Unbelievably great food. Locally sourced Amish ingredients are fresh. Service has that 5 star Michilan quality. Customers range from royalty to the common man and every inch of humanity in between. Fredrick MD location. Tip accordingly based on the quality of Amish source food and ABOVE AVERAGE SERVICE. Keep places like this alive and well in your backyard. This facility has TRIPLE FILTERING AIR service. No bug here (my opinion).
A good nutritious meal for a decent price. I got a sandwich and salad. Good ingredients, like nutritious types of lettuce in the salad rather than just a bunch of cheap iceberg lettuce. Service was good. Sandwich could have been slightly better if the bread had been toasted, but not a big deal.
Highly disappointed with the service at this location. Julie was our waitress and apparently she was uncomfortable with serving our table, a party of 3, as she danced around the surrounding tables with ease checking on them frequently, but barely paid any attention to us. I ordered a mango mimosa which she apparently forgot about until I asked. The kitchen manager delivered our order to us and I asked him about the half full mimosa I had received. He confirmed that it was made per their policy and I told him that it took an abnormal amount of time to receive our drinks. He apologized politely and offered to bring us utensils, which Julie failed to do. The food was good as it usually is at Silver Diner. However, Julie may need additional customer service and diversity training as she seems quite uncomfortable working with customers of a diverse make up. I reluctantly gave her an 18% tip as I choose to live by the philosophy that when they go low we go high. Next time I meet up with a friend I’ll be sure not to recommend this location. 3 stars for the food. Zero stars for Julie.
Food wasn’t cooked done for my uncle, came out wrong for my cousin, dry French toast! My salad was great tho and the crab cakes my aunt liked. We were traveling home to DE and passing through. Won’t go back. Server very nice…
My husband and I unfortunately had a poor experience with Silver Diner - Frederick this evening. After ordering through a delivery service, we received our country fried steak and eggs with a few added bonuses. The eggs still had fragments of egg shells on them and the country fried steak had a piece of paper fried onto the batter.We expected better from a long standing chain establishment.
This place is a MUST try! I have not had any better food within the northeast USA. This place deserves HUGE credit. They are doing every detail with the best ingredients. Louisiana shrimp in the grain bowl were excellent. Crab cake is in my top 3. Overall the menu is one of the best Ive seen anywhere. Great staff. Ill be here once a week from now on.Update:. Had the summertime cod, excellent as well.
The food was AMAZING and our waitress was fabulous! Im a vegan and there were so many vegan options to choose from. You will leave there with a satisfied and full belly! I will 💯 patron this restaurant again!
I like the ambience, friendliness of the staff, and my dinner for breakfast choice. The two family members with me werent a fan of the roasted potatoes that came with their meals, but there are plenty of options that we will be back to check out.
We had a great experience at the Silver Diner! Our server Jose was very professional, pleasant, and attentive. He made sure we were happy with our meal. We dined outside which was perfect for us given this pandemic situation and it was great. They have the outdoor tent in a location that provides great shade and a nice cool breeze. This was a random choice for us, but we were pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. Thumbs up on the food, great server, and dining experience.... We will be back!😊

A nice modern take on a diner with a lot better food than most. Love that there are a lot of menu options and that there are options made with fresh ingredients instead of traditional fried food. Also have great milkshakes and drinks.
Absolutely delightful experience, my mango mimosa was one of the most refreshing, delicious and decadent items I have had in years. I was having lunch with my daughter in law, who wears a hijab and is self-conscious and often hesitant to go out to eat due to experiencing reactions to her religious attire in some restaurants :( However, I had to come on and give a review because our server made her feel confident, comfortable and just as welcomed as everyone else. Unfortunately, that is a rarity when it shouldnt be, but the young lady (I believe Julie? Julia? Gorgeous young woman with bangs and blonde hair, I apologize for being so bad with names)- who was our server should be leading company trainings on diversity, customer service, racial relations, and just overall how to create a welcoming, customized, beyond enjoyable experience for ALL customers. Silver Diner Frederick, youve got yourself a winner in this woman. I was shocked shes not a manager or trainer, it was absolutely amazing and my daughter in law is so thankful for her wonderful nature and professionalism.
Worse food and worse service ever! My family and I took my mom out for her birthday celebration. We paid so much money and couldn’t eat the food. The kids food and our soups were cold, the steak was burnt. We tried to manage it but honestly could not finish even 1/3 of our plates. On top of that the crew made us feel uncomfortable as they were starring at us the whole time we were eating as if they were gossiping.I felt really bad for my mom and the money I’ve wasted.
Amazing diner, love that they have Vegan & Gluten free options. Great food is hard to find. I think there should be more fresh fruit options though.The manager was extremely helpful in locating my loyalty number and making sure my order was precise before leaving the restaurant. Thank you!
First time customer, at Silver Diner in Frederick md. today. What a great experience! The food was fresh, warm and plentiful. Crab corn chowder, Giant French toast, waffles, chocolate cake and more were so good. We were outside under a tent in the rain and we stayed dry. Staff was fantastic to us and the facility was clean. What more can you ask? Can’t wait to return to continue sampling their broad menu.
One of the best breakfast experiences I’ve ever had!Every employee was beyond kind. Our server, Whitney, didn’t miss a beat. Our food was excellent. The Country Scrambler was the perfect thing for me to try as my first time here. One of the diners that came with me is vegan, there were plenty of options and every option she ordered exceeded expectations. I can’t speak highly enough of our experience, I definitely encourage anyone to stop here for a bite.

