I havent had my eyes looked at in some time and these people made the exam and finding a new pair of glasses a very quick and easy experience. The staff is very professional and kind. Enjoyed talking to each member that helped me. Will always go back! Thanks again!

Was an okay experience. Did feel like one employee took over with my daughter when I was trying to talk to her about what glasses to get for her. Im sure she was just trying to be helpful though.

The optometrist was very nice, quick & did a very good job. The young man doing our testing was also very nice & helpful. I asked which test of my eyes he would recommend & he told me. Im glad I went with it bc now I feel a lot more secure in the fact that they were able to view the inside of my eye to tell me if there was a problem! Most of all, a younger woman with red hair (I dont know her name! Im sorry!) helped my mom & I on the sales floor & she is a complete gem! I would keep going back if just for her! She was so patient, gave opinions, offered advice, basically it was like shopping with a friend. Shes wonderful. I would totally recommend going there.

Stopped In really quick to see if they did prescription safety glasses and was quickly shown the way to the location of them. And when I asked if they had time to do a quick exam I was off and doing a full exam within 5 minutes I was maybe in the store a total of 55 minutes without an appointment and got everything I needed done. Definitely the quickiest and most pleasant visit Ive ever had.

My appointment could not have been any more quick and easy! The staff was cheerful and thorough, very welcoming and they were busy so there was a lot of hustle. Its my choice for new glasses everytime!

I had the best care at this clinic. And yes, its a clinic not just an eye glass store They have amazing staff and an excellent Doctor. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helped me get started. Then I was taken back to do a few small tests with the ophthalmic nurse who was absolutely excellent. After only a few minutes the doctor called me in.Not only did he have an amazing bed side manner but he took the best care of my eyesight that I could have ever hope for. He was kind, comforting, and very knowledgeable. (He even cracked a few jokes which made me feel even more comfortable 😁) I knew my eyes were in good hands. Then I went out to allow my eyes to dilate for a few minutes and the girls in the front were super sweet and helped me pick out the PERFECT frames for my face. I would recommend this clinic to everyone and I plan on it. Also, I am a very frugal person. I believe in getting the most out of my hard earned money. I even left to check and see if Sams club was less expensive and they were.....by only 20$ be a 10 TEN DAY TURN AROUND! Visionworks would have the glasses done that same day so I decided with the excellent care I received it was worth the extra 20$ and went back to Visionworks. I truly had the best experience at their clinic and will be going back for all my eye care needs. Thank you guys! You are the best!

COVID is no excuse for terrible customer service period! Would not let me into an appointment I scheduled the thermometer read at 101.3 taking my temperature upon getting home 98.6! Pearl Vision is way better and won’t deny you entry as they require the mask they understand it’s 100° outside and those infrared thermometers don’t read correctly thanks Pearl Vision for taking care of me

Optometrist was very nice and the ladies working there were nice too however The other two men in the store gave me attitude and we’re not exactly the friendliest. Customer service was good from the ladies and doctor but from the men was trash.

I just walked in without an appointment and was still able to have all my needs taken are of in a timely manner.The staff were welcoming and in great spirits, which is highly irregular these days. Along with cherry attitudes they answered my questions and made me feel like my needs were important to them.I was very satisfied and look forward to fulfilling my vision needs at this location.Sincerely,Todd Huffstutler

This is definitely THE place to go for vision exams and glasses. The doctors are thorough with the exams and explain things in easy to understand terms. Bonnie and Amber are the greatest to work with when choosing eye glasses. I always have a difficult time finding glasses that fit properly, and getting the right lenses, but they both are very knowledgeable and helpful. They truly go the extra mile to help.

The staff is very helpful. Dr. Brownfield’s examination combined with the tests conducted by staff provided a superior body of evidence that my progressive diabetic condition remained managed. A slight change to my vision was corrected through lens replacement. The eye scanning machine’s additional cost was well worth the fee to help view the interior structure and condition of each eye. The magnification and isolation of specific areas proved valuable for a thorough examination.

Didnt actually see the Docs, camein for eyeglass repairs. Have used Visionworks for years. Always pleased with their expertise and pricing. Much better than other eyeglass companies.

I was so pleased with my visit to vision works. I had to bring my six month old daughter with me to my apt and the staff was so kind and understanding to me wheeling around a giant stroller and a fussy baby. They would go up to my daughter and talk to her. I was so pleased by their hospitality and kindness.

Great staff, the optometrist was very caring and understanding of my needs. Eric with his -10 is great at assisting and very knowledgeable. 10/10 would come back again. Shoot maybe even to hangout.

