Stopped by Glendale store to get battery for FOB. I was immediately informed the cost is $14.99 for “Life Time Replacement.” I replied that I just need a battery.” The representative then stated he could not touch the FOB, since I was not purchasing a Life Time replacement. I then struggled to open the plastic case, as he watched and offered no assistance. I then ask if I could use a tool to open. He provide a pry tool after reluctance.He stated once again that he was NOT allowed to touch the FOB. I found that the battery was missing, and ask if he could tell me what type battery would I need. He refused to look at device cavity. He stated it would be an “xxx” or “xxx”. I ask if we could try one, and if not the right one, use the other one. He replied “no”. I then left the store.Ironically, a few days later, I received a coupon for FOB battery with INSTALL for $4.99… The store was more focused on selling a life time replacement than providing any level of service. I will take my business elsewhere.

Always great service the people are very knowledgeable short wait time if there is any weight at all and they seem to have everything that Ive ever needed whether a car battery batteries for the home even batteries for the little electric cars that the kids drive and chargers

I have been to this store location several times and the employees are very rude. The clerk treated me like I was stupid and refused a refund that was 1 day past their 14 day policy, even though the product I purchased was over $60. I asked for a manager, which he did not get, nor did he apologize for being rude, and wrong, regarding the product I was returning.

14 days isn’t a long enough of a return policy and I’m not happy that I was turned away without a refund. I’ll think twice before purchasing from this company again.

I have been buying there for years at the Bell and 67th Ave store in Glendale AZ. The products are great and staff have always been great but the current folks set the bar impossibly high. They are ALL friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I just had to return a defective premium Series 31 marine battery and they were incredibly helpful. Seamless warrantied replacement. Kudos to all!

It was a quick and easy trip to pick up what I needed. The staff member was friendly and shared a funny dad joke with me as I was leaving. A great sense of humor and a nice place to shop.

My family and I have been going there periodically for a few years now. After our last experience we will not be back. While the customer service in the past has been respectful, this time they just acted like they did not care and we were a bother just for getting simple stuff. Also If you care at all about Covid safety for you and your loved ones, do not go here because they clearly do not. When we showed up none of the employees were wearing masks and frankly there is no excuse for that. My family and I determined that for the price, customer service, and safety next time we will be going somewhere else.

Returns are only 15 days. I am guessing that they do not understand how the days go by very fast. I understand that the returns could be so short do to people not taking care of the batteries in the proper manner, heat etc. Still upset I have batteries that are wrong and I couldnt return them in 20 days. They are usually ok helpful to be fare. Fix the return to 30 days at least. Not happy.

I recently bought my first house and it came with a lot of burned out lights and bulbs of all shapes and kinds. I was overwhelmed trying to find the correct replacements for each, so I took them into Batteries Plus Bulbs and George kindly and efficiently helped me find LED replacements for each and every one. Its the Fourth of July and the unique battery on my mothers house alarm decides to go bad. It makes an annoying beeping reminder on occasion to let you know you need to physically replace the battery. Ive used Batteries Plus Bulbs routinely over the years, so I immediately went to their website. I was able to order the battery online and was rewarded with a 10% discount for doing so.The next morning, Sunday, I received an email sixteen minutes after the store closest to me opened informing me the order was ready! Ten-minute drive to the store and I had battery in hand. I was also surprised to learn the store could also replace my watch battery at the same time, so I took advantage of that service as well!Ten minutes back to home and the annoying battery alarm/warning was cured!Many thanks to Store #338 in Glendale, Arizona!