I love love loved the Silver Diner! The atmosphere of the 50s style with modern touches. And not to mention everything they use is farm to table and organic. 10/10 recommend. I had chocolate chip pancakes with eggs and bacon, were superb. My boyfriend had a sausage omelette with home fries and devoured it.
Visited August 2021. A tent outside was great as an alternate choice for dining. But its not served by the waitstaff. So get your food by calling ahead, etc. Then sit in the shade. Nice! Relaxed!! Food is good and the gluten free selections are asked right on the menu and plentiful.
I went on a busy morning and the wait turned out to be a lot less than expected. Food was great and the service was even better.

Service was Awesome! Went in with my two daughters today and it was amazing they loved their spaghetti with sauce and fries. I had a eggs Benedict Wich was wonderful!. Our Server José was such a sweetheart very generous young man with a whole bunch of manners!! His laugh is so contagious that even my daughters were laughing with him. Sat outside and had an enjoyable meal. Wife had shrimp over quinoa with greens mixed in and I had meatloaf. Both of us enjoyed our meal. Service is quick and pleasant.

We are here for a wedding so we wanted something close to the hotel. This diner has excellent food in cute surroundings. Inside, its a classic diner with cozy booths. Outside, theyve turned some parking spaces into a patio complete with a tent and flowers. My crab cake Benedict was the most delicious Benedict Ive had in a long time.

I absolutely, hands down, love this Silver Diner! I fell in love with Silver Diner in Northern VA, but when I found out Frederick, MD was building one and I met the chef, I am one happy gal!! The food is always spot on. And, the menu offers something for everyone! I am vegan, gluten free, sugar free, and dairy free, and I have no problems finding food to enjoy here. I ordered the Just Eggs Benedict so delicious! All vegan and you would never know it! The vegan cheese is oooey-gooey yum! The taste of bacon from the tempeh...you MUST try it! My daughter had the blueberry oat pancakes..I snuck a bite for my dessert..yum! Theres nothing here that I have ever eaten that I have not enjoyed. I myself, have been in the culinary world for over 22 years. I know how difficult it is to find good, wholesome and delicious food. This is one of those gems!
Great Food and service was even better! I was sitting relatively close to an Incident that occurred. I believe Katelyn was their server, she handed a cup of soup to her table where the guest put it very close to the edge and spilled it all over herself and the server. The server asked if she was ok and the guest assured her she was. The manager was very quick to bring napkins over and apologized again. I could see that the server was in excruciating pain but continued to be apologetic and was still prompt with her service. Great job silver diner Frederick!

A bit disappointed. Service was not good at all. Food was okay I ordered wings with celery and they brought me 3 very small pieces if celery . I asked for a side order and they brought me 3 small pieces so I asked for another side order and yet again they brought me 3 small pieces and charged me for 2 side orders. I ordered unsweetened tea and when it was time to refill I was informed they were brewing some and I never saw my waitress again until she brought me my check. Update: Corporate reached out to me genuinely concerned so I returned to give them another shot although ai did not order wings. The food was Fantastic and the service was good . They care about their reviews and the service they are providing to their customers.

Upscale diner food that was beyond awesome. The decor is very nice and I especially enjoyed the small juke boxes like the ones from back in the day filled with a wide selection of music genres. Have gone back several and will visit again in the future.

