Just today took my iPhone 6 to Repair Sharks to deal with issues regarding getting the charging cord to stay in the port (is that what you call it?). Although I came near closing time, one gentleman fixed the problem and fixed it well. I also bought a charging cord. This is my second visit and each time I found the men to be totally committed to the consumer. This is a real resource for Great Neck and the surrounding towns, and it is the place to go with smart phone, computer and other devices’ problems. Highly recommended.

Dan is Picasso with a soldering iron! I needed some headers soldered to a circuit board, and it was done fast and professionally. Plus, the guys who own it are very personable and nice to deal with.

Just had my Dji Mavic drone repaired by the Sharks. Took a pretty nasty crash into a tree coming down. They did an excellent job of replacing the motor arm and fixing my entire gimbal and camera system on the drone. Pricing was cheaper than what DJI wanted and turnaround was a few days rather than weeks.

Simple: Repair Sharks offers at or below-market pricing, and does a great job every time. Moreover its fast: I started some work while I waited and I had barely begun when my phone repair was finished. This was my second repair, and the quality looks great!

Great shop, spoke to a tech named Chris. He had me out the door in less than 30 minutes with an iPhone X repair. He was knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything he was doing. You can see them work right in front of you which is pretty cool. Cool little place to hang out for 30 minutes, they have a lot of different repairs they do which I didn’t realize.

I can vouch for these guys as one of the best places around to fix just about any device. I have been coming here for over 5 years and every single time these guys have been 100% honest about anything I bring in. They have passed up on a few repairs I have brought in for the simple fact that they thought it was in my best interest to replace the device rather than repair. They even went so far as to find a used replacement tablet for me once and showed me where to buy it. Just this alone makes me come back. Any shop willing to pass over a repair to put their customers best interest first is a rarity. I have sent friends and family to their shop and they were all very impressed with how they took care of them. Good advice, good products, and a solid customer first attitude.

Only good things to say about the repair sharks. Helped me during a difficult time and I truly appreciate it. Very honest about the issues I was having with my iPad, they were able to get it working again so I could at least recover my data. That was the most important thing I could ask for. The iPad was damaged rather badly after slipping out of my hands onto concrete and I had little hope for it coming back to life. They spent hours trying to get it to work for me and charged me probably very little for the time they spent getting it to work enough to save my data. They then recommended some other devices online that I could purchase to replace the unit. Great service and I will certainly be a return customer. Thank you!

Comparatively priced to other shops but I prefer using reputable places. Heard good things about the sharks so I gave them a shot. Everything worked out well. Price was good, they had my screen in stock for the iPhone 8, they finished the repair in about 25 minutes, and fully tested the phone with me. That was something I appreciated, overall a good experience.

Never get your iPhone repair here. I came in with a cracked screen and not only did they charge more than any other place I’ve Called or checked with, but they absolutely took advantage. They convinced me that the LiquidNano is the best possible screen protection you can get, that “it comes with a lifetime warranty” so if it breaks they reimburse you each time. I was tired, pregnant and desperate to have my phone back so I did it. The screen broke the next day. I had this phone for years before it cracked and it’s taken a beating from my kids. I had to go back the next day and they charged me full price to fix it again. I submitted my claimTo the warranty. Guess what? A week later it cracks again. This time, I went to a reputable repair place who put a solid replacement screen and also told me that the liquidnano is a complete marketing scheme and never to do it. And also, when I tried to submit for the second repair the warranty company informed me they only reimburse once. So repair sharks did a horrible job twice, and also lied to me.In reply to their reply- I was told verbatim “LiquidNano’s warranty will cover the repair as many times as you need it, hassle free. You just send in the bill with all the information and they send you a check, easy.”If you want a real repair and aren’t too lazy to drive a bit, go to Guru Repairs in Bayside. They’ll actually repair your phone and won’t convince you to buy anything extra.

