Took in our class A motorhome that had overheated. They took radiator out, taken to radiator shop next day, pressure tested with very good results. Radiator was reinstalled with all new top of the line hoses & clips. Returned to us the following day. Cannot say enough about how great the service was handled & done in a very timely manner.
We called for an appointment for our motor home and got right in. That part was great. We specifically asked for full service, which includes engine oil and filter, fuel filters, air filters and complete chassis lube. The filters were mentioned twice. We went to pick it up and looked at one filter that was not changed. We realized we needed to check all filters. Two filters were not changed. When told about it, the shop supervisor was cranky and told us to go to NAPA and do it ourselves. We had to take it to Inland Truck to finish the job. They were excellent.Veral Stockton
These people are fabulous! I brought my old 87 Toyota in because it would not start. They gave it a through inspection and determined the alternator was bad. After they repaired it, my truck is running better than it has in years. The office was very clean, the staff polite, professional, and kind! Very pleased with Bear Automotive!
Jim, Kevin & the guys were great as always! They got me in the day after I called and were able to get me back on the road the same day. Very professional and courteous.
They fixed my ambulance when no one else would and a wonderful shop to use very friendly
Nice people who work there! Give any information you ask for!
Great service and friendly folks. Didnt give me the run around. Decent price.
Fast, friendly service at a reasonable price. We made an appt. for our 27 Class C motorhomes 3000 mile oil change and tire pressure check. We got in the next morning. The service took less than an hour and we were entertained and kept company by Kevin the entire time. The cost was reasonable and about what we expected. This is a great place to have service done on your RV while passing through western Colorado. Highly recommended.
Extremely helpful. Not only did they help identify issues I had with my bus, but after fixing them, they have given me great advice and help over the phone. Pretty cool how helpful they are even when you arent actively giving them money. Thank you!
Great job
Nicest people imaginable and very knowledgeable! We came through with our RV when we were having problems with or battery cable, fix it right away.
There are two parts to this review, the initial service, and the follow-up.1) I went there with my 97 truck that I just bought. I knew the truck was basically OK, but I had a fuel smell that I didnt want to mess with and I wanted the truck just gone over while they had it up on the lift. I talked to Dave and got a quote to drop the tank and trace the fuel issue, and we talked about doing an inspection and tire rotation for less than the combined cost of those two services independently. Dropped the truck off, and they called me later to say they were 2 hours deep into the tank removal (the original quote), but it would take 2 more hours because they realized they couldnt get it out from the bottom and would have to pull the bed. To make a long story short, they told me they could get the problem fixed for x dollars without pulling the bed, and I told them to do it. I picked up the truck after hours (they close early on Fridays) after paying the bill over the phone. When I looked over the bill I realized they had charged me much more than we discussed. About that same time I realized the problem wasnt fixed, and I was pretty pissed.2) Monday morning I went in there and told them all my thoughts. Again I dealt with Dave and he was very upset that I wasnt happy with the service. I left the truck there and they dropped the tank again, found the real problem, fixed it, and fixed the issues I had with the bill at the same time.Overall, I was pretty upset with the original service; I felt like I had been baited and switched and bent over a barrel, without getting my truck fixed to boot. But after going in there and pleading my case I can say that Dave (I think hes one of the owners) genuinely cares about customer satisfaction and will do what is necessary to make you feel like you got a fair deal on your service. I cant give it 5 stars because of part one but I can recommend the business and the philosophy of the ownership.
Recently I had some break troubles. I have a ollder RV so it was very hard to find parts. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable and did a great job. My RV is back on the road and the service and billing was fair and honest. Nothing but good things to say. Thank you guys and gals I appreciate you.
2 years ago, I had a blowout on a trailer tire. It had plenty of tread, but the tires were 8 years old. The blown tire was worn hard on one side, and the other 3 were good.I assumed it was an alignment issue, and went to Bear. The man in a chair behind the desk never even stood up. Never looked at my trailer. He assured me that I obviously did have an alignment issue, and told me that it would cost $175 per axle, $350 for my dual axle trailer. And he said aligning one axle would not solve the problem. Both axles would need to be aligned.Again, he never even got his fat ass out of his chair.I asked him to look at my trailer, but he said he didnt need to--- he knew what I needed, and it would cost $350.I declined. Didnt trust him.I had another blowout shortly thereafter. As it turned out, my old trailer tires were delaminating from age.I bought 4 new trailer tires, and all was well.10k on trailer since, with even wear. All good. No alignment issues.Draw your own conclusions.
Service I KNOW I can trust! These guys do a fantastic job! They have worked on both my Toyotas and they knew more than the Toyota dealership as well as the other Toyota place, Safari something or other. Wouldnt go anywhere else!
They were awesome and very professional
They held my motor home for ransom. I took my motor home in to get the breaks done. They suggested several other repairs which I agreed to have done. I bought all the parts from a parts dealer and saved about $2,000 doing so. When I brought them in the parts I was told that since I had ordered the parts they were going to have to charge me more in labor. At this point they were going to charge me almost as much just to put my rig back together so I could tow it to another mechanic. The work they did has held up it was just blatantly dishonest to charge me more money simply because I got a good deal on parts.
Purchased the transmission a part was a that was wrong and they drove 400 miles to bring it to us the next morning. We will defendefin use them again. Thanks from amazing auto and Diesel repair
They did a wonderful job fixing our RV!
Did a great job on the school bus repairs. Thank you
Great customer service & repairs. Taken 2 of my cars to them for work and have gotten in and out within 1 to 2 hours.
Gets the job done 👍
Poor service. Took three weeks for basic repairs on motorhome. They seemed to ignore my machine for other customers
