Had an old iPhone5s that needed a new battery. Walked in and within 30 minutes, was able to have a new battery installed. And work is guaranteed. Nice and very knowledgeable. I got sent two SIM card unlock chips and neither of them worked and I was never sent a code for the chip to unlock my sim.

My 4 year old had scratched the glass on my otherwise fine iPad Air and while familiar with the place hadnt paid them much attention - but they delivered in spades when I needed to replace the glass. I think it cost them 3 times the amount I paid but still held true to the initial estimate. They have a pretty good selection of older blu-ray disks too at a very reasonable price so even if you dont need a phone or tablet fixed or replaced and youre in the area go pay them a visit and get some movies anyway!

The case On my 3 yr old Samsung Galaxy S7 started to separate. Brought it to Best Buy Leominster where I purchased it and they made an appointment to have me bring in the phone the next day and have the Geek Squad look at it. The young customer service associate at Best buy that made the appointment for me was already implying that it would probably cost as much to fix the phone as it would to replace it. In other words; be prepared to buy a new phone. Went to the Cell phone exchange at the recommendation of a friend and they fixed everything on the spot in less than 15 minutes for a cost of only $40. Turned out the original battery had expanded (swelled within the case) and that was what caused the case to separate. They put in a new battery, resealed the case and I was good to go. When I mentioned what They told me at Best Buy, the repairman just laughed and so did I. My laugh was one of relief. If you have anything wrong with your phone check this place out before you buy into any expensive repair or replacement suggestions.

Phil was great and professional. Unfortunately a third party server crashed while he was working on my phone. He warned me about the crash and told me he would get back to me in regards to the crash. When he informed me the crash affect his ability to deliver the service requested, he very quickly followed up with an apology and that he would not charge me for the time he did spend working on it. Prior to the crash, he made every effort to do it first thing in the AM as promised. I will definitely return here if I need a phone repair again.

Phil and his partner have a curiosity and dedication to solving mysterious tech problems that wont ease until it is solved. Ive taken both a cell phone and laptop to them to work on, and although the phone, which had dropped in water, may not ever be totally repaired, Phil did a masterful job to get it working to the point it is at. The laptop was worked on elsewhere over a period of weeks/months at another computer repair business without them solving the problem, even though that business worked at it conscientiously, it was Phil and his partner in these issues who solved it in a 1/6th of the time to boot. Additionally, they showed me the replaced parts of the laptop, thoroughly explained what was wrong, and charged me an very fair price for his work.I would highly recommend Cellular Exchange to anyone with a phone or laptop issue with the assurance that no matter what, they will never treat you wrong. Ever. Even if the problem cant be repaired.

Fixed my hard drive issue on my ps4 but bent my pins on my hdmi port on my ps4 so now I have the white lite of death meaning no signal from the ps4 to the Tv. The deny respondibilty saying cleaning hard drive they wouldnt have came in contact with the hdmi port. But when the cleanes the hard drive they needed to CONNECT IT TO A TV TO DETERMINE IF THEY FIXED IT.

Does anybody know if theyre able to fix phones with bad battery that lose batter fast? Or can u trade in a phone with a bad battery and still get another device?

Dont get your iPad screen fixed here. Had to bring it back because they didnt do it right because the touch screen didnt work and the screen lifted up. The screen still lifts up and the home button doesnt work properly even after fixing the first mistake. If you dont know how to do it, then dont take the business, or WARN people before taking their money about the risks/limitations if its just an apple product thing.

I have been to the Cellular Exchange a few times in the past for computer issues and have always been happy with the service and knowledge Phil the owner has. Recently, I bought an Iphone for my son, the phone had an issue and I contacted Phil. He told me to bring the phone in and he would look at it. He did in fact get it going again, but within a few days it wasnt working correctly again. I brought it into the store and he told me he would replace it no problem, and that it would be a few days as he didnt have another one in the store. Later that day he called me and said instead of waiting he was just going to upgrade the phone to a better one instead of making us wait. He went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied!!! And he really made my 13 year olds day!!!

The best pace I found in Worcester County to bring my phone when it has a problem. I bought a pre-owned I phone 4 for a fraction of the price of a new one. My friend dropped her cell phone into a bucket of water. She was sure it was broke for good. I brought her there, and they had it fixed in five minutes.