Fantastic food and service. All their food is straight from farm to plate, and great. The vegan options are fantastic too. Im not vegan myself but Ive had a few of the vegan options out of curiosity and its all wonderful. One of my favorite places in Maryland.
Great food and friendly and helpful staff. You dont have to go to downtown Frederick, pay to park and deal with traffic and sit in a noisy restaurant where you have to shout to be heard by the people you are dining with. You can get a great meal right at Westview Silver diner
Wait time on food is ridiculous. The food is better than your average diner thats trying to mimic NYC diners. But overall a solid 2/5
Probably the nicest diner I have ever been to! The menu is amazing and full of healthy high quality ingredients! It may look like a diner but the food choices and quality are that of a fancy restaurant! ...Everything we have tried has been so tasty and great size portions....and lets not forget the homemade ice cream shakes!...wow!It is also the cleanest place I have seen in a long time. Both the dining area and restrooms are spotless! The decor is up to date and in perfect condition. The staff is wonderful..professional and so very accommodating! One of our go to places to eat when we are in the area

This place in my humble opinion, is absolutely magical. Very friendly, efficient and exceptionally quick service. Very reasonable pricing. Amazing food quality and selection. Above all the atmosphere is very inviting with a nostalgic 70s feel. I love the little jukeboxes that are set at each table with the selection of music from different ages.
This is not your typical diner. Better quality of food, great choices, organic!! Love that. Friendly staff, clean, you still have the old vibes of a diner. Definitely recommend!!
Every time I come into this establishment I am greeted with the best service. Great atmosphere and greater management! Bring anyone who has never been to Silver Diner and they’ll love it.
Good menu. Nice atmosphere. Food was great. I love a place where you can get breakfast all day. Diners often have trouble with the delicate balance of having a large menu all offered all day and making quality dishes. Silver Diner seems to do that. I had chicken and waffles with sausage gravy which was very good. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals. I will come back.
Shrimp and grits are creamy and well done.( Saturday 11 am) service was a bit slow.

Normally they have great tasting Burgers. Yesterday the hamburger was Luke warm and not tasty. I believe I was given a bison burger. I asked for the non bison Burger. Fries were also Luke warm. Waitress was great!

1st post-pandemic restaurant meal amongst friends. Outside under their tent, and weather was comfortably warm without humidity. Food was well prepared and portioned. Jose, our server was spectacular. He handled our group (10-15) well, with no complaints.
I often take my friends to this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I visit this place often. This recommendation is always successful. The the cooking is appetizing and the stuff is efficient and cooperative. Whenever we go to this place we pass a gorgeous evening. highly recommended.
I havent been here in over 5 years, and I return to a new menu with a bunch of yummy vegan dishes! The dishes I ordered were absolutely delicious and hearty, I love that they were able to pivot and cater to the vegetarian/vegan crowd. Our server, Mario, was absolutely amazing. He was super friendly and kind. He checked in with us multiple time throughout the meal, which was very personable of him. He went along with my dads cheesy cat jokes which is a huge plus. Mario made the experience amazing. Well done
The breakfast is usually good. When I ordered a burger the options the server gave were medium or well done. I ordered medium. The outside had color, but it was cold and raw in the center rather than warm and pink like a proper medium. Its a bit too expensive for such a basic mistake.
Last time I had this good a burger delivered by Uber was... NEVER!Plenty of pickles and onions on the side. Perfectly crisped yet moist bacon. well buttered buns toasted to gold. Glittered with mildly sweet, flavorful barbecue sauce laced over mildly molten cheese. Meat spells I.AM.BEEF in full caps.This burger is $16 plus. That is a crazy price to pay for the best burger I had. Sure you can have grander burger with foie gras but this... apple to apple will be hard to beat even in NY’s Hell’s kitchen.
Classic diner fare upgraded. The country fried steak was great and the sundae was big enough for 3 of us. Would absolutely recommend this place!

The reason I left a 2 star review is because of our waitperson. I love the food and that was awesome the waitperson was just the worse. We saw her when ordering our food and when it came to paying. I had ordered some coffee and it was brought to the table only half full and the waitperson never came back to see if we wanted more I was glad I had also had water or I would have been in trouble. On my way out I told the people waiting to make sure that they were not seated in her area. My mother left an 18% tip in my opinion that was way too much.
Its consistently good..both food and service. And I dont feel like Im eating at a greasy spoon even though its a diner. I believe dishes are made with organic meats and locally grown vegetables. A decent variety of vegan options for my daughter which is worth at least two stars just for that.
No sausage gravy and biscuits? And the biscuits are pretty good, so this is a real loss!

