Dr. Jaslean Michals is an incredible audiologist, but also such a kind person. She made my dad feel so comfortable and informed on what’s going on. Highly highly recommend Metro Hearing for a great experience!!

Christine Cummins Beagle is by far the best Audiology Doctor you can find. She has amazing follow up and is so concerned about the quality of your results its hard to believe. So many places just want to sell you a hearing aid and then disappear but she truly cares about her clients. She is in the Scottsdale office and, even if its not close to you, shes worth the drive.

Bought a pair 3400 in December returned them 2-8 as volume control on aid fell off. They did not ever feel comfortable anyway especially one on left. Be careful hete.

The hearing aids have helped me understand what others are saying. It’s important to be able to hear well because if people are calling for help you need to be able to hear them. They fit well. This is my forth set from Metro Hearing and I recommend them. 11/04.2020: So this forth set is the latest technology. I have a set that I purchased a couple of years ago and they have become my backup set. With the Bluetooth setup I can listen to music on my phone as well as having hands free phones while driving. The only distraction is people think that I am talking to myself when I am around them because they do not realize that the hearing aids are Blue tooth. They think I am talking to myself.

Most people get their hearing aids from a place like Metro Hearing I didnt get my hearing aids through Metro. I got my hearing aids through the state agency calledVocational Rehabilitation which is an agency for people with disabilities. Vocational Rehabilitation is contracted with ASU Tempe. I got my hearing aids from ASU Tempe but the problem is that if you need aftercare you have to go back to ASU Tempe. Well I live 30 miles away from ASU Tempe. At some point, I knew I would need to get my hearing aids adjusted. I went to find for a provider that was closer to my house. Trying to find affordable aftercare for your hearing aids is not easy if you dont have insurance to cover it. I have to pay for my aftercare out-of-pocket.I was going to go with a different provider who would have charged $250 for three visits. Instead I went with this other provider (a quack) who I thought was an audiologist for a better deal. This quack was going to charge me only $250 for four visits but I later found out he was not an audiologist. Please be careful of who you go to because he was only a licensed hearing specialist not an audiologist. He messed up the settings on my hearing aids. Therefore I had to find a qualified audiologist. I called Metro and I spoken to Dr. Beagle and explained that this quack provider messed up my hearing aid settings. She was very nice and caring. Once I got most of my money back, I made an appointment with Metro. I saw Dr. Radius and she was very professional compared to the quack that I saw. I went to see her on Wednesday December 30th 2020. She corrected what the quack messed up and she gave me additional information which I did know about my hearing aids. After I left her office I immediately noticed feedback in my left ear and I called the office and they rescheduled for me to come back in the next morning at 8 a.m. Originally I was scheduled to come back for a follow-up on January 21st 2021. The problem is that when I came in this morning at 8 a.m. that was considered my follow-up visit as youre only allowed two visits for the $250. I would have thought that they would not have considered this mornings visit as the follow-up because of the fact that I called right away to say there was a problem with feedback in the left ear. Yes I would say that Metro is professional and so is Dr. Radius compared to the quack that I had seen. But I dont think that this mornings visit should have been considered my follow-up visit as I immediately calld to say there was a problem. Now if I want to have the January 21st visit it will be considered outside of the $250 and I have to pay an additional $50 to be seen. I still have the feedback in my left ear. Please make sure that you do your research before getting your hearing aids and for your aftercare for your hearing aids. This way you wont waste your money on some quack and to be able to find affordable aftercare for your hearing aids.

Everything thing about this medical practice is great. Friendly front desk staff and the doctor is thorough, kind and went above and beyond to resolve a problem with insurance.

Christina Radous is amazing. She really knows her stuff! She reset my hearing aids and now I can hear tv clearly through the oticon box and I can also hear newscasts, etc. directly from the tv. Overall experience is great. Some areas could use a little improvement as I had a couple of minor issues. Dan is a great audiologist. So definitely will keep going to him but wishes he was there more than 2 days a week. I havent had a good audiologist before Dan in a long time. Hard to find. But Im plan on keep going to him as long as I can.

I saw her after noticing I was having trouble with understanding people or even being able to hear the TV (everyone around me noticed it years before apparently) and the incessant ringing was getting a bit overwhelming. Being young, hearing loss was the last thing on my mind, but unfortunately that was the case. Stephanie fitted me with amazing hearing aids and took the time to adjust them accordingly, offered a lot of insight in regards to my situation. REVIEW FOR METRO HEARINGI first visited Metro Hearing and Balance back in 2002. I wish I had visited them first, before buying a pair of hearing aids from another local chain two years prior.  The other place was never able to get my aids adjusted correctly, and after many, many visits there and no satisfaction, I finally got smart and went to Metro.The audiologist at Metro was able to adjust both aids correctly on my first visit, much to my delight.I later purchased a new pair of hearing aids from Metro and was able to get more help for my hearing loss.  Since then, I have purchased two more sets of aids from Metro, as the technology has continued to progress and improve.One of the things I like about Metro besides the fact that they have audiologists who can get my aids dialed in correctly, is that they keep up with the latest technology, and are able to advise me accurately on what the best hearing solution is for me personally.  With my current aids that I purchased in 2011, I can even hear hi-fidelity music better than I have in over 20 years!I’m really grateful for Metro and the great service I get there, and I would recommend them to anyone who knows or thinks they might have a hearing loss.  If you’re not sure, give Metro a call and get tested.  Know where you stand.  With the technology available today, and the expertise that Metro provides, there is no need to struggle with hearing loss any more.

