First of all I would like to apologize for a review I had pre-posted about Maaco Auto body shop.I wrote how it was wrong to see a certain price and then be quoted something different.I spoke too soon and was very wrong. My inexperience in Auto body prices, I decided to read up on costs from other companies.Maaco final quote was $2100.00Information I read about, that is a good deal. With a good paint job on my fathers truck.A very top of the line paint job, can run a customer $10,000.00 or even more.Carlos was upfront with his quote. He asked me about my 2 star review. I do apologize again for my irresponsible review.I had a talk with my Dad a few minutes ago, and he was satisfied with the work, and just laughed at me for being... ignorant on certain things. Do not take your car or truck here. They do not honor their quotes. They will try to jack the rate. They had best bid by 300. Took it in. They said made mistake wanted 1000.00 more. When I said no. they said let me see what I can do. Then said oh I got it down to only 700 more. Like was doing me a favor. To be clear all I asked them to do what was quoted . No additional. Complete scam and very unethical.

Took my infinity in for maccos top paint job.when i went to pick up my car there was overspay on my crome pieces lights and ruber moldings,also there was dirt in the clear coat on spoiler and nicks in fresh paint,also my molding on doors was scratched and damaged,upon speakingbto manager VICTOR he claimed theyd fix it all and to leave car and come back in a.m.(mind you this is after we agrued and i showed pictures of when i dropped it off) upon calling to see if car was ready he kept repeating that they fixed rubber pieces and would not answere my questions of if all work was done.he then said there not gonna fix anything and my car is ready,i asked for his boss he refused to supply me with that info and even refused to give me customer services info,said hes done talking to me and that my car is ready for pick up and hung up.i called customer service and was told someone would eventually call me back i asked when because i need my car and was told they cant tell me when but eventually someone would call.so now ive got to go pick up my car damaged or hell charge me a storage fee per day.he also told me that there not responsible for any damage done to my care while in there possession!!!wth!!!!!if you do use macco never go to this location.also when i wSas pointing out issues with paint he said your just being petty sir.an expensive bad experience.im very dissapointed about my 1924.76 i spent for there best service and job....NEVER USE THIS LOCATION..THIS MANAGER IS A UNPROFESSIONAL A SCAM ARTIST AND A THEIF!!!!i tried to atach photos but its not leaveing me that option on this site.

I paid for body work and paint - job done looks ok- with a few spots where you can noticed that there was not a proper prep before paint. A good note for this place was the customer service form guys answering phone and making estimates; except for a lady there that looks that it’s manager - she asumes that because of my Hispanic look I don’t speak English - “she was mean” she also don’t have any orientation on how to treat a customer. Also my car was returned very dirty. Now o have to take my car to paint to other place. Will not recommend this place.Update: just finding up on sun light a lot of orange peel - also places were paint it’s coming off - like a very thin layer of paint was applied. MAKE YOURSELF A FAVOr AND DONT LET THIS UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE PAINT YOUR CAR.Second update : I tried to contact the person who respond to my review by phone and email; no one answer. It’s clear that this place it’s very unprofessional and they don’t care about customers satisfaction.

Bad customer service from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. The guy helping me seemed more annoyed that he had to work than to help out. He then quoted me $2,600 for three small spots, said he could bring it down to $1,600... Yet a full car paint would be about $1,600 also. This location was so pointless to visit.

I bought my 2016 Accord recently and scuffed the front bumper. I wanted to fix it ASAP. I went around a few different auto paint shops getting quotes and MAACO took care of me from the very beginning. Both guys (Anthony & The manager Danny) were very polite and honest with me. The first place I went to quoted me for $650 and told me my car wouldnt be done for 3-4 Days! Thats ridiculous because I need to go to work the very next day. Anthony & Danny reassured me that the job will be done with precision and very quickly as well. At Maaco they use industrial heaters to speed up the process versus your average mom and pop business air dry method which takes longer. I got my car fixed for $380 and done in 24 hours! On top of that the paint was beyond my imagining. You cant even tell the difference! I was worried the paint wouldnt look factory quality and I was proven wrong. Maaco did an outstanding job! Even the gloss came out amazing. Thank you Anthony & Danny for an outstanding job.

Terrible experience. Checked in my car 02/24/2021Damage was: paint scratch on the front bumper and fender. They said 2-4 days. Instead, it took for them 1 month. Picked up my car 03/24/2021, they charged me the full price, painted grille mistakenly and damaged hood. Didn’t want to give discount and tried to charge me storage fees if I won’t pay. Scammers, non professionals.

