, they had a cinnamon sugar crunch on the outside, warm and soft on the inside. Served with butter and syrup. I also got the grain bowl (for later) and the oat and chia porridge with berries.My spouse got the biscuits with sausage gravy, bacon, and a croissant (they commented that it was the best theyve ever had). All of this made for a super satisfying brunch. We will be ordering from here again and look forward to visiting in person soon!

A grocery store that serves high quality breakfast and lunch. Had french toast and waffles that were amazing!. It was open before most of the other stores on Saturday morning. I suggest having breakfast/lunch here then visiting the other local stores.

What a delightful cafe! The staff went beyond basic kindness and is very friendly. Nice setup to allow indoor seating amidst pandemic safety requirements. Food is delicious and theres a great selection of dry goods.

I love this place. Really tasty and healthy options. The egg white sandwich with the pesto is awesome. So is the power bowl with the thai peanut dressing.

Got the Power Grain bowl, the cheese along with the vegetables in the bowl were rotten. Their coffee wasnt good either.

Lee DeWyze sang Sweet Serendipity, youll think it was Gavin DeGraw or Jason Mraz but it wasnt...Now that we have that out of the way, Serendipity Market allows for delicious moments of bliss.With great sandwiches, salads, soups, and specials, you can get a taste for everyone in the family. There was also a Key Lime Pie that yelled sweet nothings to me, but I did not heed its call.While daily the care and value is there, Serendipity also does themed boxes for holidays and occasions. My wife really enjoyed a spa in quarantine thanks to their tea box!Stop by with the knowledge of good food and that Lee DeWyze existed.

We had a delicious Thanksgiving with takeout from Serendipity today! Everything was delicious from the meats to the sides to the desserts. They even delivered FREE extra items to our home when we realized we were missing some things. They went above and beyond to make our meal special!

The cafe in the front has excellent food! Love the sandwiches and soup. They are also very accommodating. I wish the grocery part offered local goods and healthy options though, I might as well stop at Giant with this selection. But then they also have a great art gallery with local art and a space upstairs you can rent. I really like this place and just wish they had better groceries. 🤗

The Lavender Moon latte was great, not super sweet, but I loved the combo of lavender and ginger!

Serendipity Market & More is a little market and cafe in historic Frederick. When we stopped in, COVID safety measures were in place with safe distance seating and mainly a to-go menu. There was a kind woman from Germany taking our orders and even gave our daughter yummy fruit snacks, which she LOVED. She kept talking about the woman later as her new friend. My wife and I ordered lattes. My speciality latte had coconut in it, which I usually dont like, but this one tasted smooth.

Always friendly and the store always looks clean. Good products and customer service. The attendants are helpful, polite and happy to serve customers!! Great place to shop.

Very cute store with a nice selection of grocery items. It was really fun to walk around and check everything out before grabbing a drink and something to snack on. The cafe part is also very nice and is a great place to sit and chat with friends. Would def come back again if I was in the area

Today my wife and I ordered from here. I ordered the biscuits with sausage gravy with eggs and potatoes. The gravy is clear grey color, and tastes as though the sausage gravy was microwaved. Potatoes with onions and peppers also tastes and looks as though theyve been microwaved. The eggs also taste watered down and as though theyve been sitting in a tray, similar to how you would find them at a hotel free breakfast.I also ordered the macaroni with a desert kids meal. The macaroni is Kraft box macaroni which has been overcooked, mushy, with shredded cheese on top. Also it included some carrot sticks which were not fresh and a bag of Motts fruit snacks.How is it you are charging 8+ per entree and 6+ a kids meal for what seems to cost you a dollar or two and a few minutes in the microwave?Will not purchase again and I strongly discourage others from eating here.

We love Serendipity. My good friend and I have difficulty finding a restaurant to eat at because I’m a vegan and she’s not. So we go every weekend we’re able. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. It’s a lovely, eclectic market/cafe and super comfortable to visit and hang out at.

Worker at the front did not wear a mask, kept taking it on and off. I felt pressured to get food from there and she made me feel uncomfortable when I didnt want anything. The worst part was that she kept taking her mask on and off, behind the counter, rubbing her face with moisturizer and then handling my food. Also the food was insanely subpar for the price.

