We had to stop here to get a tire checked. It turned out to be something simple. They were so nice and didn’t even charge us to get the tired checked. Highly recommended.

Im sitting here now getting service, regardless of how that turns out this team should be commended. I came in on the tail end of a transaction that the young lady at the front could have gotten really frustrated about, she took a breath, and was super nice (suffice it to say the customer had his trailer jamming up the front entrance). Ive seen her train someone on their systems, help a customer with a tire that was repaired where he had concerns and she answered them, 2 other customers situated, and handled something on the phone with her manager that had spilled over from yesterday. I think anyone that works that hard and can stay pleasant deserves kudos. For the tire Im getting fixed I feel confident it will be just fine, and seeing what the lady at the front desk is doing in the last 10 minutes, I have the utmost confidence in their staff. Heading to Disney World, blew a tire on I-95 about 8 miles outside the SC/GA border, on a Friday evening. Roadside assistance got my spare on, but I knew it wouldn’t make it to Orlando. It was close to 530pm, called 2 places that said they couldn’t help me, even if I got there b4 closing. So I just drove to Savannah Tire, it was the next closest place. I got there 10 minutes before they were scheduled to close & they said yes & put on a new tire. Oh my goodness, I couldn’t thank them enough! Amazing!

Great customer service (Cornelius) was very helpful 👍. Went somewhere before going here and they told me i needed to align my 🚗. Which if when i took it to Savannah Tire they would have went ahead base on the service i request...the problem i had would still exist. Cornelius make sure the mechanic did a check and they were able to have my car feeling better at a reasonable price. Thanks guys will be definitely using you for my services going forward.

Very honest and upfront about any issue and very clear on how something may not be so important to get fix right away and also how very much it is important to get it taken care of right then. I would give 0 stars if I could. Never take a flat tire in to be fixed. They will always try and sell you a new one. Even if they have to make up industry standards or lie about the condition of your tire. 4 32nds of tread is not to low to repair. That’s actually 25% of the tires usable tread life.

A wonderful crew all around. From new, old, or even work vehicle this shop does it all. Oil, tires, batteries, flushes, wipers, filters, alignments, brakes, suspension, a/c, check engine light, radiators, axels, tie rods, putting new rims on, I could go on and on.

We had an emergency flat tire! We called 10 other shops and they were one of the only ones that answered and could take us! They staff and manager was very helpful and friendly! December 23, I went to this location because another could not handle the job. Upon arrival I met with Jason the manager, exceptional businessman! Very customer service oriented!! Took my car back, and started immediately on it, The young lady at the counter I can not remember her name but she was the most sweetest lady ever, asked us if we needed anything and told us where everything was, even apologized for not being in the front because she was doing her job! We explained she didn’t need to apologize that was her job, she just didn’t want us or anyone for that matter to think she was hiding in the back and not doing her job. After 40 minutes I got an emergency call about my nephew and I was frantic, this young lady came quick to me and gave me a hug and ask could she find someone to drive me home, she was such a sweetheart and felt mine, my daughter, and nieces pain. She tried to keep the girls minds off of things as I was outside trying to prepare myself to let them know what was going on. This lady needs a medal!!! She was amazing and hands down the best ever CSR!!! Amazing job and crew at this location with huge hearts! I will recommend this place to everyone I know!!! (Jessica)

In fact, the technician had already been sent home and it was just the managers left.They didn’t turn me away, they didn’t complain. The general manager himself fixed our tire and saved our vacation.I can’t speak highly enough of these folks here.

