Red Rock Kia contacted me about a vehicle I had for sale and made me an offer. The offer was 3500 dollars more than anyone else I had spoken with. I also found a vehicle on their lot I liked and asked if we could make a deal on that one as well. We setup some agreements over the phone and I traveled 8 hours one way from Albuquerque to make the deal. I was out of town and brought my own financing to handle the trade and purchase of the new (to me) vehicle. The process was painless which isn’t normally the case. Kyle, the finance guy was super helpful and helped move along the process efficiently. I drove back home that same day! There were a couple small issues with the vehicle in the following days. When I contacted them, they made things right and genuinely cared that I was having an issue. I’ve purchased probably 30 vehicles in my short 32 years on this planet and I can tell you it is rare for a dealer of this size to care at all about a customer after they have driven off, especially one that is out of state! I’m glad I made the 16 hour round trip to do business with these guys and would recommend them to anyone.

As a traveler in a strange town with car issues it’s best to go to your manufacturers local dealer. In this case Red Rock Kia in Grand Junction, Colorado is the place I went to resolve my Kia Soul issues. The service department was fantastic in resolving my issues, from the service manger to everyone involved in the service department including the service technician all who had a hand in getting my back on road to finish my trip. 👍 to everyone at Red Rock Kia in Grand Junction. I had poor customer service and the attendant was rude and did not want to honor the coupon for the oil change that was emailed to me.My car was under warranty with a broken clip and they wanted to charge me $235 to replace the clip which should have been under warranty.Then after I got home which was 100 miles from the dealership, I realized I had an oil leak, which I took to another mechanic and found out the oil plug was not secured properly. I contacted the dealership 3 times the next week and no has returned my call about the issues I had. Do not use this dealership if you want service.

Trusted Candy to give us a great car buying experience and it was exactly the opposite. Ordered a Telluride with options we wanted. Discussed that pricing would be at MSRP and waited 4 months. Show up to purchase and the vehicle is optioned out several thousand more than agreed on. Then hits us with a $10,000 additional market adjustment fee. Untrustworthy business.

The staff has been beyond helpful and understanding! Douglas, Candy, and Kyle have been awesome to work with. After my engine failing from driving through the mountains to get to California, it was a blessing to see their dealership alongside the road. They were able to get me a newer and better vehicle with ease. If I was from here I would come again!

Overall, a good experience so far (I pick up the car in about 6 days). They were willing to negotiate on the price of the used vehicle and were up front about costs. I was able to hold it with a credit card deposit and not travel 4 hours one way to do that. Hopefully when I pick up the vehicle it will be ready to hit the road. Merci and Louis were easy to work with-all done by phone- and very courteous and helpful. So far, so good! Thank you, Red Rock Kia!

Buyer beware! I could leave a very long synopsis of my experience with Red Rock Kia, but suffice it to say that they are refusing to refund my $1,000 deposit on a car I never received nor signed a purchase contract for. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company, the Colorado Motor Vehicle Dealer Board, the Colorado Consumer Protection Agency and AARP. (I am a Senior Citizen on Social Security and I feel they are taking advantage of me due to my age). Not to mention they tried to add on a $3895.00 Extended Warranty and $2500.00 dealer markup without my consent. Come on guys...just take the ethical road and refund my deposit! I would never recommend this dealership to anyone!

The manager Kyle has no business running any sort of business. My wife went in to enquire about a car, after looking for a while we decided on a vehicle. The sales people were all outstanding and super helpful... But Kyle. He decided to add on every nonsensical warranty and “upgrade” he could manage. When my wife saw the price she knew something was up and said that we will look elsewhere. We did a little research and also had her Father call in to ask about the same vehicle. Kyle told him that he could remove all of the extra warranty’s and the price would go down to a more manageable payment. So my wife drove an hour back to junction to try again. Unfortunately for her Kyle is not a man of integrity and once again tried to wrangle up a bunch of hidden Junk to raise the price. My wife then let him know that her father had called and talked to him, and he told him that he would be able to remove the extra fee’s.. after a little back and forth Kyle decided that he wasn’t going to do what he said on the phone. Unfortunately we will have to drive to Denver to deal with a proper dealership. Kyle also decided to get snarky with my wife while she was leaving by saying, “ I guess I’ll just keep the car then huh...” Do not do business with Kyle.

