Had a nail stuck in my tire. They fixed it super fast and didnt charge me because they where super busy A++++ experience. When I need new tires or repairs will definitely be going back.

Took my car in and said I needed about $1500 worth of work. Front brakes, back brakes, front struts, and rear shocks. I couldnt afford all that so just had the front brakes done at the time. Well after I noticed a noise took it in and they said everything was fine. Didnt even drive it. Still needed bake brakes as they only had 2000 miles and were grinding! Had a mechanic friend do the work and my back brakes where perfectly fine!!!!! I do not like being taken advantage of!

We were just getting ready to start our trip back home to Oregon from Ridgway, Co. Just the day before, we heard a scraping sound from the rear axle and had a local mechanic check it. Turns out we had a bad rotor and pad shaving metal off the rotor. Bad news and worse was that no one in the area had the time to work on it. Since we had to drive the motorhome, towing the Jeep, through Grand Junction, I called this Big O as it was on our route home. I spoke with Victor, explained our problem and what we needed. He checked fir parts while I was on hold, and said he had the parts and could fit it’s in. Arrived at Big O, disconnect Jeep and drive it to Big O. Victor got it in right away, had the parts, plus turned out we needed calipers too. Within 3 hours all was replaced and we were back on the road! Kudos to Victor and the Big O team for keeping us in schedule. My thanks to them.

I moved away from Grand Junction almost 3 years ago and still get my tires from Mike at this Big O his customer service is off the chart and has always beat all other prices. I strongly recommend him for all your tire needs!!

Came here on a Saturday to get tires put on my car. Left with a broken transmission mount, marks on my transmission pan from where their lift crushed it...its now the following Wednesday, and I have two out of four tires, going soft. You get what you pay for, I guess...

Not a helpful shop. Came in with my RV while traveling through the area on our roadtrip through Utah. One brake was overheating, shop associate stated that the technician who works on trailers was not in. Its a brake repair replacement shop. Trailer drums are not that different than typical drums. Must be that magnet thingie that shoke his confidence. I moved on to my next campsite, jacked the trailer, removed 5he shredded drum internals and moved along finishing my roadtrip. Not rocket surgery!

Took new rims and tires in to be mounted, and in return they let me know that one of my rims was bent... AFTER they already had mounted and balanced. Their answer was to call the manufacturer that I got the rim from and take it up with them.... except they had already mounted and balanced the unit. Not sure how they missed the massive ding in the rear lip when they were doing this. Also machine lips right where the ding was at. I was also told I could take a mallet to my new rims to fix it??? They didn’t call to let me know my rim was bent either, they didn’t let me know until I was loading my wheels. A little odd to me, i will never take my vehicles here again, in fear of improper equipment use that they will not make right

Brittany and Matt were absolutely amazing to us and my mom. She bought a used car, and of course a few months later all sorts of things started to fail. Matt was extremely patient with us, and after our 3rd time bringing it to them, he spent about 2 days checking and rechecking the car.Brittany was so sweet, and made sure we knew what was going on with the car, and Matt took the time to explain what was wrong.Weve been taking our Lexus there for 3 years, and they have always taken good care of us. And now they have taken good care of my mom and her vehicle.I highly recommend them, especially Matt!

Just got new tires for my new van and I had a great experience !! also loving my new tires . the guy who greeted me was really nice and helpful. I also had to bring my three young kids with me and the workers let them watch from the bench outside . we also got checked on throughout the time we were there to let us know the progress or time left . Ive mainly gone to the big o on north, and they would always try to tell me my vehicle needed lots more work done and I felt pressured being a woman . but I didnt have that issue here at all. so I will definitely be coming to this shop for regular vehicle maintaince from now on. also really cool to see a female working in the shop when this is an industry that people are expecting men and she was just as great as the men there . so kudos to big o.

Thanks Matt, Will, and Tommy in the service center for always taking good care of me. Theyre always honest, respectful and upfront with me and treat me like family. They dont do the normal politics of auto repair shops, no BS, they just tell it how it is and always make sure that at the end of the day Im being taken care of. I never have to wait long for my car, and in fact my car always gets back to me before expected. They work hard and are have excellent customer service. It never feels like Im getting my car taken care of, it feels like Im being taken care of. I wont trust anyone else with my car. Theyre the reason I trust and recommend Big O wholeheartedly. I have the WORST luck on my current SUV with tires. They always take great care of me and the road hazard warranty is a huge plus! Theyve replaced a tire and done numerous repairs for all the nails I seem to catch.

