Friendly.Easy to interact/ contact etc.Reasonable prices. And super fast getting work done! I will be back!!!
My daughter took the car shed just bought in for a tune up and was told thet it didnt need it. The plugs were recently changed and everything looked good they couldve easily gone ahead and done it anyway and charged her full price but instead she walked out and only paid for an oil change that she decided to get done just to be on the safe side (so shed know exactly when it needed done again) It was nice to see a place not taking advantage of someone because they were female and somewhat mechanically challenged.
Went in for a break inspection thinking it’s free like everywhere else’s, but I get charged $35 not to mention they break my vehicle key as well as my brakes still squeak
Ill go out on a limb, this is probably the most expensive car place in the Valley. Standard tune up $650+, first 3 calls in town all under $500, opted for an oil change, still over $100. Good service, but the prices are atrocious.
Good survives nice people did a good job on my car
Very unprofessional, really need to work on customer service, I actually overheard staff say that I didnt know what I was talking about because I was female.
To start, not one employee was wearing a mask during my visit. Not even around their neck or mouth. Hey, everyone has their opinion, but for business employees in Colorado it’s not an option. The lack of professionalism represented in a complete disregard of state orders should say enough as to how much they care about their customers.I would maybe be able to overlook this if the employees were friendly and helpful, but they don’t even have that going for them as the gentleman behind the counter was rude and didn’t make even a minimal effort to gain my business. I’ve been a long-term Midas customer, but this is the final straw and I will be taking my vehicles elsewhere from here out.
I was traveling through town with young children and my front brakes started smoking. I called one business in town and was asked if I purchased the original brakes through them. I said no and they said they could not get me in that day. I called Midas and they got me right in. Tom showed me what was wrong, what happened when the brakes were smoking and answered all the questions I had when it came to replacing what needed fixed. Additionally, I have a lifetime warranty now on those pads so when they need replaced we will go back to Midas. I was in a very big bind and they were extremely helpful, thank you!!
Quick, friendly, affordable
Worst place I have ever been. Go anywhere else or fix it yourself before coming here. Extremely unprofessional. Very dirty. No masks. Manager was watching a vulgar show with lots of swearing and dirty jokes, talking about how he did want to be there. Took longer than they quoted. I asked them to check for air pressure, fluids, brakes, the general inspection that comes with most oil changes and they only checked the air filter. $120.00 for and oil change and air filter.
Oil change... Why am filling my fluids after i leave and going to another place to have my tires checked?? Useless and rude dont think my tires got rotated( they wont do it unless u request it .. I did) in the past they let me know they hadnt been rotating. Thats whole reason i take my truck in to pay for it to be done. I will NEVER give these ppl my money again. Dont think they are fast. They are just lazy and dont do half of what you ask. ( or pay for)
Extremely helpful and friendly staff, very well priced, and outstanding service.
They got me in quick. Ive worked at Automotive repair shops for over 35 years. This shop is not the cleanest, usually its better to have a front counter person thats clean, well groomed and professional. They earned the 4 stars from me today. Maybe next time theyll get 5?
Awesome
Amazing service quality work and very affordable
Their employee Grant has TERRIBLE customer service skill. He was incredibly rude and had a bad attitude over all. When asked about price over the phone he hung up, and when we showed up to the store he refused to help my girlfriend get an oil change for her car. He was being disrespectful when trying to give us information. We are never coming back.
My bad experience started as soon as I walked through the door. I was greeted by a rude worker that instead of asking what he could do for me, he rudely asked why I was there. I quickly asked if I could get an oil change for my car and he said it would be an hour and a half wait (which I expected), so I handed him my keys and he took down my information. Keep in mind I asked only for an oil change. Despite waiting an hour and a half, I receive a call from them trying to up charge me with 30$ air filters and new tires, I politely decline and ask when the car will be finished and they said they haven’t even got to my car yet so I decide to walk across the street and grab a beer at Old Chicago’s. 30 minutes later I receive a call saying my car is finished so I finish my beer and head back over. After over paying for the oil change, and also paying 15$ in fees that they associate with the oil change, I check my oil life gauge on my car and it says that my oil life is at 15%. So I open the good and I have less than 1/3 of oil in my car. Turns out they never even got to my car. Disappointed and will never return.
