Got some good deals on some meat, had my favorite icecream on sale as well.

I bought a black forest cake from bakery. Horrible doesnt even describe it. One bite and i about threw up. My son said the cherries they used was bad. As in spoiled. Worst cake ever

Per pregnant lady: i had to use the restrooms. Both the family and the ladies restroom was so gross had poop stains all over all the toilets. I understand yall are short staffed but this needs to be fixed. Ive lost respect for Fred Meyers.

Purchased 2 brand new ps4 controllers 3 months ago unfortunately they are not the correct ones. I brought them in and the man at the counter today told me they are doing away with ps4. Cant return brand new controllers to my friendly grocery store. So b days and x mass returns ya gotta shop 30 days before the date because of this policy. Definitely lost a weekly customer. Even if they actually broke or anything 3 months time makes me laugh. What a joke fred meyers I would not ever shop there and make sure people hear why. Hope this helps someone in makeing a better decision than me.

Terrible employees, they actually push us out of the aisles while shopping with carts. This happened twice today. The customer service is also horrible.

Best total shopping in GP area. Good organic selection. Sushi/sashimi & soup bar, as well as deli, bakery, fresh fish, good meat. Great houseware, outdoor sporting goods, furnishings, small hardware, excellent florist.

Literally has everything you could ever need. I dont think a super walmart has as much. It definitely is much nicer than a walmart by miles.

Store is fine. Pharmacy is not. They text me said 2 prescriptions were ready for pickup. After a long long line and waiting neither was ready. They said tomorrow. Also the electric carts are still messed up since a year ago before covid. Both of my wifes knees are gone and cart got to the back of the store and died. Finally employee brought another and 2 minutes it died. No shopping done and 1 hour and 15 min wasted I saved her and took her home. fIX the carts or replace them but dont leave them there plugged in it they DO NOT WORK!!!!! This we have said on several occasions. Please do something.

We shop here often and love having all the things in one place. And that there is a Starbucks!

We were checking out with toys, several of the items that were on sale scanned at full price. We asked the self check attendant to check the price for us. He returned saying that the manager told him that the sale tags were left up from last weeks and he had to still take them down. He refused to give us the discount. HORRIBLE customer service...false advertisement. We will spend our money elsewhere, lost customers over three toys...smh.

Store is dank. Shrimp in the deli is SUPER DANK! Had to get 3lbs of it!

I was in need of a cord from the electronics department. Im clueless so took a couple of pictures of my tv and soundbar. I didnt do a very good job, didnt capture all of them. Corey, in the electronics department took the time to figure out what I needed and got me the correct cord! He is an asset to your store, thank you Corey!!!

If you use the Fred Meyer app to order groceries be very careful. I was charged for someone else’s groceries and when I called the store the manager was rude and said it I had to call a 1-800 number. When I called the 1-800 number they could not help me because a third party called Instacart is in charge of the delivery part of the app. So even though it has the Fred Meyer name they don’t care if you are having trouble. After being on the phone for Two hours either on hold or calling the next number, they finally said the most they can do is give me a refund for the difference. Which sounds great but the fact remains they charged my card without my authorization for someone else’s order. I will be deleting my Fred Meyer app. Horrible customer service.

Can’t even get their own employees to follow the mask mandate.1/20/21 came in and tons of people wore no mask. No enforcement. Fred Myers does not follow the mandate at all.Update: don’t reply unless you are actually going to enforce the policy. Actions speak louder than words. I have no faith you will actually address this.

The woman who was working self checkout yesterday. March 23, around noon, Grants Pass.Was not spraying off the machines after each customer and kept hovering over me and reaching around me and touching my screen trying to hurry me a long. It was unnecessary.I even asked her to back up and please give me some space that I had it under control .She didn’t do that, she even moved closer .I’m talking a couple inches,I could feel her breath on my neck.Then she scolded everyone about the X’s that she made and the 6 foot rule while she was 2 inches away from my head.Please remove her from that section she obviously doesn’t get it.

3 times coming in, 3 times spending 30 minutes in the store and leaving with nothing. I prefer Fred Meyers. This store does not represent the brand

The store allows people to shop without masks. The last two times I was there, there were at least 5 people shopping with no masks at all and many other with it hanging on their chin. I will no longer shop at Fred Meyers.

This place is very clean and a great place to shop. Unfortunately about 1 out of 3 of the items that have a tag showing they are on sale, ring up at full price. They will happily correct it if you point it out, but you have to really pay attention. Also one of the best prices for fuel gas or diesel.

Nice shopping experience!