So I brought in my car for an ac diagnostic which took three days but it was because they had issues with their machine. The guy I worked with was great like every time I go but I am a little upset that they went and did work on my car after finding out the issue without calling me which resulted in me hearing I had a bill when I wasnt planning on it. My car was taken in for a diagnostic. I also had an appointment which apparently didnt happen because they kept it over night with out letting me know. I told them they could but a call would have been great.

Kelley Blue book offered one price for my Volkswagen convertible through Red Rock Kia when I got to Kia they offered $3,000 less. then they were going to charge me $1,000 more to pay it off. I told them that I will sell the car myself so then they sent me into the finance guy and they try to charge me another $1,000 for the car than what it was offered for online they just kept trying to take advantage of me. I will never use them again and I suggest that anybody else at least be careful and think about what theyre doing to you!will never use them again

Talk about fantastic customer service!!! I was left with no questions, totally informed with none of the old fashion tricks of the trade. Maria was amazing to work with very honest she actually cared about what my needs were and what car best fit me. I ended up with a Kia Sorrento with a fantastic deal. Then Roger stepped in to handle the paperwork he too was a pleasure to work with. The only thing that I didn’t like was the car was only coming with one key all I had to do was mention that and they took care of me. What an experience to actually work with the owners themselves. I’ve gotten a car there before so have my parents (recently and one prior) but this was the best experience ever for me. If you EVER need a good new or used car Grand West Kia are the people to see!! I honestly can’t say enough good things!! Oh and $15 dollar oil change on Wednesday come on I live in Montrose and I’ll be there for every oil change I need you can believe that!!Thank you Grand West Kia!!! We did spend more than 2 hours for service just oil change and normal inspection.I asked that the front of the inside be vacuumed and was told due to covid it was impossible. But then a service person had to get in my car and drive it in the garage.First time in 30 years i feel negative.Gary Herby

I would not recommend Red Rock Kia to anyone. I have an oil leak in my Sorento and called to make an appointment. I also requested a loaner car as I work and don’t have the luxury of sitting around for hours waiting for repairs to be done. The guy I spoke with stated there weren’t any loaner cars available!! A lot full of cars and not one loaner car available?!!! Totally unwilling to help me out and not caring that I would have to miss work. Btw…I’ve received a loaner car from them in the past.

We were personally invited to come up to Red Rock Kia for a special sales event. The salesman that we dealt with was a young man by the name of Leyton, He was very nice and helpful. We gave him a clear outline of what we were hoping to find and/or do. We gave him a price point and asked him to do something in that range.We waited for approximately 2 hours (wasted time) after meeting with Leyton for his sales manager, Jose, to talk to us. Somewhere between Leyton and Jose, everything we had told Leyton seemed to be forgotten or not communicated. Jose came up with alternatives that were $200-300 per month more than what we outlined to Leyton.After wasting 2 hours of our time, we simply asked for our keys back and walked out very dissatisfied. I have dealt with Red Rock Kia before with their service department, and all of my dealings have been excellent. This is the first time Ive ever been extremely disappointed with Red Rock Kia. I hope Jose doesnt treat all his customers like he treated us.

Unfortunately no option for negative stars! We bought a car and we’re overcharged around $3000. All the same players in other negative reviews(Jose, Kyle, Bryan, Candy). We returned to the lot to with their add showing the true price of the car. Jose and Bryan agreed to pay lender “that day” for the amount the overcharged. This was on 6/21/21. They still have not paid. We have been calling all week getting strung along, lied to and blown off. Today Candy was hostile on the phone and would not give me Kyle Campbell, or Mark Ingleby’s email address. Why not? I like to give people the benefit of the doubt - hard to believe people would be so dishonest- but they seem to be. Hate to have to get a lawyer involved, but it will likely be the next step.