I want to start off by saying the people I spoke with here are very respectful, but I do have mixed feelings. I got my mothers iPhone screen replaced as a surprise here. It was going well for a month then it went black, took it back to them and they fixed it free of charge which was nice then five minutes later after getting home it went black again. I took it back again and they fixed it again. I was told it would keep doing it as it was likely a motherboard issue with a chip. However the phone was working great for over a year with the cracked display with no issues. I dont know if its just a coincidence or if one of the techs did something wrong during the first installation and damaged the motherboard. I finally ended up calling Verizon to get a replacement for cheaper then it would cost to buy a new iPhone. I needed to remove the information off the phone so I took it back and once again they fixed the issue, however I told Verizon the phone was perfect condition only issue is the display kept going out on my mother. I am kinda scared to send this one back after getting the warranty one as they might charge me extra due to this little metal ring that is under the screen near the bottom bezel after the last repair. Ive never seen anything like it and when I was being checked out I asked about it and he said it was probably the screen manufacturer.Also worth noting that the screen never felt snug, it always creaked when pressing on it I dont know if thats anything to do with anything but just an observation.My last visit to the store was Thursday I had wanted them to replace the screen since the metal ring thing was going to cause issues with Verizons warranty policy. I got the phone back with a used screen along with a screen protector on it to mask the micro scratches and the screen wasnt even staying in the body of the phone nor would it light up and the one before this with the metal ring was lighting up and fully functional besides being cosmetically incorrect. I have attached these photos, as well. Im beyond disappointed with this experience. I honestly feel like I paid $109 for a temporary fix, and I didnt even have that money to spend in the first place. I have since gotten rid of the phone and gotten my mom an upgrade.

I will never return to this business, they would not honor my warranty because the batteries were back ordered and had no clue when they’d get some. They wanted me to pay $90 to upgrade to a different battery, I requested my money back for the battery’s that were under warranty and the manager, bill, said he refused to refund my money. He then proceeded to start laughing at me on the phone and then hung up on me. The associates at the store were super friendly however the manager had no customer service and was extremely disrespectful and rude. As a manager myself, the customer is always right and you do whatever you can to make sure the customer leaves happy, even if that means you lose the $90 and put them into the upgraded battery at no cost.

Had a new battery installed in my old Galaxy Note 5 on 11/3/2020.Battery got installed, no problems with data loss thank goodness. But the screen get messed up. The technician replaced it for the same cost of replacing the battery.Took a few hours but very happy with the results so far.Thanks!

I went to replace my hood vent lights which were halogen and get very hot. I found an equivalent one online and forgot to bring the old one to the store. Luckily, they had the old one in the store and I could see the new one was slightly shorter. This ended up working perfect for me and it was a 4000k LED bulb. Thanks.

They wouldn’t honor my warranty and were not too polite about it either. Not necessarily rude but just said no it doesn’t work that way. However when I asked, they didn’t feel the need to explain to me so it would make sense. Also during Covid 19 the manager was in his office with an open door and not wearing a mask. He walked out and slowly put it on as he approached. And the lady at register’s mask kept falling down and she had to touch again to pull it up.

Had to run to another store before going in so my wife was waiting on me infront of the store then this lady came out of the store to put a sign on our car saying we had to move. Went in search of a flash light bulb for a vintage light for our 1970s 12ft aluminum boat. We went to Home Depot, Lowes, Wal-Mart even looked in the grocery stores. Finally stopped by Batteries Plus Bulbs and they had the last two bulbs we needed. The Rep said they discontinued them. We hope these last a long time!

The price was okay and the young man that installed the battery (under the passenger seat) did a great job and was very friendly to work with.

This was a battery replacement on a Samsung cell phone. The appointment was made online. The process was simple and straight forward. Upon arrival I was immediately greeted and ask the reason of my visit. The appointment record was accessed and additional information about the phone was added to the record. The replacement was scheduled to be completed in about an hour and a half. I picked up the phone about 2 1/2 hours later again greeted by a friendly, professional employee. He also happened to be the technician that replaced the battery. He remarked that the replacement was without difficulty and that the phone was now fully charged. So far, so good. From an appearance prospective one could not tell that the phone been worked on. This was a excellent, hassle free experience!

I went to their store and picked up my new battery and was riding that evening. Best Service!Friendly service. They always have my back. Even when I mess up the order, they fix it & refund me the difference. They give great advise that is always useful and trustworthy. They have never steered me wrong with their recommendations for batteries and lighting. They are experts on types of lighting to set mood, environment, living spaces... the whole package.

