They are always friendly here. I needed 40 small mullet and he took the time to sort the bigger ones out for me. Love them!

A little pricey over $5 /lbs for dead shrimp and they only take cash. Convenient location though.

My son and I came into the shop just after it opened and were pleasantly greeted. We had a small bait pail that was filled with enough live shrimp to keep us fishing until noon. We also purchased a net and Baby Bubbler to keep the shrimp alive. Our experience here was great and I recommend this shop to everyone!

This is where I go and get live bait, typically shrimp, when I come to Freeport. The price is on par with everyone else and I never have any issues with the amount they give. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Its a small bait shop but you can find what you need for fishing /crabing. Plus the staff is knowledgeable about fishing in the area and can give you great leads for fishing in the area. Ive caught reds, sheepheads, croker and catfish when I fished in the areas they suggested. So please stop by and tell them Robert sent you. And did I mention that they have great prices on their bait and tackle. Ill post pictures on my next visit.

I was directed to this bait shop by a local business owner and was told it was on of two places to get live shrimp from near Surfside, TX. This place did not disappoint. They have live shrimp, mullet, mud minnows etc and other odds and ends for fishing. We bought a bucket for our live shrimp from them The young man that help us was very knowledgeable and friendly. He informed us that they open at 4:30AM and suggested we get there before 6AM (the Saturday morning rush). My father-in-law went by the next morning before 5AM and was able to get some very nice live shrimp (some were even the size of prawns). Great place with great service and a very informative and knowledgeable staff. If you are ever in Freeport and are in need of some good live bait, I suggest you try Rodbenders Bait and Tackle.