Gayleen especially helped me and really took the time to show me everything about how to use the car cooler, radio, Iphone set ups, safety features and all.car drives and works great.The only thing I didnt like is I feel that what I really paid is more than they advertised on the radio. I will never buy or do any business with Red Rock Kia. Sold me a car that the engine blow within 20 days of buying it thankfully they knew it was on them of why it blew and fixed it no charge to ne. Tried contacting managers throughout the 58 day they had my car and no response from anyone. My car has a recall on it that have now attempted to fix 3 times but still have a leak in my tail light. I would not send anyone to this dealership for anything

I went to possibly trade in my wife’s Kia Optima that We had just bought last July for a AWD Kia Stinger. My mistake for thinking this would be pretty easy as We just bought our Kia here and trading in a Kia for a Kia would be smooth. We found one we liked and filled out some paper work for Candy ( sales rep ) we told candy we would like our payment around $350 a month. then Jose came out with a breakdown on payments. $1400 + a month, I almost choked, and then laughed. He said he would go check it again. Then came back saying he made a mistake ( yea a big one) with about $800 to $500 + at lowest. Upon receiving the payment breakdown from Jose I said it seemed wrong. I am bringing in a Kia I bought for $27,000 approximately 8 months ago and looking at a new one for $37,000. My payments are $269 a month now and when i seen $1400 + then even as low $500+ I knew something was wrong and immediately was not impressed. I was told this is the price and that’s it. No breakdown, no one even appraised our trade in, said we had negative equity, and in no privacy then candy said “you can’t afford it” ? I thought that was unprofessional and I said “ oh I can afford it but not paying that with a trade in, I can do math” she abruptly and sharply just kind of shut us down, and basically watched us walk out.

Poor customer service, been waiting on them to get their systems up for 3 months now, my Forte with 8,000 miles has a bad radio, they wont call you to keep you updated, every time you try and call you usually get theyre voice-mail in the service area, and they NEVER, AND I MEAN NEVER CALL YOU BACK. I traded in my car elsewhere just to get out from under this poorly run dealer. KIA has been under 3 owners in only a few years and nothing has changed. Poor equipment, poor customer service, just not the place to go. If you plan on having your vehicles serviced there, all I can say is good luck, get ready for a constant runaround and headaches. Even my purchase scenario was a nightmare, pushy sales person, bad hygiene, foul mouths, its just not a good place to buy or service a car in general.

I had full trust they would help me, and I was wrong.They have you fill out paperwork, spend all day up there, finally after waiting for the finance department you get to go! They still have not paid off my old car, will not call me back, they will not tell me where my new car is financed through. I owe a lot to Scott at the service department at Red Rock Kia. My local dealership (Van Nuys Kia) in Los Angeles completely bungled a simple oil change and didnt screw in my drain plug completely. It came loose while I was driving from LA to Colorado, and all my oil leaked out. I had my car towed to Red Rock Kia, where they diagnosed everything and found that the root cause was the other dealerships incompetence. Even though the at-fault dealership pushed back, Scott contributed his valuable time to help take care of me and make sure the at-fault dealership covered all repair costs.

I was taken advantage of by this auto group. I was involved in an accident and told I was able to be placed in a new contract with a new car. Jose verbally stated that they would be able to payoff the old lien and worked directly with my loan provider and that I needed to not worry. When it came down to it and I received the letter from my loan provider I called Jose and he repeatedly refused to acknowledge his promise and verbally binding contract. Moreso, he was so rude that he just kept telling me no, no, no, no and just hung up on me. This is the ppl you work with? These are there techniques for handling situations? My advice dont go here and if you do get everything in writing.