Our first time in this location. We found the employees on the floor self absorbed and did not acknowledge any of the customers. The two guys working in the dairy were busy talking to each other and couldnt see there were customers around them as they didnt offer to move out of the way or even acknowledge the customer. Once they were done talking I had to make sure I was out of the way because the one pushing the cart wasnt going to let me go anywhere. Finding certain items in like looking in a haystack. Certain Freds are run better than others and it is like that with the customer service too!

It’s 2020 and they have no type of wireless pay. Wouldn’t have been a big deal if I wasn’t told they do by a employee and wasted 30 minutes waiting in line for nothing.

The Fred Meyer brand this this store has been going down hill for the last 3 years. The shopping experience bordering on Walmart. The quality of the food has dropped. I dont know how many times Ive purchased bread or chips and they were stale or moldy. The veggies have a shelf life of maybe a day when you get them home. Checkers are slow and the selection of products in the grocery and other departments have been reduced to low quality Kroger brand stuff.

After the way FM in Portland treatedpeople over the dumpster, I question is the only thing you care about in the communities is just to take money.

I am sad to post my review. I moved to the Grants Pass area in 2012 and LOVED coming to Fred Meyer. In the past 7.5 years, however, I feel that the quality of the food products have diminished drastically. I love that they offer organic produce, but many a time that produce is bruised up, cut, or simply old and not worth paying the extra money for. The bathrooms as well now are often unclean, even though there is a cleaning chart displayed in there. The store cleanliness itself is ok, but the quality of their products has drastically gone down.

I was previously a die hard Target shopper until now. I love the clean and organized aisles where everything is labeled with a price. Fred Meyer has everything I need. I LOVE all the holiday and home items. They carry items like you would find at Hobby Lobby!Sadly, if you really like something, you have to buy it when you see it and not wait until it goes on sale. That is a frustrating issue --buying something and the next week its on a great sale- like frames, vases, etc. I wont buy clothes unless they are on sale because of this. Kind of a bummer, but such is the game of retail.The grocery store is always stocked well unless the item is on sale, then they will probably be out. But this is any grocery store! The prices are normal compared to most stores. But there deals are usually pretty good. Meat is better than other grocery stores. I appreciate the organic produce they carry. The worst thing about this store is the Kruger brand (their brand). I normally dont buy store brand until Safeway got me hooked on their jam and a few other items so I thought I would try Fred Meyer brand on a few things, but was highly disappointed. I also wish they had an organic brand. I love O brand from Safeway/Albertsons. So, sadly I have to shop multiple places for groceries.All in all, I love the staff here! There are so happy and friendly and helpful. The lines are never long because they keep enough staff/cashiers on hand. This is priceless to me.I have been in Walmart a few times and it is dirty. The lines take forever. The employees are nice but somehow I always leave feeling like I wasnt appreciated. Mostly, I stopped going to Walmart because of the non shoppers they let hang out on their property. Walmart does not make me feel safe!At Fred Meyer, I always feel appreciated and safe.

Freddys is always my first choice for shopping. It is clean and allows for ease of movement. The scooters are well maintained and there are plenty of them. I especially like the Kroger products! For the most part the prices are competitive. Somehow I miss sales on meat, but that may be my fault. Always buy my gas from Freddys...and my car runs well.

Freddys does a good job of providing a one stop shopping experience. Its friendly and helpful staff make the experience pleasant and you really feel the home town feeling. The only drawback is that they are replacing many name brand products with the Kroger brand which cost less, but is not as good. Im willing to pay a little more to maintain the experience and still have the same quality found in name brand products.

I think Fred meyers is a great store to shop at, they have a great selection of food. I have one complaint about Fred meyers at the grants pass location. It is one of the biggest stores in grants pass and there is only 1 stall in the mens restroom. I had to wait 30 minutes before I had to leave to go to another store because I had to go! Please add at least 1 more stall to the mens restroom. This is a complaint that I have heard from multiple people as well.

More expensive than other stores. I leave with far more often with nothing than I do with a purchase. Now they have implemented a discount card system where you cant get the sale price unless you have the card. I wont darken their door ever again.

The nicest place to shop in Grants Pass. Everything is designed to help the shopper fill their needs. If they do not stock the exact item, there will be something in stock that will fill that need. Good staff are there to suggest items to meet your needs.

Oh man! This place, where the customer service is low and the incompetence is high! Especially in the pharmacy department. I switched to their pharmacy to take advantage of their rewards and gas points. Boy, was that a mistake. Ever since doing so. I have had nothing but problems with them. I have prescriptions that have refills that go out to next year but still, when I call to have them refilled. The automated system tells me, there are no refills would you like us to contact your doctors office? WTH is that all about? Its not just that though. Multiple issues. From having them filled on time or the right medication filled or having it filled at all! This last incident where I requested to have them filled a week in advance via automated system with zero results. I call them and speak with a live human, maybe alien because three days later. Still, nothing. Ive had it. Will never shop or purchase gas or give them my business in anyway! I recommend going somewhere else.

