Great doc. Detailed and thorough.

I’ve been a patient of the Optometry group for 20 years. Every year, the staff greets me by name and treats me like family. Their glasses selection is expansive and fashionable. Their staff always makes sure I have a perfect fit and can see clearly before leaving the office. Terrific customer service and warm friendly doctors. I highly recommend!

Called to make an appointment and was assisted by a completely unhelpful person. She pushed to try to have me book a week day even though I stated I work those hours. Then when I specifically asked for a Saturday she said they were booked. I then asked “you’re booked for all Saturdays” which she said yes to. There is no way that they are completely booked for every Saturday and she clearly didn’t want to help. Why be open if you don’t want to work?

I have seen Dr. Tom since 1984. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough with my everchanging vision throughout the 30 plus years. The office staff is very professional and helpful every time I have an issue with my glasses or contacts. A lot of my friends have been coming to The Optometry Group since the ’80s. I will continue recommending them to all of my family and friends.

I have been coming here for almost 3 years. Dr. Tom has been absolutely amazing. I have been wearing glasses since I was 8 yrs old. I have never had an Optometrist be as patient as Dr. Tom in helping me find the right prescription and fitting in contacts. Last summer I came between 6-7 times before we found a solution. I would highly recommend Dr. Tom for your vision needs. Also his staff is very friendly and helpful! Maribel always has taken such good care of me and my family.

I have gone to The Optometry Group at Baybrook for over 15 years and The staff is always so friendly and helpful as well as the doctors! I have had to call for emergencies and was told to come in the same day I called! The hours are very convenient as well as the location. They have such a great selection of frames and contacts. I recommend this group to everyone I know!

Dr Tom is great. The office staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Maribel helped me pick out my glasses. She is patient and very friendly. I referred others and they loved it too. My friend Elisa has started taking her family there. She is very please with her experience too. Great place to get glasses or contacts.

1. Walking in there was like walking back into the 90s!!! Literally, some of the equipment and their furniture is so old yet they have that place so tidy and clean! :)2. Dr. Phyllis was AMAZING, she was very kind and patient with me. She knew exactly what she was doing. Prior to coming to Optometry Croup Ive had 3 different Optometrist tell me that my vision was uncorrectable and the closest they could get me to was 20/25. To my surprise Dr. Phyllis got me to 20/20. I literally cried.3. The ladies there where also so polite and allowed me to try on as many pairs of glasses as I wanted and dealt with my annoyingly picky self without an issue.I highly recommend this place! I will definitely make this my permanent optometry center!

My son and I both use this place, weve seen all of the doctors at different times (yearly exams etc.) and have had nothing but great experiences! I highly recommend choosing The Optometry Group!

Dr. Tom is very courteous and thorough. I never feel rushed during my visits and he always answers all my questions. I would definitely recommend him, but be prepared - he will take his time with you and in return you will get the right prescription. (My Lasic doctor said they only allow Dr. Tom to do their follow up exams because nobody gets more accurate assessments!) I have been going to The Optometry Group for over 20 years and I will go nowhere else.

More than 25 years ago, friends referred us to Dr. Dan Tom, they and their two adult children, and my husband and I, all six of us still go there.

Im 25 years old and have been coming here since I was three when my parents realized I needed glasses. They always treat up right!

Staff is very nice and provides great customer service very friendly and helpful i highly recommend coming here we have been loyal customers for 5 years now!

My husband and I have been using the optometry group for many many years...and the staff are very nice... but the service has gone down hill...if you wear contact lenses they never ever have your prescription in for samples...and even with insurance we still walk out passing 4 to 500.00 its ridiculous...

I love the Optometry group they always make me feel like I am family, the staff is friendly and they always go that extra mile to makes their customer happy.

This place is expensive charges 2x to 3X times the market price on lenses and glasses. I got ripped here. Stay away from this place.

Dr. Tom is great - very kind, patient, and answers any questions you have! I was suffering from allergic contact blepharitis and his treatments healed me up within a week!
