I have a grandfather clock that was hitting one of the notes too low. You could just barely hear it. The clock was working great. He came to my house and told me he couldn’t guarantee he could fix the one note in the chime. I told him to try. After 15 minutes he said the gears were all worn out and if I want it to work right he has to rebuild it for $800. There is nothing wrong with the gears or the clock, it was just one note not sounding right. He charged me $200 and the problem was NOT fixed. After he left I played with it for ten minutes with a screwdriver and pair of pliers and it’s working great now. I will never use this guy again. I gave one star because there was no option for zero stars.

Im getting ROB in this business...I came to fix a Band for Cheap watch and want to charge me $89 to FIX A BAND!!!!I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU TO NOT LEAVE YOUR WATCH IN THIS BUSINESS

I have been dealing with H&E clocks for many years. Eugene has come to my home on a regular basis to service my grandfather clock. I have found them to be honest, reliable and reasonably priced. I have also made a number of purchases from them over the years including my grandfather clock back in 1988 which still keeps perfect time.

This place was the worst. I had a grandfather clock that needed repair. Pretty basic.... just got overwound. He had this for 10 weeks. It isnt repaired . Its ridiculously slow and the chimes dont work anymore. Now hes giving me a hard time about a refund STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!