On a road trip from California came in to fix an air leaking tire. Super friendly Victor was awesome taking great care of me. Thanks a lot! Highly recommend

Took our car in to have a low tire fixed, while they did get it it promptly and did fix the tire, the service is questionable. They did not replace the valve stem cover, and after returning home and checking on the tire pressures, each tire was filled to a different pressure. One tire was over 10 pounds lower than the rest. None of the employees were wearing state mandated masks either. This is not the first time we have received service like this. In the past buying tires from them we had to return three times as a new tire kept going flat. We also requested a brake check which was never done. Based on these two experiences, we will not be returning to this big o store.

My vehicle was delivered by transport after a blown tire and failed spare. A selection of replacement tires were offered and I selected a Big O brand pair to run on the front drive wheels. It was ok. After I saw my car drive out of the garage I knew it was finished I waited about 30 minutes finally I stood up and said I think my car is ready and they oh yeah. I know they were super busy and have new owners but really?

I really cant say much. The tire that needed repair, also had a little wear on the outside edge. I think the wear was due to being low on pressure. The store refused to repair the tire. This tire has been leaking for some time & I have just been putting air in it about every 3 months. It is a very slow leak. I used to be in the tire business, so I think I know a little about tires. Due to the fact that you wouldnt repair it, I have made another decision. I will do what all people that repair tires dread. I will let it get down again & then put a can of tire sealant in it. Problem solved! I will have the leak stopped & you will have one hell of a mess to clean up the next time I put tires on this vehicle. I know this is no more than a ploy to force people to purchase new tires, but I refuse to be pushed. There are other places that sell tires! This isnt the first problem that I have had with Big O Tire. You do have people lie to customers to do unneeded repairs. It is a game because they get a commission on what they sell. In 2014 I was told that I needed to do a repair on a vehicle to this day, 5 years later, I still have not done that repair. I also had one of your stores try to charge me 1.5 hour labor to install a serpentine belt, that took approximately 15 minutes to install. That manager was fired the same day I raised hell about it with the higher ups. I will use other sources in the future. You have asked the wrong person for a pat on the back! Thank you.

I was able to get the best price in town here. They didnt ignore me (a woman)like another tire place in town. They even called to let me know the tires i purchased were not the same size as the ones currently on the truck. They got to the job right away and finished in a timely manner at the best price i could find. Ask for Mike.

I have been a customer of the Big O on Highway 6&50 for many years. I buy my tires there, but also use it for oil changes and routine maintenance. I have found that they are honest, will give me the truth, but not pressure me to get unnecessary or non-urgent repairs.

Ive generally had good experiences with big o. Today was not. I brought in a car with a nail in the tire. They never called to tell me it was done. After 2 1/2 hours I went in. The car was done. But it took 20 minutes just to allow me to pay there $18 for the repair. After charging that much the could have at least done a good job, but when I got home the tire was inflated to 45 psi, 36 is the spec for that car 24-32 is normal, 45 can damage tires.Needless to say I wont be going back to that dealer. Ill stick to the one on north by 29 rd

Great, fast service. This was our first time at this Big O. While I was waiting I noticed that Mike who works there knew a lot of customers by name. To me this shows great customer service and lots of repeat customers. We will definitely be back next time we need the tires rotated

I really cant express just how much i appreciate Mike, Matt, Tommy, and the gang. They can do any thing, and they are willing to bend over backwards to help. Their prices are great, the service is excellent, their knowledge and skill is outstanding! As long as they are there, I will never go anywhere else to get my vehicle worked on!!

Don’t bother making an appointment two weeks early...they have every excuse in the world why they are 90 minutes late just pulling it into the shop. The place was horribly unorganized and the female staff member was flippant and rude. She did not like being held to honor their commitment and appointment time. While a sister company to NTB, they are not even in the same stratosphere of service. Go somewhere else to avoid the irritation and lengthy delays.

My mother had her tires rotated and balanced and then we had issues with wobbling in the car. When it was taken back to big o they said the lug nuts had been put on wrong and that’s what caused the issue. That we would have to take them back to whoever put them in....it was them. They did fix that. But they want to charge $160.00 for labor for less than 2 hours of work to fix something else on the car that in my opinion stems from the wobbling issue due to the lug nuts. We will not be taking the car back here.

