We recently rocked our entire backyard with about 28 tons of 1-in rock. We went to several locations to try to find the right Rock but many were closed or didnt have a showroom. This location has a very nice outdoor showroom where you can see the rock itself in a sort of yard-like environment. The price list is available along with availability; just go inside first and get a pamphlet from the helpful staff.They were able to split my rock up into two different shipments without charging me a lot of extra money. Prices are clear, staff is friendly and you can pick up things like yard fabric in the shop when you order your rocks.When ordering rocks be sure to check the brochure to know whats in stock and what has to be sent out to the quarry. Otherwise you may have a surprise on the delivery time.I had good communications with the staff both before and during the delivery. The guy that delivered the rocks was helpful and friendly.I would definitely recommend going on site and looking at their showroom and not just blindly buying rocks online.A local, recommended vendor.

Drove 25 minutes to get here even though your prices are higher than the comp. Had a weekend project and you guys were the only ones open on Sat. Your representative said you were open until 3pm. Website says hours are until 3pm. For some reason they decided to close early at 2:30... Maybe the boss was out of town or who knows but when your website says your open, you should be open. Would of left 1 star for the inconvenience but you guys have been decent in the past so Ill give ya 3. But you need to correct your hours, or your employees 😕

Needed curbing around the existing backyard. I prepped the yard per their instructions, they came earlier than expected, which was fine as I received a call saying they were on their way. They did a quick and great job of putting down curbing, cleaned everything up and out the door in less than two hours. Very professional, all of them.

Horrible customer service. Set up appointment soonest they could my curbing was 3 weeks so I made the appointment took the scheduled day off work. Received call day before confirming appointment then morning ig was called to say sorry can’t make it one guy called out so we have to reschedule for the next week. Was told they would try and move crews around and call me back. 5 hours later I finally called said soonest they could do it was Monday of the next week. I said that was not going to work since I already had to take today off work expecting them to be here. She then replied sorry that’s the best they could do. So I told them to cancel my order and she responded with hanging up. Great attitude she had. And poor customer service. I will never do business with them again and will tell everyone I know not to use them.

I delivered rock at this place as aDriver i look for a safe, fast and easy delivery and i had all these with the professional and oportunistic help of the loader operator which as siin he saw me get in he drove towards me get and sign my load papers showing me the place where to drop, he stayed close and ensure i put material where it should be...they used very efficiency the available space they had placing all kind of different materials perfecty separated and close together.I was less than 20 minutes inside and observed that they run their business very professionally and efective.

I would have loved a chance to work with this company! Drive past them often and they are 3 blocks from my house if even that. I call and Claudia answers and seems friendly. I ask about screened dirt as I just need to fill holes in my small backyard. She says $29 and some change per ton. Cheap! I ask about delivery and say Im half a mile away. She says its not by distance. Ok. Did transportation before and know theres costs involved in running those trucks. Cool. I say just give me a ton. $150 plus freakin tax! $120 delivery free even during a tough economic time is still steep especially to drive around the corner. Im actually laughing as I type this because it is just too ridiculous not to laugh. I get it...business is business.

Made a trip from Scottsdale and when we arrived they said they do not carry the rock even though it is listed on their website. The customer service was also horrendous.

Make sure they send you their best crew to do the job and you wont be disappointed. They just installed the concrete the curb in our backyard and the finished product looks very good. Thank you for your hard work.

Used them for a large concrete curb in my back yard. They arrived early, did an awesome job, and finished in under an hour. My friend, who also happens to be a stone contractor recommended these guys. They are freaking professionals. I am going to use them for another area where we are planting grass. I decided to shop around to get some ideas for redesigning my back yard. What a mistake that turned out to be. I tried about four different places around the Glendale, Phoenix and Peoria area and the customer service was horrible. The only place I will go from now on is Cutting Edge. I have used them in the past and forgot how great they are. They have competitive prices and Claudia was extremely helpful. She asked me questions that I didnt even think about for my yard. Disappointed with these guys. Im a commercial contractor and have done very little business with these guys. But will not be doing any more. Rock and roll in rock sales has better prices and will work with you if they accidentally give you to much rock( their fault not mine as it weighed more than I requested) and do a refund. (The rock was in our dump truck and we were going to bring it back).Follow up.Owner contacted me and attempted to make things right. I declined but applaud the effort.

I had great service when I used Cutting Edge! I wanted more of a DIY project for my backyard, and after calling and talking with Marty, he helped me with all of my backyard needs! He immediately scheduled a day for curbing and a day for rock to be delivered. We always received a call to confirm our time and a call when the crew was about 15 minutes away which was super helpful!

This place has an amazing choice of ALL sorts of rocks. From pea sized to 1 ton boulders. Boulders are 8 cents a pound. Yes they deliver but will not place them.

The staff here all seems to be very knowledgeable and very helpful. And there is a selection of decorative rock is very vast. They delivered the next day.

Good product but customer service is horrible, they act like the are doing you a favor even when they screw up, a simple sorry we made a mistake goes a long way instead they treat you like chill is not a big deal. Office manager needs to get on your front desk people and make sure customers are treated right, remember we are the ones that make your checks every week.

Good variety of materials for landscaping improvements...the customer service is always 5 stars the young lady behind the counter Claudia makes sure you are always well taken care of.

My family and I were in over the weekend and we were interested in pavers but didnt know much about the process. Melissa was very helpful with pricing, explained how the square footing measurement works, and showed us the various types- which helped us with coming up with better ideas for our backyard.

Cutting Edge Curbing Sand and Rock has done three of my houses for me. The first one was done in 2004, the second in 2009 and just recently had them help we with a renovation of a investment property. I have always enjoyed there service, however now that they offer rock and pavers, they have been a tremendous help. The staff is extrememly helpful, I spoke with a Cindy in the office and she was able to answer all of my questions. When it came time to decide they were able to give me different descriptions of products and what the benefits vs negatives that each of these offered. I truly felt that i made and informed decision. I couldnt be happier with the choice. They showed up when they said they were and always available to help, which is rare these days. I would recommend anyone that has a project coming up to give them a call.

Overall a 3. Customer service is a definite negative 5.They acted like they didnt care. I called them to confirm my apt and they had written down the wrong address and the amount of material needed. We waited all day and then they called to asked if I would consider rescheduling!!!! WTF! I didnt and they finally show up with 2 guys who could barley speak a word of English. They did a nice job on the curbing, but holy crap! Im not sure all of this was worth it.As a last resort I would use them. We were going to buy gravel from them as well but not anymore.

I havent had them do any work for me but I have been in communication several times to get curbing done and I have to say I am very frustrated. Make sure you get the name of the person you speak with or, better yet, ask the referrer for another company.

This is the worst place you can ever Ever relied on a call three times to make sure that they have the product I was looking for so they said yes we have Plenty of It so drove from south chandler so it’s about 1 hour drive when I got there they just said we don’t carry that material so I was very upset about that never ever again the lady at the front desk was so so rude don’t recommend this bussines at all.