Always helpful. They helped me add an extra set of keys for a Ford Focus. The key fob (?) had to be programmed. They had all the necessary tools and keys. A+ all the way. I bought my iRobot battery there and it was twice as powerful as the original and has lasted over 5 years. They gave me great advice on that. 👍

I needed 4 golf cart or RV batteries for my RV. So, when I first called the 67th and Bell location, they never answered. I hung up and called again, they answered but didnt know they answered. Third time. Joke. Gave up. Then, called 35th and Glendale location, whom answered but couldnt help with a price match to Costco but did tell us about an online 10% discount so I ordered and pickup was at the 67th Ave location, because I live near there. So I paid for them, didnt get a good discount but hey, I got the batteries I needed, and was ready to pick them up that afternoon. Then, I get a call saying they didnt have them and had to pick them up from a DIFFERENT store, even though I verified before I bought them. So, I had to do across town, twenty miles, in rush hour, to get something that was supposed to be a mile from my house, and already paid for. But, I did get my batterys. So, at least thats done.

I am so thankful, I needed a repair to a 9volt battery plug and these guys were able to help me and so quickly!! They will always have my business!

I took my iPhone 8 Plus for a charging port because mine hasn’t been charging for almost a year and I just bought charging pads but wanted to finally get it fixed so I make a appointment and show up and tell her my problem, she tells me give her 5 mins and takes my phone and cleans the inside out and BOOM it’s fixed. I didn’t need a charging port and they didn’t lie and tell me I did. Amazing people to be running a honest and reliable business. I will definitely continue going there for all my repairs and battery needs. Thank you guys so much.

Ordered a car battery that cost ~$160, after placing order I realized there is a 15% discount code for online orders.I called the store to cancel the original order, and reprocess with discount code. I was told to come into the store, that they can add the discount code on but I need to come to the store.So I drove 30minutes to the store, they bill me $160, then cancel the order and neglected to mention the refund takes several business days. I had about $200 and was happy it was enough to purchase a car battery, except..Now Im waiting several days without a car battery because the $160 charge is not refunded, they couldnt reverse anything theyd done.. and to top it off, my car battery died literally right in front of the store.In a few days when I get more money Ill be buying a car battery online, with the 15% discount code (store associate only was applying a 10% discount code??), but not from this store.Terribly inconvenient. I wasted an hour driving back and forth, to have $160 held for several business days. 👎

Went in looking for a battery for one charger and a charger for the other battery type I had. They were able to advise me on the battery charger and it pending battery. They were also able to give me a generic version of the other battery for my weed cutter. Start was very friendly and really knowledgeable as well.

Online store was helpful but still had to check with the front desk when I got there for a generator battery replacement, due to terminal confusion with pictures and part numbers. Found the battery and it works great after a charge. I also saw they do the key FOBs for cars and trucks, need to look into that next.

Pricing is a major reason. I came here for a car battery and there’s happened to be the cheapest on top of a 10 percent discount. Order was ready for pickup in less Then 20 minutes maybe less then 10 😂. Now that I know they sale all types of batteries definitely will be shopping here in the future.

They did not have a battery for my phone in stock. But checked inventory and found one in surprise. They will have it for me tomorrow.

Great place to buy batteries.. when they work. I have purchased several different batteries of several different sizes from this location. Never had a problem until recently. I came to replace a battery for my skyline that I purchased recently because it wouldn’t hold a charge and I believed it to be under warranty. Upon arrival I was treated as usual but as soon as they found out I was in trying to warranty my battery the gentlemen helping me immediately changed his tone and beguin to talk to me like I had no clue how a battery or a automobile works. Basically offering a warranty that is non existent. He offered to try and charge it for eight hours then they’d give me a call. We’re both not stupid and know the battery is dead. Istead of helping me figure out the situation I am out 200+ dollars and still have no battery and will no longer be shopping here.

I felt that when the Surprise, AZ location didn’t have the battery I needed for my phone, and the other location had 7 of them, the manager could have gotten the battery for me to install it the next day. Or watch their stock to balance their stock btw the stores. In the future, I would call to see if they have what I need, then direct the manager on how to get it to the Surprise location.
