For those also looking for Canadian Passport Photos, a point of information: not a major criticism (my star rating is meant to be neutral), but I did come here with the understanding that they could do it, though they also had caveats, so I should have realized at the getgo that they in fact could not do the photo. What i got was not compliant with the myriad of Canadian rules, you need to go to a place (probably a more formal studio as indicated in the regulations) that is more explicit with their claim of being able to do Canadian Passport photos. One of they items is that its bigger than a US passport photo - 2 x 2 3/4- in which the head needs to be at least 1 1/4 tall (and then, again, a host of of other requirements). So $15 and time wasted.

I have been using Parcel Plus at the Kentlands for more than 15 years. Although the small store is in a very quaint space along a shopping strip in our neighborhood, I find the variety and quality of services to be amongst the best businesses in the area. The staff is very efficient in technology, versed in Postal Mailing and notary; and are familiar with other processing venues in nearby locations. The store is chock-full-of other items, such as cards, business supplies, toys, and unique gifts. The owner and staff are friendly, extremely professional and dedicated to delivering excellent customer experiences at every channel touch point. Even when customers come in with unpacked material, which should be ready to mail and process in most cases, they are accommodated on the spot. Parcel Plus at the Kentlands is a very busy location. However, the staff always strives to meet the needs of customers by providing exemplary and excellent quality services. I would highly recommend Parcel Plus at the Kentlands to friends, family, colleagues and visitors looking to expedite their postal services and emergency shopping needs.

I have used Parcel Plus many times in the past years for notarizations for myself and family and I’ve recommended their services to my friends. I love their unique selection of cards, gifts and varied office supplies. I brought my 80yr old sister in at one point for help with her Will and power of Attourney documents. They were so helpful. Do call ahead to make sure the notary is at the location, at the time you want to go. I can’t recommend them enough!

I had sent some documents to be printed and for pick up later that day. The store contacted me as the documents were password protected and they noted they could print them ahead to make pick up faster. I appreciated that proactivity, but the documents were personal and I preferred to provide the password in person once I arrived. The store was very accommodating to this request. Once I arrived at the store, the process was very smooth and I left with my documents within 10 minutes. The store also has plexiglass in place for COVID protection and only allows limited people inside at this time.

Parcel Plus is a tiny store full of boxes, office supplies, post office needs, and friendly and helpful employees.

I loved the service. Last November 2019, I had to make copies of materials for important events. The owner and other staff members helped me get everything I needed on time. They even helped me print names in the Tent plates. The price was economical compared to competitors, and the experience was way friendlier. I love this place.

I have always had an excellent experience at Parcel Plus. I am efficiently able to get a variety of tasks done here ...whether I need a document notarized, scanned or important documents fedexed. One day I forgot .my mask and a I was given a mask. It is very convenient to have Parcel Plus located at Kentlands and I highly recommend it.

We faced a problem: how to get a large table leaf to our home in Los Angeles. FedEx and UPS couldnt handle the packing. We were only visiting Gaithersburg and couldnt do the packing ourself. We found Parcel Plus on Yelp and gave them a call. The response was they could do it. Still skeptical we went to Parcel Plus where the work was handled professionally, competently and at a reasonable price. The table piece reached in a few days in perfect condition. They are TERRIFIC!

I lived in Gaithersburg for 12 years starting in 2004. During that entire time there were plenty of opportunities to use the services of Parcel Plus. Whether it was a need to make copies of a document, to return merchandise I had bought online, to mail gifts, or even wire money overseas, Parcel Plus was always there. I even used their notary service! With reasonable prices and a friendly staff, I always felt welcome as a customer there. I really appreciated the fact that they were open during hours that the post office wasn’t. As a busy professional that was very convenient for me. In fact Parcel Plus was my go-to if I needed something sent quickly in the mail. They even had a nice selection of unique cards for every occasion. I really miss the great service I got there! I hope neighbors in the Kentlands area know about this great store!

I went there to get my documents notarized, everything is fast and easy. It is recommended!

