Matthews Tire on Oneida Street in Green Bay is the greatest place to bring your vehicle for any needs. They are friendly, knowledgable and professional. They always take the time to explain to me what needs to be done to my car and why, sometimes even coming out to my car to show me personally. The experience here is not even comparable to the dealership because Matthews is out of the dealerships league. 10/10 would recommend.

I went in to get a price for replacement tires on my 2009 Honda Pilot and they had a replacement for the Goodyear Assurance that I currently had. Those tires lasted me 72000 miles and six years. I was in around 11:40 and Matthews had the new tires installed by 3:30! Im extremely happy and the new Assurrance tire that they recommended shows excellent reviews on line. Michael Oreto from Matthews in Green Bay was excellent to work with. Very pleasant and efficient!

I went to Matthew’s Tire after a recommendation from a family member after hearing my usual spot was going to take several weeks to get an appointment. They listened to what I needed, gave me a few recommendations and then let me think about it. I went back a few days later and they brought the tires in from their Appleton warehouse and I was on the road again. Very happy with the service and free rotations. I’ll be going here for all my oil changes and tires from now on!

Yesterday I had a vacation day from work and woke up to finding a screw in my tire. At my husbands recommendation, I went to Matthews. Even though they were incredibly busy, Ian said they would take care of my car. David wrote the order and reassured me, they would get it fixed so I could be on my way. What we didnt anticipate was the screw was outside the repairable area of the tire so I ended up having to get 4 new tires. Long story short, my husband helped pick out a set, which Matthews could get from their warehouse, and my car was set to go a short hour later. David also printed out and explained my receipt and a rebate for the tire. I now have free tire rotation which I will definitely take advantage of so they last a long time. I would highly recommend Matthews and thank you for making my day end on a positive! You are a great team with a high level of customer service! Thank you!

It is so rare to find an Automotive / Tire Shop that consistently hits a home run! Every time I go to this shop, the employees are friendly and helpful - its almost as if they never have a bad day. I feel welcome and comfortable waiting for my vehicle or dropping it off for service.The value of my dollar goes a long way here. They charge fair prices and you never feel like youre being taken advantage of as you might at other shops. This is especially important to me as a female who occasionally has run into a mechanic who talked over my head. That doesnt happen at Matthews Tire.These guys are the real deal. Solid, professional, and efficient. Youll really be in good hands here.

Do NOT go here! They always try to upsell and I brought my car in to get a part fixed on the engine and I still have the same problem as before. I called them and they were already trying to tell me it’s a different problem but this never happened before.

I had several new tire sets put on at Matthews, the service has been great. Follow up flat repairs have been covered by the road hazard warranty without any problems. The guys at the front desk are helpful and professional.

I like it here - the service is always great and on time. Prices are quoted accurately and I always roll out knowing everything has been taken care of correctly. But what really stands out is the staff, Tom in particular. We can all choose where to get auto work done, but why not choose to take your car to good people? Highly recommended.

Great service before our road trip. We had a great experience at Matthews Tire. Prior to a road trip, we got our van checked out. All was good, but a couple things were recommended. We decided to go ahead with one of the recommendations and get new rear shocks. That made all the difference in the ride of the vehicle and made for a much happier road trip. I had a wonderful experience here! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I went in for an oil change expecting just that but they checked over my entire car! The fluids, tires, tire pressure were all checked. They noticed my air filter was very old and dirty and asked if I wanted it replaced and they were able to do that. They also noticed my belt was cracked and notified me of that and they were able to change that as well. So all this was done along with my oil change!!!! I expected a hefty bill but was very pleased to discover that their prices are some of the lowest Ive seen!!!!! I will definitely be coming back here from now on!

I would probably give a zero if I could. First it started with just getting my car checked out because I was having problems with it. Initially they told me that it would cost $40 to have it checked, then they looked at it a little more and said they would have to hook it up to one of their machines and changed it to $100. Well when I picked it up a couple of days later the final cost came up to $164 just to check it out. I thought a courtesy call was usually in order just to let you know what was going on if the price goes up and to have your permission to continue. Guess not!! Again this was all just to look at it, not fix it, just look at it and find out what was wrong with it. $164! So that was just half of the problem. The other half was the parts I needed to get my car fixed. I decided to look else where to compare prices and Im glad I did. On one single part I saved $130 by going to another auto parts store. At the store where I saved money the guy told me that Matthews tires was probably just seeing what I would buy. They definitely tried to pull a fast one over me, Scammers. All in all I saved over $200 for the same parts at a different quality auto store. Definitely dont recommend bringing your cars here, first and last time going there!!