I bought a used jeep grand Cherokee from Red Rock Kia. My radio went black (42k miles) trying to resolve with my local deal but turns out the car is a Canadian Marketplace vehicle which causes all sorts of problems with the dealership’s ability to offer goodwill to fix the problem here in the United States as well as transfer the ownership of the radio. This dealer made no disclosure to be about this, now this will cost me $1500 for a new radio where as if this was a US vehicle is would be $100. Spoke to Brevin on the phone, he couldn’t care less. She actually started a vehicle for them then took off with the key. When we asked someone else to help us she (candy) said we had to stay with that sales lady. If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. I was searching online for a 2022 Telluride, found they had one coming in this month in the color and price I was happy with. I drove over an hour, test drove an older one they had available loved it. I went inside to look over paperwork, then found the payment was almost double what I was expecting. When I asked why it was so high I was told its not a buyer market, but theyll run the numbers and try to get it to my goal payment amount. The manager Kyle came back with about $50 lower a month, which was still way too high. When I asked what type of credit score they anticipates or interest rates they had he wasnt sure off the top of his head but without my info he couldnt know for sure. (Which I get they cant know exact rates without running my info). I told him we were way too far off and left. My father then called because young woman alone at the dealership apparently means you have to pay double. They included every warranty, sanitizing for 3 years (due to covid they offer this), endless protections... Kyle told him everything was optional but they dont typically sell cars without every warranty, but they COULD take it off. I drove back only to be told I had no choice but to keep the extra $3,400 accessories charge. This included the sanitizing, key and paint coverage. I absolutely could not buy the vehicle without the accessories if they honored the price on the website. He said he plans to mark the vehicles up around $10,000 once they arrive because theyre selling so well and its a dealer up charge. I told him I would keep my vehicle and he said that was fine he would keep his Telluride if I was really about to let JUST 3,400 keep me from getting a vehicle.LONG STORY SHORT. If you want to buy the vehicle at the listed price, you have bo choice but to add $3,400 for Kyle to sell you 3 years of sanitizing and some warranty on your paint. If you contact Kia Thornton, they will order you one at MSRP over the phone!UPDATE 7/14Today my sister and law drove to town and pulled onto the lot to just peek in the windows of a new Telluride since I’m ordering one from Denver without seeing it in person. The saleswoman Candy asked why I was not buying from them, I explained I couldnt come to a deal there previously. I was told they have no plan to order vehicles at MSRP for customers. She then asked if my plan was to have my new vehicle serviced there..? And said “you can look at the car, but hurry up. Actually look and then get off the lot.”Great service apparently is not anyone’s thing at Red Rock Kia.

I cannot fathom how this dealership stays in business. The entire Red Rock group is shockingly bad! The Nissan dealership might actually be worse, make sure you run your own Carfax on their vehicles.

Was miss lead, took advantage of me having no knowledge of the Telluride I assumed they were all AWD was baited and switched to fwd . Thinking I was dealing on a awd not knowing that telluride came in anything but. Found out it was fwd, went to resolve this was treated like I owed them and only given the chance to resolve this by trading for a 2020 with 10000 miles for over twice the payment no negotiation this is all we will do no responsibility for sales group not telling me that it was fwd. My fault I should have paid better attention. They got me never again. I would never recommend this sales team or dealership in fact Im filing complaint with state.

Careful with the numbers folks, these guys are sneaky. The numbers they scribble on their papers wont be what is in your contract. They hide everything behind the digital process and the monthly payment they show you. Ask them to print the financials from the contract so you can review the numbers. Not a single number was correct on our financing, they had increased the agreed upon price of the car, had the trade in value wrong (less than they offered), didnt have the KIA coupon or rebate discussed included in the contract either. They also had added their most expensive warranty, which we never agreed to, or even discussed. All of these things in favor of the dealership. Theyll hide all that in the monthly payment they show you, then have you sign electronically, never showing you the numbers. Our KIA is great, just be diligent, dont take their word for it, go over their numbers on the contract itself. Good Luck.

