Avoid this place. After three months of not fixing my reel they said parts were being ordered... then 6 months later I call and Im told my reel is ready to be picked up... they didnt even touch it.... lures are overpriced and staff was rude..

Have used this shop for reel repairs many times. Ship the reels to them, they send an estimate, I send a check, reels come back good as new for a fair price. Whats not to like.

Sea isle tackle used to be great years ago. Now it is absolutely pathetic. I walked in here a few weeks ago just to look around. The store is half empty. Hardly anything in stock. The owner seems like he doesnt care anymore. He is clearly running the store into the ground. Go to Freeport bait and tackle. The most friendly, helpful staff you will meet. Freeport bait and tackle is always fully stocked with everything you will possibly need.

I found this place through Shimano for a reel repair. They repaired a baitrunner that is good as new. I sent 3 fishing poles with broken guides. Got them back today, they are good as new! I cant even tell they were repaired. Awesome job guys!! Very nice workmanship. Im spreading word. Thank you for being good at what you do!

Thanks for the help guys, we will be back for bait, lures and more great fishing advice!!! I had a small problem with my rod, manufacturing problem, and they replaced it, no questions asked.

I hope this helps people since this place is locally known for having a terrible reputation.I went here to get my 2 shimano reels serviced since they are certified through the shimano website.they told me it would take 2 weeks as opposed to shipping it to shimanos repair center in cali.I brought in my reels and received a lot of attitude. I wanted to list the parts that were damaged since I do routine maintenance and they told me that if I know the reel so well, I should repair it myself.I was never allowed to speak to the repair person.the reel ended up taking more than 3 weeks to be repaired. I called once a week and they would give me conflicting info depending on who I spoke with. some would say the parts werent ordred while others would say they were ordered but hadnt arrived. then I was told they arrived but no time to do the repair. a few hours later they were repaired but only one of them. the other needed a bearing and it would take another day.I picked up the reels and they were not working smoothly as I had expected. only some of the bearings were replaced and any improvements were gone within a few weeks.I now order my own parts and do my own repairs.save yourself the trouble and money. avoid these arrogant uninformed people.

Ive gone to this place for years but no more. They are such a ripoff with their used reels. $550 bucks for a used shimano tiagra 50w????? I can get a new one on ebay for that price. And $300-$500 dollars for a custom rod. I have a couple of surfrods that only cost $50 bucks and they are awesome. I guess they think that custom rods will catch more fish. LOL. And the owner isnt even friendly. If you walk in, he doesnt even ask if you need help. What a grouch. And the reel repair guy is grouchy too. I guess nobody is happy working there.