Visit 1: Terrible customer service. The website invites you to make an appointment, but upon arrival you are told we dont make appointments. Then told the wait will be 5 hours. Older gentlemen was very rude while delivering this information.Visit 2: Thinking the first visit maybe was a bad day we tried several months later. Walk in being they dont do appointments. It was 2 hours before closing needing a brake check. Young gentlemen checks us is then older man from 1st visit asks him if they are leaving. Older man makes a grumbling complaint under his breath. We got our keys back and went to another business in town! And that my friends is how small businesses lose customers.
The guy at the counter had a bad attitude and wasnt friendly. On the bright side. They got me in and out and the mechanic guy was nice. He put my truck back on the rack when I didnt think everything was right. Im happy with the work done on my truck but I personally wont go back. Customer service is #1 in my book.
I took my car there after finding out that there was something really wrong with my brakes. I needed someone to look at them right away and most of the other garages in town I called were booked. The guys at Midas were amazing. They were professional and nice. I knew what was wrong with the car and they had no problem working with me in how they would fix everything. I definitely felt like they listened to my concerns and addressed them. They were very reasonably priced for the amount of work they did on my car, and they were able to get me on my way quickly.Highly recommend the crew at Midas! Please give them a chance next time you need someone to take a look at your vehicle!
Great job. In and out quickly.
Would rate less if I could. The whole life of my car I have always done conventional oil changes without a problem; was told there there was NO WAY they could do that because Ford recommends semi or full synthetic. All major dealers always recommend, not require. Anyways, I played their game and asked for semi-synthetic. Upon picking my car up, I was charged for full synthetic, along with about 6 other fees they charge, PLUS LABOR FOR AN OIL CHANGE. I have never been charged labor on an oil change since its typically included in the price. My shouldve-been $19.99 oil change costed $72, and then when I told them that was ridiculous I was given a courtesy price of $63.70. Ive never paid more than $35 for an oil change, including semi-synthetic. Terrible all around from customer service to pricing to cleanliness. Will never go back again and HIGHLY RECOMMEND you dont go there either. Crazy rip-off.
Went in for an oil change and check engine light. Very respectful(albeit short) and were very to the point. While in there, they serviced another woman who presented some difficulties (wouldnt get out of the car, wanted it fixed right then, it was just a taillight out so they agreed to fix it quickly if she just backed it in) They were very kind and I would go there again!
The quote I received for front struts was really high, found a local company that quoted significantly less, sorry Midas.
Revised review: it looked like a repair was incomplete, but on review, was fine.
I walked in, being from Michigan, with a problem. It sounded like something was falling off the underside of my car. They hoisted my car and 15 minutes and $19 later, the issue was fixed and it is REALLY fixed. Being a female from a far away state, they could have snowed me but they didnt. I was amazed and pleased and I would recommend this shop any time any day. Thank you guys as I continue my road trip
When people write reviews, they typically do so because they had the worst experience ever and rant on and on about what went wrong. Well Im here to tell you the about the best experience Ive had. I own a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and I was having trouble figuring out what was wrong with it because it only started half of the time. I took it to three different mechanics in grand junction and they all gave me different ideas and spend hundreds of dollars. When I went to Midas they diagnosed it literally in a minute (happened to be the starter) and I was on my way within the hour with a great price and great service. Not even a week later the brakes needed to be replaced, and I found myself back and Midas. They replaced them no problem and again had great costumer service. Then yet again a few days after that our car sneezed antifreeze everywhere, overheated in a minute etc etc. It was in pretty bad shape and we barely made it to Midas, unfortunately it was Sunday but we were able to leave it there overnight and come back the next morning. They again diagnosed it in a minute (and we took it to autozone earlier to see if they could just tell us what was going on and they looked for 15 minutes and couldnt even tell.) I just want to thank the Midas team and their manager Tim for being extremely helpful, friendly, professional, and also giving us the best prices for what I needed. I will never go to another shop in Grand Junction again, Midas takes care of you the best!
They got me in and out fast and at a fair price. Job well done.
Good prices on oil changes but customer service could be improved as could upkeep on the lobby. If you can get past this, it’s not a bad spot to get a quick oil change!