Pretty decent prices but 30 bucks to fill your tires with nitrogen is a scam. Air is already 70 percent nitrogen and a tank of it is dirt cheap so I really dont think its worth 8 dollars per tire or even usefully in any way.

Unprofessional, incompetent, unethical. This business has a standard procedure of lying to customers about the time it will take to complete, or even start. a job. When you get an initial time of 2 hours and then get told at the 2 and a half hour mark that it will still be another hour and a half,..you know youve been intentionally and deliberately lied to.If you like deceptive business practices. this is the place for you. everyone else would be better served by going elsewhere. I wish I could leave a review with zero stars, or negative stars. These people wasted my day for a lousy 100$ service.

I got a flat a couple weeks ago, went to this big o location to get a new tire, ended up having to replace all of them, which wasnt the end of the world... Cost me a small fortune but tires are ridiculously over priced to begin with.... Well long story short, it took over 5 hours to get my tires put on.... An hour or two, sure.... But 5 hours???? Im sorry, but I saw my tires arrive hours before they ever got finished.... And to make matters worse, later I noticed my brakes were making noises theyve never made before...so.. I needed to get my oil changed again so I went back a couple weeks later and mentioned the brakes were making noises and that it only started doing this AFTER they did my tires..... Well the guy told me they would charge me $50 to even look to see what was wrong with them, are you kidding? It only started after I got these tires, why am I paying more for you to fix whatever you clearly did to my brakes...... Well today topped the cake.... My boyfriend was driving and I was in the passenger seat and I noticed every time he turned the wheel to the left, my front passenger side tire made a thumping noise... Seriously guys. My car has never given me any problems until now.... I will never take my car to these guys ever again... This is ridiculous....

I came in on 12/18/17 to have my tire diagnosed and the gentleman wearing a Matco Tools hat quickly found a staple which was effecting the tire pressure and offered to fix it right then. I Couldnt stay but told him I would be back the following day and on 12/19/17 Brittney got me in right away to have the tire fixed. The same Gentleman from the previous day fixed the tire and thanked me for my business. Brittney was great and offered me some water while I waited and I had another gentleman check on me while I was sitting in the lobby as well to make sure I was being taken care of. A simple patch repair and they have earned my business for the future for sure! Thank you

When had tires mounted balanced and in the process they broke a cap for my rim. Was told by GM he would replace it for free. Went in four different times and called five and still nothing. Three months later small claims court. If u want good service dont!!!! Go here!

I have been visiting this Big O location for 14 years and love all the staff, especially Mike! Mike always remembers my name, knows my car and handles my service requests professionally - he unfortunately was not there this past Saturday so I will be sure and stop by so I can say hello to him when I am next in the area!

Went in 3 weeks ago to have a flat tire fixed. Ended up getting 2 new front tires so that I could use one of the older ones as a spare. After getting home from picking it up I found that they had put the spare in the back if my SUV instead of up under the car. Called Alex and was told I could bring it back in when I had a minute Took it back in the following weekend and was told it would be a 1 1/2 to 2 hour wait. Told the guy I didnt have time to wait...HE ROLLED HIS EYES AT ME. Nice.

Called two days in advance, and was assured the part I needed was available and the work would be done. I drove 1,000 miles and was at the shop when they opened, only to be told the part wasnt available and that I would have to wait a day. They shouldnt have made a promise they couldnt keep, especially when they knew I was passing through and that having to wait for the part would be a major inconvenience. One member of the staff was defensive, incredibly rude, not the least bit apologetic, and made no effort to accommodate me.I went to AA Automotive and they took care of me.

Our family already likes Big O tires for our tires and fluid changes. We got in a pickle while on a road trip getting a check charging system warning just as we hit grand junction after a few hours of driving. We were able to bring in the new alternator and have it changed in about 1.5 hours at Big O Tires to get back on our way. Such a relief. And they checked belts and battery too. Thank you.

North Avenue GJ store stripped my lug nuts broke my studs and sent me out of there with them missing. After telling me that there guys were just lazy. I thought that was strange after my truck was in the bay near me for about two hours.I went straight home and popped off a hubcap and one stud was missing all the studs where stripped two studs had non factory nuts.So I drove back to the store. And the same guy that told me about the lazy workers was outside. I asked him why he lied about something so simple that they probably could have made money to fix. He said he didn’t. So I showed him the broken and stripped lugs. Nothing was said.I demanded to see the manager. Who said they would take care of it. Took my truck back to the alignment center. Had my truck for another hour and replace the broken stud and said the rest were fine. I watched through the window they didn’t even check the three other wheels. After my four hour oil change tire rotation I didn’t want to wait anymore.They used to be my favorite but now I wouldn’t go there for a free oil change.

