Responsive staff that are intelligent and seem like they enjoy talking to other knowledgeable customers.All of these negative reviews are usually from people that do not like having things explained to them.Every time I have an outside ffl transfer firearm it is quick and when there is a fee it is reasonable.My only issue is I wish there was a larger selection since they are the only shop in town dedicated to firearms and accessories. Of course with the world being the way it is I understand.

Had exactly what I was looking for when many other fun shops and sporting goods stores were out. The man working talked with me about a recent firearm I had bought and the success he had with modifying his personal rifle. No pushy sales like some of the bigger gun shops. Friendly and professional. I will definitely be returning to this establishment.

Great local gun shop. Good amount of inventory. More handguns than rifles. Lots of gear too. Ammo. Red dots. Backpacks. Knives. Accessories. Ertc. And the staff is very friendly. Professional. Helpful. If they dont have what you need, they will gladly order it for you. Highly recommend!

Stopped in and was greeted by a helpful owner. Prices are pretty good. Id rather pay a little more to buy from small businesses and avoid going into Buds. If you are in Georgetown you should definitely check them out.

Both guys were very rude not a single word when walked into store I had to greet them. Very poor selection of guns prices were just ridiculous wouldnt recommend at all. How do these places stay open is what I want to know....

Was in the store yesterday to shop for a new conceal carry pistol. I was extremely impressed with the time taken to teach and inform me about the products I was considering. These guys are very knowledgeable about their firearms. They wont try to sell you whats most expensive. They will give you several choices to choose from, show you whats new, explain warranties, and help you pick out holsters. Ive bought 4 guns from them this year. Ill likely not go anywhere else. I was looking for a new carry gun for wife. I looked on there website and they are dealer for what I was wanting. They have what I wanted online and it was good price. I know they cannot keep everything they have online in stores. I was gonna see if they had it in stock at their store and they did! (Only positive) when I checked the price out it was $30 higher than online. I might be wrong but a store front gun store makes a living off of repeat business and not a one time shopper. This shows me where their loyalties lie. As well when I asked about they were rude as could be.

Stopped in from out of town and had my wife and kids with me. We weren’t even greeted when we walked through the door and the salesperson behind the counter didn’t bother to say a word when I walked within 5 feet of him to look at the handguns. Not sure how you can ignore a customer when they are the only one in the store...

New staff, new management, and new products - really hard to beat Sling Point in terms of one-on-one customer service. Theyve always offered fair prices on my trades, and have gone further out of their way compared to most local gun-stores to ensure they have hard-to-find items available. Their .22LR, 9mm, and .223 might cost a bit more than Wal-Mart, but at least they have it in-stock!

Walked in looking for a small caliber revolver for the fiance and clearly explained this when asked what I was looking for. Needless to say, they had nothing to offer, but what was funniest is that the guy behind the counter tried to sell me a Taurus Judge chambered in .45/.410!! Albeit, with a straight face I may add. I managed to not bust out in laughter and then inquired if they had any .22LR ammo. Sure they did, box of 550 rounds of Winchester for the low, low price of $99.99!!! This place is crooked as a country road, dont waste your time. Remember places like this that gouged after this ammo/gun crisis passes and show them they dont deserve your business. The good reviews for this place make me wonder of they are legit reviews at all.....

These guys are great, easy to talk to, friendly, seem decently knowledgable on what they do, sold me my first AR, told me how I could get it cheaper and I ended up getting their build kit instead, the explained to me how everything fit together, how to set up an optic to line up with the iron sights, switched out my stock for no cost after discovering it was too tight, the foregrip tac light they sold me was supposed to have a battery in it and they forgot it, when I came back he had it waiting and admitted his mistake, apologised and all was well, by the time they were done with everything I felt like I could run the rifle as well as my glock, they have a decent selection in store and everything I was curious about they found online for me, the only complaint isnt really a complaint, but theyre ammo is a bit expensive, but as cheap as they sell everything else they deserve to ask a bit more!! All in all great experience, great people, great product, great place!

Visited the store a few times. First time I was there I overheard them tell a customer a flat out lie about another firearm store in the area. The second time I was in there I overheard them advising a customer on how to have another person make a straw purchase for him.That coupled with their selection and prices will keep me from coming back again.