If I could give negative stars I would. Wife brought in her vehicle to have an oil change and have a transmission leak looked at. She paid 50 dollars for the dye test to determine where the leak was coming from. After words they where unable to tell where the leak was because it was leaking from multiple places and the lines were cracking and gave us a quote of around 1900 to fix. She brought it home and I looked at it and found the leak within 5 minutes. They never removed any of the plastic skirting to get a better view. It ended up being a leak in the radiator which only cost me 140 dollars. Sounds like the typical trying to pull a fast one on a person that does not understand vehicles. Very disappointed seeing the company I work for uses them for service work. Might need to talk to our vehicle fleet manager about this.

Check engine light was on in my Jeep. After checking it out, they sent me a condition report over email and text. That was very helpful understanding what was right and wrong with my vehicle. I told them to go ahead with the repair and a few hours later it was done. I was also lucky enough to get a courtesy vehicle. Very convenient and a nice new car. Thanks to the team for their great work.

Ive been going to Matthews for more years then I want to admit. Will continue to go there. They go the extra yard and even took groceries out of the back of my packed Jeep to get the spare tire and then put them all back in at no charge 👍. I go to them because I trust them with my wheels. Did have a few problems with them in the past, once with wheels that seemed the balance was off and the last time they did scratch the clear coat on the stock 20 Jeep wheels, but I know they will work with me on it and they are the only ones I trust with my wheels (oddly enough). (One start taken off for the bad balance and scratched 4 aluminum wheels).

Needed a tire fixed on a Saturday, due to a nail in the tire. Got me in right away. Fixed it within an hour at a reasonable price. Very friendly service.

I went here for new tires back in dec. They asked if I needed it back at a certain time. I informed them that I work at 2 so if its done by 1 that would be great otherwise I would just get a ride from my bf. They called me at 1230 and said it was done. Three months later I went for an oil change and have them check out a sensor on my car. They were very efficient and informative about said sensor. The staff there were friendl and prices were affordable!

I was there a few weeks ago for a oil change and they broke my hood latch and sent me on my way! I had to go back so they could make the hood open! Not 1 apology never offered a fix to the situation! I would have bought the part cause its fair givin the vehicles age but it was clear they didnt want to fix what they broke!

Slow service. The guy took the wrong tire size on my car which ended up in the wrong tires coming in. Then told me what tires they had, so I agreed to purchase a set outside of what I wanted. Then, 15 minutes later they came back and told me they’re now out of stock for those specific tires that I had just agreed to buying. Then wanted to charge me for more expensive tires, of course they had those in stock. Took the mechanic forever to put my tires on. Unreal, lost my business. This wasn’t my first bad experience with this place. They’re one of those scam stations that try to charge you for things you’ll never need on your car. Buyer beware.

Went in to get an oil change and was listening to an old lady talking about a coupon that she forgot. The man behind the counter explains to her that he spends THOUSANDS a year on advertising and that it is not his job to keep coupons for customers to use in his facility. First off, nobody should ever be treated like that no matter what. Second, as I had expected they came back with well over a thousand dollars of work that they said needed to be done (some immediately so I would not break down on the street!). I pointed out that they had missed some things that needed to be done to which was quickly added to the estimate. The parts cost for two items that he had listed was $150 over what I could have bought them for . I have heard about places like you on tv. Stay away.

Please shop around locally and compare prices before going to these guys. $1200 dollars for a set of tires installed on my truck that I found out were at fleet farm for $900 installed. So before you commit to being bent over on the counter do yourself a favor and look elsewhere first. Aside from this I noticed within weeks of having the tires installed that I had to add 30psi into one. I took it to fleet farm and come to find out the beed was not grinding clean enough and they also put regular car valve stems into light truck tires. They are supposed to be installed with HIGH PRESSURE VALVE STEMS. Great job Matthews.

Ive been to a number of auto shops in the Fox Cities, and only two have stuck out as five stars - this shop, and Firestone in Appleton on West College Ave. Im happy with the work they do and with their promotions - buy tires here and they will rotate and align them for free. All I pay for is an oil change.