Exam and ordering new glasses went well. Only minor issue with having to stop progress every few minutes while they answered phones.Glasses were to be ready in 7 days. 21 days has now passed and still no glasses! Three phone calls before someone finally returned a call to inform me that the order mysteriously got cancelled and I would need to wait another 7 days. No apology. No indication they would expedite the situation, no offer to do anything except try to explain that it was not their fault.Last time for me at VisionWorks! There are plenty of other places to deal with.

So i was super excited to get my glasses, after not having them for months. The day the store was going to mail it to me I decided, why not go get them because my partner and I were going to go on a little trip. Anyway, we got there, excited an all. It turns out someone accidentally sent them off, we were a little bummed out BUT get this, after the staff kindly did their best to look for them and found out it was mailed off. I wish I got the two ladies names... one of them did something so unexpected I was blown away. She asked me to pick out a frame similar to mine!!! And they’ll do their to match my prescription. And I didn’t have to pay for it!! We do live in Moab Utah, having to get off work early and drive above the speed limit 100 in a 80 😅 because it was closing in 3 hours. I gotta say, I left Visionworks a very satisfied customer!

I lost my prescription eyeglasses while hiking the Colorado National Monument. I reside in Carbondale. The glasses and contacts I received are really wonderful. The best part was having them made and ready within an hour! Great service! Thank you ever so much!

Was pleased with the quick service done including getting the glasses and getting my old ones repaired enough until my new ones came in! Would like to see a text or emailing service though for when glasses being mailed will come in at an approximate time!

Not only will I never return here for another exam but I wanted to make sure that others know the risks you are taking by going here as well.From start to finish this was the worst appointment I have ever had in my 26 years of going to an optometrist appointment. From the time I was with the technician to the the time I left, I felt like as the patient I was not a priority.Also, multiple HIPPA violations took place during my visit - including but not limited to, not giving me the right prescription but one meant for a completely different patient. This place has no idea what they are doing and do not have your interests as the patient at heart.

Made appt 8 days in advance, completed all pre- encounter online paperwork, showed up 15 min early as asked, waited 20 minutes just to be checked in, then told I was THIRD in line for my eye appt. Waste of my time.

Got in for exam right away. Latest technology scans for eye disease at no extra cost! Friendly and honest people. Tried various options for my situation. I left seeing better than when I came in, even though my prescription didn’t change!

I guess I was under the impression that Vision Works would not be as expensive as other options such as Pearle Vision...I have had only one true eye exam in my lifespan. Older now, need bifocals, wanted to get a handle on any other issues with my eyes that may be going on, $450.00 later and a week out my glasses will be in. And by the way, I can get a second pair (different script) for oh just another $400.00. Here’s the real kicker...I have insurance. My son went to Pearle Vision was able to get eye exam, glasses and contacts for $400. Maybe I’m just unaware, but they knew that at Vision Works, I made it crystal clear that was my first eye exam in approximately 30 years!! Not one person gave me a breakdown of costs of exam, retinal scan or the expense of glasses until I had to sit down and pay the bill. The end result was shocking!!! The ladies were helpful, the eye doc friendly. I don’t mind the service I received. However, the expense was a jaw dropper!!! SMH!!!

The girls were FABULOUS and very helpful! I wish there was more of a selection on the sale frames, but very happy with what we found! The ladies working there were super helpful in finding what glasses fit mine and my daughters faces and looked good. 10/10 would go back.

I went to vison works for a contact eye exam to renew my prescription. I saw Dr. Jeri Brownfield. After trying my new contacts for a couple weeks, I felt like one eye was off. It seemed blurry so I made another appointment. The staff were super nice and had great customer service! The eye doctor Jeri Brownfield was super unprofessional and rude. She told me the only reason I came back was to receive free contacts and that I will not be receiving any more trial pairs. How about I couldnt see out of the prescription she gave me and she just put me back in my old prescription. I could see better out of my old old prescription then my new one??? She made no effort to adjust it to where it needs to be. I would never recommend anyone to Dr. Jeri Brownfield. Its a sad day when the staff are more professional than a doctor.

Amanda was super friendly and helpful. She went out of her way to make sure that what we got what we needed to get done since we were coming from out of town. She is a rockstar employee. The world needs more employees like her.

My wife went here for an eye exam. She showed a blind spot on the field of vision test. The eye doctor immediately told her she had something definitely going on behind her eye and said that it could be a tumor or Glacoma. She sent us to Icon eye care where we found out it was nothing and was told she had no business telling us that I understand sometimes it could be something but according to the doctor the likely hood of it being something that serious was very unlikely. She had no business freaking my wife out like she did.