Getting tires from Big O on US 6 was a great experience. Everyone was super friendly and they worked insanely quick. They were all personable and very professional. After our tires were put back on Matt looked over our mechanical issues after our accident and was truthful and beyond helpful. We can not thank this store enough for the outstanding service! Although this was the first Ive used Big O, the service was speedy and professional. I gave 4 stars because i only got new tires put on and balanced.

Ford quoted me 250$ to replace rusted, swollen lug nuts! (Yes, I guess its a real thing with Ford. The chrome cover just spins and wont break the lug nut.) I stopped into Big O Tires, no appointment, these guys not only got new new lug nuts for 30$ they rotated my tires too! Super friendly and got me out the door in less than 45 minutes! Ill be going back for all my tire needs.

I got hit by another driver and needed to replace my rim. They didnt have it and no one locally did. I had to order it online which took a while. I spent many hours here calling around locally and the staff was very nice and helpful.

I checked for the availability and price of tires online at this store. When I arrived they said that they didnt have these tires and they didnt have them at the warehouse, but they could get them from a third party--of course it would cost more. A classic bait-and-switch. It is unethical (and in some places illegal). An obscure disclaimer on a website does not remove your responsibility.

I walked in and there was a clerk available who took my car in right away. They told me expected time was going to be 40 minutes and I was leaving 15 minutes later. Very fast friendly service.

This big O finally fixed my tires, but they kept going flat until I came in for the 3rd time. Wont get my oil changed here, Ive had problems in the past. The staff is really friendly and dont try to haggle you into buying unnecessary services like a lot of other places, which Is nice

I had my new tires from my truck rotated and balanced by them. Since then the pressure sensor failure light has been coming on and off. I stopped at a station to have the tires checked for a nail or something. The pressures were all off from each other and one of the valve caps were missing. I have had to try and find a new one but it will be a special item to order now it seems. I will try to contact them to see what they are willing to do. But so far. Not good service.

I bought a set of four tires from Big O Tires and as soon as I drove on the highway the rear tires started to vibrate a great deal. I called the Big O and I was told that I can go to any Big O to have the tires properly balanced. I visited the next available Big O store where I was told that it would take possibly three days before that Big O could take my vehicle in, thus rendering the Big O’s nationwide coverage bogus. I ended up going to a different car mechanic and paid (again) to have the tires balanced. I was hugely disappointed at the poor workmanship and bad customer service at the Big O stores.

They lie about providing services. I took my car in for a tire rotate today and I was curious what the rotation pattern was for my all-wheel drive Subaru so I took a picture of my passenger rear tire because it had a distinctive mark. When I came back they told me the tire rotation is done and gave me my keys but the marked tire was in the exact same place! They even moved the car into a different spot to make it look like they did the tire rotate. Now I wonder how many times they lied about changing my oil in the past. All three Big O tires in Grand Junction are owned by the same person so I would avoid at all cost. At the very least only let them work on your car if you can watch them and you know enough about cars to tell if they actually provided the service they charged you for.Ive written numerous reviews on here and this is my only one thats less than 4 stars. Big O really earned this 1 star review.

Super nice gentlemen helped us. He explained and showed us what needed to be replaced/repaired. Cost was reasonable and he even found us some coupons.

One day, my fiancé came in for alignment and tires. We had to come back a few days later and waited over two hours just to find out they put on one bad tire and when they ordered a tire from another store, they were sent the wrong tire because of an incorrect sticker. We now have to come back for a third day because of one tire.

I have been going to this location for years, and every time I go in I am reminded why! Great team, quality work and the best customer service Ive experienced. Truly the best!

Went into shop to get an oil change. They tried to tell me I had over 2k in damage. I took the car to the local Nissan Dealership. They kept it over night and after a bunch of test they found nothing wrong. I will not be coming back.

Ive gone here for the last four years and never had anything but great service. Today Justin helped me out and when he realized my coupon for an oil change wasnt valid gave me a 20$ discount. It took a very long time to change but the people are courteous.