I have been coming here for several years --- basically since my hearing acted up (or down, depending on how you look at it. Have always been given good advice and hearing aids that are smart - looking and technology wise. Well, not looking since you can hardly see them. But everyone at Metro Hearing is friendly and casual -- not stuffy in any way. I have recommended them to friends who think their hearing is starting to slip and will continue to do so for others.

Thank you Dr Christina Radous for responding immediately to my sudden hearing loss in my right ear. I was told that I needed to see ENT Doctor immediately! I had tried for 2 days to get a appointment with a ENT and they all said they were weeks out. I contacted Metro Hearing and was seen the next day. Christina checked my ears and did a complete hearing test to confirm the sudden hearing loss. Christina jumped into motion and got me a appointment with a ENT that same day. The ENT was able to give me steroids to battle the virus in that ear. A week later I regained my hearing. Afterward I found that I could have lost my hearing permanently in that ear without getting the steroid treatment.Thanks for the sense of urgency.

About a month ago, I purchased new Oticon hearing aids. These hearing aids are amazing. By using the latest wireless technology, the hearing aids become your very own earbuds. You can talk on your cell phone while hearing the conversation through your hearing aids. You can control the volume on your television by using an app on your cell phone. We initially made a mistake by going to Costco, which was cost effective, but severely lacked the ability to help my grandma with her hearing. According to the internet about 5% of people have disabling hearing loss.Only 20% or so get hearing aids. If you are in that group or heading that way I would recommend meeting with the staff at Metro Hearing in Glendale.I did a lot of research on equipment and providers once the inevitability of my own hearing issues mandated I take action.From my first contact with Metro Hearing the staff has proven itself knowledgeable, responsive and genuinely invested in my success with hearing aids.Hearing aids represent a major financial investment but its not an area where I felt I should economize. While the initial outlay is significant, competent follow up and support is critical.This is where Metro hearing shines. My first and primary contact was with Dan Trimble who is a board certified audiologist. Dan returned my initial call within hours and spoke at length regarding options and services available.I had a current examination from another provider and we were able to use those findings in fitting... which happened on my first visit. The improvement was a game changer for me. Given the extensive damage to my hearing and inherent limitations as a result, Metro was able to fit me with 2 devices which maximized my potential.Dan fine tuned my devices to my specific hearing losses using real ear measurements, a procedure not provided by hearing aid technicians (Costco) or even most audiologists. This test is invaluable in getting the most from your device.The model which was recommended for me was the Oticon Opn1 which increases what I can hear, compensates for ambient noise and provides a significant measure of noise reduction and decreases perceived tinnitus.Subsequent to my initial visit and follow ups I have contacted Metro hearing for assistance with learning my way around these new devices.Metro has responded promptly with accurate and pragmatic assistance and accommodated me by phone and in person with a quick resolution in every instance.I am very confident in the staff at Metro Hearing. Dan Trimble is an incredible auidoiglist who made strides into making me comfortable and very informative i appericate his taking me in today at the last minute so i could find out why my hearing aid cut out on me only to find out had water in the tubes so now its been taken care of, fear not metro hearing is there to save the day!

Sorry for the book, but I have a story...5 years ago I felt hopless. Age 35, Id requested testing for hearing aids and was told I wasnt a good candidate. Having lived this way most of my life, I am able to lip read and use other coping skills. I know its a blessing to have only minor hearing loss, but some days, after asking family/friends to repeat themselves or look at me for the hundredth time, Id feel so discouraged. After recently getting a new primary care physician, I asked if his Audiologist would test me. I just wanted a recent test so I could track my hearing loss. I was shocked when she said she wanted to refer me for hearing aids! She referred me back to my ENT for medical approval and I was honestly fearful I would be turned down again. I was approved but I had to find an In-network Audiologist that did hearing aids. Insurance referred me to MetroHearing and I made an appointment, still quite fearful. Doctors told me there were no guarantees hearing aids would even work on me, bit to give it a try. Dan Trimble at MetroHearing truely helped change my life! He didnt make me feel like an idiot for being so nervous. He didnt make me feel like I should feel blessed to only have minor hearing loss. He listened and understood. When I was fitted for the first time I got a little choked up and then the most amazing thing happened. He said Im going to step out into the hall. It took a bit but then he asked if I could hear him. I said, Yes, very happy and thinking Great they work! Usually I cant hear well if someone is looking away from me, let alone oustide the room. Then he said come out to the hall. Im thinking, Why? but did as asked...and almost broke down in tears. He was standing at the other end of the hall!!! My husband and kids no longer need to listen to the TV and music blaring. I can hear clocks tick and my PC mouse click, and so many other things I didnt know I couldnt hear! Thank you Dan Trimble and MetroHearing!! For taking such good care of me and being willing to try!!
