The most amazing true home town hardware! I had a flat tire and they were AMAZING from the girls in the front to Matt who went above and beyond to help get safely back on the road! They have Heart which is very Rare CANNOT TELL YOU ENOUGH THEY ARE AN OUTSTANDING HARDWARE!!!!!

Everytime I shop here, I have to leave to Lowes or Home Depot or Hobbie Lobby for the rest of my items. WHY dont you carry the propper accessories for your Products? Not making the extra trip anynore when its one stop shopping elsewhere.

Home improvement projects are a frustrating experience for me, and the knowledgeable and compassionate staff at PTTV make it better. In an era where poor customer service is the norm, PTTV is a refreshing change of pace.

Bought a two bag set of Kingsford charcoal for 27.00. its 16.50 at Home Depot. Never again.

When I asked the serviceman at the small engine counter to see if they had a fuel valve he refused, saying, I dont have time to go through them all. I had the fittings needed along with me, but no model number. He said, I need the make and model. The generator Im working on HAS no make or model #, as the faceplate is worn off.He basically refused to meet the needs of the customer, even though he couldve done it. BOO. Last time I shop there.

JERRY doesn’t trust a woman who carries a purse, so if you want to shop here o suggest you not bring your purse in because if you do, they will make you leave it at the register and if you refuse, they will shove you out the door ! My backpack is actually a mini backpack aka a PURSE . Thank you very much . I could absolutely understand if someone brought in an oversized backpack, however, a mini backpack/ aka purse is a little different it is only barely big enough to fit my wallet in .

When I first moved out here almost 14 years ago I was so happy to find a great store with helpful employees who were eager to help customers. I would come into this store for all my hardware gardening supplies. My son rotitilled my yard for me so that I could plant grass. I ran out of grass seed so I went to my True Value store. I asked the kind lady were the seed was and she told me. When I got to the seed area, I wasnt too sure what to get. So I asked this slim older man with blondish color hair kinda long in the back and curly, to help me. I explained to him that I do know how to mow, rake, weed whack but have never laid seed. He responded well there it is and walked back to the machine shop. I was so shocked. I have never been treated like I was a bother. I went to the lady at the cash register how rude he was. I wasnt able to get his name.I have decided to shop elsewhere instead of being so poorly... He may have had a bad day, or doesnt like women but that is no excuse for him to be rude...Sincerely,Susan [email protected]

This store is simply fantastic! They have E-V-E-R-Y-thing you could imagine a hardware store would have plus more! My wife and I like to kid ourselves; what is it they do NOT have? We dont know yet. Weve been there a lot over the past few months getting this and getting that for our new house. This is like an old neighborhood General Store. Clerks are restocking shelves, sweeping the floor etc. And ALL of them, to a person, know exactly where everything is located. They see you and ask if you need assistance. If you are used to, and enjoy the Big Box methodology, go there. If you want a real neighborhood store with helpful associates this IS your place. Pricing is very, very reasonable too.

I spend most of my project money at this location with little to no hassle. The staff is usually very kind and respectful.If it wasn’t for previous encounters, I would be rating this experience a ‘one’Be careful at the counter when asking for a comparable price from the other store in town that is related and carry the same product.The answer was a instant “NO”.So, I asked to speak with a manager.He listened to my request and went off (not in a happy manor) to get me an answer.While waiting around the corner, the register employee spoke her mind to fellow employees and customers about my request.That discussion should have been held privately and not at the counter with fellow employees and customers.Very very rude counter experience.Maybe Lowe’s is my next stop.The sale price was honored. Don’t be afraid to ask!

If I could rate this store and the owner Cathy Frederick a zero I would. I WOULD NOT recommend doing business with the small engine shop what so ever!!! She has incompetent people working in it. They completely LOST my Stihl chainsaw and ALL PAPERWORK for it! Not only will she not replace the item, she will only replace what SHE THINKS it’s worth. Horrible person with HORRIBLE integrity! Her four stores will never get a penny from me or as many people as I can get to take they’re business elsewhere!

BE VERY CAREFUL and make sure you have double the money in your account. They will charge you twice, say one didnt go through and not do anything what-so-ever to help out. They said to give it 10-14 business to return to our account. Weve waited well over that amount and never received our money back (with clear proof from our checking account), which we offered to show them but they refused. BUT we did receive a nice little attitude over the phone. Finally just disputed the charge with our bank account. DONE taken care of and will never shop here again.

I go to TrueVale because they are most helpful. Today I wanted a sale item that was no longer on display. The clerk looked in the back, then delegated it to her manager, who found the item that was just transferred from another store. Now thats service I appreciate!

Everything I needed

This is a small store, but they usually have what I need. I can order items online for what they dont carry. They have repair services, just not quick turnaround. All the staff know what theyre doing and can get me to what Im buying. Checkout is usually very fast.

Brad helped us today. I brought my kids in to get a new piece of hardware to fix their wagon. Brad not only got me the piece that I needed but came out to my car twice to measure and then to attach the bolt to the wagon. He went way above and beyond. We are so appreciative!! I will absolutely come back.

I never go to the big box stores unless I just have to. Grand Junction True Value has the friendliest, most knowledgeable sales staff in town and they all know where everything in the store is. And, they may not have a huge inventory, but they have one or two of everything that I have ever needed.
