Went in this store two days ago, the cashier was rude for no reason acted put out when I asked for a receipt for a small transaction and very suspicious ALL BECAUSE I could not understand his broken English when i asked the price of my purchase of the items I bought because they had no price displayed. Woke up this morning from a text from my bank asking me if i spent 147 dollars on a transaction that initially was 2 cookies at the counter at the location across from the quick trip off 150 hwy in grandview missouri, no absolutely not but am certain that very rude cashier who barely spoke English had something to do with it They are being investigated by the police and my bank as well. GO THERE IF YOU WANT RUDE TREATMENT AND CARD FRAUD ATTEMPTED ON A SMALL PURCHASE THEY ARE YOUR ONE STOP SCAMMERS AND HABIB BEHIND THE COUNTER IS YOUR MAN. I hope this place gets shutdown and the cashier gets put behind bars where he belongs. just read past reviews after posting this 90 percent of customers has had the same experience with rude cashiers I am 100 percent convinced this store is bad news go to quick trip across the street if you do not want rude treatment and card theft imposed on you too. Also noticed dust all over the counter and a dead roach on the floor at the counter where you pay. The health department will be notified as well. Last thing I just remembered about this location when i asked for my receipt he presented me with a pen and a receipt to sign for a transaction that was not even mine I AM CONVINCED scammers are running that shack and I am going to do everything in my power to expose this corrupt location AND THEIR ATTEMPTED FRAUD.

Maybe the reviews are old, but this gas station goes above and beyond for service. One of the regular cashiers carried an elderly ladies bags!! I have been spotted many times for a few cents and the regular cashiers are always friendly.

Horrible store!!! Here now to get gas and its a 24hours store and the guy inside doesnt want so lazy that he says they were closed so he doesnt have to work. Management needs to monitor their night shift!

Not a rumor. I have encountered this problem in the past at the EXACT Zips location. I swore to myself that I wouldnt go back. Bad on me, out of convenience I have gone a few time since. This morning I saw shift manager, and man I believe is General Manager, and stated: I heard you made an old woman cry, by not accepting change. Shift manager claimed it was untrue. I said, I doubted it was wrong since I had the same past experience. The GM said: We already bussed that table, I remark I found very offensive. Apparently a crying woman is just a business transaction for GM. My comment: You didnt bus the table, unless you accept all legal tender as the law requires from now on. My recommendation to would be customers: Bring in 99 pennies to include in your payment any time you shop there in the future, or use your card for small transactions such as 50 cents worth of gas at the pump.

We went to get air in my tires and the machine was just letting air out of the tires and not putting any in. My husband went inside to get our dollar back (yes, they charge for air) and they laughed and said he had to call the number on the pump. Nothing about sorry about that or heres you dollar back, just rudeness. Never going there unless I have to. My business will be QT from now on.

Wish negative stars were an option. Never been treated so rudely by ppl in a service industry. Every time I went, I swore itd be the last. These lazy jerks act like they masters of the universe. Came in, always had cash, one time had 3.50 in change & they refused to take it. 8 quarters & 15 dimes & they act like I tried to give them 300 pennies. Never again. Place is filthy anyway. Two inches of dust inside the donut case. Which they dont even have proper boxes for. Disgraceful.

I was there getting gas in my company van and as I was finishing filling up with gas this elderly lady came walking past me crying. I asked if she was ok. She had a handful of quarters $4.00 dollars worth. She told me the gas station attendants would not take the 4 dollars in quarters that she could only get 2 dollars worth of gas and she would have to go to another gas station to get 2 more dollars worth of gas. Im not going to lie this pissed me off so I used my debit card and put 5 dollars in her gas tank. She tried giving me the 4 dollars she had, I told her to keep it and just pay it forward if possible. After all this, I went inside and asked to speak with the manager and I asked why they couldnt take 4 dollars worth of quarters for gas and I was told to mind my own business and they dont have time to count it out, 16 quarters to make sure its 4 dollars I guess. So, i told them I wouldnt be back and I would never spend a penny in their store ever again. The manager was rude and told me they dont care if I dont spend my money with them. Feel free to share I think this is a business worth not supporting. I also know Q-Trip would never treat a customer like this.

WORST place. Rude employees. They intentional SHUT bathroom from public use. Why really spend money here. Go to Quick trip, get treated better, get to enjoy clean bathroom and services.

Their business hours are a lie. I went there at 11 at night and they were closed and it looks like theyve been closed for a while do not believe that they are 24 hours they close at night! If their business hours have changed then they need to update them immediately!

Horrible service wouldnt recommend this store to anyone. So I guess an employee had an attitude and wants to throw customers their change. I felt sorry for them but actually understand why they get robbed a lot lol!

Convenience store also a shell gas station ...like the staff all very helpful.

Heartless and rude!! Hubby went in and an older lady came out crying, like in her 60s or 70s, because they wouldnt take her $4 in quarters and she was on empty.. hubby just paid it for her and told her to keep her quarters and told the people inside they were heartless and would never be back with his business or his many company vehicles...

I would rather catch aids then go here again. It would probably be a better experience.

Wow. So the wife was getting gas here, and a gust of wind blew her door closed. Of course her keys are on the seat, along with her phone. She goes inside and explains whats going on to the clerk and ask if she could use the phone to call for assistance. They tell her no. So an 8 month pregnant woman with her big coat locked up has to walk over a mile back to her house in 40 degree weather. Would one phone call have hurt? sheeesh. I would be ranking a 0 star rating if possible. Will not be giving ANY more business to these ungrateful people.

They dont even deserve a half a star but its making me put at. Least 1 Rude as hell. Charged my card 6 dollars for a 3 dollar pack of cigarettes and then claimed my card had been declined and i knew for sure i had money on there i checked right before going in. When they told me it was declined i told them i know there is money on there i just checked then they told me they voided it my card wasnt charged and to try again. Then i checked my statement and apparently i paid 5.51 only to walk out with absolutely nothing. When i went back to tell them they told me my money would be back on my card by 7 am this morning. I called my card company and they dont even show that zips is returning my money. So im just out of luck and i guess its okay for this business to steal peoples money? I spend alot of money here every week but i will not be returning ever and i will not recommend this place to anyone ever again. Shittiest place around and ill make sure and let everyone know that my money was stolen from me, theyre rude, and they lied. It might only be 6 dollars but it was my last dollars and i walked out with nothing.

Lets be clear, this is a low end liquor store that also happens to sell gas and a few other things. Be warned they close their bathrooms at night so if you are traveling though KC do not stop here for gas or restrooms.

All of the gas machines had the tamper evidence tape was pealed and showing void and one machine had wires hanging out under the credit card slot.

The people working there today acted like it was a bother want to purchase something in cash

They are disrespectful to elderly people who use change and only let then use 8 because it inconveniences them. 8 and 8 is 16. It takes two seconds. Sad and I will never give them business.

The manager along with the employees are very rude the place is always nasty they should close the place down they dont handle food correctly no gloves soda machines are always nasty so is the floor and restrooms where is the health department when you need them.
