Today was my first time visiting Fair Muffler and Brake Shop. I am very impressed with the great service I received. 2 days prior to this visit went to their website and sent them an email telling them what issue I was having. The following day I received a reply, and today went in to have it looked at. This was an issue with a loud exhaust. To my surprise they found two issues. One of them needing a new muffler and the other a small leak. They were honest up front and told me I did not need to replace the entire system but rather repair the leak and replace the muffler. It cost much less than I thought it would. I was referred here by someone else who has been a regular customer of theirs for many years. I highly recommend contacting them for any issues you have with your car has they do much more than Mufflers & Brakes. The waiting area is very clean. There is a television, several chairs and a nice comfortable couch. There also is a public restroom that is very clean.

Ross, Theo and Ryan assessed my needs, and performed the repairs on my vehicle expertly without overcharging me like happens so often. I am extremely satisfied with the service I’ve received from them, and will gladly bring my vehicles back for service in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

When dealing with faulty mufflers, it’s tempting to listen to your buddy who says “I know a guy” and then drive an hour into the boonies to get serviced by a guy named Trevor who will charge you $600 for a new muffler made of recycled newspapers and brake lines that couldn’t stop a dust bunny. Instead, go to Fair; they saved me $100 and had me on the road again in an hour. There’s a reason why the place looks professional: they are. They don’t wear suits and ties, but they must’ve made a deal with the devil at some point in exchange for quality customer care. Get that muffler taken care of at Fair.

I recently took my car in to resolve an exhaust issue. Ross was very kind and helpful at the desk and on the phone. The estimate they gave me was spot on and the price was very fair. They were able to work me in to their schedule and get me back in my car in a very reasonable amount of time.Theo gave great customer service when I came to pick up my car. It sounds great now, and I will definitely be looking to them first for any future repairs.

Ive had issues at nearly every other mechanic in town EXCEPT fair muffler here. You may pay a bit more than you tiny hole in the wall shops, but they do the job right and are very honest. I will always go here from now on.

A positive response to a difficult situation. Recently I had some tire work on my vehicle in Green Bay and some problems occurred “down the road”. From another city, I contacted Fair Muffler and told them of my situation. They stepped up and told me to go have it fixed (in my city) and Fair Muffler covered the expense. I was made “whole” and I was happy. Nice to find good honest people who will find every way to meet your needs.

December 2018 GREAT VALUE !! Superior workmanship plus reasonable pricing. I recently had my older (2003) vehicle in for service and wanted an honest evaluation of the problems. Fair Muffler, diagnosed what was needed to be fixed and what needed only a patch. Remember it was a 15 year old vehicle that I didn’t want to sink a lot of money into. They fixed and repaired what I needed and my vehicle runs just fine. I was so impressed with the overall experience that I also brought my son’s vehicle in for a similar service. Now his vehicle runs just great. Fair Muffler is not only Fair but Honest and Capable. If needed, I would return knowing that I would get a Great Value.

Having a mechanic you can trust is one of life’s most important things. I’ve been coming to Fair now for 4 years or so, it’s overdue for a review. They always do a great job! I trust they tell me what needs to be done and no more. They give you options and I’ve used the 6 mos no interest financing for big jobs. I’ve taken my work trucks here and trust them with my Lexus and Porsche Boxster as well. Theo is always professional at the counter and the work is always done right. On one occasion with a brake job on my work truck the brake light had started flashing after and they took it right back in quickly and took care of it -a sensor issue or something. It has been trouble free for nearly a year now. I recommend to everyone to go to Fair. Great service from a smaller independent business.

I brought Fair Muffler a unique and challenging application of installing a set of headers on an older model truck with not much space to work with. After much problem solving they found a perfect solution requiring some custom work. They also completed some routine maintenance on brakes and seals. In talking with the technician doing the work, I was pleased to see how he truly took pride in his work - not something you see much of these days.All work was completed with the highest quality and at a reasonable price. I definitely would suggest them to anyone shopping around looking for both quality and price.

Went in because I thought my brakes needed to be replaced. They checked it out and said they looked great but some other things needed to be done. They could easily have told me the brakes needed to be replaced as well as the other items but they were honest and fair. Good price too and quick, friendly staff. Ill be going there again.

I brought my car in there to get a new muffler. They did a really good job and it was pretty quick. They stand by their work and will give you an inspection without charging you. If you need any exhaust work I would definitely come here!

Fair Muffler got me in right away, did the work quickly, and even brought me back to the garage and showed me what needed to be done and then again after, to show exactly what they did! I recently went to get my Engine Coolant flushed as my Heater Core was clogged. My Transmission line was also repaired as it was beginning to leak and could cause me problems later on. When I got the car back, everything was great until the repaired line sprung a leak. I worked directly with the owner of the shop who was polite and assisted me through the entire ordeal. He paid for my tow to the shop ($75) and offered me ride to the shop once repairs were made. I highly recommend Fair Muffler as they treat their customers with respect and will own up to any mistakes made. Please keep up the good work!

I go to them for everything from an oil change to repairs on my car. When I call they are always friendly and open about options. You truly feel like they know you on a personal level as opposed to being just another appointment for the day. I would recommend no one else and at this point still go to them for everything with my cars years later.

Had some front end work done and it happen at a really bad time but theo was really cool at the front desk and they tacked it as quick as possible for the massive amount of work they did not to mention I twisted my frame and they fixed it all in record time and had me back on the road and i love the Environment they have coffee, cable, and a nice bathroom and a kids play area and a nice big comfortable couch 😁 can thank u enough gentlemen

Great service- brought me to work after dropping my vehicle off. Was an unusual situation and could have been embarrassing for me- at that time there was an ignition interlock device on my vehicle. I can trust them implicitly-they tell me exactly what is wrong with my car or if nothing is wrong, they say that also. This place makes me a little nervous. Went in under the recommendation of a family member. They fixed my car for a fair price and even took me back to work so that I didnt have to miss all day. The next day my wheel almost off while I was driving to Milwaukee. $167 worth of labor and parts later, I called the shop on Monday and asked them if they removed my wheel. They say no but what are the chances that my wheel starts acting up literally 24 hours after I get my car fixed by them?

Great job. Checked truck and found brakes were bad and broken sway bar link. Gave me info so I could check prices. Priced cheaper than I could do myself on oil and tire rotation.

I have been going to you guys ever since I had a car, so for years. I had a 1997 Lincoln Town Car, it had some problems with the drivers side door hinges. I got a quote from you guys and you told me just for parts it was going to cost me over $400 plus labor expenses. I declined to get it done and for a long time just entered through the passenger door. The car ended up getting more problems and it wasnt worth it to me to stick more money into it. I ended up selling it to one of your employees and he fixed the door hinge problem for only $20 at a auto parts place.I feel cheated and taken advantage of. Since I sold the Lincoln and bought a new car and I cant bring myself to go back to you guys for work on mine or my wifes vehicles. I feel the trust is lost.

I have a 2000 Dodge Dakota. A month ago they replaced a cracked U-joint with the new one I brought in for it and only charged me half the cost of what other mechanics charge. (i.e. Gandrud/Dodge). It looks super professional, is still connected, and looks like it will hold forever.