No stars they had trouble financing me and then they found the finance company would cost more and I said well I need to give Kia back the very next day and they phone shuffled me for 10 days and then took my whole thousand dollar down, hundred dollars a day fee for having the Kia. plus I left my sunglasses in the car and they magically disappeared can’t trust any of them they will rip you off the first chance I get

I would steer clear of this dealership. Originally I had an amazing review. Candy got me in and out of the dealership quickly. I got there, test drove a car. Loved it, signed the paperwork and left.They had me take some paperwork to have my husband and dad sign due to the trade in. We gave the paperwork to an employee that same night that I took the car home. I called back to make sure they got it, I was told yes.I contacted the dealership 3 times in the two weeks after I got the new car to find out why my old car still wasn’t paid off. They told me everything was okay that the paperwork was sent off and it just took longer than normal.After almost a full month of having the car, the financer company called me and said my information was innacurate and there was a chnace I would be denied.At this point I was mad, I was never told by the dealership that I was only pre-approved. The finance company asked for the correct information and Kia said they would send it in to the finance company. After 4 days they still hadn’t sent the information so I sent it myself.Then I began calling the dealership about my trade in and was lied to again. Saying the paperwork was already sent and expedited.Here’s the funny part. After threatening a lawyer, FINALLY Mark from Kia calls me and says I have been approved. He seemed to help but things still weren’t lining up and stories were not consistent.Buttt… that’s not all. I get three calls later that evening asking how I would like to make my down payment (the trade duhh). Then where is the paperwork? He suddenly finds it.The next morning I get ANOTHER call asking about this said paperwork that has already been expedited. All along the paperwork was lost. I was lied to for a month about this paperwork. They had to send someone out to get it signed again.I am beyond frustrated with Kia which is sad because I LOVE my vehicle. But they do not know how to run a buisness without lying.My loan was approved and I have all my information now and after 36 days the trade in was finally paid off.

Would give Zero stars if I could. I called one time to ask about a vehicle, it ended up not being a good fit. That was it, since then my email gets at least 2 emails a day and I am now getting mailed junk as well. So beware if you call and give them ANY personal information as you will get spammed to death after. Horrid business practice, this place is truly a used car dealership.

Extremely poor customer service and low brow business ethic. I wasnt communicated with that they let me leave the dealership without financing. I luckily wrote the name of the lender down on a business card when I left the dealership. First payment was going to be due the end of May and I called the finance company and they had nothing of record on me 2 weeks after I left with the vehicle. I called the finance department over five times and was never called back. The salesperson who sold me the cars cell phone was disconnected. Called the dealership directly and got ahold of the salesperson who sold me the car. They gave me a new cell number and texted me that my finance company was who I thought it was and the loan would be booked either that day or the next. I let another week go by and had zero correspondence from the finance company and called my salesperson back and the number was no longer valid, AGAIN. Major red flag. I thought after 35 days of the finance company not having me on record I was going to have to give the car back and absorb a bunch of fees. Called the dealership one more time, talked to another sales person who told me my finance person had just stepped out for a half hour. I said its curious thats always the case. He patronizingly asked me if Id ever considered coming in to talk to someone. Called the finance company and the customer service rep told me the loan was sent back to the dealer the prior week and they hadnt responded. I was making peace with having to give the car back. I called the finance company one last time this last Friday and they had my loan. I called at least 6 times and left messages and never got one call back from the finance department. I dont recommend this dealer. They are shady. I have two friends in other states that work in dealerships and they both told me its rare these days to leave with a car thats not financed. I would have come to the dealer if I didnt buy the car out of town as my area has no Kia dealership. As the customer, Im not responsible for being ignored. Do business the right way and own that you withheld all the facts during the deal. If Id known I wasnt financed. I wouldnt have left with the car. Another lesson learned.