I purchased a new pair of glasses from them, and within a couple months, the coating on the inside of the lenses started coming off. I brought it to their attention right away when I noticed it, and they all told me that I must have done something to cause it, wouldnt do anything about it.I have been wearing glasses for over 20 years and I would never do anything to compromise them. I literally need to have them or I cannot see.I will not go back

Poor patient care and disrespectful staff, I wouldnt recommend this facility to anyone. They offered no assistance so I could be seen by the Ophthalmologist and essentially told me I better have the cash$$$ or I could just leave .

Staff and Dr was wonderful. I usually hate going to eye doctor. They made it a wonderful experience.

I made appointments and still waited 1.5 hours while walk in appointments were seen before me. Then because I had insurance I couldn’t use the buy one get one 1/2 off.. My glasses are nice though.

It was the end of the month and end of the year and I knew my insurance wasnt going to transfer into the next year, so I called late one afternoon to see if I can get in for an appointment and they were able can you get me and within 45 minutes Ive me calling to see if there was any availability. I made it in in time and the staff was very polite and courteous keep up the good work.

If you want the fast food version of an eye doctor than this is your place! You do not feel welcome here at all! We live 3 hours away. We called to make sure they take our insurance. We get there and guess what! They dont take our insurance. The doctors act like they are annoyed and the front staff is extremely rude!

Im a 26 year old male. The examiner literally asked me how my pregnancy was going and then followed up with, Im sorry, I had to say it.The initial woman at the counter called VSP to get my insurance number and verify coverage. She informed me that I didnt have coverage and should call my employer and try to get insurance. I called VSP and had my number within 90 seconds. Im heavily tattooed but have work 60+ hours a week and have exceptional insurance.Left feeling less than human and will never return with my business.***Edit*** Almost every review in the last 12 months is 1 star. Now Im just mad at myself for thinking they were a legit company.

I could never recommend Visionworks and will share my unethical experience to any one looking for an optometrist. I purchased safety glasses and contacts with an exam and paid $434.97 knowing the second pair 50% off was a lie when they increase the retail price to $1,111.85 and subtracted the discount. I paid extra for thinner and lighter high index scratch resistant polycarbonate safety lens. When I picked them up I was told with safety glasses they have to be a certain thickness and I would not receive a refund for high index. After receiving my purchase I noticed my glasses had poor vision compared to my contacts and they already showed micro scratches, even with the scratch resistant coating. I had to schedule a second eye exam finding the first one was incorrect and they would order the new prescription with glass so they would not scratch as easy compared to the premium polycarbonate I paid extra for. I received the replacement pair then returned to have them replace the lens screw which fell out, and they had to order a third pair of glasses when they chipped the lens replacing the screw. When I questioned the cost of polycarbonate compared to glass and insurance coverage, I was assured it was the “same cost to the penny”. Visionworks in Grand Junction are incompetent and unethical crooks from my experience.

I was moving out of state, and was informed because the sunglasses I wanted did not have the lenses in stock they would not be here before I left. The person who was helping me said they could be rush ordered and be here on the 7th, I called on the 7th to see if they were ready and spoke to Bonnie the general manager who said she would go through the shipments and call me back. Never got a call back, came in on the 8th, nothing was ready. Another customer who was there the same time I was, said the prescription on her new glasses was blurry. Save time and money by going anywhere else. UPDATE: owner replied to this review with glad to hear this! Makes me think they dont even read these.

We went in for the buy one get one free same day service but we had to wait a week to even get a temporary glasses for safety and those werent even ready for pickup when they called a week later they didnt even give us a free pair they said it was only for cash and not insurance which makes no sense when the insurance was through the business I would not recommend them to anybody and now they want us to bring the frames back in so they can cut the glasses to fit the frames they are a joke we dont see how a 69 dollar pair of glasses can turn into 300 something dollars

If I could rate as 0 stars I would. I was shopping around and decided to stop by with my prescription and see how much glasses would be, after being told my glasses would cost almost $300 I walked out. I dont have a high prescription and I was not about to pay that much for glasses. The ladies in there didnt seem very interested and were rude, they seemed more interested in talking about their personal lives then worrying about the customers they had in the store.

The sale buy one get one. The one was $700.00 plus exam. So is the second pair really free? I will wait to see my local Dr. . No sales. No sales people no gimmicks. And pay alot less.