Very quick walk in service. Went in with a cracked screen and left with a cracked smile! Great service, would rather give the local community my money rather than the Apple store all day. These guys are great. Smart, honest, and fast turnaround on repairs for any electronic devices. If they cant fix it (rare but it happens), they will tell you up front if its worth contacting the manufacturer. They even fixed my BlackBerry last year. Highly recommended for repairs on phones, tablets, laptops, or whatever!

Some of the nicest guys ive dealt with running a shop. Extremely helpful and were actually able to replace my iphone back glass which Apple told me I would need to replace the entire phone to have fixed. This saved me a few hundred dollars. They took the time to explain to me why the iPhones back glass cover was so expensive to replace. You would think for a part so easily broken there would be an easier way to repair it. I got to watch them do some of the work and it looks to be very tedious. Im pleased with the service and would recommend them again.

I dropped my phone in the pool over the 4th of July weekend and had no idea what to do. Apple wasnt very much help and wanted me to buy another phone. Someone recommended me to the Sharks and I am so glad I found them. They were able to save my phone, data, and get my phone working again in just a few hours. I went in with my broken phone and they helped me right away, they told me what was wrong with it and what I could do, they are very nice and they ever gave me options and the best option wasn’t even through them which means they want to help people and not just make money. Prices are very low, a year my phone broke and it was repaired for $80 keep in mind it was a 5C and the other shops charged upwards of $100

They apparently fix more than phones. This was the only place willing to even look at my rand mcnally gps. They were able to find the replacement parts and save me a few hundred dollars having to replace this one. A+

This repair shop (in an office setting) is right around the corner from my home so I walked there today. My phone is a 3 year-old Samsung and I wrote it off as lost - it was turning on/off by itself. So my son put a new screen on my daughters old phone, but that wasnt working correctly either. They checked out both, cleaned my older one (that I had written off) and recommended I keep my old one (which needed nothing more than a cleaning) and charged me $20 for the cleaning and desk check. This is how businesses should run. They know their stuff and dont stick it to you. (**I recently dropped my school I-Pad mini and broke the screen. My touch screen stopped working on Apple iphone. Reading on line it sounded like a part/chip had gone bad. Dropped my phone off and these guys replaced bad part in an hour. Charged a very fair $60. Highly recommend

The owner was very experienced and from our conversation I could tell he had a long history with older iPod’s. At least I have some answers now, I appreciate it very much.

These guys are great. I absolutely SHATTERED my iPhone 5 screen one night to the point where it became unusable. Called in about 5 minutes after they opened; the gentleman on the phone was incredibly polite and told me that broken screens usually take about 30 minutes or so to fix. I was convinced that they wouldnt be able to do anything about it. Im not even kidding when I tell you that it looked like I had a gotten a brand new phone once all repairs were complete. I was hesitant about sending my iPhone in to a place like this... but I had heard from a friend that there was nothing to worry about. My iPhone stopped working, it wouldnt turn on or anything and I had no clue what was wrong with it. I was amazed at the skill and expertise of Dan, Zak, and Mike when I made a trip to the Repair Sharks. They specialize in iPhone and iPad repair but are equally as skilled in xbox repair. I actually had Dan install some computer parts for me which he did so with ease. In fact, he changed out a video card and power supply for me while I waited and chatted with them. I am so impressed with Repair Sharks, they called me when the unit arrived for diagnostics and battery replacement, then they called me when it was being shipped back. We heard about the sharks from one of our friends. One of our kids dropped our iPad and shattered the screenrather badly. The glass actually cut my finger when I picked it up. We took it to the sharks and their service was verygood. They were friendly and knowledgeable about the iPad and their prices were very reasonable. They finished it by thenext day and it looks like new again.

Rather than spend $100 to send my phone (HTC One M9) somewhere in the country to get my battery replaced by HTC and not have a phone for 2 weeks, I took it in to Repair Sharks. It took them a week to get the replacement battery, but in that week I still had my phone with me. I paid $50 for the battery replacement, half what the maker of the phone would charge, and the staff were friendly. Not only did the new battery fix my extreme battery life problems, but it also fixed an overheating problem my phone had the entirety of the 15 months that I had owned it before taking it in for repair. I would definitely recommend Repair Sharks based on my experience with them.

