The pharmacy is woefully understaffed. Long, long line at the drive up, around two corners of the store, so I went inside. Long, long line inside as well, but at least people were getting served. Once inside I saw that there was no one servicing the drive up! No wonder there was a long line.Five hours after calling in a prescription and it still wasnt ready. They said they would expedite it if I wanted to wait another 90 minutes.Surely theres a better pharmacy in town.
I love the fact that this CVS has a drive thru, and that it is open 24/7! I go here often to fill my medicine and I do not have any issues. Sometimes their line is long and wait times can happen. Overall, I like this location better than others.
Extremely poor customer service, the pharmacy does not answer the phone they leave you on hold for 15 to 20 minutes at a time and you are forced to listen to a recording about CVS giving out covid, and flu shots over and over again. Two days of trying and no luck talking to anyone!! The people responsible should be FIRED!!!
Horrible service and completely disorganized. Someone picked up one of my prescriptions and it was not me. However, they were unable to tell me who picked the prescription up, despite asking for a drivers license when prescriptions are picked up. Was told that it was my responsibility to get my insurance to pay for the prescription since it had already been filled, even though I didnt pick it up. It is concerning that this store handles drugs. When a medication is a controlled substance, there is to be a chain of responsibility for that medication. Oh, someone picked it up isnt an acceptable answer.
Generally a poor choice of pharmacy to go to. The only plus is the 24 hour convenience which is peppered with surprise night time closures announced by a handwritten paper sign that theyll reopen in the morning. Ive been going here on and off for years only for the 24 hour convenience, but they consistently seem understaffed, overwhelmed, delayed and miserable - even long before the times of pandemic.Ive been trying to go somewhere else now, although my doctor still accidentally sends my prescriptions here sometimes.
When a pharmacy member doesnt take the time to solve a billing issue and sends the customer on their way that is a problem. Then you have to figure out the issue on your own by spending over an hour on the phone. I had the both insurances (the insurance company that they claimed was showing active and the insurance company that was my actual primary). Ive worked in a pharmacy before and insurance issues are solved by the pharmacy techs, not the customer. Also, Rebecca was very rude and also accused me of yelling at her, which I didnt! Maybe she was confused. I was definitely aggravated, but I most certainly didnt yell. CVS please properly train your pharmacy staff. Thank you
Waited on hold forever then hung up on in the middle of the hold.
Not sure why the reviews for this CVS are so poor. Went in and found everything I needed very quickly; the store is kept well stocked, organized, and clean. The associate that rang us up was very friendly and definitely improved the experience!
Im so happy this store is back to 24/7 after limited hours due to covid. I have no complaints. I have been getting my prescriptions from this location my whole life with minimal to no hiccups
I had one visit after a problem with a pair of Walgreens stores, and this place was much better run.
This CVS is not opened 24/7 as advertised
The staff today around 1245pm to 115pm were extremely friendly. They greet you with Sir how are you? Do you need any help finding anything? And when youre done shopping they leave you with a friendly good bye.Now I havent used their pharmacy yet, which could determine if I give it 5 stars or drop it down to 3 stars or even 2 stars. For the primary reason for CVS will be its Pharmacy and to pick up small supplies. That being said their staff is extremely chipper so far and I enjoy that about this location for other CVS dont have staff members as friendly.
Rude Pharmacy.
Love 24 hour convenience and drive thru as I have a toddler and it is nice to stay in the car. They are usually fast as well.
Their pharmacy department couldnt be more rude!! Not just one person but multiple people. They should be there to HELP people and answer questions and not get an attitude like we are bothering them. I have been going to them for over 12 years and I am changing to Walgreens. They were more than happy for my business!! I never write reviews but I felt the need to. Management really needs to review who they are hiring. I have also gotten WRONG advice, wrong medicines, and meds that I was allergic to after telling them multiple times. Unacceptable when this is someones health we are talking about.
Picked up a prescription last week and they asked me if I wanted to refill prescription A. I said no.The next day I get a call from them asking if I wanted to refill prescription A. I said no and informed the person on the phone I said no yesterday too. This morning is stopped in to pick up a prescription and they handed me two. ???? They auto refilled prescription A against my wishes. I returned it to the pharmacist.Five minutes ago I get a text message informing me that prescription A had just been filled and I could pick it up.
Cant go wrong with CVS. Staff is friendly and love the coupons. Nice upgrades at the Jefferson st. location.