Its a great all around store. If you pay attention you can save money on food and other items. Its clean and relevant to what people want. Parking is relatively easy with many options. It can easily be a one stop shop since they sell everything from food to clothes to housewares, toys, hardware etc.

Great prices on Christmas items!

Ive been a customer now for seven years now, and love this store, being in the food business for 45 years, I have a great appreciation,for well run stores and clean stores, but an even greater appreciation for the workers, and have found most to be outstanding, but two really stand out, Elisha that works all over in the grocery area always has a smile on her face and has helped me find thing that I should have been able to find myself, but with a smile would take to the item I was looking for, we now have a great repor and I look forward to seeing her, Elisha is very special, and a great asset to the store, and so is Carol, that works in the deli, she told me she starts at 4;00AM and does the set up for a morning opening, and then starts doing the hot foods, and this is where I became to know her, always a great attitude and willing to go the extra mile to make me happy with my purchase, I always know when she is off, because the hot foods case suffers for it, she just does a fantastic job of keeping the case full and presentable, and no one can ask for a better worker than Carol, Im writing this because these two Ladys deserve to be acknowledged, Fed Myers is lucky to have them, theyre both just FANTASTIC, and I wish I would have had them as employees when I was in this business...Rod KlompA happy customer

If you want something in their ad, dont bother, they will not have it in stock. If this happened once it would be understandable, but I have been to their store at least 8 times in the last 2 months for an item which is out of stock. I could start a scrap book with their raincheck forms

We hear face coverings are required but you can still visit this location without one as it is NOT enforced. About 1 in 5 people walk in the the building, purchase goods and leave without a face covering. Apparently all you need to say is it causes you emotional distress and that trumps health precautions or jut smile and walk on past the greeter at the door.

The store is well organized and the employees are very kind and helpful. The only reason it doesnt get a 5 star is because of how expensive it can be for many items. However, the selection is good, fresh, and displayed well.

So I found these really good pair Of shoes I wanted Day one of checking them out they didnt have my size we asked if they could look they were busy understand Able even though there were 2 of them and they could have possibly made time to look we didnt push it so we came back a second day they didnt even check the back they checked if we had this if they had the shoe size in the same place we checked but did not check the back then told me that bigger shoes were way better even though they didnt fit.P.s. found the shoes on Amazon For way less than Fred Meyers even When they had them on sell for 50% At FredMeyers And I also got them in my size on Amazon

I love love Fred Meyer! They always have what i am looking for, and seem to always have a sale going on. The staff is very helpful. Its also pretty affordable, Especially if you buy their brand.

Came to this location, and some employees were not practicing proper mask usage or it was below their chin. Customers walking around store without masks or below chin. Seems there is no mask enforcement at this location. Way to be part of the solution.

As of July 1, Oregon’s governor has mandated that masks are to be worn in public places. While shopping at the Grants Pass Fred Meyer today, one day after the new guidance, I was dismayed to see that not only were many shoppers not wearing masks, some of the checkers were not wearing masks.This is unacceptable. Fred Meyer should be insisting that masks be worn, like Costco does. Masks are a safety measure during this pandemic.

Highest prices of groceries and yet everything is difficult to find! Love that they have one hand in my wallet and the other covering my eyes! Broke and lost...now thats what I call a true shopping adventure!Btw: Be careful of the personal shoppers that are collecting items for on line customers to pick up!They move very quickly in the store with little regard of other customers they bump or run over as they wildly go about their scavenger hunt like fervor!

Fred Meyer is not the cheapest grocery store in town. However there are pleanty of deals to be found. From constantly rotating sales to deep clearance items. The produce is fantastic, beer and wine selection is huge, massive toy section, paint, hardware, etcThe even have good sushi made in house and a killer deli for hot foods.

Fred Myers has been and still is one of my favorite stores to shop. I find the store to always be clean and well stocked irrigardless of time of day or day of week for that matter. Fred Myers has a very liberal rain check policy for that rare occasion that they run out of an advertised product. The staff is always greets you with a smile and is always ready to help. The produce dept is always stocked with local fresh produce when in season. Fred Myers is truly a one stop shopping experience for home, food, pet supplies and everything in between at reasonable prices.