The quality of work was horrible. Additionally, it took them more than three months to get my paint to a satisfactory level. On a positive note, the staff was exceptionally helpful.

Marco is awful! Paint chipped after 6 months and dont have a warranty? Now you tell me. What can I do about the chip? I was told by Victor that it would be $200. Really?! Awful!

This was by far the most unpleasant experience ever. My car was not painted correctly. I left the car for an additional 2 weeks for them to complete the job, but my car was not touched during that entire time. Additionally I spoke to the supervisor who was supposed to meet me at the shop to discuss my problems. When I drove to the shop, he was not there and never returned my call to discuss the problem. My car is still not fixed and no one has returned my calls to address the issues.

Customer service is excellent! Great group of guys, very likeable. Reasonable Prices, posted plainly and clearly on the wall. And if you want full service on any deal, they might even lower, the already low price. And very willing to give you the estimate in your hand, not just gouging you or inflating the price for personal gain,ESPECIALLY if your insurance company is a factor.Ill go back if I need to in the future and Ill truly recommend them to everyone in need of repair!

Victor and Jarrel were very professional and friendly. They knocked it out the park. After visiting 3 other body shops for some simple parts to be painted, Maaco beat them all by thousands of dollars. Been there more than once, and definitely will be back. Thanks again guys. Highly recommended.

Their communication was very poor when extra time was needed, they suffered with poor workmanship, and the quality was not inspected by management or staff. The willingness to allow poor quality to go out the Door even though the customer paid for the best Job... hoping the customer didn’t notice... No compensation considered by upper management when a customer was inconvenienced well beyond a reasonable time frame. Giving the staff the Benifit of doubt... trying to do Business during a pandemic is a challenge in of itself. After several felled attempts and a excessive amount of time... the Job was finally done correctly.

The staff are very friendly and professional. They repaired the dings in the door and the small dent in the bumper. I also had the whole car repainted. It now looks like a brand new car. They did an awesome job! I highly recommend this location.

I got my car repainted and the only thing I have bad to say about the work is that they left the inside of my car filthy. Like you would think they would have put down plastic on the mats to prevent the tracking of dirt and paint particles. They should also sand and buff the inside of the door handles because its rough to the touch when you grab it to open the door.

I was beyond satisfied with my body repairs!! Maaco was friendly and very helpful from the moment I walked in. Albert gave me a lot of insight on my car and what he recommends I do as far as the repairs. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to break everything down for me! My car now looks like a brand new car!!! The repairs were awesome and the turnaround time was accurate! Albert guaranteed me a week for the repairs to be done and that’s exactly when my repairs were done! I am so glad I chose Maaco to do my body work!! Go to Maaco for any body work you may need done, you won’t be disappointed!

Bringing my car here first was a great ideal. loved my personal experience here. Beverly looked out for me and made me feel comfortable about leaving my car for repairs. The final result looks amazing as if I have a brand new car again. Great customer service I would definitely use again.

At first I was extremely happy with the service I received at Maaco, they were very nice, offered to take me home and pick me up when the car was done and the turnaround was really fast. Then it all went downhill from there.I don’t know if they were just rushing just because or if they honestly didn’t think I would notice the major errors they made because I’m a female. They did try to correct the issue days later when I brought it up, but to me those errors were major and should not have been done in the first place. And I brought it up, they didn’t tell me, they let me drive away in my car with these mistakes.First thing they did wrong was paint the panels between the front and back door red. I have not seen not 1 car out there that has it like that, and the original paint was black! How could they not see it!Second and this was a major one, they painted red the section where my fog lights are, which was originally black, AND they painted over my fog lights, there is red paint over them!!This is a major error! How could they miss the fog lights! I’m dumbfounded! I paid for the service I should have received correct service, I have pictures of before, during ( which were sent to me so I can see the process) and after.Did they think I would not notice because I am a female? I honestly know no other reason why they would do that, this is their job to paint cars and notice mistakes on the work they did

Foremost very happy with my paint job and the customer service of the shop manager, Danny. He actually repainted my hood when they found runs in the paint after drying. This delayed my original pick up date.However, after finishing the first paint job, the paint crew broke my rear tail light clear case when removing the masking tape. This was a new light about a year old and cost me $350 to replace, so I was not happy with that because their service contract does not cover vehicle damage as result of their paint job. So buyer beware!