Dishonest and deceitful place of business.Went in to see them in the middle of December 2019 to replace a slow leaking valve stem in my vintage C10 truck with the original rally wheels.Was checked in with the person behind the desk and I pointed out the truck in the lot and said please be very careful this is a vintage collectable truck They said no problem our guys are really good you dont have to worry I thought no problem because it was a simple tire valve replacement from the new tyre I had purchased off them the year before and was a 15 minute job.I waited in the waiting room until my phone rang, so I went outside to take the call.While I was out there I could see my truck being worked on by the young technician. I was watching him walk backwards and forward from my truck to his tool box getting a bigger pry bar each time. At first I thought he cant be working on the truck, because all he needs to do is use the air unpack driver, remove the five wheel lugs, take the wheel and tire to the tyre machine, deflate it and replace the valve with a new one. No he was pushing the pry bar in to the wheel trying to remove something.I questioned this with the girl behind the counter and she said you have nothing to worry about we are the best there is Ahhhhh ok.After 45 minutes (remember this is a tyre valve replacement) my truck was driven back around to the lot and the job sheet was brought inside.I was told I was good to go, but I asked for a copy of the paper work.When I walked over to my truck I went around to the passenger side front wheel to take a quick look. It was then I saw the three gauge marks in the rim of the powder coated wheel and when I looked closer I could see the Chevrolet centre cap was all busted up/ broken and bent.I went back inside and asked the two staff behind the counter to come out and look at my wheel.the girl looked and walked away, they guy said he was sorry and he would take care of it. He asked my where can you purchase a metal Chevrolet centre cap like that? I said I would have to look it up on the website at home and call him. There are a few companies like LMC trucks and Brothers that sell replacement metal chrome centre caps and there are companies that sell cheap plastic versions. I told him I wanted it replaced with a metal one like it was.I got home and called him back to tell him the part number and website. He said he would take care of it for me. That was the 21st of December 2019. Five weeks went by and I had not heard a thing, so I drove down there to see him. He explained to me that the manegment had said to him they where not going to pay for a replacement centre cap, but he felt that was wrong and he had ordered one online and was going to charge the company. That was three weeks ago and still heard nothing. There is some sort of game playing going on down there and they tell you something different each time you talk to them. The fact is they have messed up my whole wheel and all I want is for them to replace my wheel centre cap. Theyre use to be some great staff working behind the counter, but that has long gone. These guys are cowboy mechanics that have no idea whats going on and zero skill or knowledge to be working on vehicles.Building old vehicles is a hobby and I warn anybody who is thinking of letting these guys work on you car.It has been six months now since this happened. Mavis customer service asked me to contact them. Had multiple conversations with the manager John Peterson based up north and the local Shop manager Jason. Had a lot of different excuses and said they would replace the original part on my vintage truck. Communication was mostly prompted on my part, but still have not received a replacement wheel hub and radio silence since February. I know we are in the middle of an epidemic, but I have managed to hunt down the part myself and will head down to the shop with the recept and ask for reimbursement as my lawyer suggested to see how they respond.

Best tire shop around. Got a great deal on tires, great customer service, and they were done with my truck early! 10 out of 10 would recommend this shop!!

Jason @ the front desk went above & beyond helping me when I (a77 yr old lady)came into the store almost in tears after having a flat tire while on my way dropping off my son @ the Sav airport! My son put the “donut” on & suggested I stop on my way home @ Sav Tire. Jason had Matt look @ my tire in the trunk, said they would evaluate, apologized for my wait time although I didn’t have an appt! Jason explained in detail what he found.& they proceeded to repair the tire, deflate the donut & place back in the trunk @ NO CHARGE! I will recommend Savannah Tire to everyone I know and thank God there are still GREAT BUSINESSES IN THIS WORLD! I pray for Jason & Matt and this business that all will continue to prosper

Highly unrecommended. Poor communication and knowledge on general information, short staff so cant work on your car as told even if you call ahead of time, inconvenient. Need better performance effort.

My daughter needed tires for her truck. After they assessed her car, I had them check mine. We both ended up leaving with new ones. The guy at the desks was soooo awesome. He made us laugh but was professional Anne took very good care of us. The price was good And we both felt safe leaving them.

I brought my new tires in and they were more than happy to mount and balance all four plus the spare. I requested my old tires back and they even carefully loaded them into the cargo area of my Excursion. Tires roll smooth and balanced. I’m very happy with their work.