Very disappointing.I called and asked if there was a notary there. I was told there would be tomorrow.The next day I went up there, documents in hand. Was told the notary was on break and I would have to come back later.I came back an hour later. The young lady that helped me the first time saw me come in and told a man who was sitting behind the counter eating a sandwich that there was “someone else here for a notary”.What followed was a mini rant about “notarizing is getting on his nerves” and that at this rate he’s “not going to be able to get anything done”

Its 10am, they are suppose to open at 9am. Just left there and doors were locked. Owner was on Google evidently 20 minutes ago responding to a negative review. I think the priority should be to open the store?

The folks at Parcel Plus have always found the best way (fastest or most economical) to ship anything I have brought them. They will also take care of the packaging if you need it. You cant go wrong at Parcel Plus.

Do not dare bring UPS Amazon returns here. I waited at the counter for awhile while the owner seemingly ignored me and he was extremely rude when he did finally acknowledge me telling me that he hardly makes any money on these deliveries and that I needed to have my package completely taped up since he cant be wasting his products...worst customer service I have received in a long time!

I think this is a GREAT little shop offering very important services to people in our area. I had to be on the phone for Hours? once getting faxes on some Very important financial information and they let me do that! And get the faxes. I couldnt have asked for more. I Love all the people who work there, quite professional, no matter what their ages are! Andrew has a great English accent. And the greeting cards collection they sell is Fantastic, one of the best Ive seen in a Long time. I STILL send those cards thru REAL Mail because everyone Loves to get them!

Very kind service and pleasant store, but be aware that the rates charged for services are VERY marked up from what you would pay at other shipping locations. Rate to ship a box was twice what the same box would cost to ship at the post office. I don’t begrudge a small business owner a bit of a markup, but I think their prices are excessive and I won’t be returning.

The line was nine deep at USPS, and these guys had no line and mailed my letter to England for less than $3. Also had toys for my kids! Very nice.

We have been coming to Parcel Plus for years, we also have a mailbox there as well. Eileen, Lorraine and Andrew are really wonderful and always handle our (sometimes strange) shipping needs. We receive a lot of packages there as well, and its great knowing they get delivered safely versus sitting outside of our home. They never bat an eyelash when we come in with something large that needs to be wrapped and shipped carefully.It definitely gets busy in there sometimes, but the staff always does a great job of handling everyones needs.Thanks for being awesome :)

I was worried about shipping a large framed print, but the young man who helped me assured me he would take care of it. And he did! It went across country without any damage! The lady that I believe is in charge saved my butt recently. I forgot to record a tracking number on a UPS shipment I left with Parcel Plus. The recipient denied receiving the package. I went to Parcel Plus to see if there was anything they could do to help me. That lady at Parcel Plus took the time to go back in their records and find when UPS had picked up that package a month earlier! She then tracked it for me and told me when it had been delivered. I was so glad Id used Parcel Plus. Not sure other places would have gone to the trouble to help me that she did.

I use Parcel Plus for all my shipping needs - FedEx, UPS, and even USPS. My favorite part is that they are open longer hours than the post office, and are full service. I can drop off a package here, or if I need packaging supplies (boxes, filler) they can handle that for me as well. I am also able to get their recommendations on the best way to ship my packages, since they are able to provide a variety of services. One stop shop!

I come here often because I live close by. I went there today just to either buy a box or wrapping for something that I prepaid to send. I was charged $1.99 for the material, in which I had no problem with. What I have an issue with was the $1.99 I was charged for services. I feel like I was overcharge by the who I believe was the owner, she is a older looking white female that usually works their.

Ive had two bad experiences with this company stemming from frivolous changes. The first incident was in February 2019, I was dropping off a return to Amazon, small box, prepaid label attached, a simple drop off with no labor on there part. I asked for a receipt for tracking purposes, The owner Andrew told me the charge would be 50 cents if I wanted a receipt. My business requires package shipping several times a month and this was the first time any company requested payment for a receipt.The second incident happened today, I was dropping off a small box that needed three small pieces of tape to secure the package from not opening during shipping. They changed me 75 cents for said tape which amount to less than 12.I will never return to Parcel Plus, We have too many options in our area to be nicked and dimed by such a company.