I sent it my olde ipod classic video for a battery replacement in February 14. The transaction was very quick and the ipod was returned and has been working perfectly for two months. I was skeptical so I actually called the company - a person answered - and we had a brief conversation so I took a chance. I would recommend them without reservation. Repair Sharks turned out to be Repair Dolphins - very human friendly!

Truly a great experience. I never review anything because majority of places are average, not good not bad BUT I had to say Dan and his team at Repair Sharks are EXCELLENT AT WHAT THEY DO! And whats even better then their work is their customer service. I brought in a really messed up, old LG Android phone, approx. 15 mins before closing. Dan looked at it, told me what it could be and proceeded to open it and do his diagnostics. After about 40 mins, mind you it is a really messed up phone that i dont need, he broke the bad news that it is repairable but it will cost way more then the phone is worth. Since i dont need the phone, i said ahh forget then. What i appreciate is his honesty, he told me exactly why and showed me what they had to fix and broke that down into terms that the non-technician would understand. He stayed late to try and help me, no overtime, Who does that? So i said thanks anyways, how much do i owe? He said nothing its FREE. So i says nothing is free, he said well here FREE DIAGNOSTIC MEANS FREE DIAGNOSTIC! I was shocked, so i trys to give him a tip for all his help, and he refused and said dont worry about it, and i forced him to keep the money because of what he did for me. This is why i did this review because of the HONESTY, INTEGRITY, CARE, RESPECT, AND APPRECIATION Dan and his team give and show their customers. I am not receiving anything for writing this review, discounts, free services, etc. All i am receiving is the satisfaction of knowing that good people and good businesses still exist. I came here today to fix my sons 3DS game system button. I had gone to another store that kept me waiting 1 week for a part that never came! Theese guys fixed the button on the spot and were extremly nice! I brought in my iPad mini as well and they diagnosed it for free. These guys are very reasonably priced and worth thevery drive.

I cracked my ipad glass and was lucky to find these guys who were in my area and offered walk in service.They are real professionals with great customer service.They expertly repaired my ipad and I picked it up the next day.I even picked up a sturdier case from them (for the next time I drop my ipad). I highly recommend them.

I sent my original Xbox 360 console to them for repair after experiencing the red ring of death. After some confusion (largely on RSs part) about where to send the repaired item to, I finally got the console back and it worked. However, just the other night, I got the RRoD again, so I cant really consider myself completely satisified with the overall experience since the fix only worked for about 3 months.

EDIT: The owner himself called me the very next day about concerns with my recent transaction. Very nice guy who wanted to know if there was anything he could do to make up for what I had experienced. Its always good to know the owner is reading these comments and wants to fix any problem. He issued me a refund and is sending a package for me to resend my ipod back to get the lock button fixed.A while back my ipod lost all sound coming from the right side, so I decided to look online for some do it yourself repairs. I hear that getting an ipod repaired from Apple takes a long time and a lot of money. So I eventually found repair sharks. Got all my stuff together and off my ipod went. Two weeks went by and I hadnt heard from them at all. Sent an email to customer service, no response. I started to feel that this company was a scam (which it is not). After another week I called, the guy on the other end was friendly. When I asked about my ipod they said they never received it. In panic mode I call fedex tracking, eventually they told me that it had been dropped off at Repair Sharks. Calling back the man on the other end then remembered he had done mine and said he was sorry for the mess up. His customer service guy hadnt ever emailed me saying they had received it or had sent it back just the day before I called.Aside from the customer service goof, the reason for the bad score is mostly that my ipod came back worse for wear. The lock button doesnt work, not too bad... But the actual recharge section/allows me to put music on the thing barely works now. Maybe give it a 50/50 chance of it working, without messing with it. And messing with it only will probably make it worse. So seems like Ill just have to get a new ipod sooner than later.

They are not the best for repair, be weary, they will tell you they are fixing your computer but they do not do it. They are very dishonest.