Cheap gas and after waiting over 20 minutes the attendant put two cones behind the car in front of us....I hope he steps on a Lego in his sleep, we were like really anyways usually decent place. some type of acknowledgement or even eye contact and a shoulder shrug might of been acceptable. Nope just got treated like a demagnetized Oregon trail EBT card.....no love!!!!Stay thirsty my friends!!!!!

I love Fred Myers. They always seem to have what I need with good prices and frequent sales. When I travel to California, I always tell my family there that I really miss my Freddies grocery store.

The Gold Toe T-shirts are so amazing, I should have bought a dozen. Im a guy, I can get by on 10 of the exact same blue T-shirts, and the Gold Toe beat out everybody else. Maybe I can order them on-line, to my home in the redwoods of Nor Cal..

I really miss Fred Meyer. Chico used to have one and it was fantastic. I wish they would put some Fred Meyer stores in California again. They have unique stuff, friendly staff and good prices. Plus, you can often get everything you need in one place.

Great selection of organic and healthy foods. They were out of my favorite brand of cauliflower pizza crust so am going to stock up next visit. Also Medford store has a wine and beer bar but Grants Pass doesnt? 😋😄

Always clean and the staff are mostly long term and very happy to help. Best department store garden center anywhere, if a bit short-staffed. Used to have the best selection of veg/vegan foods, but they cut it wayyy back. If you need special help with anything, see Carol in Customer Service. Shes all business behind that smile, and she knows whats up!

4 attendants on one island at the gas station. When front car left the attendant just stood at the empty pump instead of calling up the next care in line. Line was 5 long and on the outside so no problem pulling around next car. He looked very comfortable leaning up against the pump waiting. No wonder it took us 14minutes to get thru a 6 car line.😡

Went in to buy a couple of items. Came out with a basket full of groceries and clothing iyrmd. Found everything I needed. The employees were very friendly and helpful.

Fresh and well stocked. The prices have risen, of course, however.

Excellent quality. Great special deals. Low prices on necessities like meat, milk, cheese, good markdown items. Clean, Great service always, beautiful plants, housewares.

Decent store, can be hard to find help though. If it is not on the shelf dont bother asking if they have more in back. They always say they are out and you wast 10-20 minutes of your time.

Rude management & security. While real security issues are currently happening, FM security is more worried about a friend of mine who does all his shopping there attempting to help better/provide for his family income by picking up recyclable bottle after some some severe stuff severely impacted his family. Meanwhile a rude staff member also jumped in too with lies. Simply unbelievable!

We get the organic produce and some other products for our restaurant, Cultured Palate, here. They go above and beyond to help. Love the men and women of the produce and nutrition department!

My favorite one stop shopping - great quality produce including an organic section, grass feed beef and free range chicken. Best cheese selection in town at South Fred Meyer, good wines at good pricing and a geat variety of non food household and garden products I love to shop.

Nice place with great selection and super friendly employees, but the prices are insane for clothing!! $78 for one plain t-shirt, some socks, and earrings?? A bit crazy..

If you love good customer service, local produce and products, and reasonable prices, you should be shopping here! Their rewards program, combined with regularly low prices, makes shopping here every bit as cheap as Wal-Mart. Their produce and meats are way fresher than other stores, and they offer a lot of organic options, many of which are from local farms. I also get most of my clothes from here. They last way longer than what I get from cheaper stores, and I get more compliments for the clothes I get here than from what I buy elsewhere. Sometimes the clothes cost a few dollars more than visually equivalent items from other stores, but they last way longer, fit better, and the materials feel better.

I love their fresh fruit and vegetables isles. And ​their meats are fresh as well. I definitely prefer Fred Meyer over Walmart when it comes to freshness.

We do our grocery shopping here because its more fresh, has a hippie section (organic/natural aisles), and we love bulk bins, the bakery breads, and the Starbucks every once and a while (though would have preferred they kept the Dutch Bros in there from before. The workers are helpful and not miserable like Walmart, and they do the free fruit for kids while shopping - rad!

Excellent selections on everything, nice big store. Prices are higher than I like to pay, so I dont grocery shop there. Recently paid way too much for some clothing there but options in Grants Pass are very limited.

It was a bad experience. We went through register 2. While Nancy was helping the man in front of me I asked where the pudding was. She said she didnt know and told me very rudely to go look. I informed her I wasnt from here and hadnt been in the store for 10 years, I just wanted to get in and out. Then she huffed. I went to go find it leaving my daughter in line. She proceeded to tell the man she was helping how lazy I was and should just read the signs.We told a man at Customer service about the experience. All he had to say was sorry.

Wow, nice Grants Pass has this beautiful masterpiece of a shopping destination. So much better than the GhettoMart next door! The free playland kiddie corral makes shopping a breeze, but beware no kiddies over 48. :(
