If you want to step back in time youll love this place. Its been in Frederick for a long time. My dad says they have the best coleslaw.

If you remember the famous white star hotdogs. They have them, and they are the best hotdogs around!

I really like Massers for breakfast food. I like locally owned places better than chain restaurants. Nice little place with good atmosphere for what it is. The western omlet was very good and the scapple was thin and crispy like I like it. Real home fries from real potatoes, not from a freezer somewhere. Service was quick and friendly. Beware its cash only here!

Everything I have eaten here is great, vegetable beef soup, Rueben sandwiches, fried oysters, pistachio cake etc.

Service was friendly and fast loved that the sausage was freshly padded not frozen patties definitely reccomend eating here

I stopped at this small local cash-only restaurant with high hopes. I was blown away by the breakfast food - its the stuff dreams are made of if you come from the city. The bacon and real homefries were crispy and perfect!! The eggs were just right. Highly recommend!

Absolutely deplorable.. Eggs were over hard.not medium..a thin piece of ham so overdone it was like jerky.. I wanted homefried potatoes not deep fried..the sausage patty wasnt fit for consumption..and the service..please totally lack there of...her cell phone and gossiping was very evident that they came first..so very sad..you would think they would take more consideration to the public with everyone trying to survive. A TREMENDOUS DISSAPOINTMENT

Old-school eats circa 1950s, simple, good fare, very good prices. Not sure if they take credit cards. My wife and I have a nice breakfast or lunch for $20 or less easily.

Very nice, small, family-run restaurant. If you like the small Diner this place fits just fine. The food is always fresh, comes out pretty quickly. Prices are very very reasonable. Theres plenty of parking, well-lit parking lot. They open at 6 a.m. so if you need early breakfast youre good to go. Been a customer there for 7 years and I keep going back. Its worth it.

Excellent diner done well. From the look and feel to the price and taste it was diner perfection. And the nice lady running it was terrific to my grandchild while there. Well worth the stop!

Basic home style food that taste great! Not fancy at all but that is what is great about it. They just make tasty home cooked food. They claim they make everything fresh in house and it tastes like it. They no longer have a motel and seem like they are doing work from the outside but they ARE OPEN! Great food at good prices with excellent service. This is our new favorite go to after a long day when we just dont want to make dinner at home.

We come here at least a couple times a month for breakfast. My wife likes the scrapple while I prefer your basic bacon & eggs. Youll always find good food at a good price.

The meat loaf was terrible. You could tell that the mashed potatoes were instant bacause of how dry they were. The waitress had an attitude and not only that she acted as if we werent customers. The we were soliciting or something. Just a terrible experience.

Frederick has several diners, most are good, but Massers is the king! The creamed chipped beef is great and youre not gonna go wrong having it served over home fries that are, get this, potatoes that have been cut and fried in house! The prices are absurdly affordable, (grilled cheese and chips for $2.70!).The authentic diner experience is one that is dying in America sadly and Frederick is so lucky to have Massers, a place where you can actually get home cooked food at a reasonable price.

Place is kind of a dump. The home fries were fried in so much oil that it tasted like I was drinking the vegetable oil straight from the bottle. I wouldnt recommend.
