Started out by accepting a 10 AM appointment online and never even looked at my car until almost 3 PM. A neat trick to force my decision to use them but had to know they couldn’t accept 10AM when they accepted. My appointment clearly said “check alignment”. When I checked in the listed “Alignment” as a service. I corrected them and told them to call me before they did it. When I checked with them latter that afternoon they said they did the alignment I asked why, without checking with me, and got no answer. Later they changed the story and said they meant they completed the check. Another neat trick. Finally, they ran a diagnostic check because my airbag light was on without telling me there was $120 charge. Said it would be another $360 to remove the seat to isolate the problem with no guarantee they would fix it. I declined. I went home, simply flipped the seat up, saw the wires, found no damage, flipped the seat back down, and walla, light went off. You think a skilled mechanic would know that models seat flipped up? Another neat trick. Watch these guys, very slippery.

Fantastic experience here. I only had to get a simple safety inspection completed on my 1986 Dodge pickup. I called up to this location and asked if they could get me in and out. They squeezed me in. I was out in and out in about 20 minutes.Friendly staff. Great location. Small parking lot.There is also a Speed Shop in the back.

Took our car here for Timing belt and other maintenance, LD team did a great job,very happy with the work. And they got it done in a timely manner.

Definitely take second opinion if they recommend any big changes. For me they gave $2K immediate maintenance required but it just need coolant water change.

My wife called and explained to the guy that someone was wanting to charge us an arm and a leg to fix an issue on my truck, seemed to be empathetic and told us to bring it in so they can look at it and possibly help just to show up and find out that they charge $450 (4x more than the other place) just to look at it!!!! At least the dealership was putting that “looking” fee towards the repairs. Waste of my time. Definitely wouldn’t recommend but to each their own experiences. Just thought I’d share mine.

Spoke to victor here at LD, I had a1993 Honda accord lx (towed it in at 6pm) asked him if they can calibrated the cylinder heads. Absolutely- dropped off the keys Wednesday morning was out that same day.Jonas informed me about the outer tie rod(driver side) that needed to be replaced. I was aware of already. Got more parts coming in, but overall I was very pleased. I do my own work my vehicles but when I run into an issue internally issues Im definitely going back to LD. I wanna do a 2jz swap on my Honda but in the future. So Im looking forward for more services from them. - Diego Herrera

Jonus & Gabriel over at L.D. are awesome!!! I brought my vehicle in the morning around 8:00 am to have the front upper ball joints replaced on my 2007 Chevy Tahoe. After waiting on the vehicle for an hour they noticed I was sticking around to wait until the job was finished. Jonus decided to have my car expedited so I could be out of there by 12:00 noon. They have the best customer service out of anyone I have used outside of a dealership.

They were able to diagnose within minutes how the dealership reconnected wires back on incorrectly after a recent repair. They could have easily took 2 hours for a full circuit inspection, but they were honest. Happy to have found a new place to go for vehicle service going forward.

While everyone is nice and professional. We wont be returning. 1, they messed up on my husbands car and put the wrong tires on. They did credit us the difference and exchanged out the tires, but the timing and inconvenienced to us for work was a kill. 2, My AC. AFTER SPENDING over $1700 AND MANY MISTAKES MADE ON THEIR BEHALF. MY AC is not working after just 3 short days of having my car back. We will not be returning. Hopefully it was just a mistake on their behalf, but we arent willing to have any work done at this point

I am a customer for life. I had Victor from LD Automotive look at my car and informed me what was wrong with it and was honest about the parts that I needed.I paid for my car to get inspected at Van Hyundai. They did not find anything wrong with my car besides my shocks, the service was horrible, the prices were outrageous, they changed the price on me without telling me, and they added additional fees to get my car inspected even after we agreed on a price.LD Automotive found parts that were going bad, even sent me pictures of what they found. They did not try to hide any fees for the work that was gonna get done.I am so glad I took my car here.