Last night(9/9/2015) my son was very sick and I managed to find our family doctor over the phone to prescribe him the required medication. The doctor was kind enough to spend 30 minutes with us on skype and he called the CVS pharmacy on 402 S Jefferson St. I went right away to the CVS to get my son medications and I explained to pharmacist the situation and requested her to get me the medication faster. The pharmacists was very rude and she even didnt want to listen to me and she gave me the med after 45 minutes. I was late at night and I had no chose otherwise I would have NOT gone there. It is a shame for a health care worker to be so unconsidered.
Horrible pharmacy. One pharmacist there, a larger man about in his thirties or forties, with glasses and balding (I dont his name) extremely rude and pharmacy always has one pharmacist handling ten people. I had been in the hospital and was prescribed pain medicine for a very bad compound fracture. The pharmacist wouldnt fill the prescription! They are not doctors and they arent God. I know theres been an epidemic of prescription drug -well, all kind of drugs for that matter, but the bad apples shouldnt ruin life for those with real injuries. A pharmacist follows doctors orders, he doesnt make them. It just takes one bad pharmacist on a power trip to make ones life miserable from pain. A pharmacist has customers, a doctor has patients and take an oath to do no harm and prescribe accordingly. I guess this particular pharmacy takes their customers (not THEIR patients) for granted because they are open 24 hours. Store also over priced. Often, pharmacy employees are told to make their customers wait, so maybe theyll buy something in the store! Shame on Frederick CVS for hiring incompetent pharmacists. I had a broken arm and hand, so after a miserable painful night, I had to make yet another taxi trip because of CVSs power trip/paranoid pharmacist! Stay away! There are too many other, compassionate pharmacies in Frederick. I went to Walgreens instead, where they respect the doctors judgement and they promptly and professionally filled my prescription.
Customer service is outstanding. Especially among the night/evening crew. Ive always been treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. I can imagine patronizing any other pharmacy much less any other CVS.
I called the Pharmacy department with a few questions and the woman on the phone seemed very rude and uninterested in assisting me. I attempted to ask her a question and she promptly hung up on me. Very displeased.
This CVS sucks. Me and my husband stopped going to them cause how rude they were. There personality sucks big time. CVS you lost us as a customer.
Best pharmacy service I received !!
Excellent service for a very busy pharmacy. visited on a saturday night and was amazed by their service
LIKED THE CVS AT FSK MALL.THEY FILLED MY RXS IN 15-20 MINUTES. DONT LIKE CERTAIN PHARMACISTS AT JEFFERSON ST.NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED BY CORPORATE HDQRTS.
I dont know about the entire store, but the pharmacy staff is utterly unprofessional; we were kept waiting for over an hour for a prescription they did not even have in stock. The only reason we discovered it was not in stock was by happening to overhear one pharmacy worker talking to another; they didnt even tell us directly until we confronted them about it. Fill your prescriptions elsewhere.
If you want to add to your ailments, go here because the waiting, unprofessional-ism and rudeness you will be subject to is enough to make your blood boil. The ONE pharmacist who was there acts as if doing his job is a horrible inconvenience. And I think the only thing they specialize in is not making eye contact. Yes, yes, thats right...if you cant see me, I must not be there!! After years of being a customer here, I can take it no longer. Switching immediately.
The only reason we go there its because its 24 hours, I literally had spoke to someone 10 minutes before we went to pick up the medication to make sure they had it, and when we get there, they said they didnt have it. Very incompetent and unprofessionals!
Farhoud. Worst service ever
Humans work here!
The pharmacist was nice, but I did buy a water at the front desk and I was talking normally and the guy at the front desk told me to calm down because I was to loud.
Avoid this CVS if at all possible. Pharmacy staff is rude and spiteful.
Wouldnt give me my prescription even though I had the papers that said my doctors sent it to them worst pharmacy ever
The pharmacy lady was very rude and refused to help me with getting my perscriptions refilled after I told her that I was going on vacation and needed them....She told me that I needed to contact my insurance company which I did and the insurance company told me that the lady was wrong and she could have refilled them without the call ...
They have a red box there.
Horrible place! Never going here again!!
Dont depend on them getting your Rx ready at a reasonable amount of time. If the Dr. calls in a Rx for you, it goes to Voice Mail. Get my drift
This CVS doesnt deserve to exist. Terrible service. Go elsewhere, period.
Works for me