Great little market that has a little bit of everything. Excellent for a quick pickup, the meats are local grass fed and delicious. They have fresh fruits and vegetables and mixes for cocktails among other things. Definitely try their ice cream its locally made and pretty damn amazing. Great for a pop on breakfast lunch or dinner, too.

Beautiful, inviting store that will become a social hub in downtown Frederick. Its great to have a reasonably priced store to be able to pick up a few necessities. There is a little bit of everything including fresh vegetables, diapers, household needs, etc. The owner, Diane, is creative and artistic making a comfortable space to have a sandwich and relax in the back room while surrounded by local art work. Having a wedding party? Rent the top floor, its a perfect space for a gathering. I wish her all the luck in this new endeavor. #Realtor

I hosted a baby shower here for my sister-in-law and it was fantastic! Aside from the store location being trendy and fun, the owners were wonderful to work with and the food was delicious (we did tea sandwiches, soups, salad and pies for dessert). I held a party for 35 people in the upstairs loft and had so many compliments on the space and the food. Its really hard to find a good event rental in downtown Frederick that isnt overly formal, or more than what you really need. I would definitely recommend Serendipity to anyone looking to host a small event/party, its pretty and fun, and the staff are very easy to work with! Would highly recommend!

So this is an odd place. You can go shopping and grab a latte or other household things..... i like it but I almost feel as if it could use more organization.

This is a great place in downtown. You get that family feeling when walking in and that is exactly how they treat you. It has great food and is very convenient for you grocery shopping needs. That also have great food.

Such a cool store with many options if you want a healthy snack and great prices! The owner was so friendly and even ran after us with a bottle of water as a gift because we mentioned were on a long trip today and about to get on the bus. Also such a pretty area, I wish I could live here!

Its a great downtown market. The staff is always helpful. If I dont see what I need on the shelf, I ask. Invariably, they get it out of the back. I highly recommend them!

Great hangout for a friday night. Live music from the locals. Bring your guitar and your voice, all are welcomed. Menu is ok, its been hit or miss.

I tried the Brightwell sandwich and it was amazing. Ill definitely eat here. Nice variety of locally sourced food (including baked goods). They also have a nice little art gallery in the back to showcase work from local artists.

Filling downtown Fredericks need for a grocery store. Also a great place to stop for breakfast and lunch. Very friendly staff. Also really impressed that they have cut back on plastic use and use real dishes, cups, etc.

Best place in town to meet with a wide variety of spaces, tables (round ones also) and seating options downstairs and up stairs for dozens to meet or just me by myself. Excellent food, good selection of necessities and luxuries and wonderful, friendly staff.

Thanksgiving was delicious thanks to this lovely place. Can’t wait for Christmas dinner. They prepared a “just like homemade” meal me and mine and it was heaven being able to enjoy the day without the stress of cooking.

Good fresh food. A bit slow, and overpriced for the portions - we got the bowls. Very eclectic offerings - in addition to fresh food, you can buy a 1964 Kennedy half dollar, local artisan soaps, and more.

Cute market. Went there for a private event in the loft room. Only one bathroom at the very opposite end of the private room though.

This is a new-ish shop here in Frederick. Very nice people, and very eclectic group of items. Local artists work is displayed in the back, and there is a salad/sandwhich shop available for lunch. The store part has a limited selection but a very diverse offering set. Mostly I went there for the locally made items, like cookies, candies, and such.

The food is very good (and affordable), the owner and folks who work there are very sweet, and the Open Mic on Friday night is a lot of fun (mind you, I am one of the hosts for the Open Mic).

I bought their Organic Bake At Home Bread. It is amazing! Their fruit is ripe and ready to eat. This has become one of my must go to places for food!

What a great find! My husband and I split the turkey sandwich and greek bowl with our 2 toddlers, plus we bought a bag of maui onion chips and a chunk of smoked gouda. Everything was SO GOOD and high quality with reasonable prices. The peanut sauce with the bowl was especially delish. My kids were really comfortable in this atmosphere and the owner was super nice and accommodating. They have big spaces in the rear for groups or families. I love that they support local businesses and farmers and do so while keeping the prices reasonable. I look forward to our next visit, which will be very soon!