I had several issues with my car so a friend of mine recommended that I go to LD. From the moment Gabriel picked up the phone he was courteous and friendly. They provided that was very reasonable and fair. My car was ready sooner than expected and worked perfectly. They informed of a few things that I may need to address in the future but wasn’t necessary to do at that moment. I took my car here after an infuriating experience with a replaced battery at a different auto shop. I had the battery replaced at previous auto repair shop about two months ago. I had car show same problems after 3 weeks so took it back to previous shop. After 3 weeks, a similar problem so I figured I would take it to what I have seen as best reviewed shop in Frisco. Jonas took a look at my car very quickly. I noticed while at the shop a positive feeling from all customers that interacted with them which is always a good sign. Jonas diagnosed the problem quickly. The battery terminals werent secured very tightly at all. I took it for granted since I would figure previous auto mechanic shop would take care of this for me so I didnt double-check the connections. I know this isnt the most complicated solution to a car problem, but I felt it necessary to review because of the quickness and courtesy I felt from the staff in general. I highly recommend taking your car here and I know I will be doing the same. Nothing but good things to say about this shop.

I took my three-year-old truck here and was told that my whole complete AC needed to be replaced for $2200 come to find out it was a part That I Could have got replaced for about 800 to 900. Spoke to a buddy of mine that used to work for this company and he told me that they are known for over selling what is needed. 6 months after replacing a complete air conditioner the AC in the truck does not work again.

Over the top in customer service. Very rare to find the warranty that is given with this company at other places. Makes it worth the minor drive from Allen. We take all of our cars and trucks there knowing we will not even have to use the warranty that they do offer. Anything can happen so having that warranty just gives you the reassurance that you need. Also knowing that they are high integrity, honest run company is just icing on the cake. Love the custom made center console that was also made by Loaded Dice so 2 in one makes it even better!! Repairs one day and then restoration done too!! I come to this shop routinely when something with my project G35 is beyond my pay grade. They did a great job replacing my lower control arms, battery, and terminals. Theyre very transparent and show you exactly what the parts and labor will cost. They will tell you exactly what your vehicle needs. Fair prices and quality work will make me a life time customer.

Ive been meaning to write this review for a while now. These guys are by far one of the best in two categories: 1) Their customer service is fantastic. Theyve always been clear with us on expectations, they quote services before they complete them and their follow up is awesome. 2) We take both our vehicles to them for everything from inspections, tune ups, oil changes and scheduled maintenance. Theyre not only willing to work on just about any type of vehicle, their attention to detail is impeccable. In a world full of rushed service and no focus on customer service, its nice to find a family run business that continues to exceed our expectations.

I needed a front drive axle replaced and an alignment on my Altima. I called an made an appointment for the next day. I am new in town so I checked their reviews on Angies List and Google. They have many good reviews and this will be another good review. They fixed my car the day of the appointment, they have competitive prices, and are very courteous and professional. I will use them again. They also checked another issue on the car for a small extra charge. This auto repair shop is good, I recommend them.

My car needed a brake job before a road trip. It was a short notice but L.D. Auto got it done before closing. This shop also refinished my rotors instead of making me buy new ones. Communication was superb. They called to tell me that my oil also needed a change. This will be the only shop that I will use from now on.

My son took a road trip from Colorado to Dallas and while there his car started acting up. My sister did a search on Yelp and found LD to have high ratings. They got the car right in the next day and didnt worry about it being a Subaru! Thought it was fixed, so I left, but it was still acting up, so they had me bring it right back and stayed persistent until it was completely fixed. They worked with me on cost as they knew I was from out of town and this was an unexpected expense. I sat in their shop almost all day and they were kind, courteous and persistent. John said, I will figure out whats wrong! And he did! Cant thank you all enough! To John, Jonas, Derek and the crew. Thank you so much for sticking with it and putting my mind at ease about my son driving back to Colorado with his friends. When I gave him the car back. He said he never knew that it could run so well. He thought it was like new! Great job!

Great, honest service on our car. They investigated the problem we were having, discovered it was an issue that would be covered by our manufacturers warranty and even called the dealership to verify the warranty coverage.