Ok... here’s the deal. It’s 4:50pm on a Sunday! I’m m a single mom, heading to work with a big fat nail in my tire and my 5 year old in tow. I really have no one to come save the day, So I decided to swing into the Savannah Tire On 21. It was a long shot, considering they are about to close... but let me tell you! The staff was amazing! Cornelius, the young man working up front, he was so so amazing!!! He took my car in and got it taken care of, even though he really didn’t have to! I had new tires mounted and balanced by another company. I had a slight wobble before that persisted and I decided to get an alignment. I took it to SAVANNAH tire (Mavis) in garden city GA. They changed me $75 for the alignment which I felt was a reasonable price. When I picked up my vehicle, I asked for the print out that has the before and after measurements that comes with EVERY ALIGNMENT I have ever had. The rep stated the printer takes some type of special ink and they can’t print it. I then asked if they saved the file so I could see it and that was also a no. So they were unable to prove they actually did the alignment. Not a huge deal except my vehicle still has the same wiggle wobble when driving at higher speeds. Not convinced they actually anything...January 6th update - SAVANNAH Tire replied to my review and asked me to call their customer care center. I have called and left two messages and no one has called me back. My wife drove the truck and it was pulling to left and still wobbling so I had the wheels rebalanced and the truck realigned at their competition and the toe on the left and front was off significantly. There is no way the tow got off this far on a month after an alignment if it was actually performed when I took it to Savannah tire. Print out from competitor attached from 12/26/19

Called and got a qoute for 2 tires and an alignment. I specifically asked if they could align my car since it was lowered. He says Yea man! No problem. So I set my appointment for 4:30 on Friday. I work. Friday 8:30am i get a phone call from Savannah tire and was told i needed to come in early because the technician was leaving early(was not true). So take half a day off to get there. and was then told that i came too early.. Then was told at pickup they cant align the car. WASTE OF TIME. Now i have New tires on a bad alignment. Not even an apology. I WILL NOT BE BACK.

Honestly, as we are sure everybody already knows it is very hard to find a truly great company, that is not only fair with prices but also backs it up with great mechanics. This is one of those companies. I drive my work van everyday. We had ordered 4 tires from tire rack online. The tires they sent me were actually out of round. The van drove terrible and was unsafe. Made a call to Savannah Tire, not only got incredible pricing, actually did pre check in and everything is great now. Give them a chance and they will earn your business.

Dangerous place to have work done. They left off a tire lug nut. Dropped off my car a Garden City location to have the tires rotated. Got a call saying every thing look good that they did a inspection and come get the car.I checked the tires for the rotation and discovered a missing locking tire lug nut.Showed the customer agent this and she came back telling me that it was missing when they got the car. So if it was missing why did they not tell me when they called me and when I picked up the car. They were going to let me drive away without a tire lug nut. I now have to buy 4 new locking tire lug nuts. No apology from the customer agent. Looks like the new ownercompletely incompetent.Like Share

I was driving from Virginia to Florida and my tire light kept going on. I asked the hotel and they told me to go to Savannah tire. They were awesome! They were honest and straight forward on what I needed. I had the best service and trusted them completely.

Excellent service. I took my husbands car in for an oil change and a tire. They were short handed, but as each person came in, they were explaining the situation and service continued to flow. That was my first time there but my husband had been there before and didnt want me to take his car where I usually take my vehicle. I will now be taking my vehicle there also.

Terrible service do not trust them. We took our Audi to them to get 4 new tires. Because I hit something on the interstate and busted a tire and possibly bent a rim. We picked our car up with four new tires and an alignment. Assuming they did their job. We drove the car home and it had a vibration. Knowing a good bit about cars being in the automotive business my self. I knew we had a bent rim. So we took it back and they said we had two bent rims. So why did they not tell us this when they put the rims on the balancing machine? We took the rims to get them fixed and brought the car back for them to balance the rims again. We were like okay so they messed up, as we all have done in life. So, 6 months later we needed 4 new tires on my Tahoe. We took it to Savannah Tire in Garden City. The same place we took our Audi. We got four new tires and they told us we needed upper control arms so they were unable to do the alignment. Fare enough, so we bought the part and my husband put them on. We took the tires off to replace the upper control arms and there were no weights at all on any of the four rims. I could not believe it. They put four new tires on our car and forgot to balance all four of them. Lets just say we will no longer be doing business with Savannah Tire.