I took my 2002 Dodge Ram in to have the exhaust tips replaced. I received a call after dropping off my truck and they told me that my exhaust pipes had rusted through and the muffler had rust as well. I had them replaced. I had bought the muffler currently on my truck from them 5 years ago. When I went to pick up my truck, my husband went with me. They had installed exhaust tips that were smaller than the ones originally on it. I was ok with it but my husband was not. He asked if they had the same size and we were told they didn’t. Then he went to look at them with the mechanic and when he saw the muffler that was taken off he was concerned because it didn’t look bad. And he loaded the old muffler in the truck and after examining it when we got home, it was in fact, still good. I feel like customer service could use some help. In my opinion, if I had been told they didn’t have the same tips, which I actually asked about black ones and they did not have either. It would have been nice for them to let me know and ask if it was ok to put different ones on. So WE are looking for the tips I want on it, I would think a “muffler shop” would have exactly what I wanted. We agreed to have them take off the ones they put on and Replace them with the ones I buy. Good customer service would have been we do not carry what you want in stock we can special order ones for an additional cost if you would like or I am sorry we only carry one size....and my muffler did they do that just because I was a woman I wouldn’t know. I like doing business with people who are honest. I will not be gong back.
These guys are slow, terrible, and overpriced. They charge a diagnostic fee for everything, even if you tell them exactly what to do. Just the diagnostic on simple fixes took an hour and a half. The oil change and putting in a lowbeam light took longer. It apparently costs $20 for them just to plug in a fuse that they noticed was unplugged. If you need anything beyond an oil change these guys will bleed you. And even then, they arent trustworthy. They tell us every 3,000 miles that our air filter is filthy and needs to be changed...despite buying it brand new every time from them.In short, dont come here. Go just about anywhere else.
Had an emergency last-minute trip to make over to Denver. Was near midas, and although I have never use them for any automotive services I felt that it would be a good choice. After calling to make sure that I wouldn’t need an appointment and that I could get right in I was informed that it would be 30 to 40 minutes for the service, and I went in for a simple full-service synthetic oil change in my Yukon. I was aware of some other issues that needed to be handled but I also knew that they were not urgent, and I did not want to have anything but the oil changed. At the end of the service I was informed that the cost would be nearly $107! Having serviced my vehicles in this area for sometime I knew that this was not a reasonable price and I asked why the charge so much. I was then informed that there was an air filter Installed without me being asked I was also informed that there were other excessive charges such as labor, shop materials etc. The only additional charge ever mentioned was a five dollar disposal fee in addition to the $59 that was going to be charged for the service after a $10 coupon was applied to the original $69 service fee. I informed them that I was not willing to pay more than what I was originally quoted. With some resistance and a serious lack of customer service I was Charged a whopping $86 for my oil change. I proceeded to question this charge as it did not add up still, he didn’t realize that there was still an additional charge for the air filter I was then refunded the additional $19.99, however that refund will not show on my account for at least 24 hours. I contacted brakes plus as a reference to my situation. They informed me that out the door charged a whopping $86 for my oil change I proceeded to question this charge as it did not add up still, he doesn’t realize that there was still an additional charge for the air filter I was then refunded the additional $19.99, however that refund will not show on my account for at least 24 hours. I contacted brakes plus as a reference to my situation. They informed me that Their charge would be, out the door, $68. This was a classic situation of a mechanic trying to take advantage of a female who they assumed would not know any better. I will be sure to let people know about my experience with midas and I will not be returning to them for any business.
I took my car into Midas to have my tire repaired on the 19th of March at 8:30. I went to the counter and asked (Glen) if I could have my tire repaired and he noticed I had a GE Fleet card and he said he would not repair my tire using the fleet service card. He then retracted and said he would repair my tire for $20.00 but he would not use my fleet card. I was the only car in the parking lot and he told me that. Unbelievable! I told him I would take it elsewhere. I was happily welcomed and serviced by Firestone. I am now a Firestone customer.I was surprised how lazy Glen was which is a huge reflection on this franchise.Grand Junction is a small town and I will be sure to pass the word about how lazy the service manager was and that my car was the only car in your parking lot and I was greeted by someone with no enthusiasm for my business. Business must be good. Haha
Great service and great price!