They have options . Also great service and recommendations.I got the soy shake and lamb meatball wrap. It was fresh and delicious!!Also had a true diner feel. Working table jukeboxes with speakers for only a quarter you can play your song and it plays over the tables and the loud speaker through and outside the diner.Would love to stop again

We visited while on our way back from D.C. to Pennsylvania. The food was very good we got a burger meal and a chicken tender meal as well as sundaes. The menu had a lot of options and the waitress was amazing. The prices however are insane for what they offer we spent $70 on a meal that should have cost a little more than half that. Since the value is not worth it we will likely never visit again.
Fifties diner vibe, but the food is all fresh, locally sourced, non- GMO. Open for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner, with a huge menu. Special diet options (low salt, vegan, diabetic, keto, smaller portions, etc.) are available in a nice variety. I have never had anything at Silver Diner that wasnt absolutely delicious.

First time here and we had a great breakfast!!Western omelet with cheddar cheese, potatoes and biscuits - delish!Egg scramble with sausage, mushrooms, peppers, potatoes, covered with gravy - yes please! I would have liked more egg in it and the potatoes cut up smaller, but the flavor was great! And it came with fruit and 2 small pancakes.Service with Carolyn was fantastic! She was very good and told us about the rewards program.The only thing that would have made it better would be to see teamwork among the staff. Many people standing around while tables were dirty, etc.
This place is great for both dining in and take out! It looks so cute inside and outside, and their food is absolutely worth the price! The servers are also really kind and there are SO many options here! Id recommend dining out though, because it seems to be a lot of people inside.

The Silver Diner in Frederick was awesome. It was packed. The food was fast, full of flavor and tasted great. Our waitress was amazing. She was sweet and very attentive. We had the Southwest Turkey Sandwhich and the Turkey Club. Both sandwiches were awesome. You definitely have to stop by and give them a try. Check out their website... many locations.

Was super surprised to see that the diner is totally farm to table and all- diet friendly. They have gluten free toast and vegan eggs which I didnt even know existed. Also the complexity and huge variety of options was almost overwhelming just because everything looked amazing!!!!!! Great, prompt service we forgot to tell our server we were on a time limit, but there was no need! Will be back for sure!!!!
This place was great!!! Super cool 50’s like ambience, fantastic food selection, friendly fast service, clean and soooo good. The tuna melt was to die for! I ordered via DoorDash on another night and it was another delicious experience. Highly recommend!!

Silver Diner Frederick gave me a reality vs expectation experience.I read all the good reviews and I arrived with family in good spirits.They are adjusting to the post shutdown dine in service.There was a considerable wait time for our food.Appetizer and entree arrived at the same time.Presentation was nice.Fries were cold and stale. Coleslaw was warm. There was chicken in my sandwich and I didnt order anything with chicken.A yelling match between the manager and a staff member wasnt a pleasant experience either.It was my first visit to the Diner and I wont be returning anytime soon.Hopefully you have a better experience.
Expertly prepared meal, and appetizer. Large portions. Would have liked to have swapped out the fries on my meal with something green, but I think that was my fault.
Jessica was a great server. The outside dining area is very nice. The food was incredible, the mimosas were strong. This was the first time I visited, but I will definitely be coming back again.
For a diner, it really impressed. The menu was more upscale than youd usually find but there were some old favorites included. Food was tasty but a little on the higher side. The only complaint I had was with the bacon. It was very cheap and lacking flavor. Good overall experience.
Overpriced, teeny tiny portions & clueless to rude staff. Club sandwich=2 tiny pieces rye bread, 2 tiny slices of turkey, 2 fat laden pieces of bacon, old lettuce for>$15. All set no thanks.
Great spot, the food was really good and the server was great. We were a large party of 10 plus and still they were attentive and helpful. I loved the liver and onions, made perfectly. When we had a party member that needed to leave suddenly for medical reasons our server had our checks and to-go boxes out promptly. Also there was a nice selection for my vegetarian friends.
Today we entered, This lactation about 9:30 ish it was already starting to fill up. This location is so wonderful and very nice dinner, the Bison huevos rancheros recommend by our server Jose were amazing, Jose was very professional, you could tell he enjoys working and making sure people are happy and enjoying their stay, He also was taking care of other guest that were Spanish speaking And for him to be switching from Spanish to English every second to make sure everyone is okay is wonderful!!! Thank you guys will definitely be coming back!!!
Our office eats here regularly and the food is fresh and delicious. Mr. Reyes does a great job with the customers and from what we see with the staff also. If your looking for some great food try this place. They also have vegetarian meals for all the people that prefer to not eat meat.

You know what’s really nice? Meeting people that do their job well. I went to Silver Diner today during a busy time inquiring about purchasing a cake for my Mom’s Birthday. So random, right? I’m sure this was not a usual request but both Jennifer O. and manager Mike took time to make it happen! I’m sure they most likely don’t get many “bakery” requests but, who knows, maybe now they will! The chocolate cake looks amazing! Cant wait to try it! Thanks again guys!