If you want a real nice paint job please take your time finding the right place. Maaco is not the right place for a professional job. They dont care about the details and Will not go out of their way do the job carefully. Do not go to Maaco.

I must say I couldnt be more happy with the finish product I wasnt to sure in the beginning but decided to go for it couldnt be more happy. But I must say if u want top quality work get the max of what they offer because u get what you pay for I got the top of the line and got great results u must get door jams trunk and everything done. Now remember I cant speak for every macco but the one in gardena on western and 139th got the job done good customer service Anthony will walk u through the process and over see your vehicle thanks again.

The paint came out great except for the fact you can still see the decals that was taken off the van coming through the paint they did a very poor job of sanding and prepping the body

If I could I would give them 0 stars . Worst service ever, we took a spoiler to get it painted and they make sure to charge you when you drop your parts or vehicle that way if they make mistakes they still get paid. When we drop it off Sam said that the colors would not be completely to match and we agree on it when we went and pick it up it had black dots all over the spoiler . Original color was white and got painted vanilla . So why the black marks ? They kept claiming is dust particles and theres nothing you can do about it . I would not ever recommend this place really bad customer service and rip off place . Manager is no help they give you attitude and get upset if you tell them that you are not satisfied with their job.

Worst Experience Ever, stay away from this place!Dropped off my car on June 27th for a two tone paint job which they said would be done by July 8 no problem, I even splurged on the top-of-the-line base coat/clear coat for the best possible finish. I called on the 7th to confirm they were still on schedule and was told I could pick up my car the next day after 3pm. I re-scheduled my day in order to make it there before close and upon arrival I was told the painter had an emergency that day and didnt come in so my car wouldnt be done until the following week. They didnt even take the time to call me and let me know this so I didnt have to leave work early and drive all the way other there.The following week I was told the painter was now in the hospital and he was the only one that knew my colors (obvioulsy a lie since it was on the order form). About a week later I was told they found the colors and were finishing my car (now 2 weeks past the original due date).When I went to go pick up the car the next time they not only had they reversed the colors on the two tone the wrong way but they didnt even paint in the right areas. Told them they had it all wrong and asked them to have the owner call me upon his return to discuss.About a week went by with no call so I called and the owner had not been informed what happened. They he put me back on the phone with his manager who claimed they painted it the way it was. He litterally made me drive to their shop to show them the before photos of the car I took when I dropped it off to prove that they did it wrong, UNBELIEVABLE. When I met with the owner he finally took some responsibility, showed me that they screwed up and all the information was correct on the order form, why they didnt do what was on the order???He said I could take it as-is or they would fix it, I had to make them fix it because like I said, not only were the colors reversed but they were not even in the right parts of the car so I couldnt put the trim back on.A couple weeks later I went to pick up the car for 3rd or 4th time and this time they got the colors and lines right but there were serval mistakes I asked them to fix. The fuel door was painted shut and couldnt be opened, the hood still had some of the wrong color on it, and the tailgate of the truck was all messed up because they closed it when the paint was still wet so when I opened the door the paint all peeled and chipped off where it was touching the bed.Over another week went by, it has now been over two months since I dropped off my car. Upon this last visit I was willing to overlook the overspray which painted my exhaust pipe, the numerous defects in the paint and a quarter panel they obviously didnt sand first, the drivers side mirror didnt get a clear coat like the rest of the car so it had a matte finish and felt different than the rest of the car, they even got paint on the window rubber and the inside door panel on the drivers side but then I was also told they were not going to fix the tailgate. I couldnt believe they wouldnt fix something that was obviously their fault, all they had to do is paint it and leave the door open until it dried.At no point in the entire process did I get an apology, instead they made it seem like I was somehow at fault and it was always on me to prove they messed up. Then our boy Mitch, the owner, was a complete dick and only offered to give me $100 off, and I had to fight for that. I couldnt believe after all the problems (which were all their fault) and the fact that they took over 2 months to finish and the finished product was ok at best.I seriously couldnt be more frustrated and dissapointed in this shop. Hopefully my experience is rare but in my opinion these guys are crooks and just not decent people.All I can do at this point is warn others and hope this place goes under for lack of business. STAY AWAY if you can and if youre driving by flip them the bird for me ;)
