Tim has taken care of multiple guns for me. He always finishes the work quickly and does a fantastic job.
Mr. Smith installed some Truglow tfx sights on my M and P shield plus. He us a consumate professional and I could not be happier with the work he did. Very personable and answered all my questions via text, email, and by phone rapidly. I will take any other firearm work I need to him without doubt. Highly recommend Mr. Smith!
CZ 52 this weapon was taking apart in 1998. Mr Tim was able to work his magic find the missing pieces and broken parts and put it back together. And now functions better than it did the day it was issued this weapon was taking apart over 22 years ago and he was still able to fix it. Youre not going to find a better gunsmith if youre looking for quality. Above and beyond expectations he has all of my business.
I have used Tims services for both a FFL transfer and a sight replacement. He is knowledgeable, professional, prompt and friendly. I would highly recommend him.
I was having a problem with sight replacement on a Ruger pistol. He fixed it in about five minutes and I was out the door. No BS simple, quick, and I would defanitely use his service again.
I used Mr. Smith for a FFL transfer and he couldnt be more personable, polite and enjoyable to talk to as we waited for my background check to clear. The transfer fees are very reasonable as compared to most FFLs in the area. Ill be using Mr. Smith for future transfers.
Excellent and fast service, strong rec, will be back
Tim was prompt, professional and kind. Highly recommended, will use again!
I had purchased a complete already put together upper from PSA at the beginning of January. I combined this with the lower parts kit that was provided and an Anderson lower, which went together flawlessly. An AR is an AR is an AR. I hadn’t had a chance to fire a shot since ammo has been scarce so I had been inspecting it on my own time making sure it cycled well. No issues until I got ammo. I inserted 5 rounds in a 30 round and 20 round magpul magazine. When I inserted the 20 round mag the bolt wouldn’t go to battery without using the forward assist, issue #1. When I used the 30 round mag the bolt went to battery on its own, without forward assist, but wouldn’t eject the round. On the final time I tested it the bolt locked into place and wouldn’t eject the round. Let me tell y’all, I was bummed. First rifle, never fired a shot and now this?! Well I called PSA and they said if I took the round out I could send it back and they would repair it. I had to find a gunsmith, so I checked the Google and Tim was the first that came up. Called him up, explained the situation, and he said “Yeah I can take care of it, probably with you standing right next to me”. Thought that was great so I took my business to Tim Smith. Within 5 minutes of me handing him my upper he solved the problem, much to my relief. No BS, just honest work. He even cycled it a few times to make sure the issue wasn’t recreated. He even gave me advice and some pointers to help me along the way.I will be having all future FFL transfers sent I his location and definitely visit him for any up grades and repairs that I can’t do myself.
Knowledgeable when answering emails and very responsive
Fast, and knowledgeable. If you want the job done right, quickly and for a fair price- go see Tim Smith, you will not be disappointed. Also, not afore-mentioned here but this is a Veteran-owned business, in case you needed an extra reason to check him out.
Tims knowledge of guns is extensive. He has done a couple of repair jobs for me and the rates are very reasonable. He has a repeat customer with me.
Mr. Smith did a great job assisting me with an issue I had on my 9mm pistol. He was able to quickly identify the issue and had it fixed within a couple of days. Very professional service, will definitely be coming back if I ever have any issues with my other weapons.
I called to ask a question regarding a JTS AR 12, the guy I spoke to kept hanging up on me before I could ask my question or get an answer. This only tells me they do not want business, I would not recommend this shop.
Tim did an outstanding job on my Model 97 shotgun. I️ plan to take more firearms to him in the near future. I️ would recommend him, to anyone needing quality work done on their firearms.
Had him stall a CMC trigger in my ar15 and did not follow instructions on how to install, safety was jacked up.
Very knowledgeable, definitely fast a quality service!
