My wife and I decide to go mattress shopping after leaving the gym. We are African Americans and professionals but we were still in our gym attire. The first store we came upon was Mattress Warehouse. No sale associate acknowledged our present or greeted us. After walking around the store twice, we went to Mattress Firm. Immediately, we were greeted with a smile and an associate (Wesley) help us to identify the bed that we needed. He was very patience and explained the difference in the mattresses and pillows. Wesley made it a extremely pleasant experience and the cost was very reasonable. We spent nearly $3,000 that day and I would gladly recommend this store to anyone in the market for a mattress.

Go see Jordan Wilson over at the store on Wendover! Not only is he polite and funny but he genuinely cares about your budget and sleep cycles. We were unsure about purchasing a bed at first, but Jordan made it easy. Definitely go here! Great deal, great customer service.

We were out doing some homework and were comparing Mattress Firm with a chief competitor which sits no more than 30 yards away. All I have to say is after spending 30 minutes with Alex and Patrick, we never needed to leave the store. Although my issue is not 100% resolved yet he is doing a great job making sure its taken care of. I was very irate but he has me calmed and at ease I respect that.

GO THERE to buy your mattress. We bought, I think, the most expensive one they had (I have a very bad back). The salesman, Jordan, was extremely helpful. Id see him, if I were you. He certainly knows his stuff. The mattress was too firm so, all we did was go back to the store, tell Jordan the problem, and next thing you know a perfect Sterns & Foster Plush mattress was delivered to our house and the really firm mattress was taken away. You CANNOT do wrong by buying a mattress at this store.

Today’s experience with mattress firm on wendover avenue was extraordinary. The rep Jordan was so helpful. I mean over the top helpful and so knowledgeable on the products in the store. He even saved me like 3k on a mattress and showed me the twin of that same mattress for a better price plus Labor Day sales. He was very respectful and followed all the covid -19 rules. I had just gone thru hell with Sleep Number (DON’T BUY ONE!) so was very pleasantly surprised to be met by Jordan who was funny, not pushy and able to have a definitive answer for my every question. I visited mattress firm having no idea what type of bed I was looking for . We walked around with no pressure to pick the most expensive item . We were approached by our sales rep Alex who had the most patient approach I’ve ever encountered when shopping . I had never bought a new mattress by myself before. i chose to go here first because of the reviews from previous customers. My own experience was no different. from the moment i walked in the door and explained to alex how i was feeling, and what i was looking for; he made the process seamless and informative. the atmosphere was comfortable as the mattresses! thank you, alex, for making sure i was excited and confident with the important purchase of choosing where i will lay my head every night.

Went in for high end pillow for better sleepthere where 2 associates when we entered one was not helpful and said they did not have pillows to my girlfriend after we had already called ahead so she came out of the store adjitatedso ... when i entered and spoke to the you ger gentleman he seemed to know how to do his job and actually helped with the purchase and it only took aprox. 5-6 minutes and we where done with the purchase we will see how the pickup goes

The worst place to get a mattress. The first time the bed was attempted delivery it a had hole through it from the forkift. It was so obvious we refused delivery. We waited on the 2nd scheduled delivety date and they didnt have us down at all. Finally, we just requested refund and we had to return the bundle before refund. We went to the store on Bridford where we bought it to get a refund. There was Todd passed out on one of the beds. We jingled keys, hacked and coughed to get it him to wake up. He finally woke up and we will not be back.

My experience with Mattress Firm has not been totally positive. I will admit that Todd spent a great deal of time helping me find the perfect mattress which I purchased before leaving. The only problem was that I wasn’t informed until just before paying in full for the mattress that there would be a delay of 3 weeks before it would be delivered. I was disappointed, but decided I could sleep on my recliner for another 21 nights.The day before delivery, I received a call that my mattress had been back ordered and I would need to wait another month. I will admit to first being quite angry, but I realized nothing has been normal during this pandemic. I decided to go back to Mattress Firm and order another mattress hoping I could get one sooner. I reordered from Armond and was given an expected delivery date of just 5 days. Hopefully, delivery will be Thursday and I can once again enjoy the luxury of sleeping in a bed.On the second receipt, there was a disclaimer about the possibility your mattress may be delayed. That would have been nice to know the first time I shopped and if any brands were having difficulty delivering their products.On a side note, I did find out that some of the materials used in making mattresses have been used in making protective masks during the Covid-19 outbreak. Thanks to all the industries that have stepped up to help our country get through this terrible time. God bless America.

My daughter who is a student from UNCG went into the store today and met with Jamie. Her experience couldnt of been better! I am writing this review so other parents can feel comfortable sending their kids to this store and have a great experience as well! It can be a little overwhelming for young adults to do this themselves. Jamie worked with my daughter and she is getting a great mattress delivered the next day...I cant as a parent ask for anything more!

I originally gave this place a 5 star review (they give incentives to leave positive reviews). Well since I left that review I have had nothing but issues. The lady who I bought the mattress from at the store, Phillisa, placed my delivery date for AUGUST instead of May... good thing I called today (the day it was suppose to be delivered) And now they can’t bring my mattress till 8 pm tonight... they also have had AWFUL communication skills.. this has truly been the hardest part about moving into our new apt.. I would NOT recommend this place at all!!