Deserves a zero. Brought in vehicle and the old man there was extremely rude and flippant with remarks about the age of the vehicle. Called him out on being extremely unprofessional and he walked off muttering curse words.
The guy at the counter was so rude. I had a coupon for an oil change and he told me it needed to be printed out so I couldnt use it, but nowhere on the coupon did it say it needed to be printed. Then after he took my car he charged me $45 but couldnt tell me how much it would cost BEFORE they did the work. I feel like I got taken advantage of because Im a girl.
Terrible service. They were very rude and they were not clear on prices at all. Dont waste your time here. They will over charge you and belittle you.
Most honest mechanics I ever known Ill recommend them to all my town
I got the package oil changes....u think its all paid...but ur charged for parts and shop supplys like additional 10.00 plus....i wont go back.guys in bay seem unhappy in there job.
Awesome service
Service was very prompt and affordable. Would definitely go back.
Friendly staff, prices reasonable. Service complete in a timely manner
They are Amazing
A week ago I would have gave them 5 stars. Ive had my truck and wifes car in before and felt like I was treated fairly, but I just had them check my brakes and they told me the caliper got so hot on the front drivers side that it melted. I know how hot something would have to get to melt cast iron and I didnt believe it. I did need new pads and rotors, but my calipers were just fine - NO DAMAGE AT ALL! They quoted me over $700 - I did it myself in just over 2 hours for about $175. A little honesty and a fair price would have kept me coming back. The only reason Im not giving them 1 star is because its hard to find an honest shop - there are plenty places just as disappointing...*cough*Scottys*cough*Big O Tires on North Ave*cough*
They put all new brakes and roders on my vehicle because I was going on a vacation to Wyoming . I thought it was a great job until I made it to Wyoming and I started having issues with my vehicle . went to a midas there to let them know my issue and was told it was an electrical issue and that it had nothing to do with my brakes. took it to my mechanic in Wyoming to inspect it and make sure it was even drivable . my brake light kept dinging and sounding while I drove and it was ridiculous. brought it home 7 hours of constant dinging. took it to my mechanic in grand junction. he told me about the problem, I asked him if someone were to have done my brakes could it have caused this issue, he informed me that yes if they had flushed the old fluid back in this was my problem and not only was it a big deal but a 3,000 deal......not worth it in the end I traded in my vehicle with barely 100,000 miles .......will never go back to them again
No complaints on service and labor, a little dirty inside the wait area. Overall experience is great and I would recommend them.
Needed a oil change. Was out of there in less than 30mim.
DO NOT STOP HERE THEIVES, THEIVES, THEIVESTook my Vehicle in because I was having issue with AC, did not want to wait for a week or so for another shop to be able to get to my vehicle, man was that a mistake. I guess there is a reason they were not booked up a week in advance like the other shops around town. Anyway after $120 for diagnostics and 10 oz of coolant they sent me on my way, AC never worked after that and their solution was that I spend another $150 to replace a hose that they thought might be plugged up. I was hesitant so I took it to another shop for a scond opinion and turns out, my system had vertuially no coolant in it, they tested for leaks and found none - after cahrging the system (supposedly what Midas did a week prior ) the AC works great. ILL NEVER go back to MIDAS
Polite fast great prices
Way overpriced took to long to actually talk to somebody if you want nice people and honesty go to Scottys
Lousy customer service. Couldnt bother leaving the back office to tell me its a 4 hour wait for an oil change and they dont take appointments.
Didnt even make it through a phone call the guy was so rude.
Polite service. Dont try and over sell
They told me I needed both front and rear brakes. Got a second opinion and only needed front brakes. Price at alternate shop was $90 less. Displeased and will never go there again.
Went in today around 2:00 for an oil change. Guy up front was very rude and stated they were done for the day, however hours of operation advertised a later closing time. Horrible customer service.. lost me as a customer.
Go to for oil change. Online coupon gets you 20$ of. Takes the price down to 20$.
Have to make an appointment way in advance to even get in there
Fixed my tire and had me on my way in a half hour.

They were extremely rude treated me like crap and told me they would help then turned around and rudely told me that they wouldnt help at all.