I brought the car in for a repair, they found some pending recalls and called me immediately to ask if I had the time to leave the car so all could be addressed, which I really appreciated. I had an excellent experience with Red Rock Kia.My salesman Trent Ray was very communicative, friendly, and easy to work with. He facilitated my out-of-state sale without any trouble, managing all the negotiations via email and text to save me a tremendous amount of time at the dealership.When I flew in, Trent and the GM Mark Ingelby had a hotel reserved for me, and Trent even picked me up in my Stinger so I could test drive the car on the way to the dealership. The paperwork process was smooth, and all the staff were great to work with.I highly recommend Red Rock Kia. I flew halfway across the country because their service and prices couldn’t be beaten.

The people here apparently don’t communicate with each other. They picked up a car from me that they bought and then gave me copies of paperwork, but no bill of sale. No big deal. It took about a week of “oh we will come this day wait no this day” until they finally came to get it. The person picking up my car had no idea what the paperwork was, not his fault but maybe someone could have filled him in? Two months later I am trying to get the Bill of Sale and it has been three days since i was supposed to have it, and the person says “oh i haven’t heard anything about it.” Also, someone said “oh no you’re looking for a power of attorney.” Why would I sign a power of attorney for selling a vehicle? They also kept directing me to Hyundai but Hyundai does not have my information because i sold my vehicle to red rock Kia?? After this interaction i would not even consider doing business here. I regret selling my car to Red Rock Kia.

They let me drive several vehicles until I found one that was perfect for me and my budget. I am now the happy owner of a KIA Sportage. My sales representative was Josefina. She was great for my shopping style. She let me look at several vehicles to decide which ones I would drive. I liked her sales style and, if it wasnt for her stand back approach, I might have continued looking at other dealerships. She Let me go at my pace. She did not rush me. She did not act as if other people were waiting for her to get the job done and go to the next person. My daughter and I stopped by to look around. Today. The first salesmen came up and asked what we are looking for and we told him we just wanted to look around. He said ok if we needed anything to let him know. We started looking and another guy came out and hounded us about what we were there for and was VERY rude. Said it was boring thing to do to just look around and said well alright, walk around yourself then. Dont give this dealership your business. We drove 4 hours from Utah to Colorado to look at a Subaru that was advertised for $9700. The car was in good shape and we were excited about figuring out a deal. When we started negotiating, we were surprised when they said they had to charge us $1000 over the asking price because we are not financing. On top of this, they have a $600 doc fee in GRAND JUNCTION! So a $9700 car suddenly cost $11,300. Whats worse is that they said these things with a straight face with no grimace as if they do it all day, every day. This was from the new management team that was trying to fix Grand West Kias bad reputation. They renamed the dealership. Give them a few more months and their reputation will be in the toilet. We didnt buy the car and hope this review saves you a long frustrating drive.

I recommend finding another dealership to purchase from. They are not interested in anything other then robbing you. They insist that they paid MSRP for a car and that they have no room to negotiate. The finance officer tried to add warranty’s without our permission. If I hadn’t known what to look for I would have paid thousands more for the car.

Went in to look at a truck on a Saturday they made the sale since then I have gotten letters from over 18 Banks about credit ✔️ when I thought it was going to be between three Banks is what I was told. and Ive still not got the registration paperwork so I can get my license plates its been 5 months numerous other things. Including no callbacks for management after leaving numerous messages. Zero attempts to make anything right which of course the only thing that matters in this situation...$ to be fair this is my fault I traded in my original Kia Sorento that I bought brand new at this dealership under another name four years ago and had a horrible experience I guess Im a glutton for punishments

People were friendly but not truthful. They tried to make us a deal and the price was higher than posted online. They had the car posted at 27k and tried to sell for 30k. They tried feeding dinner to keep us there and brought it to us with spilled drinks and the bag was ripped in half. We said we would think about it and the next day we seen it online posted for 23k. Not cool! Do not recommend, dont mistaken niceness for truthfulness.
